TECH HELP! Array setup....LOST

So I'm finally getting a larger archive setup, but it not working and maybe this is way out of my league of knowledge... Hopefully someone here can help...I posted on creativecow and gotten no responses...
I bought a Norco 12-bay array

And a Sonnet E4p 4-port eSATA card for my late 2009 Mac Pro Nehalem 8-core.
drivers installed, system agrees and detects it..... I have 2 Hitachi 2TB 7200RPM drives to start with..
I have tried the drives in nearly every slot, rebooting...and nothing comes up. No new drives on the desktop or in the disk utility are found...
This is where I'm stuck.. Do I have to format the drives first inside the Mac Pro? At one point, the drive did show up, but after a reboot, lost again... Was I supposed to get a RAID controller card instead of this card?
I'm soooo ready to give up on this....I wanted something expandable, but now I'm thinking I shoulda just bought some usb drives to archive.
Inside my Mac, I already have a 4-drive RAID-0 and 1 drive with the OS. All this is getting maxed out.

if youre starting with only two drives, i wouldve suggested a nice 200$ 5-bay port-multiplier enclosure. With that 4-port sonnet card, you could eventually add 3 more 5-bays for a total of 20 drives. . . .for under 1k$.

when you say archive, do you want this data online all the time or real archives that you will fill up and put in the closet?
i ask because an offline solution might be served by a simple docking solution.

According to your profile, the phone is an iPhone 4, right? I'd also advise u not to constantly call the phone as you may cause the person who took the phone to be in distress if its not a trustable person, or it has not been handed to the police or any safe place; resulting in your phone getting turned off, drain battery faster etc.
1. Is it iOS 5?
2. Have you turned on Find my iPhone in the initial setup process? It's integrated into iOS 5 I believe due to iCloud. Not iOS4
3. Is data on?
4. Theif hasn't turned it off
If these criterias are satisfied, your phone can possibly be tracked with iCloud at http://www.icloud.com
Click the tiny iCloud icon on the left side of your screen, select find my iPhone.
DO NOT ALERT THE THIEF BY PLAYING A SOUND IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO DECREASE CHANCES OF RECOVERY - It's a no turning back for whoever he/she is.
Possibly, get a trusted buddy or anyone close to you to borrow you an iPhone WITH Find my iphone, you probably can track it real time with the google maps on Find my iPhone. You need to login to your apple id.

Apple tech helped me 60 min ago. Told me to create new account for wife. Wiped out her ipod music--now iTunes wont let me download it in her new account so I can restore her music! Help!!

Today an Apple tech helped me 60 min ago. Although my wife and I have diff apple ID's, our music was mixing and syncin back and forth. The tech told me to create new comp user account for wife which I did. I wiped out everything on her ipod and signed in under her ID. When I tried to put it back I got a message that I couldn't download her purchased music for 90 days because there was another apple ID associated with my computer. Not sure wether that means mine or hers. What I am sure of is that I'm dead if I can't get her music back. Please help. Thanks, Craig

I can understand how that would be frustrating. If you created a brand new Apple ID for her, your Apple ID should not have been affected any more than anyone else's. They are as separate from one another as your Apple ID is from mine.
Since you just bought your MacBook Air, you can certainly contact AppleCare for this, and I encourage you to do so. They will straighten it out.
Until then, if you want to troubleshoot this on your own, sign in to your Apple ID here:

Click the blue "Manage your Apple ID" button. If it says it no longer exists or gives you other hassles, it's probably not worth your effort to pursue. Have Apple fix it.
Contact Apple starting with this link - never Google it: http://www.apple.com/support/
Navigate the pages as follows:
Under "Contact Us" click the blue "Contact Support" link
Click the blue "Get Started" button
Click "More Products & Services"
Click "Apple ID"

You can redownload you previously purchased apps for free as long as they are still available in the app store. Be sure you are logged into the Apple ID in iTunes used to purchase them, then follow this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519.

Try a hard reset:- hold the home button AND the power switch - ignore the red "Slide to power off" and wait ubntil the iPhone powers down, and then restarts - at the Apple logo, release all the buttons and see if your contacts reappear.

Your Downloads folder should be in your Home folder. Just drag it to the Dock.
If you've managed to delete it, try creating a new folder called 'Downloads'. You will probably need to nominate it in Safari or any other browser preferences as your download destination. (Safari Preferences>General, 'Save downloaded items to:' menu)

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then the steps half-way down this page should let you reset them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

I see it the other way round, from my perspective from working on both sides. I have a theory that half of the questions asked by users are valid because the manual does not explain adequately, and half the help given by tech help is not understandable or incomplete. Like two minds a mile apart!

The steps below may help get your events and projects to appear in iMovie.
Verify that the latest iMovie update is installed.
Open the Mac App Store.
Click the Updates tab.
Click Update All or the Update button that appears next to iMovie.
After verifying that you have the latest version of iMovie, you can update your projects and events by following these steps.
In the Finder, click the Go menu and choose Home.
Open the Movies folder.
In the iMovie Projects and iMovie Events folders, you’ll find a file named “UpdatedtoiMovie10.” Move this file to the Trash from both folders.
Open iMovie.
Choose File > Update Projects and Events.
iMovie will update your projects and events. You can repeat these steps for projects and events stored on external drives.

Currently the Airport Utility does not appear to be on the downloads page, you can call Apple support line to receive a replacement disk, but be aware there may be a charge for replacement CDs.

Have you tried reseting your device by holding home+power button until the apple logo appears? If this doesnt hel ,please back up your device and do a fresh restore with itunes. To do a restore, follow these steps:
