Tecra R850-147 - Flash Cards Tool wont working

I just downloaded from MSDNA new Windows 8 Professional 64 bit - English.
I downloaded drivers called Windows 8 - Upgrade from
toshiba official website
My question is. Why when im pressing "fn" i can't see on top my screen tabs.
Also i can't disable by pressing button on top my touch pad (driver installed Touch Pad Driver)
Also i have problem with installing eco utility drivers. (driver Eco Utility installed)
Is Toshiba Tecra R850-147 PT520E

very important is the installation of Toshiba System Driver for Win 8.
This is an essential tool if you are using Win 8.
Therefore you should install the
1) Toshiba System Driver
2) Value Added Package (ensure you use the right version 640205 for 64bit system, 320205 for 32bit OS)
3) Toshiba Function Key Utility
The mentioned tools should help to get the FN buttons working again

Flash Cards do not work on my Satellite L750

Hello,
I own a Toshiba Satellite L750 PSK1WA-03C00R and my flash cards do not work, the function keys work, but my flash cards do not.
This model does not come with the Flash Card Support Utility, it does however come with the Value Added Package.
I have uninstalled, CCleaned and reinstalled and repeated mulitple times, trying to get this to work properly. I have also restarted after each of these steps.
I can't figure the problem out and thought that I'd see what you guys' recommend before I resort to getting Toshiba's support services.
I also do not want to have to resort to a system restore, but, if I really have to and have no choice, I will when I can.
I hope someone may be able to help me and do look forward to what support you can offer me.

I have checked on thses settings and there is the option to allow the mouse to bring up the flash cards, this will bring up the flash cards if I would like to do that, I would however love to use the keys seeing as the mouse option seems to close any games I may have running and take me to desktop and this is not preferrable.
There is no "Reset Flash Cards" option, I have serched through many files and done many serches for this option and no luck, which is a shame.
Do you have any other suggestions? I would love to have this work.
The reason I did the reinstall was to get my brightness keys to work again. Sure, this fixed the problem, but now I have no flash cards. Any suggestions would make me a very, very happy man.

Photoshop CS6 healing brush tool wont work

So neither the healing brush tool, nor the spot healing brush tool wont work properly. It looks good, until you let it go. Then all it does is smudge (photos attached)

That is not a spot its a huge area try working with the patch tool and use even a smaller area. I think even content aware fill would have a hard time there with the area.

Satellite X200-15K - Flash Cards has stopped working

I have a Satellite X200-15K with Vista Home Premium.
The laptop is two week old, and all of a sudden every time the laptop startup, I get the following message:
"Flash Cards has stopped working"
What can I do to fix this?

Try please with Start-All Programs-Toshiba-Utilities-Restart Flash Cards.
Hopefully you will be able to use Flash cards again.

Tecra R850 - 147 - Question about RAM

What kind od RAM and VENDOR are installed on Toshiba Tecra R850 - 147 (Samsung ? Kingston ? OCZ ? .... ? )

On Toshiba website there is no information about vendor of RAM modules. This could be different from notebook to notebook so best is you remove the RAM cover and check it yourself. So you can check what vendor/model it is exactly.
Do you want to upgrade the RAM?

USB flash card doesn't work

Hi,
I' ve just bought a new Transcend 16GB USB flash card. It works properly when I move files from it to my Macbook Air running Lion.
When I try to move files from the Mac to the flash card, the copy doesn't start and the system stays blocked in "calculating remaining time".
I tried to format it with FAT32 and HFS but nothing changes.
On Windows7 (installed as well on the Mac) the USB flash card works perfectly in both ways.
Can u help me?

I tried with another USB flash card and with a smaller file.
The transferring from Mac to the card starts but is extremely slow ( around 0,5MB/sec)

Satellite A500 - Flash Cards don't work after Windows 7 upgrade

Hi,
I have a Satellite A500 PSAM3A-04200E. Recently I did an upgrade from Vista to Win 7. I used my system restore disks to reinstall Vista and then did the upgrade to Windows 7 using the upgrade assistant.
I find that I can no longer use the Fn key to enable/disable features..
I have tried downloading the VAP and running it. I have also tried the Start->Toshiba->Utilities->Restart Flash Cards. Neither of these have worked even after a restart...
Can anyone give me some pointers on what to do next?

Hi buddy,
If you have already reinstalled Toshiba Value Added Package, you should also (re)install Flash Cards Support Utility. This tool controls the FN keys and is necessary to get them working.

Flash Player 11 wont work

I have been working on this for several days now. I finally got the Flash Player 11 to download to my computer and now it wont work. I cannot watch videos, post pictures to facebook, etc. I have Windows 7 Professional 32bit, and use IE 11. I have followed all of the troubleshooting tips and done everything that they have requested me to do and I still cannot get it to work. Please help!

Try using "Compatibility View" in IE. (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view#ie=ie-11) It's resolved a number of issues with 11 lately, as the web world catches up to the new browser version.

I just wondered if anyone knows why Flash Player 10 wont install on my system? I have followed all the troubleshooting guides on this site, and done all the security changes to medium and allowing scripting etc etc but still nothing it wont install. What gives?

Hi, thanks for the update. I should not have said Firefox as those Flash files could have been for any other non-IE browser as well. Firefox is just the most popular one.
I looked at one of your posts and noticed the Download Manager mentioned. Sometimes it causes problems.
Take a look in your add ons (all categories) for any getplus, get_atlcom Class or a DLM Control. If any are listed, remove or disable them.
If you don't have any of those or if you do and disable them and are still having a problem, then I agree that you should Uninstall and the Install again. But this time download and SAVE the Uninstaller to your Desktop, Download and SAVE the Installer for IE to your Desktop. Close all browsers, disable any apps in the system tray that use Flash(messenger services, any Anti-Virus that runs in realtime) RUN the Uninstaller, Reboot. When fully rebooted, Reboot again to remove all files, the RUN the Installer and then Reboot Once.

Check your Flash files, and the Shockwave Flash Object that it is enabled, go to the test site.

Flash player just wont work after installation

Tried 30 times; I am giving up now; windows 7

Browser is explorer; It installs in my programs upon start up; I save the download and run it; but when I get facebook videos from friends, it says install flash player; I removed the old program and install it again but to no avail. It is amazing to me how Adobe wont download automatically and work. It is enabled in the browser. I need someone to give me in detail what I should do,

MacPro cant see Seagate 500 gig anymore see tools wont work either

Ok my 2008 Mac Pro all of a sudden wont see my 500 gig seagate hard drive anymore. I tried putting it in different bays and nothing, tried booting into the seatools ISO and its locked up and cant do anything. I even tried putting the HD in a external usb case and booted it up in both a Mac Pro, Macbook Pro and a PC and nothing.
Is this a sign that the HD is dead or possible something i can do to it to get it back up and running. Not a lot of info on it but i would like some graphic files back for some work i do.
Its a seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500gig ST3500320AS
So im guessing its the HD but anyone come across this that came up with a fix? sounds like the HD spins and no odd sounds on it.

if i now read your story right have you tried putting your SSD as main HDD in laptop instead of into caddy? do that and see if it loads up fine if it does not still then it sounds like either SSD is about to die so it's acting up causing it to not being regonized on your MSI but appearing fine on other laptops so try runing hard disk sentinel tool for actuall SSD health and preformance % and what i understood right is that Seagate is rubbish company since their plain hdd can easly get aprox 70% health within 36 months usage :/ so i wouldnt be suprised it's worse on SSD of theirs, so if you find health is critical then don't even bother buying a seagate again, by a Corsair or any other quality SSD instead.

Adobe Flash Player download wont work.

I have a custom desktop PC which is running Win XP SP3 OS. It also has Google Chrome, IE8 and Firefox V5 as browsers and all have been working without any problem. I recently downloaded the latest versiou of Chrome...12 or 13 which was just released early last week...the upgrade is working fine, but apparently as a result of downloading this upgrade i started receiving messeages saying i need to download Adobe Flash Player. Sooo...i did download FP version 10.3.181.34...this is the version of IE and Firefox. I went through all the usual download screens and got the message saying it had been downloaded successfully. I checked my Add/Rem listing and it is listed there as properly installed and working. Unfortunately, every time i use a program which requires the FP i get the same message that i need to download Adobe FP. I have gone through all of my system settings ...Security etc. The Flash Player icon in my Control Panel shows the FP as properly installed. I run AVG anti virus software so i turned all of that off and tried to open a website which required FP and still no success. My PC is working properly and running smoothly in all other respects and I have never had a problem with any Adobe product before. I have run Advanced System Care...deep scan which i usually do bi weekly...no help. I have checked all of my security settings and set them all on low ...no help. I am not a computer technician and have sort of run out of options. As probably an important aside...at the same time as my problem with the FP started I also received an Error message...:0x8007043B...following up on that via Microsoft it said that BITS is not running and outlined several steps to take to resolve that problem..I followed them to the letter several times but they didnt solve the problem.BITS is still not running and while i have no idea what that is I'm sure it is either the or one of the reasons I am unable to get FP to work even though it is downloaded properly.
Im sure I have left out some important information,but will be happy to provide it if anyone can take the time to help me solve this problem. I even tried to identify the previous version of Chrome so I could delete the recent upgrade and resinstall it and cant find it anywhere! Finally, I tried to solve my problem using System Restore going back to before I downloaded the newest version of Chrome...no luck there either.

At this stage my only idea is a clean install of Flash Player; please try the following
download the FP uninstaller from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html and save it to disk;
download the FP installers (both ActiveX & plugin) from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html and save them to disk;
close all browser windows and run the downloaded uninstaller;
restart Windows;
go to C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash and delete any remaining files in there;
now run the downloaded installers.
If you still can't get FP to work, then we need to think about something else, e.g. why both FP and Java stopped working. At the moment I can't think of anything.

HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC SD Card reader wont work

Camera flash and Flashlight wont work. Reboot doesn't help.

Camera flash and Flashlight will not work. Reboot and battery pull were both tried..as was force stop and clearing data.. no help. Couldn't find any other ideas on Google... Any suggestions?
