Temperature concerns(its very worrying)

Hi, I have a IMac 9,1 on a intel core 2 duo.Here are the specs: Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac9,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz

Total Number Of Cores: 2

Recently i have been running on bootcamp XP due to some software needs. And it has come to my attention that the Imac gets really really hot at the top left hand corner of the screen. SO now i have a few main concerns:
1) Is it normal to have so much heat at the top-left hand corner? I'm in asia, so the temp could get quite high sometimes.
2)Will it damage the hard drive or anything else due to the high amount of heat?
3)WIll Apple warranty be void because I am running xp bootcamp?
4)Is there anything i can do on xp to lower the heat?Increase fan speed?
I would really appreciate any help on this matter, as this computer is of great importance to me & my work now. Thank you

The GPU is high, and since Boot Camp is an Apple application, it certainly doesn't void your warranty.
What is the ambient temperature of the room your computer is in?

TRANSFER n_tab to p_file.

SQL SELECT Query Help ..Please its very Urgent!!

I am having Oracle Database whice is storing 1000's of records daily.
I need to select some information based on date and time.
I am having two coloumns for Date and time. The first column(testDate) of type Date stores date as MM/DD/YY format and the second column(testTime)of type Numeric stores the time in seconds.
The Example data is :

11/12/2002 --- 43000
11/12/2002 --- 45000

How can i write a SELECT Query to get the records of specific date and seconds to next day specific date and seconds.I mean i want all the records between 11/12/2002 --- 43000 seconds to 11/14/2002 --- 1000 seconds.

its giving DATE FORMAT NOT RECOGNIZED error.

Probably you know that the new version of Numbers for iOS uses the filters created in the Numbers for Mac version.
It's not the best solution but it helps (of course, if you have a Mac!)

I have created a "process workflow" using OWB and deployed it successfully. Now, I would like to schedule this process. I have installed management server and tried to schedule it but all in vain. I am not able to understand anything. I have read "oracle administrator pdf" and couldnt understand anything. Please dont advise me to read any notes or pdf's because I have tried a lot and was not able to figure out the configuration.
I have a target database named "TARGET". I would like to schedule the workflow process I have created. I am not able to understand preferred credentials and how to execute the XML script generated by the "process workflow". Please help me coz its very urgent.

Why dont you try this? I found it after few tries,
In the create job dialog box
under General
for Override Node Preferred Credentials for entire job
username and password should be the NT or Unix
login where your Runtime database Server reside.
under Parameter
for Override preferred credentials
username and password should be of your runtime
repository user

sounds like you broke the display when you dropped it. There's nothing we users here can do for you.
Since the iPhone warranty does not cover accidental damage, you will have to pay to have your phone repaired or replaced. You can bring it into Apple for an out of warranty exchange in the country of purchase, or you can find a 3rd party iPhone repair store in your area.

Sounds like something is shorting out inside your machine or electricity is coming up through your ground wire.
Do you have a proper ground in your location? Don't open or touch anything with a live current insdie, it can kill you
The ground is that third plug in the socket, there should be a wire attached to that, perhaps green, that follows to the electrical panel and from the electrical panel to a thick cable that goes outside to a rod driven deep into the ground or attached to metal sewer plumbing (although I think this isn't legal anymore)
Some people plug their three prong computer power bricks into two pronged (no ground) extension cords, this is very improper and offers no safety protection.
Sometimes if you have a electrical problem elsewhere in the location, electricity flows back up the ground wire and you feel a slight pain when using your machine with a metal case. This also could be a improperly grounded system. There are ground fault interupters for this you can buy, doesn't let electricty flow backwards, audio people use them to prevent noise coming into their equipment.
The current level the MacBook Pro's use is very low DC current, you shouldn't be feeling anything but it's possible.
Have your electrical system checked out by a electrician, also take the MacBook Pro to a more newer location with power and see if it continues.
If it occurs while on battery, no power attached, then it looks like a MacBook Pro specific issue. Perhaps your battery is swelling.

Let us assume that i try to load the file Hello.Java into the user scott.

You must drop the java class if you already have loaded the class onto the server.
dropjava -u scott/tiger Hello.class
2) load class on server and let the server compile the source code.
It is necessary to compile the source code on the server when the server and the local machine have different Java versions. To check which Java version there is running on the client machine open a command prompt and write Java -version
loadjava -user scott/tiger -resolve Hello.java
3) Publish stored procedure
sqlplus scott/tiger@oracle

Hi ,
1.)You must have to create a EO based on custom table and then VO based on this EO eventually to save the values in DB
2.) the row.setNewRowState(Row.STATUS_INITIALIZED); is used to set the the status of row as inialized ,this is must required.
3.) When u will create the VO based on EO the viewattributes will be created in VO which will be assigned to the fields to take care the db handling .
You must go thtough the lab excercise shipped with you Jdeveloper ,there is a example of Create Employee page ,that will solve your number of doubts.
