Tell Windows that 6680 supports Ogg files

Hi!
This is a bit complicated, but I will try my best:
When I install PC Suite my Phone(6680) get's detected as a Phone via "Nokia Phone Browser". When I now install Windows Media Player 11 it get's detected as a Camera and as a Mobile directly in "My Computer" too.
Now, in Winamp it shows up in the Media Library and you could do rightclick --> send to --> Nokia 6680 Memory Card.
In the Winamp Preferences you could set up Winamp to automatically encode files to a specified format befor transfering them to the device.
I Installed http://symbianoggplay.sf.net on my phone, which contains a player and an ogg codec. So the ogg player, nokia's internal player (gallery) and the ringtone feature support ogg files (which are way better quality and lower size than AAC, MP3 and that stuff).
But Winamp, Windows and the Windows Media Player - Mobile Phone Driver don't know that the phone now supports ogg.
So when I tell wianmp to encode files in ogg format I get a Format not supported by device error.
Additionally when I try to copy ogg filed to the mobile device in "My Computer" windows tells me that my phone doesn't support the format and i could only use it to transfer this file to another location.
So, from my point of view I see a few possibilities:
1. Tell SymbianOggPlay to tell the phone to report to the computer that it supports ogg.
2. Tell the phone directly to report to the computer that it supports ogg.
3. Tell Nokia PC suite that my phone supports ogg (i think the "Windows Media Player"-Driver internally uses the PC-Suite or it's drivers.
4. Tell the "Windows Media Player"-Driver that the phone supports ogg (if the phone doesn't report anything about what formats it supports and the driver just has a list of which device supports which formats.
5. Tell Winamp that my phone could handle ogg files.
I tried 1. by asking the author of symbianoggplay but he told me i'm at a dead end here.
I also tried 5. but unlike with an usb stick, winamp doesn't offer the ability to specify supported file formats...
So, what do you suggest?
thx in Advance
Cheers,
nomike aka Michael Postmann

Hi,
For your issue, please add the SharePoint 2010 site to the compatibility view in the Internet Explorer:
1. Turn on the compatibility view, go to Tools > Compatibility View settings.
2. Add your SharePoint website to the compatibility view. Or check the box "display all websites in compatibility view".
The Windows 10 Technical Preview is here today, but it’s a long way from done. We’re going to make it faster,
better. So I don’t suggest you using Windows 10 Technical Preview for business.
Best Regards,
Lisa Chen

Is there a update for Photoshop Elements 8 that will support raw files from a Canon T3i 600d?

    You have two alternatives:
    (1) Upgrade to PSE 9,10 or 11. (2) Download and install the free Adobe DNG converter to convert your raw files to the Adobe universal Raw format and the files will open in all versions of PSE (keep your originals as backups and for use in the camera manufactures software)
Windows download click here DNG Converter 7.3
Mac download click here DNG Converter 7.3
You can convert a whole folder of raw images in one click. See this quick video tutorial:

    Hey Podieboy,
Thanks for the question. It sounds like you are receiving a message about missing files when you start iTunes. The following resource may provide more information:

  • Is there something comparable to My Documents in Windows that will allow pdf files in Quickoffice to appear?

I have an iPad 2. I need to send pdf files from Quickoffice to my school's copy center for duplication to distribute to my students. When I click on choose files at the SUNY's copy center, I am only able to access Camera Roll and Photo Stream. Is there something comparable to My Documents in Windows that will allow pdf files in Quickoffice to appear?

Perhaps I am not clearly stating my problem. I always used my desktop or laptop to send files that were handouts to the copy center since I do not use a textbook for one English class. Both crashed within a two-day span so until I can get one fixed, I am hoping to use the iPad. I have all my files saved as PDF files in my email. I have added the Quickoffice app and transferred next week files from school email to Quickoffice. When I access SUNY's website to send my files to be copied and click on choose file, all that is there are photos. If there is not a central location in iOS, then how would I manually sync the files in Quickoffice to whatever is allowing the photo files to appear?

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

  • How do you repair the EFI systems partitions when you mac tells you that the live file system is not supported?

how do you repair the EFI systems partitions when you mac tells you that the live file system is not supported?

I don't have good news. You will need to repartition and reformat the hard drive in order to determine if the drive is still OK or if it needs to be replaced. If your computer is a 2011 model or later do the following:
Install Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion. Mavericks: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
This should restore the version of OS X originally pre-installed on the computer.
If your computer is pre-2011 model, then locate the original installer discs that came with the computer. Then do this:
    Clean Install of Snow Leopard
Be sure to make a backup first because the following procedure will erase
the drive and everything on it.
         1. Boot the computer using the Snow Leopard Installer Disc or the Disc 1 that came
with your computer.  Insert the disc into the optical drive and restart the computer.
After the chime press and hold down the  "C" key.  Release the key when you see
a small spinning gear appear below the dark gray Apple logo.
         2. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue
button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
After DU loads select the hard drive entry from the left side list (mfgr.'s ID and drive
size.)  Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.  Set the number of
partitions to one (1) from the Partitions drop down menu, click on Options button
and select GUID, click on OK, then set the format type to MacOS Extended
(Journaled, if supported), then click on the Apply button.
         3. When the formatting has completed quit DU and return to the installer.  Proceed
with the OS X installation and follow the directions included with the installer.
         4. When the installation has completed your computer will Restart into the Setup
Assistant. Be sure you configure your initial admin account with the exact same
username and password that you used on your old drive. After you finish Setup
Assistant will complete the installation after which you will be running a fresh
install of OS X.  You can now begin the update process by opening Software
Update and installing all recommended updates to bring your installation current.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1. You can now download a version of OS X from which to upgrade from your Purchases page in the App Store.

I am trying to install windows 7 on my macbook pro 13", when i run bootcamp it tells me that there is not a windows support software available for my computer. Where can i get the windows support software for my macbook?

Apple only supports Windows on certain hardware.
    http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/
Apple provides their framework for Windows to run on a Mac, a piece of software called a Hybrid MBR that bridges the gap between how Windows reads the drive partition table (MBR) and EFI/GUID partition table that Mac's use.
It doesn't mean Windows can't run on your Mac, a third party solution called rEFIt will also bridge the gap and allow booting of more that just Windows, Linux as well for a triple booting computer.
Your hardware has to meet the other requirements the second and third operating system needs as as being able to install drivers that will work for your hardware, especially the fans or they will run loud and fast by default.
    http://refit.sourceforge.net/
This above is a advanced procedure which requires knowledge how computers and various operating systems, drive formats and so forth work.
I even admit I don't know everything myself, but I experiment on a separate piece of Mac hardware (out of warranty/AppleCare) designed for this purpose so in case something screws up I'm not taking down my only machine and can use the other to get online and find solutions.
There is a very high potential for losing your data if your using advanced/non-Apple methods to install Windows on your only Mac where Apple doesn't support it. Also one shouldn't be doing this on Mac hardware that is under AppleCare or warranty as it might be voided. Proceed at your own risk and education.

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 10 running on? And, what video card/graphics card does that computer use?
Is this the first time you are using Premiere Elements 10 or have you worked with it before successfully? There is no easy solution until we
know the details and troubleshoot to determined what caused the problem.
    1. Can you open a new project?
    2. After you saved/closed the problem project, did you move, delete, or rename any of the files/folder that were related to the source media
    for that project?
    3. Please review the Adobe document on troubleshooting damaged projects.
