Telephone numbers have dissapeared after loading ios5
My numbers have dissapeared since loading ios5 I cannot see my numbers, but if I load a friends number their picture is displayed, so that tells me they are hidden somewhere? can anyone help please??
Are you using iCloud as well as manually synchronizing via iTunes?
And, do you have backup?

Do you have copies of them in the Tones section of your computer's iTunes library or on your backup of your downloads/library so that you can sync them back to your phone? If you haven't then you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will grant you a redownload

My contact telephone numbers have been deleted. Solution??
Some of my contact numbers have been deleted, I don't know how this happened, I'm I the only one with this experience.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem before I loose all my contact numbers.i have the same problem. i have over 100 contacts, and when i open contacts to call someone, it appears that all the contacts are there, except, when i look for most of the people i usually call, i cannot find them.
now if i go to far left page of i phone screen to the "search" area
if i look up their name, i do find them, but next to their name, the small "contacts" icon is not next to the name

When i start downloading apps to my ipod touch 3g they dissapear after loading the app picture
After i type in my password it will say waiting,then it will load picture, then dissapear. I restored my ipod and it worked to download for i while, but now it happens again. Is there a app limit? i have 20 downloaded apps.
Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.
There's more to try but let's go a bit at a time. -

It sounds like you are trying to send emails but for some reason, thousands show activity. I would start by re indexing the mailbox to help troubleshoot the issue:
1.Quit Mail if it’s open.
2.In ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData, delete any file that begins with “Envelope Index,” such as Envelope Index or Envelope Index-shm.To show your home Library folder, hold down the Option key, then in the Finder choose Go > Library.
3.Open Mail.Mail creates new Envelope Index files. This process may take a few minutes, depending on how many messages Mail is reindexing.

If the issue persists, I would next remove the account, restart the computer, and re add the account:
1.Choose Mail > Preferences, then click Accounts.
2.Select an account, then click Remove.

Removing an Exchange or IMAP account doesn’t permanently delete the account’s mailboxes and messages because they’re stored on the mail server. To retrieve the account’s mailboxes and messages from the server, add the account again in Mail.
To add the account again, click the rather than the as described above and retest the issue.

After loading the latest software with an update, iphone 4/ 5.0, I do not have zoom with the camera any longer, can I correct this or is it a software item?

Welcome to Apple Communities. The Zoom feature has changed a little in iOS5. To activate the zoom, "pinch" the screen with two fingers. You will see the screen zoom and will also now see the slider that you use to see when tapping the screen.

My iPhone is locked due to setting up a passcode after loading new version 7. I have tried to reset but keep getting turn of "find my iphone". I can't get into the phone to turn this off. What do I do now?

I've been working with Mainstage 2.1.3 and have experienced concerts crashing immediately after loading. In an attempt to solve crash issue, I've installed Mainstage 2.2.2 to see if that helps alleviate the issue. My question is: should I uninstall Mainstage 2.1.3 now in order to save memory?

You would only save about 500MB by deleting MS 2.1.3. You may find it useful to keep the application, or perhaps to make a zip and then delete the original

After loading Acrobat XI, Facebook pages are blank with errors. Can't find what happened to IE8. XP OS. Any suggestions?
I agree. The Facebook failure must have been coincidental in that machine. I have a notebook that I loaded the same Acrobat into and it's Facebook is OK - It's on Win 7 OS. This laptop's (XP) Facebook works, but it doesn't have the Acrobat loaded into it. Also have a networked desktop for business on Win 2000 and it's Facebook works too. Haven't tried another browser in the suspect machine yet. There's definitely something wrong with it's IE8. What it boils down to in it, is that it won't logout of Facebook properly. I have to logout on some other machine. Then when I login on the bad one, Facebook only partially loads it's pages and I can't logout from it.

Please help meI opened a new user on my computer yesterday with administrative privledges. I then opened up an itunes account from this new user. It seemed to go pretty well. I haven't downloaded any new songs yet or moved them to my account. I don't know how to move songs yet. I'm reading iPod and iTunes for Dummeies. Very appropriate for me. After loading the latest Aperture 3 update, aperture will not load and it appears to have corrupted 10.6.7. and now appears to be missing from the computer and my administrator status has changed to standard. Update Software says I need to do update to 10.6.7 which I can't do because administrator privileges are gone. I didn't back-up with Time Machine ,BAD, but I have all files backed-up on another hard drive. Should I just reformat and start over? Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
PROBLEM SOLVED! For me at least!
Apple Support gave me the clue - I had run Migration Assistant, and it had obligingly replaced a system file (/Library/Frameworks/PluginManager.framework/Versions/B/PluginManager) with the equivalent from my old system.
I reinstalled 10.6.7 using the DVD supplied and all is well.
The moral is - don't use Migration Assistant.
Along the way Apple Support provided me with a link to download Combo update 10.6.7: this could not be installed on my iMac.

After loading Maverick iTunes will not launch. I get an error code: -45054. I am the administrator and have no groups or guests. Sharing options don't fix this. Also Fetch will not launch, I get error code: SSL error 9807. These worked perfectly before installing Maverick. Also everything that loads, all programs, take twice as long to load. I have MacKeeper and have cleaned and discarded all the garbage.
Remove "MacKeeper" as follows. First, back up all data.
"MacKeeper" is a scam with only one useful feature: it deletes itself.
Note: These instructions apply to the version of the product that I downloaded and tested in early 2012. I can't be sure that they apply to other versions.
If you have incompletely removed MacKeeper—for example, by dragging the application to the Trash and emptying—then you'll have to reinstall it and start over.
IMPORTANT: "MacKeeper" has what the developer calls an “encryption” feature. In my tests, I didn't try to verify what this feature really does. If you used it to “encrypt” any of your files, “decrypt” them before you uninstall, or (preferably) restore the files from backups made before they were “encrypted.” As the developer is not trustworthy, you should assume that the "decrypted" files are corrupt unless proven otherwise.
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Applications
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-A. The "MacKeeper" application is in the folder that opens. Quit it if it's running, then drag it to the Trash. You'll be prompted for your login password. Click the Uninstall MacKeeper button in the dialog that appears. All the functional components of the software will be deleted. Reboot.
☞ Quit MacKeeper before dragging it to the Trash.
☞ Don't empty the Trash. Let MacKeeper delete itself.
☞ Don't try to drag the MacKeeper Dock icon to the Trash.
