  • Tecra A11-11H - Drivers for Windows XP 64bit

    Hi,
does anyone know where can I find the driver for the wireless card of Tecra A11-11H using Windows XP 64bit, does anyone have a full list of the hardware models Tecra A11-11H using as toshiba support website doesnt have driver for Windows XP 64bit.
    Many thanks

    Hi buddy,
Windows XP 64bit is not supported by Toshiba so there are no drivers for this OS. The 64bit version of XP was not very popular so probably you will not find all drivers on external pages. If you want XP I would recommend the 32bit version or Windows 7 Professional that has a virtualization mode for XP.
Tecra A11-11H has Intel WLAN card so check the Intel page directly. Maybe you can find a driver: [www.intel.com]
Furthermore if you install a hardware diagnostic tool like Everest or PC Wizard 2011 you can check the installed hardware and so you can search for drivers yourself.
But as I already wrote: Choose another OS ;)

  • Dos Drivers for Sound Blaster

    I'm searching for .
I just need to load drivers only on dos is loaded, nothing more.
    I was searching long time.
    Help me, please.

    http://easymamecab.mameworld.net/html/snddosdr.htm
Read that and get the SBPCI.zip file it links to. If your sound still doesn't work in DOS, then you might need to modify the AUTOEXEC.bat file in C:\ to accpet it. Namely, you'll need to specify where the drivers are (SET SOUND= ) and the parameters for the card (SET BLASTER= ). Look at the below link for help.

  • SB Vibra 16 (CT4180) DOS Drivers - Is Vibra same as other SB 16 car

I'm trying to find Sound Blaster cards for a DOS environment. I keep coming across the Vibra 6 but I am hesitant to purchase without knowing what drivers exist. This card is ISA. Are there DOS drivers for it's If so, where? If not, can I use regular SB 6 DOS drivers?
Any information about other SB cards that work in DOS would be helpful too. (Is the Vibra 28 (PCI) a DOS card?)

  • Tecra 8000 not recognising PCMCIA

Ive been using my XP loaded Tecra 8000 and connected to the internet via a wireless system using the USB port. As this keeps losing signal, Ive just bought an Edimax Cardbus Fast Ethernet PC Card. It fits in the PCMCIA slot and gives me an RJ45 connection straight to the router. The problem is that I have fitted the card into the bay but XP has not recognised it. Do I need to alter the bios for the PC to recognise this new hardware?
    Many thanks
    Rob

Thanks but I bought this new with the drivers. I contacted the supplier who now thinks that my Tecra wont recognise the hardware. The hardware was 32 bit and he reckons mine is only going to accept a 16 bit card. I dont know as Im new to all this, so I have returned the card and bought a USB/RJ45 adaptor instead and I now have a constant connection.

  • Tecra 8100 Drivers for Windows XP

I recently installed the XP on a separate partition. My Tecra 8100 originally has 98SE. Now I find that some drivers are not loading in XP....like for PCMCIA card ect. Can some one tell me where to get the same. In driver download list from Toshiba, I do not see the PCMCIA Card driver.
Also some thing very funny...My DVD ROM can not read the "coloured" DVDs/CDs. I mean the new blank discs are bright colourful like red/blue/black etc on the data side. My DVD ROM reads the white discs but not these coloured ones. Any one heard of this before ???

    Please, take a look at

Clicking on "Downloads" will take you to a screen where you can choose the Tecra 8100 and find OFFICIAL downloads for this model and Windows XP!!!

  • Tecra M7 - Where can I get drivers for Vista x64 or Windows 7 x64?

    Hello,
I have a nice M7 tablet and I have to admit that despite all the problems on the hardware I like the notebook however toshiba is quite sad, and they never released any 64bit drivers for windows vista or windows 7 so what am I supposed to do? toshiba does not provide support for this computer seriously.
like toshiba is really absurt, last year I contacted them about a problem with my digitizer, dust was getting in between the plasstic and the LCD through the latch on top and they told me that they will format my computer and all viruses will be gone??? I was like, I dont want a format, physical dust is getting in my screen....
just because it is a discontinued model doesnt mean they can stop providing driver updates for the system.
It is a 64bit cpu, it supports 4 GB of ram, it is a tablet pc yes the hardware is probably 4 years old or more but still it is the best tablet I have ever used, I paid 2000+ USD (Tecra models are business models or they used to be) and toshiba is not providing drivers..........
Dont tell me to install 32bit win7 or vista, that makes no sense, I have 4 GB of ram, I have a 64bit cpu but a 32bit os that is totally bs too
Anyone know where I can find drivers, when I call tech support they tell me to ....

    Hi
First of all I agree with you that Tecra notebooks are expensive and are business notebooks but you shouldnt forget that on 32bit OS the most applications are running properly and some older applications they are necessary in business sometimes not running properly on 64bit OS.
So I think for business 32bit OS is fast enough because you use 3.2 GB RAM that you should be enough if you dont play new 3D games.
Of course it would be nice to have 64bit drivers but you can collect http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/ it yourself. The most Vista drivers are also work on Windows 7 so you should look for Vista drivers.
Here are some examples where you can search:
    http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/
    http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/
    Good luck!

  • Tecra M3 - What about drivers for Windows Vista

It is nearly one week after Vista premiere - and siell there is no drivers for Tecra M3!
I've installed drivers form Tecra M5 (similar hardware) - and some of them works perfect - but some of them - doesn't work,
When can I expect drivers support for my laptop form Toshiba?
Actually - this is not to old laptop - it has Pentium M - 2,13, 2GB Ram, GF 6600TE 128MB... so it is profoundly enough for Vista
But drivers and software like Toshiba Power Saver, or Fn keys? - when? anybody knows?
    Ps. sorry for my english,
    Thanks a lot
    mark

    Hi Mark
If the notebook is not ??Vista capable?? I presume it will not be supported. I have older non-Vista supported Satellite. Vista runs well and I don??t care about Toshiba specific stuff.
Probably notebook and PC manufacturers have decide to make some kind of ??dead line?? and all products produced before this line will not be supported. Bad for us consumers, but good for PC industry!

  • Re: Panasonic KXLC005 PCMCIA Drivers for Windows 95/98

    Hi All
I'm trying to source a driver for my external PCMCIA CD-Rom drive for my Toshiba T2130CT Laptop. however I seem to be having problems finding the Panasonic KXLC005 driver
Every site that I've been trying to get it from has some kind of spyware download manager or dodgy exe files, I've just tried installing one on my XP netbook but just spent over an hour removing it with spyware software due to it installing files everywhere and trying to install more and more files.
Does anyone know where I can just download this driver plain and simply in either a zip or rar file.
Or if someone has it to upload to a filesite that would be great too.
    Cheers
    Pete

    Hi Pete
In my opinion it is wrong place to search drivers for external non-Toshiba devices but I hope someone will be able to help.
In my opinion you should try to check some Panasonic forum to check if someone knows if Panasonic support has some Archive download page where you can find this old driver.
You can also try to contact Panasonic support in your country. Maybe they can give you tip what you can do. Maybe Panasonic service provider in your country can help. Usually they have access to all databases.
    Good luck.

  • Need x64 Vista drivers for Tecra A9

I would like to install Windows Vista x64, but there is a problem, because on Toshiba page isn't drivers compatible with vista x64. I've got a Tecra A9 notebook.
Does somebody know from which another Toshiba notebook I could take the drivers?

    > Does somebody know from which another Toshiba notebook I could take the drivers?
Hmm. You have to check the single notebook series and you should try the single drivers. Maybe some of the drivers will work on your Tecra because many notebooks are equipped with the same devices.
I dont see any other way as to checking the single drivers.
Furthermore check your kind of chipset which is installed in your notebook and then check some drivers for such chip on the chip manufacture website.
For example; if your WLan card is from Intel then you could check Intel page for the right driver.
    Good luck

At this point in time, National Instruments does not make available a GPIB-PCMCIA driver for any Pocket-PC device. If you have a need for this driver, I would encourage you to let our developers know by going to www.ni.com, clicking on Contact NI, and submitting a product suggestion.
