TEM - Generate To Do list is not displayed

Hi
We are running on a 4.7 (add-on 1.0) and are about to implement Training & Event on a global scale.
The Master Data Catalogue for TEM is created together with the appraisal documents that we want to use.
I have created a relationship between object D and BS (Business event appraisal) but that just gives me a chance to select which appraisal document I wan't to create.
My problem is that I cannot get the system to display the 'Generate To Do list'.
I hope that someone has an idea of what I'm missing to configure.

Are you referring to something I posted here or on my site?
This bug was reported a few weeks back and I believe it was reported. However, the more people who report it affects them etc...

Thanks for reply.
I have activated SAP* user & then able to login in NWA.
But found that UMEBackendConnection RFC is already present in Configuration Management -->Security Management -->Destinations & connection test also successful.
When I reverted changes & tried to start the java again got the same error.
JCO_ERROR_RESOURCE: Destination UMEBackendConnection does not exist".
So here,I think that Java unable to connect or identify backend destination.Is there any way we can bypass this check?

Hi,
Although I have not encountered this error in my installation copy - you can try the following:
Take the zip file for NWDS to another machine and install it. If you do get the same error - then the zip file was damanged in the transfer - if not then probably it is an issue with the Microsoft Installer files that you are using. If you are using a legal version of Windows then upgrade to the latest updates and then try again. You can try the same steps after shutting down and restarting your PC.
Most probably the zip file is damaged since the MSI has run successfully.for the CE WAS.

Email list will not display individual addresses and names , only name of list.

First time user of lists. I created a new email list per help instructions-- created just fine. When I try to use it to write, no matter which methods I use, only the list name is displayed. It does send the email to all the addresses, but I want to be able to see all the individual addresses so bcc or removal etc. can be used prior to sending. Any suggestions?

Does the list description include spaces? If so, try to use a name without spaces or replace spaces with "_", there has been a bug about this reported as [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1060901 Bug #1060901]. If you have an account on Bugzilla, please consider voting for that issue.
Several other people have sent in the similar support requests to yous, noting this happened after they upgraded to version 31.1.
The exact error message is: XXXX is not a valid e-mail address because it is not of the form user@host. You must correct it before sending the e-mail.

Although not ideal, these workarounds should let you use your mailing lists until a proper fix is implemented:
* While composing an email open the address book and select the list you are trying to send to, highlight all the names in the list and drag them to the To: box. This uses your existing data without modifying it.
* Replacing the blanks " " between the words in such lists' descriptions with an underscore "_". This requires modifying your mailing list(s) description(s).
* Downgrade to a previous version and disable automatic updates (Windows)

Robo 5 generated Help File (CHM) is not displaying the target Help page

Hi,
I am using Robo 5. AFter generating the CHM file and linked to the target application, the CHM file is not displaying content for a specific page.
The concerned topic, for which the CHM is not displaying content, is included in TOC also.
When the target topic in the TOC is clicked, the CHM file is displaying the following message: Navigation to the webpage was canceled.
Can anybody tell me why it is happening like that?

Does it display OK if you open the help independently of the application?
If it does, then the problem has to be in the call.

backing_shuttle is based on tutorial ShuttlePageBackingBeanBase managed bean class that uses functionality from ADFUtils class.
I've configured managed bean properties in faces-config.xml and running jspx file I can see that ="#{backing_shuttle.selectedValues}" are being filled with data. However when a page appears there is initailly no data under the trailingHeader (panel). #{backing_shuttle.allItems} is being filled and that is being shown correctly on a panel.
Any help would be appreciated

This is solved, only values that appears in leading list can be displayed in the trailing list. However I have now problem with selectOneListbox adf element.
The list is dynamically rendered from iterator and I assigned managed bean method to ValueChangedListener but this method is not being called when other value from the list is selected. So now the model is not being refreshed.

Video icon in buddy list does not display when iChat not running?

I have my father-in-law's computer setup to automatically log into iChat when he turns on the computer. However, it does not say he can video chat (the icon does not display) until he actually opens iChat. Is there any way around this? The only thing I thought of was to get iChat to open at login and just not display the buddy list.
Basically, I want him to be available to video chat with his grand daughter...but he doesn't need to see the buddy list or the app for that matter. She would initiate all chats.

I am trying to imagine what you have done here.
It is possible to have iChat as a Login Item.
It is possible for iChat to start Up with the Buddy Lists hidden.
From there Chats can be started from the File menu or Apple key and N together.
To do it this way you have to know the Screen Name of who you are calling.
You should be able to accept incoming A/V chats.

To Dos list -- items not displayed there

Earlier today, I had a number of items showing in the to dos list (right-hand column) in iCal.
Then I had a crash of my machine and had to restart (that's a separate issue which I believe is now resolved). I don't know if the crash has anything to do with this, because there are no other visible effects.
Now those to dos aren't displayed there any more. But they do show up in the "search results list". I can click on them and display them in the "show info" drawer. For example, there's one that was due yesterday and is not completed, and another that is due tomorrow. So these items are still in the database.
I could see those kinds of items in the to dos list yesterday, but I don't now.
Does anybody know why that would be?

I don't use mail.app, I use gyazmail, so these were created in iCal.

If I click on them in the search area, they show up in the "Show info" drawer. Double clicking is only different in that it causes the title to be selected.

Not sure what you mean. I do have the alarm set to "message with sound."
I used Entourage for a number of years, and just recently decided to give iCal a go. I hope I can get it working well enough that to dos show up reliably in the to do list! Otherwise, I'll have to go back to Entourage...

MRBR list - Docs not displayed even if there is a block

Hi Gurus
Even if there are quantity and prices blocks in the MM doument , the MRBR list doesnot display the blocked documents.
As a result we are not able to release the documents and remove the block.
1. What could be the possible reason for this?
2. And is there any other way to remove the block on MM document without going through MRBR.?
3. Also if the Invoice is cancelled than the cancelled invoice too has the block in it.
Than does the cancelled invoice is shown in the MRBR list?

Hello Rutvj,
A payment block can be removed on the FI side and still remain on the MRBR output. You can verify by viewing the change history on the accounting document that was posted as a result of the MM invoice. If this is the case, you would have to manual release the block in MRBR. Typically the process would be to resolve the issue thru MM resolution depending on the type of block.
If you decide to cancel the MM invoice, the originating invoice would be removed from the MRBR output.

E1200 Wireless Client List will not display and causes web UI to temporarily stop responding

I picked up an E1200 and set it up successfully. I am using wireless MAC filtering, and decided to pull up the list of connected wireless clients (Wireless >> Wireless MAC Filter >> push "Wireless Client List" button).
When I do so, it immediately throws this back:
Immediately after this the Web UI of the E1200 becomes inaccessible. It still routes traffic, and the router remains pingable, but it will not allow access to the Web UI for several minutes. The error that appears upon attempt to access the Web UI during this time window is similar to the above, but reads "Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): The server refused the connection."
I have tried this in Google Chrome, Firefox 4, and MSIE on two separate computers. Each browser displays the error a bit differently (MSIE, for example, just says it can't display the page and gives no further detail) but the net results are always the same. I have tried resetting the device to factory defaults in addition to re-downloading the firmware from the Cisco/Linksys website and installing it. No improvement.
I have also noted that the Log (Administration >> Log; and yes, I have it enabled) doesn't appear to be picking up anything at all. In fact, the Security log, which supposedly (according to the Help) "displays the login information for the Router’s browser-based utility," is also blank.
Is this a bug, or should I head back to the retailer and swap this device?

Ok - I nailed this down, I think, and it looks like a firmware bug.
Short version is that a factory reset cleared the issue, but during stepwise reconfiguration the problem came back. Through a bunch of iteration I figured out that if I have the E1200's DHCP server disabled *and* have wireless clients connected to it, the problem I described appears.
Turn the DHCP server back on and the problem goes away. Turn it off and the problem comes back. Turn it back on and it goes away. You get the idea.
If I had to pose a theory here, it's that the initial display of the Wireless Client List, which uses "IP Address" as the default sort, somehow implodes if the E1200 isn't actually assigning those IP addresses to the clients.
When this happens it appears to crash the Web UI wholesale. Just for grins, while the Web UI was unresponsive, I pinged the router it as before - still pingable - then ran nmap against it - no open ports found on the router. When the Web UI is functional, though, nmap detects port 80 quite easily. I have not timed how long it takes for the Web UI to come back up, but it is longer than 5 minutes, and I presume some sort of watchdog process has to detect that it has gone kaput and start it up again.
Final test was to restore my saved configuration from before the factory reset (note that the saved config was done under the same firmware version, and in this config, the DHCP server is disabled). Boom, problem. Wait for the Web UI to come back, turn on the DHCP server. Problem goes away. Turn the DHCP server off. Boom, problem comes back.
So, there you go.
Would be interesting if someone could verify this via a test against another E1200. It may be worth noting that in my baseline test I was also using Manual wireless setup (vs. Wi-Fi Protected Setup), and WPA2. Didn't make any other setting changes from the factory defaults. I did not actually have to turn the Wireless MAC Filter on to do the test. All one needs to do is click Enable on the Wireless MAC Filter tab, and then do *not* click Save Settings - just clicking Enable will light up the Wireless Client List button, which you can then push to get the list. That is how I handled testing to ensure that neither specific entries, nor the Prevent/Permit setting, nor having the filter enabled in saved configuration were involved in the problem.
Separately, no explanation for the lack of entries in the security log, but that pretty much looks like a firmware bug to me as well.

Calendar list does not display all events of the day

Using calendar on iphone 3GS, I've found that if I select the 'list' option then not all the events in my calendar display. It's a pain to have to keep reverting to 'day' option to double check that I'm not missing any events. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it a bug or is there something I can do to correct it?

I have exactly the same problem, I expirienced it today the first time, but I actually do not use the list view often. In the list view, I'm missing quite a lot of events, I first thought it went something wrong with exchange sync and tried around about an hour till I found out, that all events are basically on the phone and also shown in day and month view, but not in the list view.

Power Pivot Field list in not displayed in Power Pivot-Ribbon / Missing Power View-Ribbon

I've got the following probem, when I add a Pivot Table from inside the Power Pivot Data Model I only get the ordinary Pivottable Field list.
When I look into the Power Pivot Ribbon there is
no 'Field list' inside the ribbon. Not even a disabled one (grey) is visible.
And there's another problem, I miss the Power View-Ribbon, there is nothing available in the ribbon, although the Power View-AddIn is activated.
My configuration
Windows 7 - 64 bit
Office 2010 - 32 bit incl. Power Pivot - everything with Power Pivot works fine
Excel 2013 - 32 bit incl. Power Pivot - here's the missing Power Pivot Field list / Power View-Ribbon
Does anyone has an idea for a solution? Thanks in advance.

There is no ribbon for Power View in Excel 2013, you need to go to INSERT tab > Power View Reports. Once you insert a Power View Report, you will see the Power View tab.
To answer your first question about PowerPivot, It is called PivotTabel Field List and it is not under PowerPivot tab, once you click on PivotTable, you should see at the top PIVOTTABLE TOOLS with Analyze and Design tabs.

Music list will not display whole page

I have just bought a new Tower with Vista and I have downloaded iTunes 8.0 to work on it. All seems well except that when I am trying to scroll down my list of music in the main library I can only scroll the bottom 6 or 8 songs. The majority if the page is static. If I click on one of the few that do scroll then the complete page will change to what it should be. I thought maybe I had downloaded a corrupt version of iTunes so I uninstalled and reinstalled it to the same effect. I am downloading the version offered which is the 64 bit version but I am not sure if my Vista is 64 bit even though I read that all modern sales are and as mine is less than a fortnight old I assume it is? I am tempted to sort out a 32 bit version or even download a version 7 but I thought that someone here might point me in the right direction?
