Tech Specs say 4 hour full-charge time..

When my iPod (Touch 5g) gets low on battery, I plug it in like most people do. However, it charges to "100%" in about 45 minutes. I find this very strange, because the tech specs for this device say it takes about 4 hours for a comple recharge. Normally this quick charging would be a plus, but I find that my iPod dies very quickly, moreso than it used to. I'm not sure if the battery percentage sensor is messed up, or if it's because of iOS 7... Does anyone else have this problem, and/or know what to do to fix it?

• Tech specs says I'm eligible for upgrade. Mac App store says I'm not. Please help

I have an older macbook pro. Model identifier 2,2. Tech specs says that I'm eligible but mac app store says that my MBP isn't. I already have Lion. This shouldn't be a problem. Please help.

If your MacBook Pro is from mid-2007 or newer, you can still download Mountain Lion.
You just have to purchase it at the App Store for $20 U.S.

• My BB Z30 very slow charging it take 8 hours full charging

It is always recommended that BlackBerry users use BlackBerry branded accessories that come with the device. You should use the BlackBerry charger that came with the device. When charging a BlackBerry smartphone (Z30, Passport, Leap etc) with large batteries, it may take a while to fully charge the battery. Basically bigger batteries take longer to charge. I would say 8 hours to fully charge a BlackBerry Z30 is about right. For me personally I would leave my BlackBerry device charging longer.

Dear Sir !my bbz30 very slow charging it full charge in 8 hours please help me. i have charger 2amp charger. please tell which amp best fast charging for my bbz30. thank you

• What is the Full Charging time of asha 305

i want to know in how much time its get full chargedup from 0 to 100

don't have 305 so don't know it's charging time. one thing that I have noticed is that USB charging is a lot slower than using the real charger (round plugin). 4hours sounds really long time, my x3-02 charges up within a hour or so (haven't really measured)

• Why does my ipad says its full charged and its at 1% and it doesn't change?

Like I plug my ipad and it appears the full charged icon when its at 1% and it doesn't change if I unplug it. But when it's plug it doesn't turn off.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

• Battery icon just says "not charging" full charge takes 9 hours :(

Regardless if I select time or %, next to the battery icon just says "not charging". It does not read out how much time or % of battery life I have left. Also the battery went to zero and when I plugged it in, it says a full charge would be almost 9 hours....is this normal. The cyce count is 125 and condition is normal......thoughts? thanks

I had a similar problem with my black macbook... I took it to the Genius bar and they determined that it was a faulty charger. The light on my charger would flicker orange/green/orange/green. sometimes no light at all. They replaced it. But since my battery had been recharged over 300 times, they replaced the battery as well. Since then---no problems with charging.

• Lightroom 4 tech specs question?

Lightroom 4 tech specs says it runs on Intel® Pentium® 4 or AMD Athlon® 64 processors. Will it only run on these processors? Or will it run on others like say XEON?

It depends on what your definition of "run" means and what camera file types you will be using. I started using LR1.0 on XP 32 bit with my Canon 300D 6Mp images on a 3.0 GHz Pentium 4 system with 2GB memory. Everything worked quite well right up through LR3 when I bought a Canon 5D MKII 21Mp body. The 21Mp CR2 raw image files brought LR3 to its knees, making it almost unusable. LR4 requires even more processor resources.
I currently use LR4.2 on Windows 7 64 bit with an i7-860 processor based system and 12GB memory and it runs quite well with the 5D MKII 21Mp raw files. There is what I believe to be a small group (<5%) of LR users that are experiencing performance issues with LR4, some on fairly high-performance systems. In some cases attached USB devices (phones, monitor calibrators, MP3 players, etc.) was the cause and removing them has resolved their performnce issues. My best suggestion would be to use a high-performance dual-core or medium to high performance quad-core processor with at least 6-8 GB memory. I suggest downloading the trial copy of LR4.2 and give it a test drive.

• HT1725 When I download a song from iTunes into my library, it often says it has downloaded, charges me for it, and on the song in my library shows the full playing time. However, when I play the song, at around halfway through it skips to the next song?

When I download a song from iTunes into my library, it often says it has downloaded, charges me for it, and on the song in my library shows the full playing time. However, when I play the song, at around halfway through it skips to the next song?
i'm just wondering:
a) why it does this
and b) how to stop it doing this, because it still charges me for the song :/

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

• I haven't used my iPod in a few months. Gave it full charge, music showing on screen and in iTunes. But when I push play, it says "Now Playing", but the time isn't moving forward and nothing is playing. I have already reset it and that didn't help.

I've had this iPod Classic for a couple of years, and only use it every so often, mostly when I travel. Just bought a speaker so I can listen in the house. Gave it a full charge. The music is showing up on the screen, and it also shows up in iTunes on my computer. When I try to play something, whether it's a song, artist, album, whatever, the screen shows the name of the song and displays "Now Playing". The time stays on 0.00, however and doesn't move forward; and no sound is coming out whether on the new docking speaker or with a headset. I tried the reset procedure, but still no change. Can anyone help me? Thanks!!!

A 4th gen iPod can not be upgraded to iOS 8. 7.0.2 is the high version it can run.

• What does 'usage' under "Time since last full charge" indicate?

At present, it says the standby since last full charge is 17 hours and usage is 5 hours. I am sure I haven't talked on the phone for 5 hours. So what exactly does this 'usage' indicate? Anyone please care to explain?
Also, is there an app that would display how much each activity is using my battery since the last full charge or even simply how much time a given app/service has remained active.
Neerav

usage is the amount of time you have been actively using the phone as opposed to standby where it is just sitting in idle

• HT5423 How many hours is the charging time of the iPad 4th gen?

I am charging my ipad, & noticed that its been 9 hours & still its 90 percent. I just wanna know, how many hours is the charging time of an iPad before it gets 100% full? & is it normal that the charger become hot? Hope someone can answer this question. Thank u.

Chargers, and the unit being charged where the battery is located, will get warm during charging...charging does work on the battery. If it is hot or too hot to handle then you need to decide if it is too uncomfortable and needs to be checked at the Apple store genius bar.
Nine hours is a long time to charge, but if you discharged all the way it can take 4-8 hours to fully charge.
If the charger is getting very hot and taking a long time to charge you may want to take it to the genius bar and have it checked by the techs.

• IPad is full but says it needs charging and won't start

After charging my iPad all night long from a wall plug in sleep mode, it says it needs charging when I unplug it and won't start. Even holding the two buttons doesn't do anything. I know it's charged because after leaving it unplugged for some time (can take from a quarter of an hour to a whole day) if i reset it, it miraculously decides to work, and when it does, the battery level is at 100%. This is a real pain.
Anyone else has had the same issue? Any idea how to fix it?

Work through the tips in http://support.apple.com/kb/YS3281 and see if that helps. If not, a visit to an Apple store genius bar for testing by the techs would be in order.

• Battery icon says/shows full, but it is not actually charged.

My battery icon keeps saying that it is fully charged (or when it's connected to a power source that is it "Finishing Charge...") but when I unplug it, the time says it only has a few minutes left. I've tried restarting my computer, but that didn't work. I'm not really sure what's wrong with it. I've also let the battery die out and then try charging it, but that didn't work. Anyone know what I can do?

Yeah, it was purchased in August 2008. I'm not really sure what a charge cycle is, but I do plug it in and unplug it a lot to a power source. Mainly because I keep my computer on most of the time (either on or on sleep). So between taking it to classes and stuff, I'll recharge in between and when it's really low, otherwise I run it off the battery most of the time.
On a sidenote, I have went to that information thing about about the battery after letting it sit plug in for a few hours, and now it has this information:
