Template Maker plugin for JDev 10.1.2

Hi there!
Is there any place for downloading the 10.1.2 version of Template Maker? I took a look at both JDeveloper site and forum but did not find any link.

The version for 9.0.5 would probably work with 10.1.2:

  • ADE Plugin for JDev launched from a view

    Hi,
    I want to install the ADE versioning system plugin in my JDev which I launch from my view. Earlier, I used to get the plugin from "Check for Updates" item under "Help" menu . But I am not able to search for this plugin in my recent Jdevs. Can anyone point me to a location from where I can download and install this ADE plugin in my JDev?
    Thanks

  • How can you create a plugin for jdev?

    Any pointers to detailed instructions appreciated... I searched OTN and couldnt find anything
    Thanks!

    If you use the 11g preview release, there is also functionality built into the product by default that will help you to build extensions (although I still recommend downloading the ESDK, since it contains the javadoc and a large number of samples).
    In 11g, you can access the new functionality using File->New->Projects->Extension Project.

  • ER: HTML Applet tag syntax warning - or HTML syntax checker for JDEV.

    Hi,
    I just spent ages (an hour or two) debugging an applet and it turned out that I had left a comma "," out of my 'archive=..' parameter of the 'applet' tag in the HTML :-(.
    E.g. I had <applet code="x" archive="a.jar b.jar, c.jar, d.jar"> and IE simply didn't load 'b.jar' so I got the usual 'class not found' exception. After signing every jar and putting every jar in every directory I finally noticed the commas between some of the jars.
    I can understand IE not helping me load an Applet since, from MS's point of view, that is evil Java code, but JDev must know the syntax of a HTML applet tag too so it could highlight the error for me.
    Alternatively does anyone know of a HTML checker plugin for JDEV?
    Regards,
    Simon.

    No comments?
    I've been looking around for a HTML syntax checker and there are plenty around - just google "html validation". None so far have picked up the missing comma in my busted applet tag. I guess with a missing comma it just looks like a file name with a space in it anyway.
    I still think JDeveloper could flag semantic errors like this at development time.
    Cheers,
    Simon.

  • How to make a custom template the default for Apple Mail (10.7.5)?

    Hi,
    I'm OK with making a new custom template in Apple Mail.  It shows up fine once under "custom" in the stationary pane (and once I take off signature in a new email).  But... that's a lot of trouble to go through everytime I want to send an email.
    So the question is: can I make my custom template my default for all my emails, unless I want to manually change it?  Seems like this should be possible but I can't figure it out and haven't run into any solutions (only on how to make a template).
    Do I really have to select it each time?
    Best,
    Joel

    As an FYI: I just solved the problem by going the "low road." I'll be a bit laborious in case someone else wants a solution at a later date (I know I Googled the topic and found nothing). I experimented by simply:
    Opening a new email message
    Selecting my custom template
    Copying the custom signature (Select All)
    Opening another new email message
    Selecting Edit on the Signature pulldown menu
    Hitting the plus symbol to create/add a new signature in the pane
    Pasting into the new signature
    Naming it
    Selecting "Choose signature" at the bottom of the signatures pane
    And violà!!
    It now appears as a possible selection *and* as the default.
    Better yet - it is now my default and will work as a reply to an email.
    I think I got it all right in the list above.
    OK, granted, this is a pretty simply signature - a list of my website, SoundCloud, twitter etc with those names in bold and a graphic of my color logo - but... it works! YMMV.
    Give it to Apple to make it so simple that any fool could do it (that would be me), you wouldn't need a "specialized" app, and - of course - there wouldn't even be instructions on how to do it!
    Best,
    Joel

  • Long to int32 conversion issues in Xcode 5.0.2 when building plugin for Indesign CC 2014

    Hi, I am trying to build one of the sample plugin WriteFishPrice from the SDK on mac System
    I am using Xcode 5.0.2 as per the documentation, but I am encountering the below errors during compilation.
    In UnicodeSavvyString.h
    template <class FwdIterator>
    inline void UnicodeSavvyString::assign_impl(FwdIterator b, FwdIterator e, size_type nCodePoints, std::forward_iterator_tag)
      const difference_type nCodeValues = std::distance(b, e);
      ASSERT(nCodeValues >= 0);
    // Make room for the chars
      code_value* buffer = GetBufferForWriting(nCodeValues);  // <----Implicit conversion loses integer precision long to int
    // Copy them into the buffer
      std::copy(b, e, buffer);
    // Ensure terminating null
      buffer[nCodeValues] = code_value();
      fUTF16BufferLength = nCodeValues;                         // <----Implicit conversion loses integer precision long to int
    // Calculate how many code points we will have at the end
      if (nCodePoints == 0 && nCodeValues)
      fNumChars = CountCharsUtil(buffer, nCodeValues);          // <----Implicit conversion loses integer precision long to int
    else
      ASSERT((size_type)CountCharsUtil(buffer, nCodeValues) == nCodePoints);
      fNumChars = nCodePoints;
    And similar errors are coming in WideString.h.
    Can some one tell me what is wrong with the new SDK? Or if I need to make some changes in these files which surely is not advisable.

    Hi kapoor_aman27,
    this is just a warning, because the size of the string is stored as an int32 and some function has Argument with type int32. You can change the compiler setting "Treat Warnings as Errors" to "No". Then it is only a warning and you can ignore it as long as you use string with less than 4GB.

  • Free guide to Siptech J2ME Plugin for Eclipse.

    I wrote this for Siptech because I found their original instructions hard to follow!
    Hope it's some use to my fellow Eclipse J2ME developers....
    There follows a guide for creating J2ME projects with the SIPTech plug-in, using the newest version of Sun's WTK (v2.1). This document assumes you have already installed the plug-in - if you need more help with that, see the User and Design View on the J2ME plugin download page.
    Creating a new MIDP project with Siptech plugin for Eclipse
    ==============================================
    1.From the File menu, select New > Project
    2.In the dialogue box*, highlight Java in the left hand pane, and J2ME Project
    on the right hand pane. Click next.
    3.Enter the project name in the text box.
    4.Un-check the Use Default switch, and click Browse...
    5.Navigate to your Wireless Toolkit (WTK) root directory (probably something like
    C:\WTK21), and into its apps subdirectory. This is where the WTK stores the
    working folders for its projects. Click Make New Folder... and enter the
    project name to create a new working folder for your project. Click Ok to
    confirm the path.
    6.This will take you back to the main Java Settings dialogue box, where you
    should click Next> to move on to the source and output path screen.
    7.The WTK normally looks for source code in the src subdirectory of the working
    folder, so we need to set this up for our project. In the Source Path pane,
    select the project folder (blue folder with the project name), and
    click Edit.... Select the radio button Folder as source folder and type src
    into the text box. Click OK.
    8.In a similar way, the WTK normally outputs bytecode to the classes
    subdirectory of the working folder, and we want to do the same. Back in the main
    dialogue, select theDefault output folder text box and append the
    string /classes to the existing value, which will just be the project folder
    name.
    9.Now our build paths are setup, but we still need to include the JAR files which
    specify the J2ME classes. In the main Java Settings dialogue box, select
    the Libraries tab. Click Add External Jars.... Use the file dialogue to
    navigate to your WTK's lib subdirectory (for example C:\WTK21\lib), and select
    the JAR files needed for your project. Note depending on whether you are
    writing for MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, you must include only cldcapi10.jar and
    midpapi10.jar, or cldcapi20.jar and midpapi20.jar, respectively. Remove the ones
    you don't need else the build will fail.
    10.Click "Finish". You will now be asked to enter the MIDlet class name, so that
    the plugin can generate a template file. Enter the class name, without the .java
    extension, and click OK.
    11.Right click the project folder in the resource perspective and select refresh
    to show the generated source, class and jar files.

    Oh dear! The little characters should be quotes.
    And in step 2, the dialogue box in question is the main Java settings dialogue box!
    Sorry about that ;)

  • URGENT help required : Custom Authentication Plugin for validation of users

    Hi Experts.
    I'm a newbie and am stuck in middle of nowhere.
    I have been asked to develop a custom authentication plug-in which would validate a user using the attributes such as a userid and a shared-userid.
    shared-userid is just a custom id that would be generated on the basis of some logic.
    Currently I'm using OAM 10.1.4.3.0 on WINDOWS server and as everybody, I'm also not able to find any sample files or sample folder structure.
    As per one of the other threads https://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=3838474, sample code and sample folders are removed from this particular version and were present in some previous version.
    So, can anyone please help me out with the following:
    1. How can I proceed to accomplish this task, i.e. to check whether a user-id and a shared-userid both are validated and a user is granted access.
    2. Are all of these files required to create a custom authentication plug-in or can we proceed only with the ".c" file (i.e. make file, authn.c, and a dll file made using the make file and .c file)
    3. Can anybody provide me with a sample file or a sample code written in "C" wherein the plug-in connects to the LDAP and searches for a particular dn for comparison or something. Also a sample make file for windows to convert the .c file to .dll.
    PLEASEEEE help me ASAP.

    Hi,
    Regarding question 2, you also need the header file is supplied in the Access Server installation directory, under ...access\oblix\sdk\authn_api and is called authn_api.h. you need this to build the dll which must then be placed in the Access Server's ...\access\oblix\lib directory.
    Regarding question 3, if you install an earlier version of the Access Server, ie 10.1.4.2 or less, then you will get a \access\oblix\sdk\authentication\samples\authn_api directory that contains a basic sample authentication plugin. However, there is still documented in the 10.1.4.3 Developer Guide another sample plugin, simplapi.c, in the 10.1.4.3 Developer Guide with instructions on how to use it. It does work, but unfortunately requires a couple of edits to get it working after copy&pasting it (no code changes, just fairly obvious case changes eg changing ObanPlugin* to ObAnPlugin*). I used the following commands to get it to compile into a .so file on unix:
    g++44 -c -fPIC -Wno-deprecated -m32 simpleapi.c
    g++44 -shared -nostdlib -lc -m32 simpleapi.o -o simpleapi.so
    but I really would not know if or how these translate into a Windows environment.

    i don;t know wat can i do know all i need to create a plugin for indesign program so could any one help me ??

    Each version of the SDK has very specific demands for the compiler setup, and this in turn relies heavily on the operating system. The CS3 SDK probably was based on a much older version of Visual Studio.
    Compare your toolchain against the requirements that should be stated somewhere in the CS3 documentation. It's a solid bet you are years ahead -- there simply is no reason for Adobe to keep on supporting all OSes and compilers that continue to appear, for a version of InDesign that's by now 2.5 versions old.
