Technical Evaluation of bids from SIs for eBIZ proposals.

I am not sure if this is the right area of the forum for this preliminary question, if not, requesting mods to change the area selection.
So, we intend to evaluate a few 'technical' proposals from various System Integrators, for an Oracle EBSuite including Hyperion, ERP solution.
On the high level, the proposal comprises of the following details;
1. Proposed solution, includinh implementation modules, project phasing, CM and SI's role in it.
2. Implementation details - SI scope again for both Oracle eBS and hyperion and deliverables.
3. Acceptance criteria, Project Plan and timescale and CSFs.
Based upon above information provided by all SI's, what should be my criteria for an informed 'evaluation'.
From someone who has 'been there and done that', a first timer is seeking assistance. Any checklists, templates etc, are most welcome.

Hi,
A technical bid response is made in cFolder for a RFx response from a bidder. In other words, an acceptance of a technical bid response is for all items before proceeding to open the RFx price response in SRM. During awarding in SRM, you can select/reject the item at item level.
So in short, you cannot accept technical bid response on the item level.

Im looking for tables where the information of a Vendor bid is stored in SRM.
Especially the acceptance or rejection indicators of a BID.

You can find all the info in tables BBP_PDHGP and BBP_PDIGP for all BID relatd info.
You could also use the foll FM's :

Sorry for the delay,
I have worked in a similar integration with SRM - XI, but the only difference is that we used Proxy -- HTTPS for Purchase Order Request.
In your case it would be:
1. Create custom IDOC and Message type.
2. Find the triggering process from the SRM side, trigger the IDOC from SRM.
3. Generate the partner profile and ALE config.
4. Import the custom IDOC in XI.
5. Use a map in XI to convert the IDOC data to customer format.
6. Use HTTP adapter to connect.
7. In the HTTP adapter you can use url method or the RFC destination to do the connectivity. ( I would recommend using the RFC destination to do it.)
8. You should be receiving an acknowledgment from the customer when the document is posted at their end.
9. The response is either 200 for successful transmission. It would be 400 or 500 for errors.
10. Use the response message to do a message map with the mail adapter.
11. Generate the content of the mail adapter using the message map.
12. In the message map ideally you should use Value mapping to generate the TO and FROM data. (This enables you to change the receipients while in development and production without changing the message mappinng program.)
13. Use mail package in the Mail adapter to send the mail content to the business users.

sorry for the late late reply but I didn't notice your answer.
Here are my answers:
(1) I monitored the behaviour on the CRM system, CRM 7.0, SP5
(2) The change should be implemented in the CRM system
(3) Deactivate buffering for scenarios marketing, sale and service via SM30 and table T770MATTR.
By doing this the initial load of 3.2 million business agreements took around 2 hours, with activated scenario buffering I was at least ten times slower.
After the initial load you have to activate the buffering again.
Interesting to know would be why the scenario buffering only affects the initial load of business agreements and no other object. As far as I know the scenario buffering is relevant for the organizational management.

It is probably a test charge to see that the account you have established is valid. Apple will not pursue the charge and it will eventually drop out of the system. It is simply a technical matter.

I am using the desktop screensaver and a file from dropbox for photos. Does the list of screen savers actually use the file, or just link to it. If I delete the file from the dropbox, will the screen saver be lost?

If you are going to delete the file from Dropbox, you will need the file on your computer.
You will probably need to put the file in Library/Screen Savers

You may be having a problem with some extension or plugin that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
If you detect a faulty add-on, you should contact its author for support. You can also search for alternatives. Site filters are relatively common in the add-ons gallery: [http://addons.mozilla.org addons.mozilla.org].

To make a 24-bit AVI file in Photoshop, go to File>Export>Render Video. Then, under File Options, choose AVI from the Quicktime Export drop-down menu. Click the Settings button. Click the Settings button in the AVI Settings window. Change Compression to None, and then choose "Millions of Colors" from the Depth drop-down under Compression.
The Millions of Colors option is for 24-bit video (8-bit R+G+B channels, 8x3=24). Millions of Colors+ is for 32-bit video (24-bit video plus an 8-bit alpha channel).
