Telephone Technical Support Options/contact info?

Can anyone tell me how or who i can talk to about signing up for telephone based technical support on crystal reports? I understand that you can pay $195 for a single incident, but want to know if there are any other options, such as a 1 year support agreement that would give me so many incidents, unlimited access to technical support for a fee?
I am a new user of crystal reports, and really need a "live person" resource other than this message board service for technical support answers.

Stephen, not sure if I am right but the best place to ask this question would be under General section. This section is if you have any problems with Crystal Reports (designing wise).

    If I submitted an adapter exchange request online on 14 October 2008 and have not yet received the new adapter and return shipment info for the old adapter, how do I request follow-up assistance/support using the Online Assistant or directly via e-mail? The Online assistant indicates that I have no outstanding service requests and does not provide an option or contact information by which to submit a new request. Subsequent duplicate Adapter Exchange Program requests are rejected without providing a follow-up option or online/email support contact information. Please advise???

    Updates are approved for phones based on their original intended country of sale and the carrier that they were originally sold through. There is not one Lumia 820 (my old phone), for example, but dozens of different versions - in the UK there
    are 4 variants, a 'country variant' that was sold on the open market, plus carrier-specific versions for O2, Vodafone and EE. The Country Variant phone gets updates when
    all of the carriers in that country have approved the new update; the carrier-specific ones get an update when that carrier has approved it.
    It appears that for phones originally sold in India, there are no carrier-specific versions. See

    The Lumia 810 was designed for, and only sold through, T-Mobile USA. They reportedly have refused to test and approve any updates.
    http://www.microsoft.com/en/mobile/support/software-update/wp8-software-update/availability-in-north-america/ shows that 8.0.10327.77 is the latest version available (Windows Phone 8 Update 2 aka GDR2).
    You should still be able to enrol the device in the Preview for Developers programme, to bypass the normal checks for end users. Go to
    https://dev.windows.com/en-us/develop/phone-updates for the procedure to do this. Originally, the App Studio registration only allowed you to enrol one phone, but I can't see anything confirming
    this.

  • Outstanding DSL Technical Support

    Thanks to {Edited for privacy} Krishna (India) for patient and thorough telephone technical support from Verizon.  I had lost my wireless network, and could not use my laptop to back up my PC for months.  I tried the installation disc and online support options repeatedly; and even called Verizon five or six times for support, yet obtained no relief.  Finally, I was told I could update my system by using a single tool (a wireless modem) to replace the old Netgear router and modem combination.  Over the course of four days Mr. Krishna continued to contact me to complete installation of the new Verizon wireless modem.  A new secure network was created, and we were able to identify more than 3,000 hidden files on the laptop that must be deleted.  As a Verizon customer for more than two decades, I commend Mr. Krishna as having been the best Verizon agent I have ever dealt with; and that includes those in billing and customer support.

  • Contacting Apple Technical Support online?

    Wasted $10 on an app required for my son for High School, it stopped working after 6 months, contacted iTunes for a refund as it is the App that is ****! not the ipad, they refused to assist, told me I need to contact Apple Technical Support, how does one do this online???

    The reviews in the AppStore also show that you're not alone in this freezing immediately after launching the app.
    Some users have reported the latest update released 2 days ago (v2.0.1) fixes it for them. Otherwise you'll have to wait until Apple releases another bug fix version.
    You could try sending feedback on the issue to Apple at http://www.apple.com/feedback/
    Make sure to include all relevant info about which exact devices and which versions of iOS and the Pages app.

  • UCCX 7 error message: "CDAUI2000 An error has occurred. Contact technical support."

    Folks,
       After couple days investigating some issues, I come across an error "CDAUI2000 An error has occurred. Contact technical support." But, all info that I found assume that you have CME (Communiations Manager Express) in which we do not have here, only CUCM. Any suggestion where to go to fix this?

    Is there any way to contact Verizon with a detailed cell phone technical support question?  I prefer e-mail so as to provide details (like I am trying to provide here).  I have tried in-store personnel (no help at all) and the web chat - they just want to see me more data instead of helping me with my basic problem!
    I CAN NOT GET ANYONE FROM VERIZON TO GIVE ME ANY HELP NOR CAN I FIND A WAY TO FILE A COMPLAINT.  AT THIS POINT I JUST WANT TO DROP MY VERIZON ACCOUNT BUT I'M SURE THAT IT WILL COST ME A SMALL FORTUNE TO GET OUT OF IT.
    Here is my issue:

    BELOW IS A SCREEN COPY FROM REDDIT ABOUT SOMEONE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM WITH A VERIZON CELL PHONE
    So last night my RAZR MAXX HD did something totally bewildering by spontaneously downloading 2.6 GB of data over the course of ~ 3 hours. Fortunately I was able to catch this problem before it ended up being really expensive, but I still exceeded my 2 GB data plan by 600MB.
    The Culprits:
    Reddit News Free: 160 MB foreground / 0.96 GB background
    Android OS: 0 MB foreground / 1.18 GB background
    Several unnamed applications: ~ 350 MB

    Detailed timeline:
    5:12 PM: Incident begins according to VZW data usage website (2.60410 GB used). This is around the last time that I used my phone at the laundromat before getting dinner and watching Game of Thrones.
    8:04 PM: 50% of data allowance used (txt msg)
    8:31 PM: 75% of data allowance used (txt msg)
    8:58 PM: 90% of data allowance used (txt msg)
    9:13 PM: 100% of data allowance used (txt msg)
    10:05 PM: Got the text messages and immediately put the phone into airplane mode
    10:30 PM: Took screenshots
    10:45 PM: Enabled wifi, installed Kaspersky premium. Scan returned no threats.
    11:00 PM: Left phone in airplane mode, went to sleep.
    The questions:
    What was the root cause of this issue? Did Reddit News freak out as a result of an esoteric bug or was my phone hacked?
    If this was a simple Reddit News bug, then why was the Android OS also trying to use such a massive amount of background data?
    What the hell are these unnamed numeric applications? I've inspected my process history and this is the first time they have ever attempted to use data.
    I'm pretty sure that I can explain this situation to Verizon and get out of having to pay additional data usage fees, but I would like to know more about the problem before I get in touch with them.

    All I can think is your phone may have background downloaded an OTA update, and you'd then be prompted with something like, "As update to your Android system has been downloaded, would you like to install it now?"
    I do find it very odd that the update would be 2.6GB. As a rough base, the CyanogenMod 10.1 firmware for your device is well under 200MB, so unless Verizon has a ****-ton of bloatware in the update, or it had to attempt to download multiple times for some reason, it may be a stretch.
    But doing a little homework, it looks like the Verizon Razr Maxx was updated to 4.1 in late March. Maybe they're still rolling it out in waves? Have you gotten the update yet?
    Edit: Aaaand I just noticed you appear to be running an AOSP-based ROM, which totally rules out a carrier update being sent out.
    Edit2: If you want to live dangerously, you could try running:
    #kill -9 12289
    That 12289 is the PID listed in your screenshot. But don't run that without fulling understanding the kill command.
    The ps command could also be of use, but probably not.

    I can confirm that the phone is currently at 4.1.2 and that I wasn't prompted for an OTA update.The fact that both the Android OS and Reddit News processes were simultaneously using an extremely large amount of data is unlikely to be a coincidence...

    That is very curious that the spikes happened at the same time.I'm curious. It may have put at least some of that 2.6GB somewhere. You could use a data visualizer tool to see if you can find it, which may lead to more clues.

    The largest directories are:
    DCIM: Normal looking photos (90,825 KB)
    Android: Primarily map cache data (64,846 KB)
    If it was downloading content then it did not significantly save content to storage. It's not like I have anything particularly sensitive on the phone, but the idea that it was uploading a snapshot of my data definitely makes me uncomfortable.

    Yup, Digital Camera IMages and videos.Somewhere in /sdcard/Android would be my guess as to where a mysterious file would be downloaded, but if it's only 64MB, and mostly map data, I'd safely rule it out.I'm sorry, but I'm stumped here.Edit: I should mention I don't think this is malware, because unless a malicious app gained superuser access, any data it used would show under it's own apk in the data usage list, not Android OS.

    Although I'm not really up to speed with the Android platform, I come from a UNIX background so I feel comfortable running commands. How do I pull up a bash terminal? Do I need to root the phone first?

    There's a number of terminal emulators in the Play Store that work well. You don't need a rooted phone to get to the shell as your user, but any privileged command won't execute unless you can grant it permission from the Superuser app that is installed when you root the device. So you could probably do a ps -e, but not a kill -9.

    Got it. I downloaded a terminal emulator but unfortunately those processes no longer exist.Does Android keep a generic log of system level events like /var/log/syslog?

    I don't think so, and I know you'd need superuser permission to read most of the files in /var/log anyway. I'm not super familiar with how Android does its logging, but I do know that the two files of interest are the logcat and dmesg.

    Want to mention here that using your settings to set your data cap (set it on your billing day), then you won't go over again.Those text messages are really unhelpful, as they send out well after the data has been used. Chances are good you hit close to the 2GB mark before you received the bulk of the messages.

    That's definitely not the case here; both my PC and and Android phone are free from pirated apps.

    You used the data.  Verizon can not see what it was sued for.  However your phone can see whats apps used the data.  go to settings-data usage- there will be a place that says data usage cycle.  line the dates up with your cycle.  then there will be a bar graph below that   extend bother white bars one all the way to the left and one all the way to the right.  after those are extended below that will be a list of apps,  there should be one that used over 2 gb and that will show you what app used that data in her purse

    my itunes was working just fine on my windows 7 pro PC.
    Update 12.1 popped up and I clicked download and install and now all of my itunes is gone.
    I uninstalled all Apple software packages, and also pain stakingly went thru my registry line by line and deleted all references to itunes, apple, quicktime, etc., then downloaded fresh downloads of the installer and each time I get just about to the end of the installer and a window pops up and says
    "the older version of itunes cannot be removed. contact your technical support.
    So, I tried downloading the previous version 11.4 and 10.7 64bit installers and then the system won't even get started doing an install when the system responds...
    "a newer version of itunes is already installed", and the installer quits.
    I have cleaned my registry now about 5 times, I ran all of the apps to clean my PC of all of the apple and itune files. I am an administrator on my PC. I also went as far as creating a second administrator and switching under that account and still get the same responses.
    I have removed any attached external drives and tried the installer.
    I have tried to install itunes under a different folder location instead of the default C:\Program Files directory.
    I have tried to install via the Apple Software Upgrade utility as well as direct downloads of the installers.
    All of my music is gone.
    When I run the installer now, all of the other apple software files install ok, with the exception of itunes. It gets nearly complete when the "older version" error comes up then I notice it backs off the installation and no files or directories are created.
    There is nothing in the Control Panel 'Add/Remove Programs' as far as iTunes, their are no directories or files, yet it still sees a old version of itunes referenced in some file on the pc.
    I ran a couple of utilities such as CCleaner, Everything, Revo Uninstaller and Registry Reviver, as well as going thru regedit line by line for hours to remove references to apple and itunes - all still with the same results.
    Either I get a 'the older version cannot be removed' or 'a newer version of itunes is already installed'
    very frustrated.
    anyone have a installer that will complete ignoring any errors?

    For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
    The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
    Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
    If you are running 64-bit Windows and the above steps haven't helped try installing the version of iTunes that can be downloaded from this support document. iTunes 12.1 for Windows (64-bit — for older video cards)
    If you still have no luck try reinstalling iTunes 12.0, links in the user tip.

    i had to take my photoshop file into a hardrive because my dad was going to give me a new Mac and when things didn't work out and went back to my old one i use the time capsule thing to save everything before but didn't give me photoshop so i physically moved the file and tried to open it but then this error shows up

  • HT1925 I cannot uninstall Bonjour and Quicktime so I can do a complete reinstall of iTunes.  I get an error message stating that both are older versions and to contact technical support.  I am running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3.
