Templates for recurring entries in GL posting.

Hi Gurus,
I need step by step configuration documents for 'Templates for recurring entries in GL posting'. Any help will be highly appreciated and awarded. Thnx

Hi,
Please find..
1.You need to define no range for recuring document templates always you need to give no as"X1" and no ranges(freely definable.) in "FBN1"
2.You need to create a temlate in "FBD1" this is temlate and not actual document and it will not be updated in your books also, basically you use templates to save the time and controll your mistakes, but in recurring document template you can change all the fields like sampl document template. Here you can change the "Posting date in recurring document template, the amount will be fixed for all periods..
3.You can post as many as you want by using recurring document template in "F.14" and here you can post the document via batch input session, you can always view these tempaltes in "F.15"
Hope understood and you can assign points.
Thanks,
Vasu..

  • Park and Post for recuring entries

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me is it possible to have SOD in park and post for recurring entries documents - f.14?
For the purpose of segregation of duties, I need accountant A to allow to create/park recurring entries but not post. Acccountant B will be allow to post the recurring documents created by account A.
    Pls help.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    Here's my thoughts on this.
As it is Recurring entries is a two step transaction.
Have "Segregation of Responsibilities" at the time of creation of the Recurring entires itself.
and have the second person to post it. Of course you can prevent the second person from changing any thing in the recurring document.
Rather than Parking the recurring documents.

  • Using an MS Excel like template for data entry into an Oracle table

Does anybody know of a way, or development tool, that has the look and feel of MS Excel but can be used for data entry and be saved to an Oracle table and be embedded into a JSP page? I am currently using iSupport and have a need to allow users to enter data into an MS Excel like template, once the user saves the service request I need for the values to be saved in the attribute fields of the service request. I need the ability to map the cells of the template to the fields in the Oracle table. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  • Is there a way to create a dropdown menu template for metadata entry in Bridge?

For certain categories such as keywords, I would like to create a set of standard terms to use for my department. Is there a way to create a template for a dropdown menu within the metadata window?
    Currently running CS5.1

This was discontinuted in CS5 howerver you could migrate that plugin to CS5.  I don`t know if you can do this with CS6.
To my knowledge they only provided a revised Contact sheet II script for CS6. In my opinion a very bad idea because they should have put all efforts and resources to enhance the Output Module PDF contact sheet that has far more options.
Still not using web galleries but the goal for web gallery was also to use this in the Adobe Output Module, maybe that provides you the options you want?

  • BTE for Recurring document CREATED

    Hello,
I would appreciate if you can help me with my issue.
I am trying to trigger and event to start my WF.
The scenario is to start a workflow when a RECURRING ENTRY DOCUMENT is posted in the T-code FBD1, and then send it to approvers for the approval of this document. I having trouble triggering the event when this document is created in the t-code FBD1. The entries are saved in the table BKPF, so I thought I could use the BO - 'BKPF' and its event 'CREATED'. Please let me know how I can ahieve this using BTEs.
    Thank you.

    Hello,
I have a small question here,
the event 'CREATED', triggered through BTE 1030, belongs to the BO - BKPF. so, i guess, it will have the key fields of BO - BKPF in its OBJECTKEY. and it does have the same.
but, the scenario wants the workflow to be triggered when a change is made too, not just created.
creation is done in FBD1 (RECURRING FI DOCUMENT) and change is done in FBD2.
there is this standard event 'CHANGED' that is automatically getting triggered when a change is made. which I added to my WF as triggering event. but, the event 'CHANGED' has extra three characters (system number) in front for its objectkey and hence its not passing this information (unable to bind, probably) to the WF container element of type BKPF. so, the WF gives an error.
how do you think this can be resolved. any, help is greatly appreciated.
    thank you.

  • Automated Batch Jobs for Recurring / Reversal Postings

Is there any way to automatically run the batch job on a monthly cycle to generate the postings for recurring and / or reversal entries for accruals?  Right now the manual way to generate postings for recurring entries is F.14 and for reversals is FB08 / F.80.  Maybe there's some settings within these t-code themselves that lets you automate the run of these batch jobs?  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    Workflow is the only option

  • Recurring entries - FBD1

For recurring entries, system wants doc. no. range X1, but on the other hand, only numerical number ranges are allowed to be defined.
Please note that the error given is, "In company code ABC, the number range X1 is missing for the year 2007".
    please help me.
    Amish.

    Hi,
You can maintain the number range as below by using t.code:FBN1.
Enter your company code and click on change intervals.
    X1     2007     9100000000     9199999999

  • Recurring Entry for Vendor Line Items

    Hi,
We are using SAP ECC 5.0.
There are recurring entries to be processed, which run into 90+ line items. These line items include GLs as well as Vendor items.
Fast Entry and Account Assignment Model cannot be used as they accept only GL line items. Recurring entry also cannot be used as the amounts keep changing. Is there any other time saving way to make this entry? making the entry using F-02 is very time consuming and tedious.

    Hi,
One option is to develop a BDC and calling up the FB01 or F-02 posting. An excel template needs to be designed and can be used for upload of line items. Make changes in the amounts in the excel sheet and use the upload program to post.
    Rgds.

    HI All,
Following is the solution of this problem.
Before execution F.14. just visit at FBD3 TCode with your recurring document number.
Click on GOTO-> Recurring entry data.
There you find one field called Next Run on...... please enter this date while running F.14 TCODE.
    It will work.
Or else check for the Delete document checkbox on the same popup screen.
Reward if  you got your solution.
    Thanks

  • Cross Company code posting is available for recurring payment setup?

    Hi All,
I could not find the cross company code field for recurring payment setup with useing T code FBD1.
Vendor is created in paying company code 1000, however, the rent has be booked to cross company code (1001) cost center (2000).
So, while trying to do recurring payment setup, I could not see the field.
I know the alternative option that i can use the "Cost Center(1000)" is assigned to CoCd 1000 and do recurring setup without useing cross company code, later i can post the manual journal for correction (as below), however, I do not want use this option.
Dr/Cr       CoCd                         GL account            Cost Center           Amount
Dr            1001                         Rent account          2000                      XXXXX
Cr            1000                         Rent account          1000                      XXXXX
Please let me know your thoughts on this.
    Thanks,
    Srinivas

Hi, ok17 is not for cross company, but for CO-FI real time integration.
Ex. you maintained for "RKL     Actual activity allocation" Dr 123 Cr 567
Then while posting activity allocation in CO you'll get posting like Dr 123 Cr 567   (with corresponding CO objects)

  • Post Invoice for Service Entry with many Service line item-MM-LIV

    Dear All,
I have a problem to post Invoice for Service Entry with many Service line item. The problem is as follow:
I have created 1 Service Entry which has 5 Service line item in it. Three of the service line item are subject to Value Added Tax (VAT), the others aren't. Then, i wanted to post Invoice for the Service Entry, however, it just display 1 item which amount in total. How can i segregate each service line item in Service Entry thus i can post Invoice for all Service line item with subject to VAT and all service item with not subject to VAT, if just 1 Service Entry created for it ?
    Please help me.
    Thank You

    Hi Ganda,
If you mark the 'service based invoice verification' checkbox in your PO item, your service items will be in your invoice as seperate invoice lines. Then you can modify the taxcodes on service item level.
    Kind regards, Dick Hendriks.

  • Create posting docs for recurring docs - Settlement period

    Hi Gurus,
I am trying to run F.14 to create posting docs for recurring docs. What is the settlement period field used for? For a recurring doc that was created in May, i was able to run that during may end but now i want to run this for this month end and if give June month as settlement period, it's says batch session couldn't be created.
Also, to which date does the posting doc get posted to? Does that depend on settlement period?
All answers will be duly rewarded.
    Thanks
    N

Settlement date is used for restricting selection of documents that are due.
If you run for 1 day and documents are due to be created that day u will have a batch for that. If you run for a month the system checks the documents due in that month and creates a batch.
This can be at any time and does not need to be during that period or at the end, posting possible depending on whether OB52 allows it.
Note that the system checks which documents have been already processed so you cannot run multiple times.

  • Recurring entries upload in SAP B1

    dear all
is there anyway to upload recurring entries to SAP B1 using DTW or any other tool. i have 300 recurring entries can not enter it one by one. please reply
    Thanks & Regards
    Kanishka

I suggest you to discuss with technical consultant whether they could find DI API object for the recurring posting automation upload. I see the table ORCR and RCR1, but no DTW template. Maybe they could create a excel template and interface for that. Nevertheless, you still have to prepare the data.
    Rgds,

  • Profitability segment optional in recurring entries?

    Hi all!
I've got a requirement from my customer, the want to use recurring entries (tr code fbd1) where they want the possibility to post to a profitalibilty segment to update COPA. I have checked tr code 07e3 but I cannot find this field possible in any account assignment model. Can anyone please help?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
If you want to use account assignment model to bring in, the profitability segment while creating the recurring posting template (FBD1), that's is not possible., because of whta you previously indicated, profitability  segment is not in the field selection list. What you may  to do instead,  is to make sure the account(s) you want to post to COPA do have a field status group with profitability segment on (Either as an optional or mandatory field), so while creating the line item in the recurring posting template  the icon "profitability segement" (Right pointing arrow) would be ready for you to access  and the needed fields.
    Hope this helps.
