Tell a Friend not working!

My home computer "Tell a Friend" does not work. It does work on my computer at work though.
First, I make a MoblieMe gallery that contains a video, then I click Info, then Tell A Friend. I put in the email addresses that I want and press send. I get a message saying that the email was sent. But, no one gets the email! I even put myself in the addresses, and I do not get an email either. When I do this same thing from my iMac work computer, it works fine! What could be wrong with my iMac at home? It has worked in the past, but is now not working.

I´m having the same problem, but i've noticed that the same library works on snowleopard (10.6.4) and doesn't work on 10.5.8.
My main computer is a Mac Pro 2007 running 10.5.8, and in this machine, "tell a friend" button does not work.
Any ideas?

I've deleted Aperture preferences, bun in Mail preferences I only can select Mail 3.X.X (Mac OSX 10.5.8)

"Tell a Friend" not working in Aperture 3

After publishing new galleries using MobileMe, the option to "Tell a Friend" does not work. It used to work fine in previous versions of Aperture, but now nothing happens. Using the email option to send a photo works fine.
Has anyone else come across this?

Tell a Friend - Not Working - Help Please

in the web gallery tell a friend it wont work I press it it sstays dark for like five seconds then goes back to white and no email message comes up.

Tell a Friend not putting preview pic in Mail

I have a MobileMe gallery on 24" iMac. When I click "Tell a Friend" Mail opens and provides a stock message and a link but not the preview picture with the black background and "View Album" link like I get on my MBP. The iMac is fully updated.
Is there a setting in iPhoto or Mail that needs to changed to get the preview pic?

Close iPhoto and delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder. Launch iPhoto and try again.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
Note: There's now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

Find my friends not working

So my Find My Friends will not work for some reason. Both parties has theirs on and the only way it works if we're both open in the app. Anyone else have this problem. We have our background refresh on as well

I have it working only if everyone leaves the app open... (but that also drains the battery faster)
It seems to be a bug with background refresh and Find Frineds... I'm thinking the more people who complain the sooner Apple will look into it.

Find my friends not working on IOS6

after updating my i phone 4s to ios6 my find my friends app is not working, i have a big chunk of map which is blurred out but its fine a few miles either way of the blurred chunk, also the notify me button is not accessable but it is there i just cant press on it i have deleted the app re installed, signed out and in again, etc etc etc but no joy can anybody advise me what to do please?

Find Friends not working under iOS 7

Find Friends is not working since loading iOS7 on my iPhone 4S. After logging in an alert appears stating "Connect to iTunes to Use Push Notifications" with some explanation and an OK button. Pressing OK dismisses the alert, but it immediately reappears, covering the app screen again. I can't even exit the Find Friends app before the alert appears again and can't exit the app with the alert on screen. I have to shut down my phone (turn it off!) or restart the phone to exit the app! What a pain!
Restarting the phone has not resolved this or my inability to log into Face Time since loading iOS 7.
Any solutions?

I finally found a fix! After many attempts the only fix I found was to reset the phone totally. Reset all settings and contents from General Settings on the iPhone. Required setting up the phone totally from scratch, then syncing from the back-up I made to computer before doing the reset. Find My Friends and FaceTime work now.
Not a pleasant fix, but after hours and hours of trying other less drastic solutions without success this worked.

Find My Friends Not Working Properly after iOS 7 Update

Following update to iOS7, the Find My Friends app doesn't seem to work properly anymore. In particular, when the app is on, or running in the background (i.e. you can see it when you double tap the home button) everything is fine and my friends can see my location. When the app is killed, i.e. off or not running in the background, then my friends cannot see where I am.
That was not the case with the old iOS where regardless of the app running in background or not, my friends could still see my location. Has this happened to anyone? Does anyone have a solution?

Find my friends not working with friends located outside my country

I Cannot share my location or see my friends location using find my friends because they live in other countries and their app store is not the same as mine(usa).
I can understand you cannot share apps or itunes purchases with your family if their apps store or itunes store are not the same as your, however I CANNOT understand why we cannot share locations in find my friends application, apparently for the same reason.
If I am wrong please let me know how can I include my friends leaving and belonging to apple stores different than my us store.and be included i nFind my friend

Find My Friends may not be available in all countries, due to technical limitations or local law. If your friends are in such a country you would not be able to use this feature to locate them. See this article -

None of my friends on att can receive my picture messages . this has been going on for about a week. It started with screen shots and now is all picture messages . can you help!

}You can not send it types other than Strings.. you declare the method as "public void assign(String... args)" .. the method is expecting to be passd Strings. If you changed it to "public void assign(Object... args)" then you could pass it other stuff. However, I don't think I'd recommend that approach to programming. It'd work, but you'd eventually get some weird output as every Object's toString() method was invoked that you sent to it. (and as we all know, they're not always standardized)

IPod connection to car not working?!

My iPod Nano (not sure if it's 4th Gen or not... not sure how to tell sorry) will not work with my car stereo anymore Up to a few days ago we hooked it up to our Honda (has a USB port in the arm rest) and it played through the car stereo. Today we went to use it and it recognizes the iPod, shows the song name on the stereo display but no sound comes out (the volume is up). We tried my nephews iPod and it works with sound, we tried connecting the earbuds to my iPod and there is music... so I'm stuck now because the cord works with another iPod and the headphones work on mine... any suggestions/ideas/help? Am I just not thinking of something? We're travelling so this is important lol

Hi there, have you guys gotten your problem solved yet?
If not try to reset your ipod. you can reset it by holding the centre and menu button at the same time until the screen displays an aple logo. try that and see if that fixes your problem.

RelationalOperatorType.CONTAINS not working -- any solution/reason pls ??

I need to write search logic in which user enters a single character , and search result should contain all the strings that contains the character required.
I guess RelationalOperatorType.CONTAINS is the correct one .
But its not giving result as desired.
Could anyone pls tell why its not working or any other way to achieve the search criteria ?

Just check this thing.
Hope you will be filtering the data with respect to one field.Check for, whether the
data elements of the fields, the field you are using in your BAPI Wrapper and the corresponding back end field from where you are selecting the data for this field,
have the same length or not.
For example,
The field in your BAPI Wrapper you want to do filtering is - FIELD_BAPI
The field in the back end from where you are selecting data to fill the field - FIELD_BACKEND.
     The above mentioned fields may be different. But the properties of the two data elements should be the same. I mean,
For
   FIELD_BAPI    -              CHAR 60
   FIELD_BACKEND-          CHAR 70 or... like this..
Check for this ..
One more thing,
   Make it sure that, one space is not there with your that character you are giving for filtering...
Which is the persistence medium you are using ?. file system or DB2E ?.

Power nap not working on new MBP

I got the newest 15" MBP and I'm trying to get power nap to work, but as far as I can tell, it does not work yet.
I enabled power nap both when the laptop is connected to power and on battery, but every morning when I look in iTunes, my podcasts have not been updated since last time i closed the lid.
I also tried to start downloading a podcast and close the lid, and when I open it again, the podcast has not progressed in the downloading.
Anyone knows why this is not working and how I solve this problem?

I was 100% sure i read that podcasts would update as well when power nap was launched...
Anyways, that is kind of weird to me that podcasts are not updating, but I guess I have to live with this as an iSheep.
Really strange that this was not prioritized but instead a watch where you can send smilies and draw hearts was prioritized..
