Hey pradeep,
You still did not work on all the existing concepts in ABAP?? Why are you in a hurry to learn something else? I think you are jumping the gun here..dont you think?
First, I would suggest you to concentrate minimum of 4 years on ABAP and Cross Applications more. Then, in the meanwhile keep an eye on the new concepts. See, If you can learn Java. It is helpful with the advanced concepts.
Regards,
Vishwa.

  • EOS 70D Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology and the film, 'Handmade'

The recently introduced EOS 70D digital SLR camera is the first to use Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology. Learn more about this new technology in an interview with Canon Inc. engineers, where they provide insight into the concept and the challenges faced during the process. Also check out the short film "Handmade," which was shot using the EOS 70D and 13 Canon EF series lenses, and it's accompanying behind the scenes videos.
    To learn more, click here.

Are you focusing in the AF focus area box (pretty small area I've noticed)?
I have the 24-105mm EF lens but I am thinking aobut getting the new 10-18mm EF-S STM lens so I am curious about dual pixel AF support and performance.
I really increased the funcitonality of the new AF by setting button 7 (usually the magnify button) to AF Lock and the that make it much easier to use autofocus AND reframe the picture (so the subject does not always have to be right in the center). That tip came from Phillip Bloom, who has a video on Canon about it: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/professional/standard_display/eos_c100_feature_upgrade

  • PHP MySQL - Good learning places

I have a long road of learning ahead of me but now that I am
starting to take on PHP and MySQL w3schools just doesn't say
    enough.
Are there any good sites or books that go deep into detail of
what, why, and how when it comes to PHP and MySQL?

Honestly, David Powers' "Dreamweaver CS3 with CSS, Ajax, and

best I have seen. Combined with his "PHP Solutions", you

  • EnzoMatrix: NEW 256 Nvidia GeForce Driver Due May 24th

The 256 Nvidia Video driver (that covers both desktops and laptops) is due out May 24th. I am really hoping that support for our; 760i and 9800 S will be included. Here is the article:
256 Nvidia Video Driver Launch & 3d Vision Postponement
Yeah, they have pushed back the 3-D Vision Surround support until the June or July release of the 256 branch driver. If I am reading between the lines right (and I hope I am) it looks like Nvidia is FINALLY  going to start a regular Monthly  driver release, like ATI has been doing for years and years. Monthly releases keep up with newer games and advancing technology (like DX 11). Let's all send out Happy Thoughts to Nvidia supporting monthly driver releases!!!

Ahead of schedule, Nvidia released 257.21 WHQL today! Here are the links:
                                                    Nvidia 257.21 Win 7-Vista 64bit 257.21 WQHL Driver
                                                    Nvidia 257.21 Win 7 & Vista 32bit WQHL Driver
Most suprising is that that they only support desktops and not desktop/laptop as Nvidia indicated this 256.xx family of driver would. Mayhaps there are a lot more problems with the all inclusive driver than they had anticipated. Here is more infomation on this driver:
This is the first driver release from the Release 256 family of drivers (versions 256.xx to 259.xx). This driver package supports GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, 200, 300, and 400-series desktop GPUs as well as ION desktop GPUs. Learn more about Release 256 drivers here .
    New in Version 257.21
Adds support for Blu-ray 3D with NVIDIA 3D Vision technology. Learn more about the hardware and software requirements here .

  • Sync without iCloud?

After I have installed Mountain Lion, I have had a number of sync issues via iTunes and for a while I thought these were the same reasons I could not sync my notes from my iPhone with the fancy new application on my Macbook.....until I came across this article informing me that it is no longer supported in Mountain Lion(!!!!): http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4191  (relevant part half way down under Syncing Notes with iTunes and OS X Mountain Lion v10.8)
I am a traditionalist when it comes to privacy and data security. I like to keep my data on my hardware behind firewall, only upload data onto the web that I genuinly want to share with others (...even to the point of using POP mail account). I have no intention to use iCloud (it seems I am not alone in this, sure you all read the comments by Steve Wozniak http://www.techradar.com/news/networking/routers-storage/apple-co-founder-thinks -the-cloud-will-be-horrendous-1091188).
The way things go, I will end up with 6 different Mac devices at home that will stop talking to each other unless I feed all the data into the cloud.
Does anyone know a way to sync everything just on your home network, without having to upload stuff to the web? Why cannot we have our own homeCloud? Any suggestions welcome (including from Apple)......Hope I will not have to abandon my Mac devices and consider (dare I even say) Windows!?

I don't have another syncing solution to what you want other than what Apple provides, but I'm not saying there isn't one. I too am very concerned about what data I put out over the web. But I think there is a point of trying to be too protective and making things too difficult. If you continue to upgrade the OS for new services, then at some point you will have to give in and use the new technology and learn how to be secure as you can with it.
You must realize that every time you send someone over the internet that it is in the cloud somewheres. Every email or transaction you made is stored somewhere.
Every time you are connected to the internet, you are vunerable to being hacked, even though you are behind a firewall. Using iCloud is no more dangerous than being on the internet or being loged into mail. POP accounts are just as vunerable to attacks as IMAP. Remove important emails from the server and move them to local folders which will remove them from the server. The article from Steve referring to the guy that got hacked is a bit vague. That guy left his account vunerable. If he had not enabled the Find My Mac in iCloud, his devices could not have been wiped clean or hacked. It is a useful feature for mobile devices, but Apple needs to redo some features of it to where people can't gain access to it without additional password info. The fact that his gmail account got deleted is because he had it associated with the Apple ID. You do not have to associated you other email accounts with your Apple ID. I'm sure Apple will address the issue and make changes.
The only data you can store in iCloud is Contacts, Calendars & Reminders, Bookmarks, Notes, and Photos. Documents & Data are only documents for Apple products such as iWorks. You just can't upload files from your computer for storage. Anything you don't want in iCloud can be unchecked. For .me email, that's up to you whether or not you want to use it. It is nothing more than an IMAP account. Your other accounts will have nothing to do with the iCloud storage other than what address you associate with your Apple ID.
My suggestion is one you probably won't like, but it is to go ahead and enable iCloud. Unless you have sensitive data in your Address Book or Calendars or Notes, then it shouldn't be a big deal even if someone does hack your Apple ID provided you take the time to  configure it securely. Since you have 6 Apple devices, it would be the most convinient and trouble free way to sync basic information between devices.
I did not see anything other than Notes that iTunes can't sync, so you can continue to use iTunes in conjunction with iCloud to sync only Notes, although I don't see any advantage of that except for music.
If you think you will have better luck with Windows, then that's OK too. However, do you really think you will be more secure with them?

  • Maximum hard drive physical size for MacBook Pro 13" mid-2010 model

I'm planning to replace the hard drive in a MacBook Pro 13" mid-2010 - its the latest model just purchased.
I've searched the discussions on replacing the hard drive, and I've seen conflicting information on whether the 13.3" Macbook Pro will accept the 12.5mm height drives, or only the 9.5mm height drives.
And Apple support is no help - they don't know.
Can someone confirm exactly, whether the 12.5 mm drives will fit or not?

Thanks everyone - it looks like you've answered my question, and I'll mark it as such.
I think that my confusion is related to the mac terminology that you guys are using that I am not familiar with yet - I'm brand new to the world of Apple and Macs, so I've got a lot to learn ahead of me.
"S.U.", you said "The 12.5 mm drives will fit in all unibody MBP's". What is a "unibody" MacBook Pro? The one I have is the aluminum shell, not the older black or white case that appears to be some sort of plastic.
In another thread, you mentioned that you have 2 drives in your MacBook Pro. Is there really room for more than a single drive inside, or did you have to remove the optical drive and put the second drive in its place?
"eww", you mentioned "And it doesn't affect the computer's warranty". When I talked with Apple support about replacing the drive, they said that there are no user-serviceable parts in a MacBook Pro, and it might void my warranty to replace the hard drive. I pointed out that they have several documents at the "Manuals" section of their website, explaining the exact steps to replace the hard drive (as well as memory and battery too), with no mention of voiding the warranty.
Is Apple support always so out of touch with their own web site and their own equipment/policies, or are they usually quite knowledgeable and helpful? I'd like to think that I can count on them when I have questions harder than "where's the ON button". But to their credit, they did mention that I visit these forums to see if anyone here could help.
"OrangeMarlin", you mentioned cloning the old drive first, and I plan to do that. The MacBook Pro is brand new, and has not been used yet, so there is no user data to be lost yet, but it would still be easier to clone the drive than try to install from scratch and hope that everything gets installed the same way as the factory drive came packed with.
While on the topic of cloning the drive and backups, I have plenty of external drives to do backups onto, but how do I go about doing backups/cloning? I've heard of "time machine", but it looks like I need a whole dedicated hardware system of some sort in order to use it? Or can I use it with any external hard drives? Or is there a better/preferable backup tool to use, and does it come with the mac, or must I get it separately?

  • Authorization to create a G/L Account

    Hi  guys,
I am  a newbie in SAP and I have been getting this error message when ever i try to create a G/L account after configuration of the Company :-
"You need authorization for the authorization object F_SKA1_BUK with the activity "01" in order to create G/L accounts in this company code. "n
I donot know what i did wrong, although I followed the manual correctly.
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,
You can add that transaction code or add the object in any of the role assigned to your user id. Look for the roles in transaction code SU01 and add the object in roles with activity 01 this will help you to learn how to update roles.
But for this type of activity you need to have proper authorization for updating roles. Again for getting such authorization you need to contact your Basis or any other security team.
    Have nice learning ahead.
    Regards,
    Anand Raichura

  • Need HELP with BUTTONS (help! help!)

I am trying to create a "return to previous page" button, one that acts like the "Back" arrow on your web browser.
I want to add this on my Master page, so that every chapter will have the same button in the same place with the same result.
My manual says that "Return to Previous View" is a button option. But I can't get it to work.
Please help, I need to finish this thing TODAY (July 16)

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I don't think what you want is going to be so easy. It isn't something you can set up in a snap. And buttons may not be what you want at all. Buttons serve rather simple functions. I think you are looking at Indexing, and some fairly complex indexing at that.
Now having said that, Return to Previous View does work (You do realize that these buttons only work in a PDF exported with Include Interactive Elements checked, right?), but you need something to get you to that next view in the first place. And I'm not sure how you can define that without indexing. Perhaps you could use anchored objects and Go to Anchor button, but I think the anchor would have to have something placed in it because it's found via the link in the object. Then a button in the appendix could be defined as Return to Previous View to get you back to the page you came from.
As you can see, this could get pretty messy. Indexing tends to move you around the book much more seamlessly. But it is also something that has to be meticulously set up after the book is completely laid out.
The InDesigner Podcast has a lesson on indexing as a request from one of his viewers. But in order to explain it he started with a lesson on Book Basics, then one on Table of Contents, Advanced TOC, Indexing, and finally Generating an Index. You can download the five podcasts from the InDesigner.com and watch them to get an idea of what's involved and how it may help in your situation.
Sorry, but even if someone here with more expertise than I in this matter comes to your aid, you still have quite a bit of learning ahead of you to pull this off.

  • AUSOUG/OAUG 2006 Australian conference - JDeveloper content

The AUSOUG and OAUG committees are very excited to announce the 2006 conference series is less than three months away. While our American neighbours are focusing on Oracle OpenWorld in October, and our UKOUG friends on their (extended!) November conference, Australians will not miss out with the largest Oracle user group conference in Australia to date. This year we're condensing our content into two key conferences, in Melbourne and Perth, a East Coast to West Coast series of the best presentations by Australian and overseas Oracle talent.
The Melbourne and Perth schedules are now available at: http://www.ausoug.org.au/2020
In particular Australian JDeveloper users should be interested in the following presentations:
    • Chris Schalk, JDeveloper Principal Product Manager at Oracle Corporation co-author of "JavaServer Faces: The Complete Reference" and Java evangelist for Oracle's Application Server and JDeveloper will be presenting exclusively in Perth on "JDeveloper 10.1.3", "Lockdown! Securing your ADF Applications" and "Developing JavaServer Faces applications with Oracle". Can anybody say AJAX? But don't worry Melbourne because Oracle has kindly agreed to fly in Lynn Munsinger from the USA, Principal Product Manager in the JDeveloper development team at Oracle, specializing in EJB, TopLink, ADF, and ADF Faces and author of Oracle University courses, including, "Oracle10g: Build J2EE Applications".
    • Oracle Magazine Educator of the Year 2004 Penny Cookson, winner of best paper awards at 4 APAC OpenWorld will be presenting on "Old Forms programmers never die, they just switch to JDeveloper (a view of the ADF framework for Forms developers)"
    • In turn two local members Brenden Anstey and Ray Tindall will be presenting on "ADF Development Best Practices – Starting out with a new technology" and "Active Directory Integration - OID & AD in Harmony".
That represents great support for Oracle and great JDeveloper content for developers.
There are plenty of other speakers too, so checkout out website for the latest info: http://www.ausoug.org.au/2020
We hope you will support the user group like it supports you, and we will see you at our conference in November!

I think this is a great opportunity to get face to face with my collegues in Oracle Product Management to get the inside track on the technologies and learn, not only how to use them, but where they are moving in the future...
Best of luck with the event Chris.

Short Self Teach Videos -over 60 easy to follow self-teach videos which are available on Telstra's YouTube channel. The topics covered include mobiles, tablets, computers and home networking, email, internet shopping, social networking and online security.
Tutorial DVDs - educational training DVDs which can be borrowed from many local libraries. They are designed to support older Australians with the information they need to get online and learn at their own pace.
Face-to-face training is available for free or at a low cost through community colleges and libraries across NSW. Designed with the NSW Government, it is part of a partnership called 'Tech Savvy Seniors'. This training will assist older Australians who have limited or no previous experience in using technology to learn new skills for the future.

    Hi,
You don't need BlazeDS for accessing web service unless you
want to use the proxy service of BlazeDS, for accessing the web

  • GURUS-----How can any one proof he is a RAC expert

    Hi,
In my recent interview with one of the top company they asked me "ARE YOU A RAC EXPERT" person who interviewd me was claiming he is an RAC expert.
How can I proof that I am a RAC expert.
If I know RAC installation on AIX/HP-UX/SUN and have good knowledge of RAC archicuture.
There is no certification for RAC also.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    MMU

First, I never proclaim myself an expert in anything. I always respond that while I may know a lot about a particular subject, it is up to others to label someone an expert or not. Then I state that while I may know a lot, there's always new technology to learn.
I think too many people self-proclaim themselves to be experts, when in reality, they are either more on the advanced or intermediate level. Proclaiming yourself an expert means you think you know all there is to know, and if you then answer a question incorrectly (or don't know an answer), you've suddenly disqualified yourself.
