TECO status related Qus.

Hi All,
I have changed status of wbs to TECO and this wbs is already assigned to network activity that has an existing requisition(PR)/PO in it.
now after doing TECO STATUS for wbs, again i went in network activity and tried to create new purchase requisition(PR) on same activity it is allowing to create new PR.
Can some confirm me whether it is an error or as per standerd of SAP it is correct.
With Thank,
Vivek

Thanks Sam,
I have TECO only WBS (activity is not in TECO)
But in my system activity is allowing to create new PR after TECO ing to WBS.
then what is the reason and how can i rectify it.

  • TECO Status in WBS ELement not allowing DP91 transaction for RRB

    Hi Team,
I would like to look if DP 91 will not allow to Bill a  particular cost once the project is in TECO Status.
Please confirm if this is configurable.

    Thanks for your clarification.
I have one more query which is not related to the Project status.
When a Dynamic item is being populated in DMR after DP91 transaction, the summarisation of material or activity takes place and If there are A(50$),B(25$),C(25$) are the materials posted and grouped to form Dynamic Item "Material" and E(100),F(50$),G(50$) are the activity posted and grouped to form Dynamic item "Labor" based on grouping set in material determination,
    the DMR will reflect as
    Line               item 10
    Material         Material
    Price             100$
    Line                item 20
    Material          Labor
    Price              200$
My client need a report which would give a detailed list of Dynamic item along with quantity and value by just entering the Billing document number.
    Like
    Material
    A   50$
    B   25$
    C   25$
    Labor
    A  100$
    B  50$
    C  50$
What are the tables I need to refer to bring up a report as stated above.
I couldnt get these details in AD01DLI and AD01DLIEF

  • Reversing TECO status for Multiple WBS elements

    Hi,
Question on setting and then reversing TECO status for a WBS element.
When a project is closed technically in project builder, all underlaying items (wbs, network/activity) are technically closed as well.
When you try to undo this, only the status of the top element is changed, not the underlaying items.
Is there any way in which we get the underlaying items changed as well (mass change is not an option)
    Regards,
    Jatinder Bansal

You can try two methods :-
    1.  Open project in project builder, Select project definition and then go to WBS Overview under project definition, now select all WBS Element and then undo TECO status. Now all the WBS status will be updated. But, this will not have any effect on network and its activities.
    2. Open the project in planning board, now select all the objects, now undo the TECO status. This will change the status of all selected objects like WBS,Network and activites....

  • Costs posted through FB01 to General Cost Element in TECO Status

A general cost element whose system status was changed to TECO on 10/16/2009 has had costs posted from our Travel System in PR1 and also tested posting from FB01 to the same general cost element in a test client sucessfully.  Costs were posted on 12/5/2009  (PR1) and 12/10/2009 (test system).  This seems inconsistent with the logic that PS typically follows, that TECO does not allow cost postings.  The environment is ECC6 with Enhancement pack 4.

Only system status CLSD (Closed) and account assignment locked don't allow actual post against WBS
Here's the explanation on TECO status from SAP Help
You use this status for WBS elements that are completed from a technical point of view, but where you still expect costs to accrue.

  • Problems to set TECO status in PM work orders

    Hi all,
I have the next situation:  I have a PM work order and its status is Released (REL). When i try to set TECO status (technnical complete), the system send me the following error: " to close order must change user status to TECO ". I am not using USER STATUS ... I just using system status ... that's the reason I dont understand the error.
    Thanks for your answer.

    Hi,
The message sounds like a custom message. Is there any exit active that might be checking for a specific user status? Maybe customer exit IWO10004 (EXIT_SAPLCOIH_004), this is executed when orders are technically completed.

  • Prevent time entry in CAT2 when Internal Order or WBS is in TECO status

    Hello Team,
We need to prevent time entry in CAT2 when an internal order is in TECO status. Looks like CAT2 is calling business transaction RFBU (FI: postings) which is allowed in TECO.
I'm wondering whether I can isolate CAT2, so that we can prevent just the time entry. Any suggestions, please.
    Thanks!
    VJ

    Hi,
Try creating a user status which will prevent the posting when WBS Status is TECO.If not, use the many user exits available in CAT2 and put in a custom code check for the status.

  • Production Order TECO status

    Hi all
I face this peculiar problem. When I TECO a Production order there sometimes the order reservation for components are not wiped out. Why does this happen only sometimes and if this happens how do I remove the component reservation?
    thanks a lot

    Hi
Usually when you did not reach the upper or lower limits of the order, reservation ermains open.. so first otion to clean up all reservation linkedto the order is to set TECO status.  if it did not clean up all reservation may be caused becuase there are open items in another screen or being handle by another user.
So you can remove the TECO, and TECO the order once again, just ensure there are no other screen using the order or material.
Next option is to delete the reservation directly via MB22. sometimes this option is not possible, normally when Reservations are created automatically by the system, in this case only deleting the source of the reservation.
Final option is to clean only the reservation for a given material, just go to the ordern in change mode, and then to  the material details, and set the flag "on" for the field "Final Issue".
    Hope this helps.

  • Revoke TECO Status for CO Production Order SAP R/3 3.1H

    Hi All,
We are still on SAP R/3 3.1H
Recently, a user accidentally TECO a CO Production Order and now required to revoke the TECO status. There was a similar case back in 2004 and I posted the issue to SAPOSS but did not get it resolved. At that time I was told that it is not possible to revoke TECO status on 3.1H. Furthermore, I was told that a solution can be provided but it is 'billable' due to the nature of the issue which is not a system bug but more of an operational issue.
On the recent case, the chronicle events are as follow:
    1. User A created, released, and created settlement rule for the order. This was done on month end (previous period as suppose to the current period).
    2. User A then proceed to do good receipt of the order but 'forgotten' to indicate that it was a complete delivery. This was done on current period but posting & document date is on previous period.
    3. Another user, B, try to issue settlement for previous period but failed. System return message saying order delivery is not complete and advice to 'complete technically' the order (error message is misleading).
    4. User A then proceed to 'TECO' the order without further checking. Apparently, no period selection for doing this posting; system just take the current date (current period).
    5. User B still not able to settle the order on the previous period which it is supposed to settled. Settlement only possible for current period, the period the order was 'TECO'.
The CO Production Order is now 'stuck'; no movement type can done on it, cannot settle on previous period as required. If at all possible, 'TECO' status need to be revoke so that other posting for previous period can be done on the CO Production Order.
Is there anyone out there know a workaround or solution, including ABAB program to revoke 'TECO' status for SAP R/3 3.1H.
    Any advice appreciated.
    Regards,
    Wilson Rotop

    Hi,

    Hi Gurus,
I have a problem also with my WBS Element's status... maybe you can help me...
We have some cost orders related to some WBS Elemetns. We want to be able to close first the WBS Element, and leave the cost order available for new postings, only in the COST ORDER, and when necessary, close the cost order. But SAP does not allow to close a cost order if it's WBS element is close. It gives CJ656 message, but i can't make this message only as a warning.
Do you have any idea or clue about how to avoid this problem?¿?
    Thanks a lot!!

  • Sale order TECO status maintain

    Hi SAP Buddy
can any one tell me .. how the restriction can be customized in SAP for an sale order..
    Condition ::
Untill unless Production order of a sale order line item ( of MTO scenerio) is not made TECO we were not able to TECO sale order line ITEM..
    Thanks In advance
    BV

    Hi,
The following actions are executed if an order is set to Technically complete.
The order is not relevant for MRP planning
    Reservations are deleted
    Capacity requirements are deleted
Purchase requisitions for external operations or non-stock materials are deleted
The order and its operations receive the system status Technically Completed (TECO)
If an order is technically complete, you cannot change it. The fields in the order are displayed but cannot be changed. You can however cancel technical completion, for instance if order data has to be changed.

  • Work Order - TECO Status Question

    Dear All,
Is there a way to indicate who performed the last accounting transaction with a Work order?
For example, Who Teco'd the order and when it was Teco'd, etc..
This allows me to create a report to show productivity of how many work orders being complete.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
    Mike

    Hello Michale
From PP Stand point ,if you are looking at TECO of Production order with individual person did , U can use COOIS functionality seleting Sytem Status : TECO  and Give the Production Scheduler .There are lot of functionality u can use within date ranges, plant wise , material wise and u have the option to choose various lay out to generate report from COOIS.
Hope this will solve your problem.

  • TECO Status in CO03 tcode report

    Hi,
I want to make a report in which i want to pick the production orders(OBJNR field) from JEST table who does not have the STAT(Status) =  I0045  and INACT = '  ' or 'x'.
I want  to have the clarification that when a production order is TECO and what it means when it is stored in Jest Table as:-
    OBJNR = OR001000040010,STAT = I0045,INACT = ' ',CHGNR = '003'
    OR
    OBJNR = OR001000040010,STAT = I0045,INACT = 'X',CHGNR = '003'
Plz provide me guidelines to solve this problem.

    Hi
As mentioned in the other post....

          IMPORTING
            stsma            = l_v_status

  • In PS Module, for setting up TECO status

    Hello,
I should be able to set the status to TECO(technically completed) on an object (like WBS, Network, Activity) only when all the activities (in the relevant sub-tree of hierarchy) are "finally confirmed".
I tried to put some code in BADI 'WORKORDER_UPDATE' (of-curse by creating and implementation). But the control of the system is not reaching this point of code when I change the status of object (WBS/Network/Activity) to TECO.
Please let me know, BADIs or user-exits to put my code.
    Thank you in advance,

  • Dates for setting DLV and TECO status in production orders

    Hi,
I am trying to understand where SAP is holding information on the date of change of status of Proces (or Production) order to TECO or DLV. I think that this information must be held somewhere as based this date is being used to calculate variance for production orders in KKS2 or KKS1 transaction.
    Thank you,
    Karol

    Hi
    1. In your Production Order - there is a Line in the 1st screen where you would see a series of Status Like REL DLV TECO SETC, etc
    2. you would see a i against the Statuses.. Click it
    3. You would see a tab called STATUS, where in all the Statuses are listed
    4. Click any of the desired status and then choose MENU Extras > Change docs > For Status
