Como conectar à rede sem fio automaticamente?

Tenho um MacBook Pro e ele acessava minha rede sem fio de casa automaticamente quando ligado. Recentemente precisei ressetar meu roteador e agora ele precisa, todas as vezes que ligado, localizar as redes disponíveis e eu tenho que selecionar a minha rede para ele conectar-se.
Como devo fazer para que ele conecte-se à minha rede tão logo seja ligado?

Essa questão é muito fácil de resolver. Peço desculpa por responder só agora.
Proceda da seguinte forma: Nas configurações do seu Mac, vá até "Redes". Lá, encontrará "Wi-Fi" (Redes sem fios). Depois clique em "Avançadas" no canto inferior direito da janela.
Na janela que se abrirá, poderá observar várias redes a que o seu Mac já esteve ligado. Basta arrastar o nome da sua rede de casa para o topo da lista de todas as redes.
Caso eu não tenha conseguido esclarecer a sua questão, por favor selecione "Reply", para que eu possa voltar a ajudá-lo.

Senhores
estou ajudando um colega iniciante em um projeto de PI GRC NFe e ele esta tendo o erro HTTPIO_PLG_CANCELED HTTP 110 no servico de verificacao de status de servidor, alguem ja passou por isso, afinal, para piorar o servico HTTP esta ativo no ICM que ja verificamos.
Alguem?

Dificil até supor o problem fazendo telefone sem fio.
Manda ele criar uma conta e vir falar do problema diretamente, fica mais facil.
Mas de qq maneira, manda ele testar a HTTP destination do GRC pro PI (que vai na SXMB_ADM -> Integration Engine Configuration). Dá a msm msg? Manda ele verificar se o servico HTTP tá ativo na SICF.

Carregador wifi wireless da Apple

Boa Noite, me chamo Alberto Wagner e gostaria de enviar uma sugestão para Apple, ou um desafio. A minha sugestão seria criar um carregador da Apple que carregasse qualquer equipamento da empresa sem fio. Esse carregador seria wifi, wireless, isto é quando o equipamento se aproximasse do carregador automaticamente o carregaria, sem precisar conecta-lo. Em geral, headphones sem fio usam o protocolo Bluetooth A2DP, para fazerem transmissão de áudio estéreo. Esse protocolo já será suportado na versão 1.2 do Firefox OS [1]. Basta aguardar a atualização. :)

Por favor, considerem o seguinte cenário:
Um ambiente com 10 APs 1142 e uma controller 2504. Gostaria de adicionar CleanAir para oferecer uma maior inteligencia contra as interferências na rede. Pensei em colocar alguns APs 3500 para isto em LMAP.
Minhas dúvidas:
Saber se dessa forma consigo obter as funcionalidades básicas do sistema CleanAir utilizando a WLC e o AP 3500.
Quantos APs 3500 seriam recomendados para este ambiente com 10 APs? Um AP 3500 atende?
O APs 3500 precisa estar no raio de alcance dos APs que irá monitorar?

Conflict of IP adress

I have a WRT54G2 and two windows vista pcs connected, one by cable and the notebook by wi-fi, sometimes i connect my iphone too.
very often when i'm using the notebook, connected through wi-fi, and i connect the other pc or the iphone to the network, my wi-fi drops on the notebook and my network vanishes from the list of networks so i have to turn the router off and on again.
and sometimes this messsage appears:
"windows has detected a conflict of IP address.
another computer of this network has the same IP adress of this network.
contact the admin. to get help and solve the problem.
i could really use some help since i know nothing of this stuff. Thanks!!

FIOS Quantum Setup

After reading all of the negative comments posted on the forum, I decided to relay my experience with the FIOS Quantum TV upgrade.
The entire process works "when you follow the directions."
I actually save money by changing my previous equipment, which consisted of 2 DVR's, replaced by one Media Server and 3 clients in the new setup.
Equipment arrived in one box, efficiently packaged, including return label for old equipment.
The new system required me to change the router which was the only semi-problem I encountered. The router was not part of the initial shipment and after calling customer service, I recieved it via one-day shipping.
Excellent guides came with the equipment, walking the customer through each and every step of the process.
It works great, and good job developing the experience for self-help customers looking to save money on installation.

congratulations on your self installation. we had no choice on having self installation here in Maryland. was told we had to have tech installation due to this was NEW to our areas so no self installation was available.
4 hours, numerous issues not to mention service that doesn't work as advertised (pause live tv whole house and view anywhere, fios digital voice not accessible via the TV)

OP, I feel your pain and can relate all too well. Unfortunately, at least in my area, this seems to be the norm with FiOS. In addition, billing problems are so abundant that I could probably write a novel about them, including the two Better Business Bureau complaints that I filed against Verizon for charging me for equipment and services that I never requested nor received!! The best by far was when Verizon kept insisting that I needed to pay for a tech to visit my house to retrieve the second M-card they "had" to install in my TiVo HD. I told the tech probably 10 times while he was at my house originally that only one M-card was needed because that's the whole point of a M-card! Despite this, he insisted on installing two. He left, I removed the second and unnecessary M-card, called Verizon to return the card and that's when they told me there were going to charge me for a service call (I think $75!) to pick up the extra card that I was returning. I literally had to fight with them to get them to let me ship back the extra card rather than having to pay for a tech to pick it up. Don't even get me started on how I had to pay for shipping and then how Verizon continued to charge me for the second card for no less than 6 months after I had confirmation that the extra card was delivered to Verizon.
Depsite all this, I would NEVER go back to Comcast!!!!!

quisiera saber si alguien sabe como lograr configurar en Numbers para que el teclado bluetooh SMK LINK modelo VP6273 envie una coma decimal a Numbers y no un punto, es decir cuando intento ingresar por ejemplo: 32,25 me ingresa en Numbers 32.25 y no lo reconoce como numero sino como texto ante lo cual no puedo obtener operaciones matematicas de ningun tipo, comento que he intentado desde preferencias del sistema -> idioma y texto y no he logrado nada, cabe destacar que en Excel para Mac y la Calculadora de Mac OS funcionan a la perfección con este teclado, otra cosa: si ingreso el numero con la coma del teclado de la MacBook Pro funciona todo a la perfeccion.
Espero haber sido claro y que puedan ayudarme
En Numbers los numeros en la columna A se escribieron con el teclado SMK-LINK y en la columna B con el teclado de la MBP, en Excel la columna A se ingreso con el teclado SMK-LINK

In Numbers the numbers in column A were written with keyboard SMK-LINK and column B with the MBP keyboard in Excel Column A keyboard entry SMK-LINK
It appears that in your region, the decimal separator is a comma, and not a period (sometimes called a full stop). For larger numbers, that likely means your thousands separator is a period, and in formulas, arguments are separated by semi-colons (;) rather than comas.
That would explain Numbers not recognizing 32.25 as a number value.
The ! sign in the Excel screen shot is a warning the A3, included in the SUM function, does not contain a number. That will generate a warning, but will not affect the result.
ACTION: Enter your numbers using , as the decimal separator.

Yet another Fios user trying to add a WRT54G as an access point

Hello all - I've read through the forum and I think I know what I need to do, but want to confirm before I start jacking up a working network.
Current state -
1. Fios (Mi424 WR Rev D) wireless modem / router / gateway is up and running
2. If I recall correctly, I set it up with static IP addresses so my wireless enabled printer is always on the same IP and my Linksys Nas200 is too (easier to reconnect both to my work laptop)
3. Fios router is in downstairs closet in corner of house - kids now want to connect laptop upstairs and signal is not so good
4. Dad wants to use trusty semi-retired Linksys WRT54G (ver 1.1) as an access point for upstairs but doesn't really want to mess with firmware and doesn't want to run a cat5 cable between the two routers.
Is this the right way to do it? - (link to Linksys knowledge base answer ID 3733 -----> LINK )
I have read through this 3 times, but don't understand it very well. I'm an IT guy by trade, but obviously not a network admin.... Any help is much appreciated!

Is there any way to make these signals seemless to the end users? i.e. the same SSID so that it just a user just gets one signal and automagically hits the strongest one? I'm assuming using the same SSID, channel, key, etc. would do it.
