Telephone number showing on my profile

My contacts can see my real phone number on my profile and if I go to edit my profile I don't have any number added to my account.
I just want to know how can i delete that nunber.
Help me.

My iPhone contacts are only showing email address and not telephone number

I have an iPhone 4S running OS6. For some reason of late my contacts are only displaying the email address and not the telephone number.
I have repowered the phone a number of times but the issue still persists.
Can any one tell me how to fix this ???

Try the following:
1. Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive
2. Check where the Start New Conversation From is set to. If it's not your number, select your number.
If the above doesn't work...
1. In Settings > Messages, tap on iMessage to turn it off.
2. Reboot phone and after the phone restarts turn iMessage back on.

Problem in identifying Customer with Telephone number in CTI

I am facing a challenge in the following scenario:
We are in the process of CTI integration, when we get inbound call alert from a mobile, the screen displays the number in a format like +9050XXXXXXX and for a landline number it shows +904XXXXXX. In the BP, we have maintained the numbers without 9, so when the call comes to ICWC, its not identifying the customer. My CTI vendor said the number 9 is defined in the PBX and if removed it will create other problems.
I have created a test data - BP with my extn no. (only extn. no not the complete landline number) if i call my agent id no from my extn no., ICWC is able to identify the customer. The alert shows +72085 which is my ext no. but there is no prefix of no. 9.
My question is:
How can i adjust the search routine in SAP to search for the telephone number beginning with +9.
Is there any other alternative solution available for this. Any thoughts..

We had a similiar problem in one of ours CRM IC implementations, but since this particulary implementation we were using BCM we removed the numbers there.
But been searching and i think that the function used to indentify the call partner for the call it's BUPA_SEARCH_2(iv_telephone) think you can manipulate your telephone number there just for the identification, but the number showed in IC will still have the 9.
Don't know if this help , but try some debug perhaps this helps you get a solution(check class CL_CRM_MCM_SESSION).

Account Identification thru Account no instead of telephone number

My Client has a CTI solution which is already in use by the call center agents.
As of now, the call center agents are using Desktop Manager through which they are using the accept, reject or other functions.
Now they want to replace the Desktop Manager with SAP CRM Webclient functions to use the functions like Accept, Reject, Hold ...
The current status is, i have done the configuration in which i have integrated CTI with SAP CRM 7.0 and the ICWC is able to identify the caller based on the telephone no. saved in the BP.
The main challenge what i am facing is, the client doesnt want to use the Customer's telephone number to identify instead they want to use Contract Account no. or Legacy number to identify the customer.
Do we need any connector to do this.
How can i achieve this. I would really appreciate your advise on this.

In the CTI scenario that is conected to the ACD switch and have an IVR/VRU (Interactive Voice Responce System), in the CRM 7.0 IC/CTI standard intergated scenario, CRM IC system performs the search for Account by ID that is in the Call Attached Data (if CAD is configured for Identification profile for your Business Role) and it is passed thru IVR (customer enters it via dail pad on his phone or does not enter it).
If the Account ID value is not in the CAD (customer has not entered that number in IVR) or the search for a customer by this ID failed in CRM, then system will try to search by the phone number. It will find a cusomer in your CRM system if this phone number is maintained on this cusomer, otherwise no search results returned and agents can perform search manually.

CTI - Telephone Number translation

I am facing a challenge in identifying the customer during the inbound call in ICWC. The Inbound call alert is showing +90507303790 (with a prefix of 9) but we have maintained the telephone number as 0507303790 in the BP. So when the call comes to CRM, the BP is not getting identified thru ANI.
My CTI vendor is advising me to check the CRM settings for "Number Translation". But i dont find it anywhere in CRM. There is no reference for this kind of number issue.
Can you advise me on this.

The correspondence goes from f.27 automatically and one we generate in system it showing correct number and one which is going to customer it's showing incorrect number.
I don't think so that we need to do change something from FBZP since this was a customer correspondence.

Telephone number in smartform address

I am using an address element text to show the address information, but i want to include the telephone number in the showed information, is there any posibility to indicate that i want to show ALL the information of the vendor?

Wrong mobile number not in my profile

My Husband has advised me that his mobile number is showing up against my contact in his Skype. It is showing up as 'call mobile 2'. I have gone over my profile and cannot find it. I removed my correct mobile number from my Skype profile but that only meant my correct number disappeared from my contact - my contact on my friends still has my husbands mobile number. How do I fix this?

No problem, glad I could help. I wouldn't recommend Doctoring your phone unless there is another problem that warrants that troubleshooting step. I just think that if you ever have to sign out of your profile through a partial erase or webOS Doctor, that likely your phone number would update at that point.
You're not having a problem right now, so "If it's not broke..."

My online number I have purchased with skype and have had for almost 1year. Recently I have been told by numorous people that when I call them a completely different number is showing up on there caller ID. I am unsure what to do please help. Thanks

Have you enabled Caller ID for your Skype account? Online Numbers are not automatically used as Caller ID when calling telephones from a Skype account. You should be able to go into your Skype program - or log into your account on the Skype web page - and enable Caller ID. Note that not all Online Numbers can be used for Caller ID.

If you have not enabled Caller ID for your Skype account, callers may see numbers that do not look like a "normal" phone number showing up when you call them. Depending on where you call, callers may still not see your Online Number on their Caller ID once you enable that on your Skype account.

Telephone Number field when adding a new User - CCM 4.2.1

Is their a way to automatically populate the telephone number field for a user? BAT does not allow this field to be added to the spreadsheet (phones-users). Thanks.

The DN is for the actual line number of the IP phone, not the telephone number field which is stored with the User infromation. These can be independent; for example, I might make a user's actual DN 40001, but want the telephone number in the CallManager Corp Directory to be 5179840001. So, I can place the E.164 number in the Telephone Number field under the User page in CCM. Then, when a user looks up the number using the Directories button on the IP phone, the full E.164 number shows up for that particular user search instead of the 5-digit number which is helpful for offnet dialing and overlapping dial plans among remote sites.
So, I am looking for a way to automactically populate the Telephone Number field for each user (not the line number of an actual IP phone).

Telephone number contact lookup

I have noticed a glitch in the telephone number lookup of blackberry passport (latest software).
Suppose the phone number is stored in the international format (ex, +XX XX X...) when a call is received, the telephone number that appears starts with a 0X XX... and therefore the corresponding contact is not displayed on the phone screen. Does anyone have a solution?

Some have found that storing the number in BOTH formats (without the 0X) in that contact will show the number when the call comes in.

Telephone number for Line Rental Saver for FTTP cu...

Hi all
Looking for a telephone number that'd allow us to renew the Line Rental Saver package that we currently have. We have FTTP so renewal on the website is a bust and regular BT phone support does not handle FTTP customers.
If anyone knows the number and the possible hours the line works that'd be awesome.

When trying to renew online the website says "yours is not a BT number" even though it's unchanged for years. Attempted to renew on the telephone and got through to human in a couple of minutes only to be told I needed to speak to the corresponding team in FTTP and spent 30 minutes on hold thereafter and the hold music was freaking annoying. Then called back a while later to ask for the telephone number and told I could have it if putting us through failed. After 15 minutes on hold, I hit a hard deadline that was mentioned up front. Sigh!

Telephone Number Extensions

How do you enter telephone number extensions to the phone numbers in your contacts list in Outlook so it will automatically sync to your i-phone?

Not sure how you personally prefer to do it, but one way is to just put commas after the number and then the extension example:
Phone Number 123-4567 with extension 890
would show up in your contacts as:
123-4567,890
The pause indicates that when you dial, the phone pauses a moment and then adds on the 890
You might need to experiment with more than one comma to see how long of a pause you need for that particular answering machine
For example -- when I need to call in and check my work voicemail, it then asks for the phone number, and then it asks for the extension
So my contact number for the contact CALL WORK looks like (XXX)XXX-XXXX,(XXX)XXX-XXXX,,XXXX
It works perfectly with ATT work voicemail

Bought off Ebay: Item Not Received but Tracking Number shows delivered

We bought a new Chromebook on Ebay from BestBuy. This was our first time buying from BestBuy online, but we have bought from within the stores on several occasions.
Either way, this time around our buying experience has been more of a hassle than the savings that we thought we were getting. This is due in part to the failure for BestBuy to respond to our e-mails on Ebay & the fact that when we called the BestBuy store but we were told that they do not handle issues for the Ebay purchases. Makes no sense.
Anyhow, here are the details of our situation:
We purchased an Asus Chromebook (Ebay auction number {removed per forum guidelines}).
The tracking number ({removed per forum guidelines}) shows that it was delivered on July 21.
However, it's impossible that a package was delivered to our house on July 21, since someone was home all day. There was no doorbell rung. No delivery driver or truck that was seen nor heard. And no package anywhere on our property.
Either way, UPS has been notorious for leaving other people's packages at our door. Trust me, we just had our neighbor's package thrown onto our doorstep this Monday...again!
Therefore, we figured that maybe the UPS driver dropped our package off at someone else's house. So, we have knocked on several doors in our neighborhood to see if we could track down our package. This alone is a supreme hassle, since at each house, you have to keep going back & see if they contacted each of the member of their households to see if they saw/picked up a package.
Anyhow, at first, we just wanted a refund, since we went out & picked up a new tablet this weekend.
However, BestBuy asked us if we would like a replacement sent. We finally agreed since we just wanted to resolve this issue...but then BestBuy never contacted us back & we are in the dark as to what is going on.
Anyhow, this is now our last attempt at trying to contact someone at BestBuy that knows what is going on. If we don't get this resolved to our liking by Friday, then we will just be contacting our bank & allowing them to deal it out with BestBuy.
As for right now, BestBuy has is very rapidly losing our interest in dealing with them again over this issue.
