Template Builder add in not visible in word 2007

I have installed the word plugin 4 months back till now it worked fine but one hour back when tried give sample xml word freezed so i restared the computer
now i am unable to see world plugin in word . i tried to reinstall but no solution..

Click on Office Button -> Word Options ->Add-ins -> Manage ->Word Add-ins and ensure that Templatebuilder.dot, TBCrosstab.dot and WordAnalyzer are checked/enabled.
I have noticed that sometimes when Word crashes or aborts, these options get disabled.

Adobe Acrobat v8.1.2 - PDFMaker COM Add-in not loading in Word 2007

PDFMaker COM Add-in is now not loading in Word 2007 at startup. But, it loads just fine for the rest of the Office 2007 apps. It loaded just fine, all operational, until 1-2 months ago. Now I have no access to Acrobat in Word 2007 except for print to that printer. There are now no buttons on the ribbon for direct access to Adobe Acrobat functions as there used to be. When I look in the COM add-ins area of Word 2007, it tells me PDF Maker is not loaded and that I cannot change the connected state of Office Add-ins registered in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE in the Regedit.
Am running MS Office 2007 SP-1 on Vista SP-1 x82. This behavior was going on before the recent SP-1's were installed, so pre-existing condition. Everything else is performing quite well. REALLY! I am very pleased with Vista.

I had the same issue. The COM Add-In for PDFMaker was disabled by Word 2007 due to an unexpected crash during the creation of a PDF. I have searched all over the place trying to find a way to get the PDFMaker functionality active again in Word 2007 including the solutions mentioned in this post. In the end I found a solution myself.
1. Go to Word Options > Add-ins
2. Go to the Manage drop down dialog at the bottom of the page and select Disabled Items. Click Go.
3. A dialog will open that displays all the disabled add-ins. Select Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Addin.
4. Click the Enable button.
5. Close and reopen MS Word and the Acrobat menu should be available again.

AD RMS 2012 Templates/Permissions [Option] is not visible at Outlook 2013 in Nokia Windows 8 Mobile Device

I have AD RMS 2012 Server, its working fine by applying restricted Templates/Permissions on OWA, Outlook & other MS Office Tools (Word Excel, PowerPoint). But the AD RMS Templates/Permissions [Option] is not visible at Outlook 2013 in Nokia Windows
8 Mobile Device.
Actually I would like to protect email with RMS templates (defined by me on AD RMS 2012 Server) but the [Permission] tab is not visible at Outlook 2013 in Nokia Windows 8 Mobile Device.
But I can do same with Android OS in Samsung Galaxy Mobile Device & I can see [Permission] tab as well to protect an email messages.
Any idea??

Currently, you can't use WP 8 to protect docs/emails with ADRMS templates. YOu can however use transport rules on Exchange server side to configure automatic ADRMS protection.

Add Ins tab disappears in Word 2007

Hi -
I installed Tutor 14 and I am having problem with the Add In.
I am using Word 2007 - and when I create a new Tutor document, I can see the Add In tab at first. But as soon as I update the Document Properties, the Add In tab disappears.
What is the issue with this, can anyone help? The OS is XP.

It may be a corrupt normal.dotm.
Try deleting it.
Close Word, find where normal.dot resides (should be in the same folder as Author.dot) and delete normal.dotm
A new one will regenerate next time you open Word.
Another cause could be other product's dot files that are installed to the Word start up folder.
These may over-ride the Author.dot
Examples are the snagit.dot, palm.dot, etc.
Remove these from Word's startup folder and see if the behavior persisits.

Using RRW3_WEBRFC to insert BW query template into BSP: chart not visible

Hi people,
I've done a BSP page which calls a BW query template throught RRW3_WEBRFC function and inserts its code in the BSP. I've used the example code BW web reporting inside a BSP page. and all is OK but the charts.
Charts are not displayed. I change the "<img src..." of the dowloaded HTML and the chart is displayed in Firefox, but not in Internet Explorer. I've asked more people to test the BSP page with its Explorer, a no one can see the image.
Does anyone have an idea about whats happening? Maybe some system variable of the web server in SICF is distincting the Client Navigator?

Whew! I figured out a really awesome solution, which has a
ton of uses.
First of all, as I should have realized, ANY variable in a
coldfusion tag is going to be figured out when the report is
called, NOT for every query result. In other words, query.xxx or
report.xxx or whatever is NEVER going to work correctly inside of a
tag, not even in a report function or the Advanced Query builder.
However, there is a straightforward way around this. Simply
make a report function with arguments, and in your field's
expression editor call the function and pass in the query or report
variables:
#report.yourFunction(query.field1, query.field2)#
You can do all sorts of Coldfusion function magic and return
whatever form of result you want.
For my particular example (dynamically creating a query
object for a chart to be inserted), I had to add a not-so-obvious
step: creating my query object with a shared scope (in this case,
the Request scope), otherwise the variable is trapped in the
function's scope. So this was my solution: I had a chart with the
"Print When" option calling my function "getChartQuery" (passing in
the query variables, of course). The function builds
"Request.ThisChartQuery" and returns True if there's something in
it (the "Print When" logic uses the boolean to decide whether to
show the chart or not). Then my chart is still query-based, but the
Advanced Query builder has NOTHING in it at all, except for the
variable containing the query object ("Request.ThisChartQuery").
There was another solution I found where the report function
makes the entire chart (using cfchart tags, etc) and saves it as a
PNG file, and then returns the path to the image. Then you simply
add an image field to the report, and you use the expression
builder to call the function. Well, hope this helped someone!

BI Publisher Tab not visible in Windows 2007 with Windows 7 64 bit Config

Hi All,
I was working with BI Publisher till last week in my system having windows 7 64 bit edition with Windows Word 2007 installed. When i started my work on Tuesday this week, i was not able to see the BI publisher Tab in the Word. But it's visible in Excel. I tried looking in to the forum and got solutions such as Enabling Macros, Enabling the Trust Access to VBA Project Model and Re installing Word and BI Publisher.I tried everything but still the issue is not resolved.
I dont find any *.exd file present in my system to prevent the Add-Ins from displaying. I'm not sure what update had made the BI Publisher to be hidden. Please let me know if you any suggestion or workaround as my project is in critical state with strict deadlines.

If you cannot show the BI Publisher Macros in Word :
1.     You have to uninstall the BI Publisher desktop
2.     Install the BI Publisher as (Right-click on the "Command Prompt" item and select "Run as administrator".)
3.     If you cannot show the BI Publisher macros and in word options show TBmenu as disable you have to do :
4.     Click the Microsoft Office Button , click Word Options, and then click Add-Ins.
5.     In the Add-ins box, identify the add-in that you want to enable and note the Add-in type located in the Type column.
6.     Select the Add-in type in the Manage box and then click Go
7.     Select the check box for the Add-in that you want enable and then click OK.
8.     Close the word
9.     Reopen the word , than appear the BI Publisher

Pdfmaker not working in word 2007

Hi guys
I'm an IT Technican in college. A guy in marketing department has problem with pdfmaker add-in in office word 2007.
I logged in as administrator and there was pdfmaker button in word 2007, but when he logged in, he doesnt have the pdfmaker button in word 2007.
i checked addin tool, on his account, his is disabled but whenever i try to enable it.
the message comes up saying -
"this addin is installed for all users on this computer, and can only be connected or disconnected by an administrator"
BUT on my account (administrator) the addin is already enabled.
what even more strange. on his account, rest of office 2007 applications (excel, powerpoint etc) have the pdfmaker button, but not word 2007.
how to fix the problem?
adobe is fully up to date.

Disable settings in Office are per user basis, so it can happen that it is disabled for the user and not for you.
How did you try to enable it ? did you use the dialog that comes up by Word Options>Add-ins>Disabled Items>Go

I have approved the above patches in WSUS and ran syncronization. The log wsyncmgr.log show that synchronization is done and even all child sites are syncronized. But I am unable to find the above even in the parent site. Checked all the SUP settings and
all the 2008 server updates are set and marked to download.
Please help me out on fixing this.

So you should NEVER approve anything in WSUS. This will cause problems with your clients. Honestly since you approved things in WSUS, I would uninstall WSUS and reinstall it, reinstall the SUP, this will clear up any issues that now exist.

J6480 not printing to word 2007 or word 2003!

Relatively new J6480 AIO will not print a word document from Word 2007 or 2003 version. All other forms of documents from the office suite can be printed i.e. Excel, power point, microsoft pub. etc. Even pdfs. Any suggestions?

Don't know if you can still update your WORD, but this sounds like a common WORD problem, though I have not heard about it with 97. I assume you get the same result if you print to paper, always a good check. If so, then start looking at WORD.

Add-in not working in Word

I am running Office 365 in Windows 7 Pro and have just upgraded Acrobat 9 Pro to Acrobat 11 Pro. The add-in works fine in Excel and Powerpoint but not in Word. I can do a "Save As" and produce a pdf but it's really annoying not to have the ribbon tab and associated commands available. Any solutions please?

Did you do the updates to AA XI. Don't forget that the version of WORD you are using came out after XI and you need the updates. Also check the addin options in WORD after you have completed the updates.

HANA Studio: On "New Calculated Column" window Add Button Not Visible

In the expression editor, I don't have any 'OK' button to validate my Input.
I tried ENTER and TAB, as suggested by Kunal Arvind Gandhi, but with no clue of success.
I am running on SAP HANA SPS07, with the SAP HANA studio version 1.0.7300 (Build id: 389160). My colleague running the studio version 1.80.x has the same problem, whereas some other guys with the same version do have 'OK' on the bottom right of their screen. (Same view, same expression !).
Any suggestion is more than welcome !

PDF Reader add on not visible in IE

Installed X1 Pro on windows 7 32 bit OS running IE 9 and do not have the Adobe PDF Reader add on listed, (showing all add on) in IE. PDF links will only open in IE which I do not want. Have tried un-installing, deleting Adobe folder out of programs files and reinstalling, same results. Have installed on other PC's with same setup with no issues. Any ideas on how to disable the reader add on when it does not show up as a manged add-on option in IE? Thanks in advance.
SOLVED: Select "Run without permission" option and it will show the PDF Reader option to disable.

Adobe Reader only comes in an x32 bit version...
It won't run on web pages that are using the x64 IE tab process. You uses must be using the x64 version of IE9.

Just updated to Windows 8.1, icloud add in not visible in outlook, cannot access calender

Need help, just updated to windows 8.1 on pc. now outlook does not show icoud add-in and i cannot access icloud calender on outlook

This fixed the issue:
1. sign out of iCloud. (make sure you are really signed out or it won't work!)
2. open Outlook and make sure iCloud is not listed in Account Settings
3. close Outlook
4. sign in to iCloud and let it set up Outlook sync
You shouldn't need to reinstall anything. Just remember after the above, when you first look at your calendar/contacts in Outlook it will default to show your Outlook calendar and contacts (saved locally). You may need to select iCloud to see them.

Interface Builder - Custom images not visible in Cocoa Simulator

I'm very new to this, and just toying around with Interface Builder more than anything at this stage…
Anyway, my problem… I've created some of my own images to place on buttons, etc. I've saved them in PNG format and dragged them into the Resources folder of my Xcode project, so they become available in Interface Builder's media library. I can drag them onto my window just fine, but when I test the UI with the 'Simulate Interface' command, the images disappear completely.
Any ideas?

This was changed in Interface Builder 3.0. Now, you have to click on the "Connections" tab in the object's Info panel. I think it is the 2nd one from the right. You will recognize it because you will see all your outlets. You click the little circle next to the outlet and drag a line over the user interface object to make the connection. Once you do that, there is a bug in Interface Builder that will blank out the info panel. You will have to select some other object to redisplay any information, then click back to your original object. The bindings panel has a similar set of bugs. Suffice to say, Interface Builder 3.0 is a work in progress.
PS - to break a connection, click the little X button next to an outlet name.

Linked adobe file will not open in Word 2007

I open a word document (.docm) from a share point site and inside it is a linked adobe file. When I try to launch it, it gives me an error that the file cannot be found, server location not available, etc..
However, if I open Adobe Reader first, then this word document, the linked adobe file opens fine.
Help please.

By default, Adobe Captivate 4, should create a .bak file. Try removing the file suffix .bak, see if you can open the file from this backup.
