Suppose in a Project.........there is some requirement to develop a report for some Application Area(Like : MM,PP,SD,FICO,HR,etc).........no when some transaction is made.......it will hit some table.....Now ABAPER are not aware of the fact..........that a MM transaction is going to hit which table........they are fir writing code using those tables...........It is the responsibility of the Functional Gui.....that they will prepare a whole format(Selection Screen laypout)............that which fields they need in the report........in which format............what will be the output......and from which tables and from which field they will get the data..........This is called Functinal Specs .................
Now depending on this Functinal specs report will be develop..................
After that technical Persons......ie the ABAPERS will prepare the Technical Specs...........it is basically a document........so that anyone who will go through the documants can understand.........how the Report is retrieving the data.........bcoz..the Abaper may leave the company.........now in future if company need to make some changes to the report.............someone who is now there working as an Abaper hav to understand the coding...............for that we need this document........it will contain all the details......like.........how the tables are joined.........all the related information that are required to understand the coding.......

Hi - I want to sell my MacBook Pro (to buy a new one). I am one of those people who loves Apple because I do not have to worry about techy things as I had to when I was a PC guy. The problem is that, as a result, now that I want to sell my MacBook, I cannot remember its tech configuration and do not know how to get it!!
I am sure this question is most silly for most of you. Could someone please let me know how I can get the tech specs of my MacBook? In particular, I was thinking of:

For the published specs, click on the Support tab at the top of the page, select the "Tech Specs" link, and search for your model of MacBook Pro. For specifics about your system, run System Profiler, which will be in Applications -> Utilities folder on your MBP.

HT1338 Serial # W87*****Z67 OS 10.7.4 is my late 2007 MacBook Pro (black) but when attempting to purchase X Lion upgrade I get message that hardware is not supported. But X Lion tech spec says mid to late 2007 Macbook pros supported. Any thoughts?

Tech Specs for 24" Imac Screen/Comparison

Does anyone have the actual tech specs for the screen itself in reference to the 24" Imac (response time, etc.)

The 24" ALU iMac's display panel is an *LG.Philips LM240WU2-SLB1*.
According to TFTcentral, it's an 8-bit S-IPS panel. For more specs see:

Great specs, but the specs don't say anything about iMac's problems with
uneven backlighting. The white 24" used the LG.Philips LM240WU2-SLA1,

I don't have a mfgr's part number, but it uses a 6-bit TN panel. Faster
than S-IPS, but significantly poorer viewing angles. OTOH, it probably
doesn't have the brightness gradent problems common in ALU iMacs.
For $75 more, HP's LP2465 and Dell's 2407 have superior 8-bit LCD panels,
and much better warranties (3-year & 5-year versus 1-year on the w2408).
I'm sure there are many other good (or better) choices as well, but I haven't
been monitor-shopping lately.

Can I get the tech spec for my mac mini online?

I am selling my mac mini and need the tech spec as the one's on the Ebay catalog are not correct for this model. There must be a way of entering my serial number but I can't find a suitable site and Apple Support will charge me for asking them!!!

Adobe AIR 14 video player app : windows 8+, Mac OS 10.8 &10.9, android 4+ not mentioned in Access tech specs

We're currently studying to develop a video player app using AIR 14 targeting Windows, Mac OS and Android.
Access DRM is needed but reading online tech specs (URL Adobe Access - Tech specs), there is no mention of windows 8+, Mac OS 10.8 &10.9, android 4+ support.
Can you please give us accurate information on that topic ?

Adobe Access DRM are supported on those platforms.
Basically Adobe Access requirements are same as Adobe AIR requirement.

Are the CS5.5 tech specs too low?

Looking at the CS5.5 Design Premium tech specs (http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/design/tech-specs.html) I wonder how well the software would work if installed on such a computer. The new entry level quad-core i5 iMac for example has a lot higher spec than what Adobe says is required. Is it that Adobe lists the minimum required specs and that what could be achieved with the software on such a computer would be limited?
For example, CS5.5 programs support multithreading so there should be a significant difference between how the software performs on a quad-core computer compared with a Pentium 4 or even a dual-core processor. The other concern is that it is usual for designers to have multiple programs open at once, like Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash. Surely a higher spec computer is needed to be able to work productively.
Also, wouldn't a screen size of only 12000 x 800 (as listed) be too small to work productively in CS5.5? Programs like Photoshop have many windows that would more than fill such a small screen leaving only an impractical work area.
Is it fair to say in terms of productivity and what could be achieved with CS5.5, that a new i5 quad-core 21.5" iMac (1920x1080) would be significantly better and preferred spec?

Yes, that would be fair. I use Windows most of the time and just built a new machine with an i7 processor and 16 gigs of RAM.

Hi Sri,
Tech Spec is nothing but a document containing some technical information about
the object you have developed/coded. Normally this should be prepared before you code and not the other way round.
You should mention relevant classes created / used. If you have created / added some class components like attributes/methods/events/interfaces mention that too.
You can also mention functionality to be coded in methods of the class. Please understand it is not a replica of your program but some useful technical info that the coder will use to code and later people will use for maintainance purpose.
It is better if you have some defined template for the tech spec, else just put the info in a structured and readable manner.

Where is the link that says you need a 32 bit processor? On my MBA, in the past I've ran both Office for Mac and Windows 7 (MS Office) via Parallels (Bootcamp does the same thing). I chose installing Windows 7 in the 32 bit mode ONLY because I have a couple of other legacy Windows programs that only run in 32 bit mode.

Will Photoshop still work, or are the processors listed on the tech specs just the best processors for it?

Those are minimum specs. Your i5 based machine should be fine.

There have been five iPad models: the original iPad, the iPad 2, the third generation iPad, the "iPad with Retina display" and the iPad Mini.

The original iPad and the third generation iPad have been discontinued. There is not now, nor has there ever been, an iPad 3 so if you are searching for technical specifications look for iPad (3rd generation).

Tech Spec's for Mac Mini 2.0

Having been a long time user since 1995 of several models of Windows (95, 95SE, XP HE, XP Pro, Vista Home Basic & Vista HP) desktops and notebook pc's, I have never used 'Mac' computers before, (though I DO currently use an iPad 4 and an iPhone 5 and am very impressed with these devices). I have a question as to what the standard tech specs of an Apple Mac Mini 2.0 are supposed to be. On the bottom of the casing of the white 'Mac Mini 2.0' is printed '2x512//120/SD/AP/BT - GBR' after the serial number. Is it possible to find out what the tech specs of this would be from this info?
The serial # number is YM*******YL2.
There are also 4x USB ports, 1x 'dvi' port, 1x Ethernet port and some 'other' ports that I don't recognize, below the on/off button at the back of the unit one of which must be the mains power connector. There is also a slot loading optical drive at the front.
How would the tech specs of this 'Mac Mini 2.0' compare with my current Win Vista HP desktops (Core Duo 1.6Ghz & Core2 Duo 1.6 Ghz, both with 2Gb Ram and Windows Media Centre, but only one of them having a wifi card and a 'Freeview' decoder - the one with Core2 Duo), and is there any point in trying to buy this Mac Mini from my younger brother? (What is it likely to be worth?).
He also has a previous model of Apple TV which he does not seem to use, which is at least three times the size of his 'new' Apple TV box. Is this 'old' Apple TV item worth having, and what would the specs and value of this device likely be?
Any answers very greatly appreciated.

Wow!, that sure was quick reply. So thanks for the info. Your answer confirmed what I had thought. I WAS going to ask my brother what, if anything, he was planning to do with his 'old' Mac Mini, and 'old' Apple TV, seeing as he has a new Apple TV, and a new 27" iMac, and does not appear to be using the 'old' ones at the moment.
I think perhaps, I may not bother, and just save up for either my own new Mac Mini or iMac (or a MUCH HIGHER SPEC Intel i7 /Win' 8 PC) when I have finished paying for my iPad 4 and iPhone 5. It was just an idea, since I am so sick of my Windows pc's seemingly needing full destructive recovery every three months or so, that it is doing my head in.
This is even though I check for and install the update for the Windows OS and Norton Internet Security every single day, and do a full scan with Norton Internet Security, and run Norton Utilities every couple of days, which has NEVER found anything that it has not already removed or quarantined, while PC is in use at other times.
I guess that is what happens when you (I mean I) try to get by with a 'cheap' PC instead of the one I should have bought.

Tech specs says I'm eligible for upgrade. Mac App store says I'm not. Please help

I have an older macbook pro. Model identifier 2,2. Tech specs says that I'm eligible but mac app store says that my MBP isn't. I already have Lion. This shouldn't be a problem. Please help.

If your MacBook Pro is from mid-2007 or newer, you can still download Mountain Lion.
You just have to purchase it at the App Store for $20 U.S.
