There are 100's of free apps and things in the iTunes store.
Just load iTunes, click on iTunes Store, and then App Store. From here you can see the top 10 free apps. Click 'See All' to view more. You can also view just the games by choosing Games in the drop down menu under App Store. Again you can set it to just view the free ones. If you select a type of game, you can view all the free ones in that section.
You can also do all this on the iPad itself.

How to get the top most community given a sub community ID

Hi,
I have developed a custom navigation scheme with top level communities as top nav and the sub communities of the top level communities in the left nav.
Now when the user selects a particular sub community in the left nav the top level community in the top nav should be highlighted.
I am able to get the first level parent community of the current community but not able to recursively reach the top most community.
I have tried the following piece of code
IPTCommunityManager ptOM = (IPTCommunityManager) ptMgr.GetInterfaces("IPTCommunityManager");
IPTCommunityInfo ptCommunityInfo = ptOM.CachedOpenCommunityInfo(communityID ,true);
IPTQueryResult result = ptCommunityInfo.GetParentCommunity() ;
I dont know how to get the communityID from result
Any pointers in this regards will be very helpful

To get community ID from the result just use this code:
int nCommID = result.ItemAsInt(0, PT_PROPIDS.PT_PROPID_OBJECTID);
The NavigationModel class in portalpages project has a wealth of code dealing with these types of tasks. Look around there if you don't know how to code something, it is a good source for examples.
You would then get the CommunityInfo object for the parent community ID and call GetParentCommunity again until you reach the top. The IPTCommunityInfo objects are cached so the performance will not be too bad.

Mouse position outside of the top-most container

I know how to acquire the position of the mouse through either the MouseListener or MouseMotionListener interfaces by calling the getX() and getY() of the MouseEvent class.
But if the mouse is moved outside of the top-most container, eg. a JFrame, then the methods in the two listener interfaces above aren't called.
So, does anyone know how I can retrieve the position of the mouse if it is outside the JFrame?

As far as I know this is not possible using pure Java. Search the native methods forum for the OS(s) you are supporting and this topic.

Why wont Firefox allow me to click on the top most menu bars on websites? For instance that top-most blue menu bar on facebook.

The top-most menu/options bar on websites where you could do things like log out, view your own profile, or change settings is what I was referring to. I can't click on anything up there, but I can click on everything else on the site.

That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar or the Babylon extension that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links and buttons in that part of the screen not clickable.

From all the links in the portal, Need to Display the Top Ten Most Accessed Links BY Users in an Iveiw.
1) When the user clicks on the link, it is stored in a trace file.
2)No of clicks in the Portal are of high Volume.25000+
3)I have created the Java program to seggregete the data.but it uses the buffered input Output operations in the memory. it may memory problems in Production System.
4) can we use BI method to handle the Large Amount of data??
5) do we have any Trace File Extractor kind of Tool to seggregate the data?
Need u r Suggestion to Which Approach i Should Take up BI or EP(Potal Components)??

Hi Mahesh,
Using the Portal Activity Report (PAR) will allow you to collect the following data: visited pages and iviews and who visited those pages and iviews.
the data will be collected and flushed to your Database.
The PAR has it's out of the box reports that you can use for your needs.
If you decided to use the Activity Data Collector (ADC) the data will be collected and saved to text based files on your operating system.
The ADC doesn't have an out of the box report system but it is able to collect more types of data and it is more configurable.

How do I run Firefox with the top most bar which has the Firefox logo on left and the "minimize window", maximize" and the "X" that closes the window? (Windows 7 - 64 bits and Linux).

Firefox's "full screen" view does that automatically. You can use the F11 function key to enter and exit full screen mode.
By default, the tab bar and Navigation Toolbar also are hidden in full screen view. To keep those displayed, move your mouse pointer to the top of the screen and they should slide down temporarily. Right-click a blank area of the tab bar or right-click the new tab ("+") button and uncheck "Hide Toolbars". When you move your mouse away, they should stay on the screen.

It's pamonvashon again (the person who posted the question). I fixed it so I'll tell you how in case it happens to you. I was correct. I went back and re downloaded the game, "Virble". At the beginning of the game o I used the buttons on the side of the phone to turn the sound off and on and the sound came on! A miracle! So beware of VIRBLE!!!

You can contact iTunes and ASK for a refund. Then make make an exception to their all sale are final policy.

Thanks but this isn't what I need. I need a URL that directly downloads with wget so I can automate it. This takes you to a page that contains links. I'd have to scrape the page to find the one I want, and while that isn't impossible it is a huge over-complication for something that should really be pretty simple.
