Click the "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.
Select "Library" and then Preferences, Safari.
Look for the folder 'WebpageIcon.db"
Right click it and select "Move To Trash".

Hello All,
I have created few properties like ReqNo (takes Integer) and ReqDate (accepts Date).
I have set the above 2 properties as manadatory. Created a Group and added his goug in 'allgroups' such that I see a tab wherein I can fill in these properties.
My questions is:
<b>Is it possible that these properties are only available for files and not for folders</b>. The reason being that even if I create a new folder, I need to fill some values in the above two mentioned properties.
These properties need to be mandatory and cannot make them optional.
Please help me solve this mystery.

Hi Ritu,
If you only want the property to be available for files and not folders you only enter data into the "Document Validity Patterns" field in the Property config.

I set cookie permissions for a domain to "Allow for session" and at a later time it has changed to "Allow first party only" and now allows persistent cookies.

As it says above, I have cookies set to always ask. I go to a domain (i.e. google) and it asks and I allow for session only. Some time later it will change to "first party only" and start to allow persistent cookies for the domain.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Click the menu button [[Image:New Fx Menu]], choose History, and then Clear Recent History....
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

Why is siri and panorama only available for iphone4S and later?

How come Apple made the Siri and panorama only available for iPhones 4S and later? Doesn't it make more sense to include the iPhone 4 too because a lot of people got it too (more than the 4S I think).

There are just some things that older model iPhones can't do that newer models can. Apple makes the decisions to improvce upon their devices so that customers can choose which device they want according to their needs. If you want a phone that does something your current one doesn't, look into the Apple Recycling Program to trade in your iPhone for a gift card that you can use to purchase a newer model phone

I am trying to redeem a digital copy of a film in Australia from a DVD i bought while in the UK, i get an error message saying this film is only intended for UK and Ireland users. Is there a way to counteract this so i can upload it to my ipad?

I bought Hangover 2 while i was back in the UK and brought it back to Australia with me, it's a Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital copy, i went to redeem the digital copy back in Australia through Itunes but it says the Code is only redeemable in the UK and Ireland. Is there anyway to get around this?

Not legally, and I don't even know if there is a way illegally (which would violate the Terms Of use of this service anyway).

Drill up only works for children and not for descendants

Hi,
I have made AW available from bibeans - it means I am using CWM2. But,
when I created a crosstab, I can only drill up the children but none of
the descendants. For example,
i) I have geography dimension in the row edge.
ii) I can drill down 'World' and see 'USA' and 'CANADA'.
iii) I can drill down 'USA' and see 'New York' and 'San Francisco'.
iv) When I drill up 'World', all the descendants of the 'World' should
be drilled up. But indeed, only 'USA' and 'CANADA' has been drilled
up and 'New York' and 'San Francisco' are still there in the row edge.
Does anyone have any idea about this problem? Thank you.

HT1589 Why does creating a new library only look for mp3 and AAC files. why not ALAC and AIFF ?

I want to add a new library so i can use on sepcific devices. However it does not att AIFF or ALAC files. I always import using AIFF into my standard library.
If i want to use only mp3 files in the new library do i have to create them first in my standard library then they will appear in the new library. then delete from the original library but keep files?

Yep, that bit I get, but switching in and out of libraries and trying to keep things up to date is easier said than done. I'm just trying to point out there might be an acceptable alternative that is easier to manage.

S.M.A.R.T. status only available for eSATA and ATA?

I have S.M.A.R.T.Reporter from my mac. my recent last external crashed and i lost everything on it. had i known it was close, i might have been able to save some stuff. when i plug my new firewire drive into disk utility, it says S.M.A.R.T. Status: Not Supported. Is there any way to change that because i would really like to save my drive if possible before something bad happens

The problem is that you machine isn't talking to the drive. It's talking to the FireWire controller in the enclosure which, in turn, is talking to the drive. Few (any?) external controllers support passing the SMART protocol over the FireWire interface bridge. The same is true for USB.
Off hand I'm not aware of any FireWire or USB enclosures that do support SMART. I've never tried an eSATA connection to know if that works, although you may have a better chance since you are at least using the ATA protocol.

NAC Agent only prompts for username and login on wireless

Another question for the smart people of the world.
I have had a couple laptops where the cisco NAC agent will prompt for a password and verify the computer via the wirless network but when I try to do that on the wired network, it sends me to the download page for the NAC agent. It doesnt seem to register that the NAC agent is installed and working even though it is.
Any thoughts?

Hi Jonathan,
The NAC agent communicates with the CAS usiing the SWISS protocol. This protocol uses port 8095 for L2 adjacent devices to the CAS and 8096 protocol for L3 adjacent devices to the CAS. Have you checked if these ports are allowed through to the CAS for the wired clients? Do check the support logs on the CAM and CAS suggest something. If you can post the agent logs from the wired clients I could analize and let you know where the process is failing.

this didn't actually answer my question. The feature request link you sent me to didn't have the mobile apps for creative cloud listed Adobe Idea, Adobe Sketch and Ink and Slide they aren't available for android tablets and Android Phones. These aren't even available for Windows tablets. But they aren't available in the feature request section either.

PB G4 Battery only charges for 5 mins at a time

I am using a replacement battery for my PB (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Battery-PowerBook-15-inch-Aluminium-M9756GA/dp/B001EUSKC 0).
It worked fine for about 1 month.
Now the 'Full Charge Capacity' is reporting incorrectly (as 65,000 rather than 4,400) & it only charges for 5mins and then stops. I can get it to start again by removing the battery and re-inserting. I have managed to fully charge the battery with this method. The base of the powerbook is very hot most of the time which might be a problem. I have tried resetting the PMU. I can't recalibrate. It also powers off without warning. This problem started with the first battery. I am working abroad without much access to Mac hardware support.
Any ideas appreciated, thank you.

That is an error value indicating a defective battery. Can't be healed though calibration, resetting, or incantations. You need to work with the vendor to obtain a replacement,
Not to mention that cycle count above 500. I would reset the PMU once just to eliminate a glitch there, but that battery is definitely suspect.

HT1339 I'm not sure what I did, but my computer asked me what I want the ipod to do, and now it will only look for photos or videos on my device, and will not connect to itunes to download songs and podcasts.

Connect your iPod to the computer (and iTunes) and look on the Device/Music pane, as below:
You need to have Sync Music ticked, as shown.
If you have Entire Music Library checked, then all your music should go back onto yuor iPod.
If you have chosen Selected playlists, artists, albums and genres, you will see additional options for choosing which of those choices you want.
If you make any changes here, you may need to click on the Sync, or Apply, button to make the changes happen.
