Well, I would agree with you conclusion that a language by itself can't be called a framework. If you goal is to improve your communication, I would suggest you make good use of capitalization and use proper English instead of words like "pls".

Please download patch 4725670 from Metalink. This one has Jdeveloper RUP3. You can start working on these. The Jdeveloper comes with inbuilt documentation. All that information can help you with OA.

Error while Accessing Smart Card using Open Card Frame Work

Using Open Card Frame work I am trying to access GemAlto provided Smart Card (java card). I downloaded the Open Card Frame work from http://www.openscdp.org/ocf/download.html.
I am executing a basic program to access the data stored in smart card.

The content of the opencard.properties are :

After the line SmartCard sc = SmartCard.waitForCard(cr);
the program is expecting a card to be inserted but while inserting Smartcard the following error message come :

Sounds like an issue that has to do with JavaScript Origin policy. You'll have to use Domain Relaxing for this. Read all about it here:

Java Not Working, And Still No Answers. What Gives?

Okay, decided to start this topic anew, since the only response I got to the other one was a post calling me "rude and impatient" (I guess that's what they're calling "persistence" nowadays..) , instead of...well...ignoring my admittedly pushy and harsh tone and actually being helpful. However, for the sake of it, I do apologize for my attitude in my last topic.
But I digress, let's start off on a new foot, eh? On to the problem that is STILL at hand(in other words, "patience" hasn't gotten me jack, not even a "we don't know yet"):
So last night (10 PM January 20th), the Firefox Plugin Checker said that my Java version was outdated. I also got a pop-up saying that my current version of Java at the time (Java 7 update 10) had vulnerabilities. So to try and fix this, I went to the Java page and downloaded the update (Java 7 update 11).
To check and see if my update was working, I went to Java's check page, as well as another page I use. And here I discovered a problem. I got a notification that an old version of Java had been detected, and another prompt to download the current version (which I had already done). So I erased all versions of Java from my control panel, and tried to check it again. And when I did, I got this: http://oi50.tinypic.com/35b6xx2.jpg and http://oi47.tinypic.com/15fg37p.jpg.
As you can see, both pages tell me that I need to install a missing plugin of some sort. So, thinking this would resolve the issue, I clicked the Install Missing Plugin button. So I clicked next to install it.... and got this: http://oi45.tinypic.com/2cici0x.jpg, which I assume means that the plugin did not install. So I pressed Manual Install... and was lead/linked right back to the Java download page (where it all began, and what doesn't seem to be working in the first place)
I go to check my plugins again (Just to make sure and also for extra information), and it appears to say that my Java version is current (is that what "Java Deployment Toolkit 7.0.110.21" is? I don't know, I am not good at technology at all. Either way, here is what it looks like: http://oi48.tinypic.com/4kxzz4.jpg). So...if it is current, why is it not working (i.e. I am unable to play games, DO MY COLLEGE CLASSWORK, or play Java-based games)?

And before anyone says that Java is not essential: It may be that way to you, but I need Java to do classwork for college. Veterinary college.
So, in short, what is going on with Java, and how can I fix it?
EDITEDITEDIT: I Have found that I can do my classwork without Java. HOWEVER, this DOES NOT mean that the problem is solved or over with. I STILL WANT TO KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM AND GET JAVA TO WORK. Even if I never actually need it, I would still like to have a (working!!!) Java version because of two reasons: 1) I would rather have such a program and not need it, than need such a program and not have it, and 2) aesthetics. Sorry to say, but I am very particular about how things look when it comes to my belongings, and the fact that Java is messing up is making me actually stressed. In short, I still want the above issue solved, even if it's just purely for the sake of Peace Of Mind.
Another note: I would (please!) appreciate a timely response on this matter. Even if the response is a "We don't know what the issue is and/or we are working to solve this issue.", that would satisfy me for the time being. I would just like a semi-timely response that would let me know that FF/contributors here have read the above and actually give a semblance of a care about their userbase.

Frame work order - Process

Hi Friends,
We are using Blanket Purchase order(Order type- FO) for purchasing materials and services for the period of 2 years.
We have one scenario, i don't know, how it will affect the Frame work Order.
The scenario is,We have FO for the quantity of 10000 Materials in the period of Nov 2008 to Nov 2010. And every month, we are calling vendor and tell him to send the material for the quantity of 100.
First situation, we need more materials i.e 500 during Nov 2009 due to market demand in that case how Frame work order works, do we need to change Frame work order?. is it possible?.
Second situation, During the month of Sep 2009, vendor is informing us that he can not give the same materials for same price due to increase in cost of materials. How Frame work order works, do we need to create new Frame work order or FO can be changed?.
Appreciate your help.

First situation: not possible, you can not change the frame work order, you have to create new purchase order for 500 qty
Second situation: also not possible, for the changed price, create purchase order for the new price for the excess qty.

How to use Adobe Interactive forms with ISR frame work in Webdynpro forJava

Anybody worked on Adobe Interactive forms with ISR frame work in Webdynpro for Java in ESS/MSS development.
We have already searched in ISR_Cookbook_2004, however we didn't anything related webdynpro for java in that.
Any information regarding this will be of great help.

There are a number of issues here. A form that you created with LiveCycle Designer (XFA) cannot be used with FormsCentral. An Acroform, the kind you can create with Acrobat, can be used with FormsCentral, with certain limitations, one of which is skip logic. A dynamic XFA form allows for this type of thing, but as mentioned, they don't work with FormsCentral. You can set up an Acroform to show/hide or activate/inactivate fields based on selections or entries made in other fields, but you'd have to set this up in Acrobat, not FormsCentral. So you can set up something roughly equivalent to a web form's skip logic, but you'd have to learn how to do this in Acrobat using JavaScript. There is a separate Acrobat JavaScript forum here if you have any questions.

How does java basically work?

I know that java makes use of many classes which have inherent methods that do our work. But I want to know how those methods work. where are the files for its running? Like in println, how does it output to the console?
please explain.

If you want to see the source code of the standard API classes it's very easy - during the installation of the jdk you can choose to install it. In that case there will be a large file called src.jar in the JDK installation directory. You can extract the sources from it with eg. winzip or the "jar" command line tool.

Adapter Frame Work - Engine and APIs for using the various adapters at run time.
PCK - Partner connectivity kit. Used for communicating with partners where there is no fullblown integration engine available.
JCA - Java connectivity architecture. Used for connecting to the java engine capabilities and use them.
But the SDN help would give you more detailed and easy to understand material. Do spend some time for searching.. you will not be discouraged.

OA Frame Work

Hi.
I am a java developer but new to OA Frame work.
I am trying to write a new Oracle Application in JDeveloper Studio Edition 10.1.3.3.0.3 using OAF. Patch p8431482_R12_GENERIC downloaded from Oracle web site for APPS (R12)
I am using UBUNTU OS. Development is going on UBUNTU OS.
I could create a new OA Work space and a Project.
Also I was able to give the .dbc file of R12.
And also I could connect to the database.
I got a pdf which has instructions of development and I followed that.
But while running the project I am getting the error 'No .dbc file found' though I gave the dbc file.
Can any one help me pls....
