Technical Manual for TX 2000

Good day to you!
My technician is about to fit a new keyboard to my HP Pavilaion Tx2000. Where can he find a technical manual - electronically or otherwise?
Kind regards,

  • Is there anywhere a technical manual for the NB100 ?

Is there anywhere a technical manual for the NB100 ?
I want to replace my internal harddisk with a bigger one and don´t want to destroy anything so a manual for the best way to open the NB100 would be a good thing :-)
    cola

The upgrade is not that hard. There is no need to completely disassemble the unit. Remove the screws from the underside, then remove the cover at the top of the keyboard (the cover with the on/off switch on). Remove the screws from under the cover and then remove the keyboard, gently unclipping the ribbon. unclip the ribbon for the touchpad and the wireless aerials (x2). At this stage the HDD is accessible on the left side, remove the screws and gently pull the HDD out.
Once the new drive is fitted, reverse the procedure. I had no option but to replace mine, as I was on an overseas trip when the Toshiba HDD failed (the system was saying I had no HDD fitted) and as I had only taken the NB100 with me I had no choice if I wanted a working laptop for the trip, I stripped my external HDD and fitted it into the NB100, I now have a NB100 with a 250 GB HDD and it's perfect.

  • Need Technical Manual for Satellite P200-18Z

I require a manual with detailed information of the hardware in this notebook.
I am compiling a hardware particular kernel for FreeBSD.
I will be very thankful for this information and I will post my configuration on BSD specific forums so that other people may use it.

    Hi
Such technical manuals that you mean are not for public and are only available tor ASPs and Toshiba because on the Toshiba website I can only download the user manual.
But for hardware informations you dont need a service manual. You can find enough informations in user manual or if you search with Google as Akuma suggested.
Furthermore if you have installed XP or Vista you can use a hardware information tool, like PC Wizard 2008 or Everest.
I hope I could help you a little bit.

  • FrameMaker output to Flex for creation of Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs)

    Hello,
Does anyone know if it's possible to output a Structured FrameMaker 8 book to Flex 3.
I would like to convert standard technical manuals that are produced using Structured FrameMaker to Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) based on 40051-1 (Army) and 38784 (Air Force) military standards.
Are there any plans to hook Flex 3 into the Technical Communication Suite (like Captivate and RoboHelp) or not? If not, then this may be something to add to the wish list.
Overall I think this would make a lot of sense as one could convert or re-spin legacy manuals and output to a Rich Internet Application (RIA) via Flex 3.
Your comments are very much appreciated.
    Regards,
    Jim

    Hi Amy...
Well .. you should become familiar with the Structure Application Developers Guide (PDF installed in your FM/docs folder) .. this has all of the info you'll need.
You're on the right track .. it sounds like you're doing the right thing. After using Open DTD, you should end up with an EDD (or the start of one). If there are errors in this import process, you'll need to resolve the errors before you can continue. Many times you'll need to make tweaks to the EDD to get certain element types properly set up (tables are often a problem). You'll also need to make adjustments to the EDD so that certain elements are rendered in a useful way (empty elements may need to be a marker). For a complex DTD, there's often a lot of work to make the needed tweaks. This will also involve setting up a read/write rules file, as well as a template. At a minimum the structure application consists of an EDD, rules file, and template.
It's likely that someone else is also working on developing a structure app for this DTD, you might post a query asking specifically about that.
This process of making a structure app from a DTD can be bit of work, but keep in mind that once you're finished and are able to open the XML files in Frame, you're basically ready to print (assuming you've set up your template with meaningful styles). If you use other XML editors, you'll be able to open the files right away and start editing, but in order to print, you've got to do a lot of work. It's basically a tradeoff .. and from what I've seen the FM approach is typically less work in the long run.
BTW .. where does one find this DTD? I made a quick Google search and found the MIL-STD-40051 specification, but no DTD. I'd be interested in checking this out, can you point me at it?

  • Manual For Indigo iBook

Does anyone know how I might obtain a manual (online or physical) for an Indigo 366/iBook? The only original iBook manual I can find here is the one for the original blueberry and tangerine iBooks.

    Rick,
For technical details online see this site.
Here is the upgrade guide for the 'Paris' clamshells.
If you want the full technical manual; click here.
I can't find an electronic copy of the consumer-level manual though. Personally I don't thing you're missing anything. These manuals assist you in connecting the power supply and switching the Mac on and little more.
(I have the sales spec sheet in PDF form - I downloaded this just before I ordered my iBook 466 back in 2000 - if you want I'll email it to you.)

  • Where can I find instructions or manual for using Premier elements 12?

Looking for instructions or manual for using Premier Elements 12. Has Photoshope Elements 7 and Premier Elements 7. I had saved projects which I now cannot retrieve into the 12 versions.

    bone
I have Photoshop Elements 7 and Premiere Elements 7 on Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 bit as well as on Windows 8 64 bit. All is well.
With your Photoshop Elements 7 your Windows 7, what do the Performance numbers look like under Full Editor, Edit Menu/Preferences/Performance?
My Windows 7 64 bit has the Windows XP compatibility mode. Due to the results from some of my recent maneuvers, I wonder about your thoughts of installing Photoshop Elements 7 on the Windows XP Mode side and gaining access to it from the Windows 7 side. You may loss the integration perks of Photoshop Elements 7 and Premiere Elements 7 since they technically will be on different operating systems.
I will explain next time if necessary how that type of idea backfired on me recently with my long standing problem of trying to get Photoshop Elements 12 Full Editor to open in my Windows 7 64 bit desktop.
    More later.

    Hello!
Let me know can I get a technical specification for MC007ZE/A. Our organization is going to buy a big batch of these displays. For this we need a technical specification. I've found out this document http://manuals.info.apple.com/MANUALS/1000/MA1554/en_US/LED_Cinema_Display_27-in ch_UG.pdf but it does't containt the number 'MC007ZE/A'. This paper formality associated with the features of our supplier.

Click here for information; the ZE and LL are country codes which don't affect the model's specifications.

ver. 10.7.3: 2.4 GHz core 2 Duo with 4 GB of DRAM.
    I have three questions:
    1. Where can I find the manual for my machine i.e. hardware manual and or consumer/connaisseur manual?
    2. Does it have a zip media drive? I'm looking at the left side of the machine and I see small square shaped slot for a disk of this sort. I know this is a common type of media storage for cameras and would like to confirm that it is zip.
    3. And while i'm at it, could you remind me of the uses of the two ports advancing towards the back of the computer next to the USB inputs.
PS: I'm also interested in any technical information concerning Apple hardware and if you could direct me to the appropriate forums I would appreciate it.
    Thank you in advance.

I will dubb the theme of this thread: the mass storage data problem and by problem I mean how can we store data in the most cost-efficient and efficacious manor possible if we can classify data storage strategies into two groups respectively: 1) the individual stragegy and 2) the corporate stragegy. The individual, we will say, is rational and seeks to store as much data as possible in the megabyte range, the gigabyte range and the terabyte range. How will he or the corporation, of conglomerate, large, mid-size or start-up size i.e. 2 - 200 people procede. Please feel free to enhance the dialog of this post in the framework of the corporate schema vs. individual and change the estimations, exp: 2 -200, to fit a realistic scenario of what i'm trying to evoke here.
    I'll start of with
MB range = 4 GB Lexar standard USB bought at Dwain Reed (note: this is just a starting point to provoke dialog and don't intend this as a suggestion)
GB range = the portable hard drive at the suggestion of Michael Black of NC
TB range = tape media, at my suggestion that older devices could be used to read the data where an external hard-drive could be used as an intermediary component to transfer data to newer devices, say the portable hard-drive of Mr. Black and an internal-hard drive which is standard in an older machine. We will say that the labor/work required to remove either is irrelevant as our time is assumed to be worthless within reasonable bounds.

Again, iBA doesn't provide change controls for revision tracking - that would be up to you to manage manually. Did you look at Doxygen yet?
Checked the Mac App Store and the Creating ePubs forum yet?

  • Workshop Manual for a car - in japanese and PDF format - Need to translate to english

I have a 600+ page PDF document of a technical workshop manual for a car written in Japaense that I would like to have translated into english.
How do  do this so that I keep the tecnical drawing high resolution and make it easy for the english text to be added in by the translator??

    Thanks in advance

Acrobat is not meant as a general file editing application, and much less a little Translator Helper.
I take it you don't need help with the translating, but rather with a workflow of how to get the translated text on the correct place on each page. Forget Acrobat. I think I would simply place the original PDF in InDesign, then put the translated texts into text frames on the correct positions, and finally crop the original PDFs to remove the Japanese text at the sides.
Of course there are any number of possible complications, such as
    - how are you going to identify which English text goes into what position?
    - what if there is text inside a picture, possibly even over part of it?
By the way, PDFs are a lousy way to hand over a job like this. You should ask your client for original, editable files. In the best case they come in a format that you can edit with the proper software (which, as alluded to above, does not include Acrobat); in a slightly worse case, you can lift out the original images and re-use these.

    Hello:
I am in the process of converting our quick reference guides
into online help using Robohelp 7. The Director of our Product
Development and Applications group wants to review a technical
manual on the product. Is there technical documentation available?

    Hi Patricia
As for the folders and files, consider everything you find in
the WebHelp folder to be needed. Yes, you will find some files that
aren't used. The thing is, WebHelp has some built in fall backs.
Some of the files are needed in case it switches from one display
method to another. Weeding out what isn't needed for certain
situations will likely take far more time (and time is money) than
it will "cost" in additional disk space if you just accept what is
    there.
As for the calls you need to make to establish links, there
is more on that at the link below.
