Tecra R850-151 and low monitor resolution

I am contacting you to realizaros a technical question regarding a Toshiba Tecra R850-151 model, part no PT525E 8b112605h and serial number.
I explain the scenario,
I have installed the laptop in a docking station, this one monitor, keyboard and mouse, I have installed the driver downloaded from your site for this laptop model and operating system and I have configured in the control panel Intel Graphics and Multimedia screen operating mode displays clones, both displays in 800x600 resolution and respect me as an administrator entering the operating mode of the screen and resolution, the bug is when I access the system with another user without administrative privileges, in this case the resolution does not respect me and sometimes not the operating mode of the screens.
I beg facilitis a solution to this issue because it is essential that resolution on both screens, and the problem is that entering the system with another user respects me when I agreed resolution specically as administrator and if I change the theme of the screens or judgment as a user when I turn off the computer and turn on again you ignore the specically. By the way, I installed the OS twice now and the error persists and I installed the latest driver you have on the Web and previous to that as well and still the same.

Have you installed original OS that you got with your notebook?
Does the same problem occur if you create one more user?

thanks, guys mirror on/off didn't make a difference and there were no resolution options with the cable. switched to a VGA adaptor and all is working great now! cheers

How do you manually lower the resolution on a hp photosmart 209a-m printer

I want to print with black ink only and lower the resolution. How can you manually lower the resolution settings? Black ink only is no issue but I cannot lower the resolution to below the 600 that it's set for. Wasting ink! Planning on getting a non- hp printer due to ink costs.

From applications, using DRAFT printing or FAST printing will definitely reduce the resolution.

Mac mini monitor resolution

I bought my mac mini today ( 2.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 - Intel Iris Graphics - OS X Yosemite ) I connected using the DisplayPort DVI cable to my Viewsonic vx992 monitor. I have been using this monitor for my Windows XP which used to give me 1280x1024 resolution.
When I connect the new Mac to my screen is work but I with poor monitor resolution .. It's 1280x1024 but poor not clear
I'v been used this monitor with Windows with the same resolution and the monitor resolution was excellent with Windows.
I connected the Mac with Samsung Smart TV via HD cable .. The monitor resolution is excellent

I don't know if the screenshot will showing you the noise that I talk about ,, there is a little noise in the text for example .. I work for while on my monitor and I know the resolution quality and the clarity that should be,, and I don't want to buy new monitor then I discovered that the problem was from the Adapter.

Low and bad screen resolution with radeonhd [SOLVED]

Hi Archers,
I just setted up a brand new PC with an ATI HD4550 GPU and a 22'' 1680x1050 monitor.
I can run Xorg and even Gnome using the radeonhd drivers, but the max resolution I can get is 1280x1024 (which isn't even the correct ratio).
The lower suggested resolutions' ratios are bad as well.
I didn't write an xorg.conf file.
When I try to run X with a configuration file generated by X -configure, the monitor displays an error message like "Unsupported video signal".
What can I do?

i have a problem with photshop cc on windows 8.1 and 4k monitor at 3840x2160 resolution when i lauch photoshop cc everything is very small and i dont know how to get the program at the right size

Search the forum for similar topics dealing with high-DPI displays. 4k is insane, though. I don't think even CC 2014 is up to it.

What does this actually mean and how do I fix it: Alert: Error Count Monitor Resolution state Object Hyper-V Virtual Storage Device Has a value

We are getting this alert on a fair few of our VMs with VHDXs and Dynamic VHDs. Everything seems OK but I am not sure what this actually means and what I need to do to resolve the issue. How do I reset the error count if that is what is required? Thanks

But I am getting this alert from SCOM and SCOM has no information about the alert for me to find out what to do - thought that was the point of SCOM to let you know of problems and how to resolve them. :)
The alert is coming from the Error Count Monitor that is part of the Hyper-V Management Pack Extensions (v 4.0.0.0)
I have tried looking in the Event Logs on the Host and there doesn't seem to be any storage related errors there. I am trying to establish if this is a false positive, why it is happening and if it is safe to override and ignore.
There is nothing on the Product Knowledge tab and nothing on the Alert Context other than what I have already mentioned (see below).

It happened to me but later I figured out that cellular signal was not that great and so the Internet was very slow. It took me about 2 minutes to get the full resolution picuture on either of the app you've described. Try to get faster internet either by wifi or good signal and then check.

Yes, you download speed is changing. If the download speed is not great enough for HD it reverts to SD.

Have you already done this manually? I've seen Labview scale front panels very strangely when changing resolutions...

Managing Hi and Low resolution files

I'm afraid I know the answer, but am hoping I missed something that will solve my dilemma. I am using iTunes to replace my entire CD collection. I have ripped 300+ cds in Apple loseless format to replace my cd player for both my main audio system, as well as a whole house audio distribution system.
What I really want to do is to be able to load my ipod with these same songs, but at a much lower resolution (i.e. 128).
I realize that I can make itunes re-rip my music @128, but I absolutely do not want 2 copies of the same song/album, etc showing up in my Library.....
I'd be thrilled if I could 1) create a second library where I could store these lower res files, or 2) make itunes rerip on the fly when it transerfers files to my ipod.
So far, I can't find a way to make it do either. Am I missing somenthing? Is there an alternative solution? Is wanting to use high res files for a home system, and low res for mobile so far fetched that apple can't find some way to accomidate it? I am thrilled with my ipods, but extremely frustrated with the lack of useabilty in itunes.
Please help.... PS is there any other software out there (JRiver, etc, that will do what I want to do?)

I think your suggestion may finally be the answer I am looking for!!! I just have a couple of questions on how to actually implement your suggested solution. I have created a second username on my PC. When I launch iTunes from the second username, my music library is basically empty.
What I'd really like to end up with is my full music collection, in 128 aac under my second user name... I'd love some instructions on how to accomplish this..
I hope I'm making sense... any clarification you can provide is extremely appreciated. I feel like I'm this close to finally being able to use the system the way I really want to.

Why does my Wallpaper JPG (created CS5) pixels on 1 monitor and not another? Artwork is 600dpi, rgb,jpg, 30" x 16.5" size, 16:9 ratio. Does monitor resolution matter?

OS 10.6.8, my monitor resolution = 2560 x 1440.

Don't worry about inches or ppi. Only worry about pixels when designing for a monitor. You will be much happier with the results.
inches x ppi = pixels
30 x 600 = 18000 pixels
16 x 600= 9600 pixels
Printing as you can see is another matter, it requires a much higher resolution. Usually around 300ppi but I think you can see the difference.
Find the highest resolution of the two monitors and design for it. Then reduce for the other monitor never the other way around. It is much easier to remove pixels than to add them.

Sounds as though you have a slow internet connection.
Check on a computer at speedtest.net.
For near instant playback, you need:
2.5 Mbps for SD
6 Mbps for 720p HD
8 Mbps for 1080p HD
Any slower for a given quality and it has to buffer in order to playback without interruption.
The buffering could be minutes or hours depending on how much of teh movie has to buffer.
