Can I use a wordpress template with the new creative suite dreamweaver.
I'm not sure I understand your question. WordPress Themes work only with WP sites. Themes bring layout, styles and functionality to your WP site/blog. You activate Themes from the admin panel accessed by logging in through your WP dashboard.
The only time DW would be helpful is during pre-development for customizing a Theme's CSS & PHP code. Although much of that can be done directly in WordPress.

DasThe problem is that Web Templates are deployed to a gallery in a site collection and aren't available in Central Admin when creating a new site collection. YOu have to create the site collection without choosing a template and then choose your web
template when you first access the root site in the site collection. Here's an article that discusses that process here:

Other than that Vesa's article is still the best one and works essentially the same in 2013 as it does in 2010.

Error while trying to update the XML template using XML Publisher Administrator
Hello Folks,
We are on R12.1.3
I changed a condition in a report and trying to upload the new XML template using XML Publisher Administrator.
when i click the Apply button, it is throwing an error 'Bad Request'
Navigation : XML Publisher Administrator > Data Definitions > query the report
Click on the name of the report > click 'Update file' besides Data Template > Choose file > Click Apply
I am getting the below error
Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Now, i could not upload a new XML template.
Am I doing anything wrong.

It seems to be a problem in that particular instance.
Uploaded it in a different instance.
However once i run the program, i cannot view the output as the browser window flashes and disappears.
My colleague says , it is to do with the trusted site to download something from the browser.

Use of template using CPT1 for charging an additional cost to the product
Hello,
I'm trying to charge an additional cost burden to the cost of my product for every base unit produced. (cost estimate)
I have created a template using transaction CPT1 with sender as Cost Center / Activity Type in environment 001
The activity type is measured in EA (Eaches) while we make our product in boxes (Product base unit of measure is 'Boxes') with say 20 Eaches going into a Box
I have maintained an activity price using transaction KP26 at say $0.55 per Each
I have assigned this template to my costing sheet , valuation area and overhead key using transaction KTPF
When I now cost the material for costing lot size of a 1000 boxes, it still charges the product with the activity price per Each ($0.55) instead of multiplying $0.55*20*1000 = $11,000 for a 1000 boxes
The formula I have chosen in the template against 'Plan quantity ' is in the attachment enclosed:
I need help with doing the right thing within the template to make it give a cost burden of $11000 for every 1000 boxes costed (costing lot size)Didn't realize that you have to use transaction CPTD to charge template overhead to production orders. That's why it was not working. Now it is posting by reading the confirmed yield. But it is still not converting eaches to boxes using the conversion factor in the material master.
The formula I'm currently using in the template for actual quantity is as under:
OrderYieldConfirmed / AltQtyFactorFromMaterial( AlternativeQuantityUnit
= 'BX', Material = OrderMaterialNumber )
Please tell me what I need to do to the above formula to make it convert boxes to eaches using conversion factor in the material master?

PDF Templates: using forms designed in LiveCycle Designer

I’m creating templates using Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES2 and using Adobe Acrobat X. When I upload the PDF templates I’ve created to BI Publisher, I hit a brick wall. The reports spit back *“FormProcessor internal error.”* when I click on View, then click through the "Error: contact an administrator" box. When I choose Export... I get a broken PDF file that doesn't seem to have any content.
When I go to Layouts and click Map Form Fields for any of these layouts, I end up with a blank-looking screen. It says "Map PDF Form Fields" at the top, but there's just a gray box below it, where you should see the PDF form.
It should look like this

My requirement is to create a document library associated to a custom content type with a document template associated. Also I need to create a document based on the template in this document library when a new item is created in another list by taking the
reference ID of that new Item , I need to create the document with the name appended by ID. I need to do all this deployment using WSP.

This works perfect for me.
However, there are few observations, when going to Document Library > Library Settings > Advanced Settings > Document Template section - doesnt shows the Edit template link. When tried to look at the value for the document template using view source
, it is giving me /Lists/MyDocsListInstance/Forms/template.dotx instead of the actual template file uploaded.
Ignoring the above observation, when I am trying to create a sandbox based workflow in visual studio to create document in document library when new item is created in another list, I provide the ContentTypeID as the ID associated with the document library
with template.
It creates the corrupt document at end of workflow.
I have tried using .docx instead of .dotx files for workflow as per solution provided in some of the post but it isnt resolving my issue.
Any help is much appreciated.

Does it happen to work for some users but not others? If so, try logging in on the "good" computer with the "bad" username. This will tell you if the problem is related to the end-user's system. Also, once the user downloads a document
successfully can they open and work on it in Word? Also, does the document library have any custom content types associated with it or does it just use 'Document'?
I notice that there are other folks on the web that have run into this same problem and the similarity seems to be that they are either on SharePoint 2007 or have upgraded from 2007. Did this doc library start out as a 2007 library?
What you might want to do is this: Make a site collection from scratch in 2013 (or find one that you know was created in 2013). Choose team site (or whatever you want) for the root web and set up the security the same way you have it on the malfunctioning
library. Now, use windows explorer to copy and paste some of the documents to the new location. Be sure you recreate any needed content types. Now test it from the troubled user's computer.
I'm thinking there may be something that is different about the library since it was migrated through various versions and updates since 2007. I've sometimes found that there can be problems (especially with user profiles but that's a different story) with
things that go through this evolution. -
How do I modify the template used in the Photo Gallery module
I notice the Photo Galleries are rendered as an HTML table and I would like to make a small modification to the way the gallery is rendered on the page.
Basically I just want to wrap a DIV around the <img> tag so I can control the look of the image via my own CSS.
I see there is the ability to modify Module Templates, but the photo gallery module is not listed there.
Where can I access the template used for a photo gallery?
Alternatively I will need to display the images myself using an XML feed and jQuery, but I would rather use BC's own modules when I can.Hi David,
There is no template for the photo Galleries. But if you are using Firebug you can find out the css values and add your own modification by adding CSS by the same selector as the current gallery to your own page and use the !Important value to over write the gallery css. -

now create three text elements
and in each text give
company
dept
basic
now go to output options and
in the bottom of it output structure will be there
in that line 1
column 1 for first one
line 1 column2 for second one
and try to give the styles form attributes
output options tab
style zstyle

My page design has all the components in the cells of a
table. I am designing my menus/sub-menu in FW. The changing body of
each page is in all the sections of the table below the row with
the menus. I would like to lock all the sections of the table above
where the content becomes variable and use the wonderful template
ability to update all subscribed pages. The problem is even though
I can change the entire page into a template, I cant get it to make
editable the sections I want. I says "not repeating region" or asks
what tag attribute I want to make editable. What I want is the
entire section of the table, the <tr> & <td> down
to the end of the page to be fully editable. I cant see how it can
be done.
I have simulated templates using a master sub-page design
that all the pages uses, however of course this is explicit and any
change makes me change each and every link in all the pages. This
is the reason for templates, I just cant get around their

Creating new template using existing template
Is anyone aware of a way to create a new project template using an existing template? I am testing a few scenarios and want to quickly be able to create a template without setting one up from scratch.
I tried a few ways but could not find a way to do this - you can only create a project using a template, not another template.

Footer required only on last page of report -template uses @section context
I have created a template that uses a tag - <?for-each@section:G_DELIVERY_ID?>. This is causing the Header and Footer to reset for each new Delivery ID. The template also has a last page only footer which I have added on the second page of template using <?start@last-page-first:body?> tag.
When the XML data has two Delivery IDs with one page data for each. This gives a two page output as expected.
The user requirement is that the last page only footer information in the template (on page 2) should be printed only on the last Delivery ID i.e. only once for the
report, that too on the last page of last Delivery ID. Currently the footer is printed on both pages of the report i.e. for bothe Delivery IDs. How can I achieve this?Amit,

HI All, I'm trying to create a Etext template using the API.
EFTProcessor processor = new EFTProcessor();
String template = TemplateLocator.getTemplateFullName(mergReq.getTemplateType(), mergReq.getTemplateName());
processor.setData(input);
processor.setTemplate(template);
processor.setOutput("c:\\test.txt");
processor.process();
This output looks like it creates the xsl and not the text file. Am I missing a step?

I implemented news carousel using display template concepts.
Its working.
But some times it shows like some thing went wrong
when clicke on show details

Display Error: The display template had an error. You can correct it by fixing the template or by changing the display template used in either the Web Part properties or Result Types.

Finally we fixed.
The prob is that we referring two different version of jquery files in master page and page layout.
We corrected by referring same version of jquery files in both pages

Need: CREATE NEW PROJECTS FROM TEMPLATE using Adobe Captivate 8.
Problem: NEW PROJECT (.cptx) duplicates the Advanced Actions originally configured within TEMPLATE FILE (.cpt.).
For example: Template file (.cptl) advanced action "_initializeModule" gets duplicated as "_initializeModule1", "_initializeModule2", "_initializeModule3" within NEW PROJECT. FYI, the original "_initializeModule" advanced action still appears.
MAJOR BUG, what the heck is going on?!?!!! Planning to deploy this template file to use for multiple courses with multiple users, this WILL cause epic confusion across the board.Similar problem, think they are working on it as well: when dragging a shared action from an external library to a slide or object event, and that action is using a parameter that was already created for another shared action, there will be a new parameter created which really screws up the shared action contrary to this problem. Tip: for the moment do not drag shared actions from an external library immediately to an event, but drag them first to the Library: Reuse Shared Actions in other Projects - Captivate 7 vs. 8 - Captivate blog
