Template - not movable - stationery nav

Hi there great ones....
Am making a template, and want the table to not move, so that the bottom nave is always in the same place. Is this possible?

I love what you said. Haven't ventured into the css boxes yet. Have
been using tables to build all sites, and css only for links and fonts.
Yes, footer is at bottom but wanted it to not move from an absolute
position from page to page. Thanks for the Sticky footer idea.
The pages of the website are basically like a slide show: one pic w
text and then press 'next', and another page, like that. 'Next' and
all links (3) in a row, underneath, as the footer, or navigation.
It used to be, if one made a template, nothing moved, except the
editable things. Now, when building templates, tables and cells will
move, even tho not editable.
Is it true that templates no longer secure a table to a certain height?
If this is wrong, please enlighten.
So far have tried different 3 solutions, see what you think?
1. make sure the table, which the varying texts and pics for each
page occupy, is deep enuf so that on any particular pg the table
would not change sizes, then any text or pic added to any page
wouldn't push the table deeper/down, and then the nav would stay at
same position.
2. build pages with apdivs. so I know that nav will stay
staionery....tried blowing up text in browser to get the idea of how
it would look to a viewer, and it is ok, as only 2 elements on page:
pic and text, besides the nav and copyright below.
3. Make sure pic is same size on each page, and text is not longer on
any page to push the nav down.
What do you think?

I’m having issues with workgroup computers, not domain systems when I request a certificate.
It’s extremely weird. It has something to do with Windows 7 and Windows 2008 machines. In 2003 server I can request a certificate manually with certutil and it see the certificate template. I copy over the exact command

How I’m getting the certs for the clients is by utilizing the following scripts from this URL.

I did find a couple of errors in the code, but if it’s working on my Server 2003, then it should work on the others. Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2 seem to have the same issue. The error I’m getting is the following:
Command line requesting the cert ---- CertReq –new –f testcomputer.home.pvt.inf c:\client\testcomputer.home.pvt.req
Error --- Template not found.
SCCMClientCertificate (this is my template)

Just to give an update on what’s happening with this. I found out this format is unsupported by MS with Windows Vista and newer OS’s.
Instead you must utilize two other additional roles on the CA to have this work. The caviate is, I’m down to the testing and it’s not working as in the document. I have MS Support
working with me to resolve this issue since it was written by MSFT.

Can any one tell me How to Implement IF THEN ELSE or DECODE or CASE Logic in a DATA TEMPLATE not in RTF
as I saw loads of Post about implementing them in RTF not in the Template itself.

While installing the WCF LOB adapter SDK, I guess you haven't chosen "Complete" installation.
Try this:
1) Open Add/Remove programs in control panel.
2) Select the change option WCF LOB adapter SDK and enable 'Tools' in the list of features to be installed
(Tools install the Add adapter service ref Plug-in).
Alternatively,
You can also uninstall and then install the WCF LOB adapter SDK, but this time make sure you do a custom install by checking everything not just the default.

Custom master page applying on Publishing site template not in my site template?

i have created a custom master page based on Publishing template Using Design manager (means converted html to aspx page) and then set all other control on the master page. now problem is master page applying only on Publishing site template not my site
template. any one know why its happening, and how can resolve this issue?

OBIEE installation error: file EmctlCommon.pm.template not found

I'm installing OBIEE 11.1.1.6.0 on Linux Centos.
I have this error running the installer
"/app/MiddlewareOracle/middlewarehome/oracle_common/bin/EmctlCommon.pm.template not found"
/app/MiddlewareOracle/middlewarehome is my installation home directory.
I don't understand why installer did not copy/unzip this file in oracle_common.
I don't think it's a permission issue: there are other files in the directory.
Log simply report the error with no further information.
Some advice?

Probably the error was due to an error during the unzip of files downoladed from Oracle.

Why is the template not being used when dynamic page called ?

Hi,
I have created a dynamic page and assigned a template to it. When I call the dynamic page using the 'show' procedure from a form, I do not see the template.
Why is the template not being used ? How can I get the template working when I call the dynamic page ?
I even tried to show the page from the dynamic page's manage components tab and there is same problem. Template is not being used.

You can alter the generated package body to include the following function in the header and footer sections.
Header:
PORTAL.wwv_headings.show_header(

<PORTAL_DEMO> indicates application schema
<PORTAL> indicates the name of the portal (normally this will be portal30 by default).

After upgrading from 4.6C to ECC 6.0 templates not working in smartform

After upgrading from 4.6C to ECC 6.0 templates not working properly in smartform, although value is flowing to the point the template is getting called and inside the template there are text elements where placeholders are kept to display the value, when the print is taken there are no values being displayed by the text elements.
Please note - Text elements doesnot have any conditions present in the condition tabstrip.

Hi,
After the upgrade, you will have to do the security upgrade.
Please follow these steps.
1. Go To SU25
2. Run step 2A to 2D.
3. In step 2C, you shall get the list of all the affected roles.
Click on first role. It will take you to authorizations of that role. Click on the "New" tab there to find the new objects added to the role after the upgrade.
Note: You can open the same role in the unupgraded system to check.
4. Provide the access to the required authorization objects.
5. Disable the unwanted authorization objects.
6. Generate the profile.
7. Follow the same steps for all the affected roles listed.
Please note that you will have a list of new objects added.You need to maintain them inorder to avoid any access issues.
8. After step 2C, complete 2D.

WF Template not visible

Hi All,
Template is not visible in PFTC and SWDD when I entered template in PFTC and SWDD.
After entering wf template in field of SWDD and clicking enter template is not displayed.
Also when i enter digits of template and select wf template in PFTC template not displayed.
WF is WF00800042.

If you try to display a task or workflow in PFTC, you need to remove the prefix (for example WS).
For example in your case in PFTC select workflow template and enter 00800042. (I am not sure either if this workflow exists in any system - where did you find out that this WF should exist)?

Dreamweaver Template not updating pages error code 2?

Hi All
I wonder if someone can help me - I have a site that i made with Dreamweaver. I then got a new computer (windows 7) and updated my dreamweaver from cs4 to cs5. I have just tried to update my pages and it doesnt seems to be working.
Not sure what information you need - but I have a root folder and within the root site there is a folder with Templates and the templates have the extension .dwt
I have read some posts that say recreate the cache which i have tried - this hasnt worked
I then read another post that says you can update the pages by Modify > templates > Update Pages..
When i tried this I get the update dialog box, but when i try to update the pages i get the following error message:
"error accessing file - (name of the dwt file), file not found, error code 2"
Can i ask the what is the error code 2 - i mean is there any information about the error code which will help me to resolve my templates not being found? as i am bit stuck...
Would appreciate any help on this and thank you in advance

I would like further help with the issue Guy McMickle identified.
When I update links to my two template files I receive the above Error Code 2 message four times. There are 22 page files based on these templates.
The <!-- InstanceBegin template... code does not exist in either of the template files. I does, however, show up in every one of the 21 files that were created from one of the two templates. In these files it shows up in uneditable header code.
Why does the error code only show up four times? If the instanceBegin code is only generated when a file is created based on a template, how can it be avoided or corrected?

Captivate Variables Only Display in Template--Not .CP File

I'm new to Captivate 4, but have been using Captivate for roughly four years or so. I have used the $$cpInfoCurrentSlide$$ variable in a template. When I use the Preview function in the template I can see the slide numbers as they should be displayed. However, when I create a Captivate file based on the template, the slide numbers don't display at all. Is this normal? I'm guessing I used the variable properly or it wouldn't even display in the template, but any light you could shed on this would be very helpful. BTW, I searched the knowledgebase as well as this forum and couldn't find any info on this issue, so please pardon me if the info is there and I didn't find it. I would be happy to send an individual contributor the template and .cp files if necessary, but am hesitant to post them here. Many thanks in advance for your help.

First i install CS6 on the new computer
copy the projects
import the websites
Now, when i change any template the pages do not update any more. New pages working correct. Also manuell updating works.
Any Idea?
Where are the info about the join template and the pages. Seems on the old computer - but where?

now I made a new page from the template on the new machine - and find one difference:
New Page:
<!doctype html>
<html lang="de">
<head>....
Old Page:
<!doctype html>
<html lang="de">
<head>...
The slash / after template=" is not there on the new machine. If i remove the slash on the copied pages and restart dreamweaver then it works. A lot of work, but i can solve my problem this way.
Maybe there is some checkbox for path handling...?
