Technical: Port Forward Does Not Show Requesting IP Properly
I have a server that blocks failed attempts to login via FTP but after my switch to the AEBS, I realized that when the unit forwards requests through to my server, it forwards the request from the router's IP itself of 192.168.1.1 instead of showing the IP number of the requesting entity. As such, when my server goes to block the failed login, it blocks my router entirely, which prevents any legitimate logins from working unless I remove the 192.168.1.1 address from the blocklist on my server. Is there some kind of way to adjust the AEBS to show the appropriate IP number during the port forwarding process?

I figured it out. I'm trying to access the port from my work network and the firewalls are blocking the outbound traffic on that port. I just tried an accessing the iport from my mobile phone and I was able to get a reply. So the lesson learned is try and access the ip/port from another network because there may be a firewall blocking your access.

Port forwarding - Macbook not showing up in computer field
I'm trying to forward a port in my d-link control panel. I have to select which computer on the network to do so...there are two pc's, one desktop, one laptop & then my Mac. They are both showing in the drop down box, my Macbook is not. I'm connected to the internet fine...I'm unsure why my computer is not showing up & I need to select it, I believe, for the port forwarding.
Any ideas?Port forwarding is generally done at the router level not the computer level. The router forwards all incoming/outgoing traffic for the port to the IP address specified - the given machine address as displayed by Network preferences.

Airport Ext. Port Forwarding does not work
I am trying to open up UDP ports 500, 1701, and 4500 to point to my local computer since i'm using iVPN. However, Airport doesn't seem to want to open these up. I disabled Mobile Me as per the support document I found and still having issues.
I want to be able to VPN via my iPhone and/or MacBook Pro into my home network.
My Mac Mini is running 10.6.5 with all the latest updates. My Airport Ext has the Wireless N with latest updates as well.
Any help appreciated. I have spent over 2 hours searching on google and could not find any documents that actually got this to work.To setup port mapping on an 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn), either connect to the AEBSn's wireless network or temporarily connect directly, using an Ethernet cable, to one of the LAN port of the AEBSn, and then use the AirPort Utility, in Manual Setup, to make these settings:
1. Reserve a DHCP-provided IP address for the iVPN device.
Internet > DHCP tab
o On the DHCP tab, click the "+" (Add) button to enter DHCP Reservations.
o Description: <enter the desired description of the host device>
o Reserve address by: MAC Address
o Click Continue.
o MAC Address: <enter the MAC (what Apple calls Ethernet ID if you are using wired or AirPort ID if wireless) hardware address of the iVPN host computer>
o IPv4 Address: <enter the desired IP address>
o Click Done.
2. Setup Port Mapping on the AEBSn.
Advanced > Port Mapping tab
o Click the "+" (Add) button
o Service: <ignore this for now; it will change to Custom once you start entering values>
o Public UDP Port(s): 500, 1701, 4500
o Public TCP Port(s): 1723
o Private IP Address: <enter the DHCP-Reserved IP address you created earlier>
o Private UDP Port(s): 500, 1701, 4500
o Private TCP Port(s): 1723
o Click "Continue" -
CSV output does not show speacial characters properly

I scheduled a report to generate csv output. Data contains some Czech, French, German characters which are not coming properly in csv. But if generate excel output, I can see it comes properly.
Please help me to resolve. I can not give long instructions to the users to use Import data options, define encoding etc.(available in MSexcel) while open the csv file in order to get coorect characters.
Kind Regards.UTF-8 encoding is used for CSV output and please make sure you open it in UTF-8 encoding mode of your editor.

Recently, U2 music appeared on my ipod without my requesting it or wanting it. I was able to delete all of the songs except for one. How do I delete the last one from my ipod? The song does not show up in iTunes when I plug my ipod into the computer. The version installed on my ipod is 7.1.2(11D257).

I have a honda civic with USB port which allows play back of my old iPhone 4 and 4s. With the new iPhone 5 the radio shows the phone is conected but does not show any music content. Any Suggestions?
You should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup. If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup. You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone. However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.

After a check on compatibility of Add Ons by FF after opening it, it stopped working. I re installed FF and the same happened. Nexus 7009 does not show the N7K-F248XP-25 modules ethernet ports n sh run

I have a question...
I going to install two Nexus 7009 with three N7K-F248XP-25 modules on each one, I am planning to create 3 VDC, but at the initial configuration the system does not show the Ethernet ports of these modules, even with the show inventory and show module I can see that the modules are recognized and its status is OK. There is something that I have to do before start to configure these modules...? enable some feature or license in order to see the ports with show running CLI...?You can enable F1, F2, M1, M1XL and M2XL Series modules. There are no restrictions on the type of mix allowed for the system module-type command. The system module-type command allows a mix of F1, F2, M1, M1XL, and M2XL Series modules in the VDC.
Note The limit-resource module-type command controls the restrictions on the module-types that can be mixed in the VDC.
Note Use the system module-type f2 command to allow F2E Series modules into a VDC. The ports from F2 and F2E Series modules can be allocated like any other ports.
Note The modules that you do not enable must not be powered on after you configure this feature and enter yes. An error message will force you to manually disable these modules before proceeding. This prevents major disruption and service issues within a VDC.
The no form of this command resets the configuration mode to allow all modules.

After update to IOS 6.0, on the iPhone 4 and 4s, emails can not be forwarded. I tried to resync, but the update does not show the forwarding buttons anymore.
Have the same issues here, 3GS 5.0.1. Did you find any solutions until today ?

I have a airport wifi the small one with one port for modem. My Problem is airport wifi works fine however when I power off my IMac then power it up later on It does not show a connection I then have to manual do it my self it's a pain and never happened before I have tried resetting the airport unit but still no luck please help.

System Preferences>Network, click on the little gear at the bottom next to the + & - icons, (unlock lock first if locked), choose Set Service Order.
The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.
Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed. -
Reply/forward to a message from iPhone, Outlook does not show status
If you reply to a message from iPhone, Outlook does not show status (if replied or forwarded the message). The iPhone indicates the reply/forward icon however in Outlook I would have no idea if I responded to that message.
You're right. Had not noticed it before. Hopefully Apple will fix this in one of their future releases.

Focusrite Saffire does not show up when connected to Imac by Firewire 800
When I connect my focusrite saffire to my i7 imac 27" via the firewire 800 port, the device does not show up on the computer, however it does light up indicating it is being powered off the firewire. When I click on "about this mac<more info<firewire", all I see is this " Maximum Speed: Up to 800 Mb/sec", I have checked and my "AppleFWAudio" file is up to date. The Focusrite uses Firewire 400 but I use an adaptor which converts it to 800, I have tried different adapters and cables from a number of companies which were suggested by Focusrite themselves and none of them worked.
Any ideas on what the problem could be?I too was having problems connecting my Focusrite Saffire to my new iMac 27" i7. It would light up and click several times, but it would never be in a ready state w/ both LINE indicators being green. The Saffire Control software would say the the Saffire DSP didn't load and to unplug it and re-plug and wait for the lights to turn green, but that never happened. I called Sweetwater (where I bought the unit) and they didn't seem to know of any prevailing issues, BUT the tech did suggest to reboot the iMac in 32 bit mode (hold down the '3' and '2' keys during startup). I did that and replugged the Saffire but it exhibited the same problem. I unplugged it and left it for like 3 minutes then reattached the firewire cable and it mounted. I opened up the Sound preferences and was able to select it and get sound out of it. I then opened DP and ran a quick test and it worked as well. The next test was to reboot into 64 bit mode. I did that while the Saffire was still connected and it actually stayed mounted and connected upon reboot. I have my System Sound output running through it right now and its still working. I haven't tried DP yet, but will do that later. I'm not going to reboot again until I hear back from Focusrite. I sent in a help request last night.

Field Explorer in Crystal Reports does not show the same names as Bex Query

I have crystal reports, I can retrieve data from BW Bex Query. But in the field explorer it does not show the names as in the Bex query designer.
In the Bex query designer a field will have the following technical name 0Debitor and the description is Customer.
It shows in crystal reports in the field explorer twice as D[0DEBITOR]D and D[0DEBITOR]D. It also does not seperate key figures and characteristics.
I would like it to display the field explorer as shown in this blog.

make sure you are using the MDX Driver and what happens is that you will see several fields per characteristic. example: one for the key, one for the description, several if modelled for the display attributes

PS gallery linked to Dreamweaver does not show up once on pub. server
i created a photoshop gallery and linked it to my website (Dreamweaver) under construction (as im learning); it shows up fine when i preview it on browser from my computer location, however, it does not show up once on the public server. any help as to the direct problem with this link/file/coding, etc... would be greatly appreciated....

Report does not show data , but data exists in the cube.
Hi All,
I have a situation where I could not show the data in the report. When I load data from an extractor 0CO_OM_WBS_1 into a Cube directly I am able to show the data in my report. When I load the same extractor to a DSO and from the DSO when I load it into the Cube, the data does not show up in the query. To check the data I use the same restriction and could see the data reside in the cube (LISTCUBE). I compressed the requests, still it is not showing up in the query. No aggregates create on the cube.
It shows the data if I load directly from the extractor, but not when I load data thru DSO.
Any ideas.

data is loaded succesfully and i can see data in CUBE ( Manage ), when i am running the repory i am not getting data.
