Technical Issues Message When Trying To Submit My Podcast Feed
I have been trying to submit my podcast feed to the itunes store since monday and every time I get a message saying there is a technical issue and please try again later.
I sent an email off to apple to find out about this and options offered in the reply haven't worked either! I have had the podcast on itunes before but the site I was hosting it at back in the day (Mevio) decided to remove everything on its site, hence my original feed sat doing nothing and was then removed from the iTunes store, I have recently found a site that offered everything I was looking for (Podcasts.com) and signed up.
I posted my first show on Monday but now I have the issue of iTunes constantly telling me there is a Technical Issue and to try again later which I have repeatedly.
I even tried running my feed through feedburner and still nothing, I have changed the title of both the podcast and the show name like was suggested in the email from apple and still it wouldn't take. Its starting to get on my nerves now since I want to get my podcast back on iTunes.
Can anyone offer up any advice or suggestions on how I can sort this out!?
The feed can be successfully subscribed to manually in iTunes. There are a few minor issues with the feed which I wouldn't have expected to cause a problem, but the Store can be more touchy than the application.
You should have this as the first line in your feed:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
You have far too many words in the 'keywords' tag in your episode - the maximum is twelve.
Your 'itunes:duration' tag reads
<itunes:duration>81</itunes:duration>
which is meaningless, though the Store might read it as 81 seconds and play only that amount of your episode. It should have the duration in the format hh:mm:ss, e.g. 0:26:42
I wouldn't have expected any of these to be fatal, though you should address them. It may be that you've hit a glitch in the Store - it's been known - so when you've corrected the errors try again.

5002 Error when trying to submit my Podcast
Everytime I try and submit my podcasts feed url(http://feeds.feedburner.com/controller1gaming) and after I type in and try to log in with my login info right after it always gives me an error which reads:
"We could not complete your iTunes store request. An unknown error occured (5002).
There was an error in the iTunes store please try again later."
I have since installed iTunes on 2 of my other computers and got the same problem on all 3 computers, as well as on 3 different log in accounts (all registered to the same billing info).
I have no idea what to do to fix this, I searched and found that many people have had this same error however none of them related it to submitting a podcast, almost all of them dealt with downloading itunes music and getting this error (I never buy/download anything but podcasts on iTunes).
So if anyone has any idea how to fix this, or can please give me a link to where I would contact itunes about this, or better yet a telephone number to call in the US it would be grealty appreciated.I tried something else just now, in an attempt to see if the problem was perhaps having something to do with me registering and burning my podcast on my computer using feed burner I had a friend make his own feedburner account, and burn my podcast feed from wordpress. He still got the error (and we are talking about someone else on the other side of the united states).
So some new conclusions:
-I have tried using multiple feedburner accounts, one even not even registered by me myself, error occurs.
-I have tried using wordpress and blogger as two different sites to take the feed url from when burning to feedburner, still got error.
-I have used ourmedia as well as archive.org as my mp3 hosts and still got the error.
My conclusion? I seem to be running out of ideas really, the onlything I have not tried but would like to would be having someone register their own ourmedia account, upload my mp3, register their own wordpress blog and put my mp3 on there, and then burn that wordpress feed on feedburner and try submitting the feedburner link to itunes, that is really the only idea I have left (by doing that it basicaly voids out any interuption I might be causing on my home computers somewhere along the lines).
If someone where who is successfuly able to submit podcasts to itunes and wants to help me out in my idea vplease respond here with your email adress, (best option as I dont check my mail often) or if you use AIM my screen name is ReverieGamer.
I am truly beginning to believe that this is a problem with itunes now however I cannot be sure (I have even installed a slightly older version of itunes on my pc and tried and still a no go) -

Itunes is saying the is technical difficulties when trying to submit a podcast
hello, i am currently submitting my second podcast to itunes, and the feed is valid i have used numerous validators to check and they say it is working fine, the url for the feed is "http://feeds.feedburner.com/DBTheGlitch" i have checked the name and everything is not taken, but itunes constantly responds with technical difficulties any possible help?
my first podcast went through successfully but this one is not doing as well
podcast information -
Title
Digit Blast's The Glitch Podcast
current number of episodes - 1 (pilot episode)'Technical difficulties' is pretty vague but it may be server difficulties at the Store end: you could give it bit and try again, perhaps after the weekend (this sort of problem seems more common over weekends).
Your feed can be subscribed to OK in iTunes, and basically is OK.
Your media file URL has spaces in it: these are not allowed in a URL - as the feed is correctly substituting the code %20 for each space this isn't actually a problem, but it's bad practice and better avoided. The usual workaround is to use underscores instead of spaces. -
Am I missing something when trying to fix a podcast feed issue?
Hi!
I've been working on this problem for about a month and I feel like I might be missing something obvious at this point. So, I post it here in the hopes that one of you might be able to offer a suggestion on how I can fix my dilemma.
About a month ago I launched a second podcast on my website (wordpress/blubrry) and set up the 301 redirect as was recommended. After several weeks the podcast feed wasn't updating on the iTunes directory even though I could see that the 301 redirect was working. So, a few days ago I decided to go back and just keep things the way they originally were and took out the redirect and disabled my category podcast feed. On my feed it is back to it's original settings, but iTunes is still not updating the feed after several days.
Here is information on my podcast:
House Flipping HQ
https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/house-flipping-hq-podcast/id730653890?mt=2
The feed which was originally confirmed in the email from iTunes when our podcast launched last year was this:
Dear podcast owner,
Your podcast, located at http://houseflippinghq.com/feed/podcast/, has been approved. You should expect to see it on the iTunes Store within the next few hours. When it's available, you will be able to access it with the URL below.
If you go to that feed you should see that it is working correctly.
I have tried almost every day for the past month to figure out why this isn't working but to no avail. Is there anything I might be missing or overlooking in my process? If you have any thoughts they would be most welcome.
Cheers!
- MarkTo check the feed in use: go to the iTunes Store in iTunes itself (not the web page that comes up first from the link - click 'View in iTunes') to the page for your podcast and click the 'Subscribe' button.
Then go to the 'Podcasts' section to view your podcast: control-click (Mac) or right-click (Windows) on the title of your podcast (left column in 'My Podcasts' view or the main entry in List view) and choose 'Copy podcast URL'.
If you have the 'itunes:new-feed-url' tag in place this will show the feed being redirected to but doesn't prove that the Store has yet updated which it will do the first time it checks the feed after the tag has been inserted. -

Just recently I am getting the following error message when trying to access web sites. I am using Firefox browser version 10.0.2. I get a pop up window stating "Exc in ev handl: TypeError: c.location is null" as the web site page is being displayed in browser winder. Then I have to click ok. It doesn't matter what web link/site I go to it happens. It is an issue with some plug-in?
I have advised McAfee's product team of the problem and this thread, and they're looking into it now.

I receive an error message when trying to link my iMessage account to my Apple ID. My phone syncs fine, just my Macbook doesn't work. Same issue with Facetime.
HI,
In effect this is a DNS block.
You can do it.
You need to be in an Admin Mac User Account that has non blank password.
Go to the Applications/Utilities folder and open Terminal.
You should see your shortname (the one under the Little House icon) followed by the $ symbol
Copy and paste the bold text below into Terminal after the $ symbol.
sudo pico /etc/hosts
This will load the file "hosts" into and editor that works in Terminal.
Use the arrow keys to get to the line with Verisign in it.
Now type the # symbol and it will be added in front of the character that is highlighted.
The # symbol is either Shift +3 or ALT+ 3 depending on your keyboard layout
Now use CTRL and O keys together.
This Saves the changes.
Quit Terminal.

Byte-range request issue when trying to submit - hosted on Tindeck, is this the issue?
Hi there,
I'm trying to submit a podcast, but having a few issues. It's the first time I've tried to do this and I'm geting a little confused with all the jargon - and there was me thinking I was pretty tech-savvy!
I've set up a Wordpress.com blog (http://every80smovie.wordpress.com/) and then set up a feed on Feedburner (http://feeds.feedburner.com/every80smovie) from that. My audio mp3s are hosted on Tindeck - the first episode can be found at http://tindeck.com/listen/xryo, but I used the Wordpress audio code to place an embedded player on the blog page that links to the Tindeck download link.
From what I can see there are a number of podcasts that seem to host on Tindeck and are listed on iTunes - however, whenever I try to submit my podcast I'm told that the episodes are on a server which doesn't support byte-range requests. I'm guessing Tindeck does because of the other podcasts on there, but I'm now getting really bemused.
I can subscribe to my podcast using the Advanced tab on iTunes, so I know that side works. Can anybody help at all? Does anybody have any experience with Tindeck?
Thanks in advance,
BenWhen your episode URL is entered in the address bar of a browser it downloads the file; although this works OK in the iTunes application when subscribing, downloading sometimes works in the Store and sometimes doesn't. Really you should provide a direct link to the file which when enter it in a browser, plays in the browser. I don't know whether Tindeck offers this as an alternative.
Testing for byte-range requests doesn't suggest this is handled - as it's downloading it probably wouldn't in any case. Byte range requests, which consists of requesting parts of the file at a time rather than the whole thing, is the method used by the iPhone and Apple have made it mandatory for new podcasts; if they detect that your server doesn't handle it they will reject your submission. (Other podcasts using Tindeck may have been up before this came into force, or perhaps they've found a way to get Tindeck to serve the files properly.) -
Technical Difficulties Message when submitting my RSS URL
I keep trying to submit my RSS feed URL to iTunes and I keep getting the message "We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later." Is this really something on iTunes end or is something wrong with my RSS file?
http://heybirdyproductions.goodbaitdev.com/heybirdy.xmlWell, I can't see any problem with the feed, and the episode media file is correctly referenced and plays. Incidentally you do have a 'copyright' tag - it says 'Wippenberg'.
When a podcast feed is rejected, corrected and resubmitted there is a minor bug in the Store which causes you to be told that the podcast has already been submitted (which is true but irrelevant - it's really meant to prevent duplicates). To get round this you need to make a small change to the title - for example you could add a hyphen and space before 'Podcast'. You can always change it back once it's been accepted.
The other issue might be the content. The reason given for rejection tends to be technical issues, whatever the actual reason is. I haven't listened to your podcast, so I can't comment directly. Possible reasons for rejection are unacceptable content, sexual content or strong language when the 'explicit' tag is not said to 'yes', and copyright infringement: a lot of people fall over this one by including 'mixes' or indeed full plays of commercially issued recordings without having written permission from the copyright owners or alternatively a valid Podcast Licence (not available in all countries, possibly only the USA). I have no idea whether this might be an issue with yours. -
Server error in communication when trying to submit a formscentral form?
What does it mean when one of my form users gets a "server error in communication" when trying to submit a form. The saving function worked just fine. Help this is my first form!
Thanks! It is a rather generic error message that can occur for a number of reasons. Further details are needed to pinpoint an exact cause. Do you know if your user can submit now? There was service outage earlier this week that may have caused the problem. Other issues are browser security settings, company or individual firewall setting, or actual bugs to out product. If you could get more information from your user such as their Operating System and version, browser version, if the error is still occuring, when the error occurred that would be helpful.
Some things your user can try in the mean time is clearing their browser cache, restarting their browser or trying a different browser.

Unknown Error (-4) when trying to submit podcast RSS feed
I have been having this problem for two days now. I'm trying to submit the RSS feed://www.toikids.com/physicians/peds.xml to the store and I get the following error message every time.
We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-4). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later.
I get his message when using http:// and feed://. I have validated the feed and have tested it in iTunes and in my browser, so I know its not the feed. I haven't found anything about "unknown error -4" either. Any suggestions?
I'm using iTunes 8.1.1 (10) if that matters.Seems like Apple is at least aware of the issue. I got this response from Apple Support:
+I'm sorry this error message is persisting. Apparently there is an issue with submitting podcasts today and Apple is working hard to correct it.+
+I recommend waiting until tomorrow to try submitting again and replying to this email by Tuesday if the error happens again.+
+I know this is an inconvenience and for that I sincerely apologize. I appreciate your patience with this, Jeff!+
Sincerely,
Kev

Error message when trying to view/print Crystal reports in B1
I get the following Error message when trying to view/print crystal reports in SAP B1/Crystal Reports Integration Tool for SAP Business One:
" Could not load file or assembly 'Crystal Decisions Windows Forms, version=12.0.2000.0, Culture=neutral, Public Key Token=692fbea551e1304' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. ????Hi
Common issues for this :
1. Once you install crystall add on ,you need to go to Crystal report Administration >Account setup .
Put on the user name and password and click on creating ext tables
Try then running the report .
If not the case ,
make sure you install runtime .
You need :
1.Crystal report basic from SAP download -(Not necessary if you want only report viewer >
2.You need to have crystal integration addon (I think service pack is SP1)
3.Make sure you have runtime install
When you are installing ,make sure you restart your PC before you do or remove temporary file s
Hope this solves your issue
