Technical specifications for adding a field in screengroup

Hi ,
I have a view profile say FL .  In the activity and layout view I have added a Tab say "85" -Additional data 3- . Now I have made tab active and used 150 ans screen group "150-USER data"
I want developer to add a new cusom filed in screen group 150-user data .
Specification for field is ready .
Question is
1) How to know which table this screen group 150-user data belongs to so that developer can add it there ? Or is there any other method of specification .
2)I wil be using this field in equipment also . However in equipment I would like to control data orgin from FL or  individual maintenance . How to enable this feature in custom fields of equipment master data .

Normally the user defined fields are filled through the user exit and the user exit documentaion would help you in identifying which core table needs to be extended to include the custom fields.Have a look at the same for help.
1) In your case the custom fields needs to included to EQUI or IFLOT or EQUZ or ILOA depending upon your business needs.Have a look at the user exit (ITOB0001 )help for detailed documentation.
2). It would probably require additional coding to accomplish this requirement(Visibility of transfer or individual maintenance for these custom fields), but it should be possible through the same user exit and or save user exit (IEQM0003 Additional checks before updating equipment).

The bank account for China has greater than 18 characters which is the maximum limit for bank account field. Based on note 96624, we are suggested to maintain the exceeding amount into the "Reference Specifications for Bank Details" field. However, when I run the payment on F110, IDOC do not generate the reference field.
           How can the bank reference field be included in the IDOC?

    Hi Auro,
    You use use EDI_DC-SNDSAD field, currently this field is used no where.
    If you not sure where to see double control record and click address info tab
    you can use either field receiver or sender.
    For testing use WE19 transaction and pass your paymethod to following field
    and then inform to EDI Mapper that your sending paymethod in this field.
    For them this field is very easy to grab.

    then the tcode it will trigger there and we can debugg there we can find badi'for that tcode and then remove the break point.
    2)Goto to tcode->status->program name->double click on that program will display's
    then  press crtl+F then cl_exithandler

  • Product Specification or Technical Specification for a HP G6000 laptop?

    Does anyone have or know where I might find the Product Specification or Technical Specification for a HP G6000 laptop? I'm particularly interested in the hard drive installed. My daughters laptop HD has crashed so I can't even boot it up to find the HD spec., and although I have removed it, I find it is a Toshiba HDD2D62 120GB Sata 2.5". I can't find a similar one anywhere or a website that provides a suitable compatible HD. Any suggestions anyone?

    The laptop is probably a SATA I one so SATA (not SATA II)  hard drives should work on the laptop. I believe that any SATA hdd up to 160GB should work.

    Our EP consultant left without delivering Technical Specification. Now, we need to prepare this document mainly for handover to support team. Coming from BW background, I have little knowledge on what is expected in the document.
    What I can think of at the moment are that we need to document the followings:
    1. Portal Content structure
    2. iViews Configuration
    3. Portal Display
    Is there anything else missing? Or can someone share with me the structure of a complete Enterprise Portal Technical Specification?

    That's a rather unfortunate situation that you have walked into where the implementer has left without documentation.
    I would start the document with a blueprint diagram of the platform landscape, with each of the logical instances purposes described. You should include the OS and DB versions and any specifics on security zoning you may have. Then move into a diagram for transport flows and description of the purpose of the Portal. i.e. used for BI and ESS/MSS scenarios.
    Also I would describe the integration with the solution, how security is provided, what other components are integrated (i.e. document repositories), how transports are performed (CTS, NWDI etc) and what systems are connected and SLD connectivity. Also mention UWL and Adobe services if they are deployed and anything else that represents significant usage.
    After this point you can dig deeper into the detail and provide a description of the details of the business packages with versions you have deployed to the portal (use the NWA to look up package versions if you donu2019t know this already) along with the name spaces and PCD hierarchy that has been chosen to ensure standards are followed during maintenance by the support team.
    Remember your support staff should be starting with at a minimum a basic understanding of standard SAP Portal implementations so getting to the detail of how each iView is configured would be taking the document too far.
    Your purpose of the document is in providing the framework for support to be able to know what standards they should follow and how to quickly find out the implementation specific details. This should be your objective.
    Starting this from scratch without any portal experience is not advisable, I would suggest you engage another Portal consultant to perform the task as familiarity with the core solution is really a must.

  • Reinit/Reload for added/changed fields in PO line item and GL ODS

    Hi all,
    Probably this is usual process in SAP BW.
    I have changed 2Lis_item data source and added few fields in 0Pur_o1 ods.
    In ods there is data from 2006 to till date.
    Now I have to move my changes to Production system. I have to delete and reload compele data again then only I will get values for added fields.
    Similar way I have changed 0fi_gl datasource and added few new fields in GL field.
    What is the best approach I should follow to get all history data with all new values and start delta ?

    Ok,
    Just do this:
    You've your GL ODS with data from 2006, 2007 and 2008.
    You've deltas running.
    Before transporting your changes to productive run all the deltas.
    Then transport your changes.
    After that if you want the history to be updated with your changes you should delete your delta and create a new one without any data (delta init without any data). That should mark the flag init from that point.
    This means the next delta will bring any changes created from that new init to front. To load the history you can do full repairs until you have load all your data.

  • QA01 enhancement for adding new field

    Hi,
    We have done an enhancement in transaction 'QA01' for adding an additional feild. We have used the user-exit 'QPL10004' and using sub-screen '0100'.
    But when we are testing in quality server, the sub-screen in 'QA01' is displayed as '0212', hence the enhancement does not take effect. But when we check the sub-screen in development server the sub-screen is displayed '0100' and the enhancement works here.
    Please suggest any suggestions?

    The requirement is to add the permit field in the Header component of IW31. Searched SDN and found user exit IWO10018 for the same which includes a screen exit.
    The activation of the same is adding a tab in the screen while user wants the field under header Component tab.
    How this can be done. Any suggestion.

    Hi,
      You can perform append structure to add your custom field(s)in VBAP table. Next step, go to SE51 (Screen Painter)to modify SAP Program SAPMV45A Screen number 4459 for Additional data A or Screen number 8459 for Additional data B to add your append structure custom fields.
    Once the above steps done, you can place your logic to populate custom fields in include program MV45AFZZ. i.e USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP.
    At the end, please ensure all program and screen are activated. Hope this will help.

    Cause and prerequisites
    The fields must be located in table GLPCA (for actual) or GLPCP (for plan).
    For Release 3.0F, you should ensure you have applied Note 62511 first.
    Solution
    To include a field in the actual line item report, proceed as follows:
    Call the ABAP/4 Dictionary (Transaction SE11) and display table GLPCA. You can then find in a line the field name and data element for the field you want to include.
    Return to the initial screen of the ABAP/4 Dictionary. Now change the structure RPCA2. If the structure does not yet contain the field, you select Edit -> Insert field; enter the field name and data element. Do not insert the new field at the beginning of the structure but in the rear half of the structure.
    Then save and activate the structure.
    Now call the ABAP Editor (Transaction SE38). Change the source code of program RCOPCA02. Insert the lines set out in the attachment in FORM routine FIELDCAT_FILL. When you do this, replace SGTXT by the field name of the field. If you normally want the field to be displayed when you the access the report, delete the line   afield-no_out      = 'X'.                "<<<< insert Note 92864 .
    You should note that the place where you insert the lines influences the position of the column in the report list.
    To include a field in the Plan-line-item report, carry out the same procedure except with table GLPCP, structure RPCA8 and program RCOPCA08.
    Note: Pls check if these 2 fields are available in any of the layout versions you have available with the transaction.

    Hi Nagaraju,
    Actually,for every T-code,SAP has provided a lot of BADIs where the customer can write their own codes depending
    upon the functionality required.
    In order to find the BAD for a particular T-code,go to the T-code SE24 and type in cl_exithandler and click on
    Display.
    You will get a list of methods in that class,double click on the Get_Instance method from the list.
    you will get the code for that method.Scroll down and you will find one of the parameters "Exit Name" there.Put a
    breakpoint on that function module and press F8.
    In the debugging mode,double click on the Exit Name to get the value contained in it.You will see the first BADI
    provided in that T-code.
    Note down this and then keep on pressng the F8 and noting down the BADIs being displayed.
    Now ,you will have to find out the BADI which fits your requirement.
    Now,it is not required to opy that BADI into ZBADI.Instead it is better to create a new implementation for this
    BADI.
    Go to the T-code SE18 and see its definition.
    Now,go to the T-code SE19 and create a new implementation and write the code there.
    Once done,activate that implementation and the BADI also.
    Now run the T-code and debug the code that you have written.You can modify the code accordng to your requirements.

  • XRPM: Need to find the BADI for adding custom fields to  master data

      We have activated XRPM(4.0) business content and need to add some custom fields to some of the master data ( for example need to add custom fields to master data info object 0RPM_IHGU, 0RPM_IGCG etc).
      We have enhanced the data sources ( 0RPM_ITEM_HEADER_GUID_ATTR and 0RPM_FIN_CAT_GUID_ATTR respectively) in the source system  by appending additional fields to the append structure of the data source We are trying to find the BADI where we can implement the custom code.
      Can anybody help to find the particular BADI, id there one for all master data carrying data source in the xRPM source system?
