Tecra S2 internal bluetooth modul

Where can I found out if it is possible to install internal bluetooth modul PA3425U-1BTM on Tecra S2 model num. PTS20E-01W00MG3? Notebook was bought in Europe (Slovenia)!
P.S.: Where can I post question for an expert ... etc.

Hello Korosec
I have found a information that your notebook model is ready for Bluetooth card. Bluetooth is not inside but it can be built in. I can not tell you which one will fit your model but you can contact the service partner in Slovenia and they can tell you which one can be ordered.

  • Add internal bluetooth module for Probook 5310m, cannot receive files

Hi, I tried to add internal bluetooth module for my probook 5310m, which should be very similar to 4311s and 5320m.
I did installed the module and cable by following the maintenance guide, but there is something wrong about the driver so I cannot receive files through bluetooth from either my smartphone or my another laptop. My phone showed " The transfer is forbidden by the target device( which means 5310m)".
The bluetooth module I got is Broadcom 2070 bluetooth 3.0. My operation system is windows 7 ultimate 32. I tried driver package sp52773 and some earlier version but none of them works. I even let windows update drivers by itself, it still did not work. The only good part is my bluetooth headphone works perfectly and I can sent stuff out from my 5310m. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I really want to fix this since I use bluetooth a lot. I will really appreciate your help.
    Thank you again.

I found a way to fix this problem. I install the bluesoleil software and everything works fine finally. Thank god.

  • Internal Bluetooth module for A10

    Hi All
I have bought an internal Bluetooth module kit (PA3121U-3BTM) for my laptop. According to the website it is compatable but no instructions for the A10 were included.
Does anyone know where the connector is located on the A10?
    Thanks
    David Richardson

    Hi again David
I'm sorry. My fault. I did not read your first message obviously. This module You have is not possible to install in your machine. It's for other models. I believe it is not possible to install a BT module inside this machine.

If your notebook model was also sold with Bluetooth then it is most likely that also your notebook can be equipped with a Bluetooth module, if not then not. All internal bluetooth modules are USB based. The very old ones are from SiW and then new ones from CSR. So I guess the form factor has the highest priority for you.
In this case I would consider to by a SD Bluetooth card 3, but you should check first if your SD slot supports SDIO in you notebook manual. This is required to get it working. I found this information on the Toshiba bluetooth website.

  • Internal Bluetooth Module on its way out?

Recently, when I have booted up my Mac, the Bluetooth module hasn't started, so my mouse and keyboard don't work. Luckily, I have a spare USB mouse! If I restart, it still doesn't start up. If I shutdown and then startup, it generally does start up the Bluetooth module, and I can continue.
I've not installed any new software over the last month except Apple's security updates, Safari, etc., and no firmware updates (and no exceptions).
Therefore, I am wondering, is the module on its way out?
A pain if it is, but as I still have my old USB keyboard, it's not going to make me buy a new iMac just yet
    Thanks,
    Blackie

    HI Blackie,
    Try resetting the PRAM/NVRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1431
Make sure you system software is up to date. Click the Apple Menu  then click Software Updates...
If you have available updates, make sure and run Disk Utility and repair disk permissions before and after any updates.
If the internal Bluetooth is truly exhausted you can get a D-Link Bluetooth USB adapter. http://www.dlink.com/products/default.aspx?pid=34
    or here: http://www.amazon.com/D-Link-DBT-120-Wireless-Bluetooth-Adapter/dp/B00006B7DB/re f=sr12?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1245185955&sr=8-2
I have one for an older Mac laptop and it's lasted 3 years.
Always make sure you have sufficient disk space also.
Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see
Capacity and Available. Make sure you always have a minimum of 10% to 15% free disk space at all times.

  • Internal BlueTooth Module???

    Hi,
I never ordered my Powermac G5 with an internal BlueTooth and I would really like to get one, so I was wondering if anyone knows if Apple sells it directly or I have to take it to a Authorized Service retailer? Anyways I bought it in 2005 in June/July and it's a Dual 2.0 with a max of 4gb of Apple ram...also if anyone knows what the model number of the BlueTooth module for my model that would be great!

The other option is to buy a USB bluetooth module (Like "D-Link DBT-120 USB Bluetooth adapter") – which is sold on the Apple Store (or you can always shop around.
I've done this with my G5, and it works like a charm plugged into the back of my keyboard. You'd never know it was there.
Also there is a firmware updater from Apple which will upgrade this module; it allows you to use headsets. I now use it to talk via Skype with no problems!
It also is a lot less hassle to install that taking your computer apart …

  • Add internal bluetooth module to dv4-2155dx, possible?

Just got a dv4-2155dx to replace my dv4-1435dx, since I like this notebook.  It doesn't come with bluetooth, however, so I was wondering if I can add it myself.  I got the part from HP Parts, but just wanted to know if anyone knows if there's even a space on the motherboard for this module, as I'm aware it might not have it.
    Thanks!

    Hi:
Yes there should be.  You need both the module and cable.
See Chapter 3 page 3-8, item #17 of the service manual.  There are two cables depending on whether you have UMA (shared system memory) or discrete graphics on your model.
Below is the link to the service manual. Please read chapter 4, preliminary procedures.
Then read chapter 4, page 4-42 and if you have the stomach for it, you will find the procedures to install the bluetooth module.

Me?  I would purchase a little USB Bluetooth adapter.

  • Apple will not install Internal Bluetooth Module, now what?

ibook was purchased without BT installed, so i purchased the appropriate module from the ebay (item # 922-5764) thinking that i had the type of airport card that could be paired up with BT... WRONG!
so anyways i look into the matter further and discover that in addition to having to take apart my iBook to install the part, i would need to purchase two more parts- antenna (922-6256) and cable (922-6188), which by the way would end up costing me more than the module itself!
Ok, no problem, i'm determined that i can do this install. I taught myself how to install PCI cards back in the day, and later how to upgrade ram, processor, even a logic board on various desktops. But WOW does taking apart an ibook look like way too much work.
So i call Apple to find out how much they would charge to install this for me, but it turns out that even though this was originally an optional install, they WILL NOT install it after the fact.
I already have a BT Dongle, but I really really want to have it internal. what are my options at this point? any ideas??

...I already have a BT Dongle, but I really really want to have it internal. what are my options at this point?
    The options seem pretty clear:
    Use the BT dongle.
Disassemble and install the part yourself.
Find someone who will disassemble your iBook and install the part.

  • HP integrated bluetooth module in Pavilion dv7-2173cl Entertainment Notebook PC support A2DP?

Is my 2009 internal bluetooth module out of date?  Can I upgrade?
I can connect an external bluetooth speaker, but windows is unable to find drivers.  According to HP.com, the drivers are up to date.  The icon for the speaker shows up in Devices and Printers window, but with a yellow error triangle.  It seems pairing is successful up to a point; I just can't use the bluetooth peripheral.  I know I can buy an external usb dongle that may or may not work, but I want don't want to have another external usb dongle as I have one for a mouse.

    SillyBilly1,
Sorry for not replying to the second part of your post.
I didn't notice it until after I hit post and then I had to do some research and there is not much documentation which devices are A2DP.
From talking to people, your laptop Bluetooth will support the A2DP.
The device that you are trying to connect the laptop will be what has the restriction on it.
Let me know how everything goes.

  • Bluetooth USB dongle vs internal Bluetooth

    Hi,
When I bought my MP, I didn't ordered with an internal Bluetooth module. Now I need BT connectivity, but I read the module is a bit hard to install (if you do it yourself).
    I just found online a D-Link USB 2 bluetooth adapter (D-Link DBT-120).
Does it work with the MacPro? What is the difference between using this adapter vs. using an internal BT module in terms of performance?
I just need it for my cell to sync.
    Thank you.

The D-Link should work just fine and does also work with Apple BT updates which is a good thing. The down side to it is that it's USB which means it'll use a port and consume your USB bandwidth. However, being external, reception should be better than the internal, metal encased (the MP case), Apple BT module.
As for the installation, it's not difficult of you have decent instructions and patience. However I'd still probably take it to an Apple service centre and have them do it to ensure the correct installation and the ensured continuity of your warranty coverage.

  • Is there any Bluetooth module for Satellite A100-225?

    Hello
I am wondering if a bluetooth module exists for a Satellite A100-225 (PSAA9E Series). What model?
    Thanks

No, unfortunately this notebook does not support the internal Bluetooth module and it cannot be upgraded with such module.
If you want to use the BT technology you will have to switch to external solution.
Buy simply an USB Bluetooth stick. Such sticks are simply to use. Just plug in the USB port and configure it.

  • Dv2000 bluetooth module problems..

Hey all..  This is going to be a long post - Sorry in advance, but best to get as much info in as possible..
Hey all - I'm at wits end and need some advice/support
I have a laptop - an HP DV2000 (2413cl specifically) that I rebuilt from scraps. I got Fedra 15 (F15)set up on it, then a couple days later my internal bluetooth module arrived so I added it (it is the interal bluetooth module). When I fired up the laptop, the bluetooth icon appeared (wasn't there before, inficating the system saw and knew there was bluetooth now) in the upper left next to the wifi/network status and I thought all was well. It wasn't - The radio said it was on, but the actual system config ui (bluetoth settings) said there were no bluetooth adapters present (paraphrasing). So I hit the forums, and read many people claiming they had the same problem, and the solution was to install windows so you can install the HP software which includes a firmware update. This was good, though I wasn't thrilled about using my only backup drive as a temp windows hdd, because I also had an old BIOS on this laptop, and wanted to update it as well.
After hours of waiting, windows was up and running. (the hours include downloading and installing most of the hp drivers and the nvidia drivers). The hp listed bluetooth driver had couldn't find a device, but allowed it to install anyway - I thought, okay, perhaps after the driver install it'll be able to detect it. Then the BIOS update, reboot and still no mention of bluetooth in windows. I then proceeded to install windows' 480MB of updates, thinking something in there probably was needed to fix a bug or something.. You know.. 2/3 of the way through, windows update crapped out on me locked up. Rebooting lest me in a system-locking state (blue screen) and last known configuration just hangs.. Ticked off, I slapped the fedora drive back in. Now, the only thing that has changed as far Fedora is concerned is the BIOS version, and somehow now I don't even have the bluetooth icon that appeared after the bluetooth module was plugged in (powered off of course, rofl). This obviously is a setback. I mean, F15 may have told me there were no bluetooth adapters/devices present, but it KNEW there was one, because the icon appeared. And the icon was NOT there before the module was installed.
What can I do about this? Is there a way to manually probe hardware or make it try and redetect? Any insight on why a bios update would make Fedora not see the module now? What can I do, rofl
EDIT:  This is a repost from the Fedora forums, where I am seeking help as well.  Before the floods start coming, I know Linux/non Windows systems are not supported, and that isn't an issue as I have the same problem in Vista as well.  So no, Fedora is not the problem, im fact, as I noted - before the bios update (to F.37 or 39 whichever it was that is available) at least Fedora knew there was bluetooth - Vista never saw it, not before nor after the bios update!   I'll assume all suggestions / ideas will be for Windows also..  If I can recover my vista, I'll post the exact download file names, but HP's support pointed right to all the files via exact model number, which is dv2413cl.  Vista 64 bit.  Thanks in advance for any suport, suggestions and help

  • Bluetooth module for Quicksilver G4?

I can't find any info on what internal bluetooth module my Quicksilver G4 uses.
Thank you so much for any help. I am trying to share files from (to) my computer
via Bluetooth with my Moterola W385 cellphone.
    W.W.

The key to this issue is the presence of active Bluetooth profiles. File transfer requires the OBEX—or OBject EXchange Bluetooth profile—which many, but not all, mobile handsets are 'equipped' with.
When you pair your mobile handset or smartphone using the Bluetooth Setup Assistant, it will display a profile of your successfully paired device. Here is an example of one for my Nokia 6086:
    Device Name: Nokia 6086
    Device Address: 00-19-79-92-ce-b1
    Device Type: Phone
Device Services: Voice Gateway, Audio Gateway, Network Access Point Service, OBEX Object Push, OBEX File Transfer, Nokia SyncML Server, SyncML Client, Music-Player, Media Player, Media Player, SIM ACCESS, Dial-up networking, Nokia PC Suite, COM 1
    Paired: Yes

  • Power Mac G4 bluetooth module

    Hello,
I have a dual 1.42GHz model FW800-equipped Power Mac G4 (the fastest G4 Apple made.)
I bought it, and it's like it's never been opened! The original Pioneer Superdrive is there, original Seagate 120GB HDD (with a    logo on it),
original 2x256MB Samsung RAM sticks, and the Radeon 9000 Pro, and everything works fine.
I'm in the throws of upgrading it, and I have got 2GB of RAM, and Tiger on it so far.
I have found the original Service Source online, and it shows how to replace an internal Bluetooth module that was apparently an option on FW800 G4s.
It connected to a little blue antenna cable (that my tower has), and connected to the logic board via a little connector (that my tower also has) between the AirPort Extreme slot and the 56k modem.
With this info, my question is-where can I get one?
And before someone writes this, no, I don't want a cheap external dongle. G4's have only 2 USB ports as it is, and I don't have a PCI card.
    Thanks!

    where can I get one?

    I don't have a PCI card.
    Get one.
More precisely, any NEC chipset USB 2.0 PCI card is great in OS X Tiger and Leopard (native NEC chipset support).
Some considerations are discussed on my page that follows:

You can get a NEC chipset PCI card for just a few dollars..... good, cheap upgrade.

  • Question about internal Bluetooth connector on Tecra 8100?

    Hello all.
I have a pt810e-13c52-sp notebook. Upgraded to 512MB by using 2 toshiba 256mb pc100 modules bought in ebay, upgraded to a PIII 850 also got in ebay, and upgraded to a bigger 40GB wdc wd400e hard disk, with much less noise than 12GB original one.
Messing with my computer i have found an internal "bluetooth" connector next to the internal one that belongs to the keyboard.
Why is this?? Is there any unreleased Bluetooth module for Toshiba Tecra 8100??

    Hi Toka
Maybe I am wrong but I have found info that Tecra 8100 has no BT and this model can not be upgraded with BT module. Usually BT will be used just sometimes and if you need BT you can use USB BT stick. It is pretty easy to configure it and this small part can be used whenever you need it.
