Technical issue with my Blckberry Curve 9220
I have bought this new blackberry curve 9220 3 mths back & now the handset has issues with restarting & going dead again & again. Whenever i insert my sim card in the handset it keeps on restarting & goes dead. Need urgent solution for this. Regards Viraj R 9820676377 Mumbai India

If you have any media card on your device then remove it and see if that helps.Otherwise Perform a Clean Reload of your device Software to rule out any software issue :
KB29847 : BlackBerry Desktop Software is not required to perform a clean reload of the BlackBerry Smartphone.

Memory Card Issue with my BlackBerry Curve 9300
Hello,
I have been using the memory card for more than a year. It's a SanDisk or a ScanDisk memory card. It's 8 GB. I didn't use the card that came with my BlackBerry Curve 9300 phone. I'm always trying to delete files or to copy files, most of them are music files from my laptop to the memory card via memory card reader.
Now I am encountering a message that I need to repair the memory card whenever I try to insert it to my phone again. And most of the time whenever the phone automatically repairs it, some files are corrupted or considered as a "lost chunk files".
How can I recover those files? And why did it happen or always happen in the first place?

So what I did is to copied everything to my laptop then reformatted it completely.
It kinda solved the issue but for how long will I won't be experiencing the "repair memory card" issue and the "lost chunk files" issue?
Do I need another program to reformat the memory card and not to use the one that comes with every windows computer?
Does using a memory card reader or using a memory card adapter (for the microSD card) corrupts the memory card?
I have been researching on how to completely recover the files but I'm a bit confused.
There are a lot of recovery programs out there.
Can you guys help me out here? Thanks.

I think you should try each and everyone of the solutions suggested in the link I provided, given that it covered both harware and software suggestions. And always reset the device by removing the battery whilst the device is powered-on. Leave the battery out for a minute or 2 after each step.
See if that resolves the problem.

Issues with EDGE connection - Curve 8520
Hi!!
I have been having problems with the Blackberry EDGE internet connection on my phone for the past 3 months. I thought it may be a problem with my mobile provider, Yoigo, but they have told me they don't know what's wrong and cannot fix the problem.
The connection shuts itself off randomly without warning and I no longer receive emails, fb notifications or whatsapp messages. I know that it has stopped because 'EDGE' in the top right hand corner turns to lower case 'edge'. In order to fix it I have found that I have to go to host routing table in options and re-register myself with the Blackberry Internet Service, wait for the message to tell me that I am now registered again and then wait... and wait! Sometimes it comes back after 5 mins, other times I have to re-start the device after 1 or 2 hours.
Does anyone know how I could fix this issue for good, because this happens at least twice a day now and it's driving me crazy!!

If your Connection drops frequently then it might a problem with your Carrier Network , but still you can perform those steps in a sequence :
1- Register your Handheld .
KB00510 : How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
Wait till a Registration messages comes in your message box.
2- Delete and Resend your Service Book
KB05000 : Delete the service book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account from the BlackBerry smartphone
KB02830 : Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
( Wait till a Registration Message comes in your message box for each email that you have configured on your device )
3- Then perform a battery pull restart like this while the device is powered On remove your battery wait for a min. then reinsert it back
Try it and see if that helps , If problem still Continues then to rule out any software issue you can Reload your device Software , to do that first do a backup of your device using Desktop Software , once it is done you can reload your Device OS , for help refer to this KB :

My connection has always been fine with BBM and internet, I have just changed to a smart pack called BBPACK10 where you recieve 100 minutes, 400 texts and BBM internet and emails for £10 a month. The texts and minutes are working fine on it but my BBM and internet isn't working it just doesn't have a connection does anyone know how to solve this please?

This error indicate that the problem is either with SIM account or the problem is with your Carrier Network . If you're unable to recieve the registration message then it is your Carrier who can help you in this regard . So , call your Carrier to confirm if they properly configured your account with BIS or if they were having any network issue.

I just installed Dreamweaver CS3 yesterday, and there seems
to be a device conflict with my USB mouse. When DW has focus, I am
unable to double-click, the mouse is VERY sluggish in response, and
if I try to double-click, it gives me that annoying scroll arrow
that I've already disabled.

Technical issues with update function in help menu
This is likely not the correct place, but I was not able to ascertain where I should ask this. I have the full CS6 suite, and am unable to get anything to happen when I attempt to use the update function within the help menu of any of the programs in the suite. I have even tried to use the update program that came with the suite, but still nothing works. When in the programs, I click the link listed as "updates" and nothing happens what so ever. This is a common occurance regardless of the specific program.
My system specs:
Athlon X6 CPU
16Gb ram
Radeon HD 6950 2Gb
ASrock extreme 3 mb
Hard drive is a pair of seagate 500Gb drives in RAID0 array
OS is Windows 7 Pro 64bit
Current version showing in Photoshop and Illustrator is 13.0.1Notice where it says

That's what you want. Want to see it work? "import metadata" for a database table. Open the data service that is created. Execute the function with the same name as the table. Click on the "Edit" button, change some data, click on Submit. You've done it. Re-execute the function with the same name as the table to see the modified data.
And it doesn't stop there - you can build logical data services on top of that physical data services, and when you update data in the logical data service, the changes will be propagated to the underlying physical data services.

Notes keeps duplicating an entry until there are dozens. When I try to delete them quickly, the slected entry doesn't go in order but jumps down to other entries. This happens frequently, the duplicating and I've deleted too meny important entries accidently because of this, does anyone know why this keeps happening?
Back up all data.
Check the Mail, Contacts & Calendar preference pane to make sure you're not synchronizing Notes in more than one account.
If you're not, disable Notes synchronization temporarily.
Quit Notes, if it's running.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes
Copy the whole line of text to the Clipboard (command-C).
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar. Paste into the box that opens (command-V), then press return. A Finder window should open with a folder selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop.
The folder you're moving is named "com.apple.Notes" It is not the subfolder named "Data" or anything else.
Re-enable Notes synchronization.
Relaunch Notes and test. If it works now, delete the folder you moved. Otherwise, quit again, and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place.
Caution: If you delete some or all of the contents of the selected folder, but leave the folder itself in place, the application may not launch. Deleting the folder will cause it to be rebuilt automatically. -
Technical Issue with MSI GT70 0ND-492US
I've had this issue intermittently since I bought this laptop. I have had a software issue(I believe) since I got it, and it's a bit of a nuisance, so I was wondering if you knew any fixes.When something goes full screen, or I tab out of a game, my display will not pop up. Sounds will play so the game or whatever is working, but there is no display, just a backlit black screen and I have no way to get back to having a screen aside from restarting my laptop. It's rather annoying, and I was wondering if you guys have any ideas as to what this could be.

Are you setting them to Fullscreen Windowed mode? Or fullscreen non-windowed mode? Games generally don't like alt+tab unless they are run in Windowed mode (which tends to perform worse than in non-windowed mode). -
Technical issue with deployment
I created a project into bcc.but could not do full deployment. Now while trying to delete the current project im not getting the delete option .Is der any way to delete the project from dyn admin or any other way to delete it,.
first of all you cannot do a full deployment via a project.
You need to goto ContentAdministration>Admin Console>
you ll see a "Full Deployment" button when you select the respective "Production" or "Staging" sites.
Secondly, to delete a project you can either do it via BCC or ACC
In BCC, your project needs to be at the first step or the "Author" stage.
Goto ContentAdministration>Browse projects
and select your project. Make sure its in author stage.
You ll see the delete project option in the dropdown.

Help with technical issue with JCalendar
I need to know if the date set by the JCalendar is the end of the day or the beginning. I am comparing dates within the same day and need to know what I will get when I try:
chooserDate.compareTo(anotherDate);If the chooserDate is the start of the day (00:00:00.0) the code would return a number >= 0. If the chooserDate is the end of the day (23:59:59.9) then the code would return a number <= 0.

Technical issues with Apple maps (visibility, routes)
I am finding the arial views extremely unclear. For example, my house (Katsushika-ku, Tokyo) cannot be made out at all. Is there any way of cleaning this up?
Also, it's practically a straight line (just one turn) from my house to Shinkoiwa station (the nearest train station). But Apple maps has me going in a funny zig-zag pattern, and then walking all the way around the station for some reason to enter from the south entrance. I don't suppose there is any fix for that, is there?

Curve 9220 - scroll issue only while viewing emails
Hello,
Facing an issue with my new Curve 9220. When I go into any email, and I scroll upwards - cursor hangs at the subject line. And then it (cursor) stops moving at all.
No issue while scrolling through menu items or any other stuff. It's only the emails.
Appreciate if someone can help me with this, if they have faced a similar issue.

Issue with Blackberry Curve 9220
Hi,
I have a problem with the blackberry curve 9220 joy stick or laser (do not know what to call it exactly - phone terminology). I could see the laser light while switching the phone ON and then later it disappears. Due to this I'm unable to navigate the screen through the joy stick. This is becoming very difficult to make phone calls nor for any usage per say. Is there something wrong and needs an urgent attention?
+ I agree about 3 months ago the phone fell into a mug of water and after a day it worked with no problem till date.. Need your help and insights to see if I can put the phone to sleep and buy another one.....

Up until that point, I thought that I would have useful advice for you...but that information changed everything. There were steps to try ("the rice trick"), but they needed to be done 3 months ago...too late now. Applying power to your BB between it getting wet and doing those processes reduces the chances of success. Further, the only thing predictable about moisture intrusion into a BB (indeed, any electronic device) is that the results will be unpredictable. I've seen some come back up right away and be fine. I've seen others never work at all. I've seen still others run for a bit, and then die later (which sounds like your situation). And everything in between.
