Templates updating on local server but not on remote in DW CS3

I'm using Dreamweaver CS3 and am trying to update some templates. At first, when I checked out the file on the remote server, made the change and saved, it asked me if I want to upload to all pages using that template. I said yes, and it checked them out and applied them (it says). I noticed that the files were only updated on the local server and not on the remote so I had to synchronize. No problem there.
However, now when I go and update templates and apply to all pages using that template, it checks them out, but when I go check them on the servers, none of the files on either the local or remote server are updated even though I verified that the template itself did update.
I'm a self-taught newbie, so please forgive me if some of this sounds way less than techie.

JavaScript working on local server but not remotely

Hi,
I'm using JavaScript for a gallery widget on our site.
This works perfectly when testing locally, but when I upload it to our server the images are all there but the animation no longer works, When you click on a thumbnail, the slide image is just opened in a new window as a static image - the images should expand and then you should be able to navigate through each one.
I've checked all the links to the JS folder and everything seems to be okay.
Can anyone offer any advice or suggestions on what to look for?

Your three javascript files are not found at the location you have in the code -

In addition, the clear box CSS is not found, either.

How to Download updates's to server but not install

Got a question from my guys last night. On our Servers, my guys have a small window to download and install updates on our Servers. Between logging onto servers and then Downloading and installing updates from software center
that can take some time.
Is there a way in sccm 2012r2 to have the update download and wait for the user to install it. Most of our client Servers are 2012r2 and some 2008r2 thrown in .

Not directly no.
You can however set the deployment deadline time to sometime way in the future though. This will cause the system to download applicable updates but of course won't automatically install them (until the deadline which is way in the future). The updates will
still be available in the Software Center for installation though.

Published files work on local site but not on remote site

the flash4 published set of files, with a variety of skins tried, works well on the local drive, even when moved to a different folder structure. when index.html is opened on the remote web site, the browser (firefox3 and ie7) displays the player conrols and a rotating horizontal barber pole, green and black, but no flash video.some of the skins i've used are: SkinOverPlaySeekFullscreen.swf, nOverPlayStopSeekCaptionVol.swf and SkinUnderPlay.swf. all work locally but do not play the .flv file on the web site. no problem playing flv movies on the remote web site if the file set is created by dreamweaver.

The source for the video seems to be hardcoded to your local drive. You will need to change this to a relative path, or hardcode it to the server location.

The Report Server page comes up on local server, but the page does not open from clients

The Report Server Page opens up just fine on the local server, but page does not open up from desktops and client PCs. SSRS is installed on a Windows Server 2008 R2 server and with SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2
Clients are using IE 11 and they see:
Oops! Internet Explorer could not connect to tumdv-fsql01
How can make this site accessible from clients?

When I add the IP Address and try the link again, IE says "This page can not be displayed". When I try the Fix connection problems, IE says:
"The website is online, but it is not responding to connection attempts."

What can I do when web pages with scripting display ok from a server but not locally?

I have html and java script in the same folder path, both on a server and locally. The pages display correctly when accessed from the server, but not when accessed locally. Is there a change I can make to Firefox to solve this problem?

An address starting with c: wouldn't be any kind of domain name. C: is the drive lettering system DOS and and later uses. By default, A: and B: are reserved for your first and second floppy disk drive. All hard drives are then named C: through Z:, if you have that many. C: is normally your startup disk.
Anyway, their PDF file is incorrectly linked to a file directly on the C: drive of someone's computer. It's not going to work no matter what you do.

Flash MP3 Player shows update in other browser but NOT Safari

I am working with a Dreamweaver Document with Flash component inserted into the layout. One of the Flash Components is a MP3 player. The player is configured using javascript and refers to a file named "config.html"
This file contains the actual mp3 information (name, title, location on server,etc).
When this info is updated, the new songs "been here.mp3, etc." appear to be updated in other browsers but NOT Safari. Safari continues to read the original "config.html" instead of reading the new update version of "config.html.
How can this happen, is there a phantom version of the original "config.html" that I do not see? How can I get it to load the new songs instead of the old ones? Is the problem within my Prefences?

Under Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars, What do you have set for the Default Calendar? Personal?
If you don't have it set to a Cloud Calendar it will only create the entry locally. You would need to select the iCloud Calendar specifically when creating the Calendar entry to have it sync.
Otherwise set your default calendar to be the iCloud Calendar so all entries are created there by default. And as such get synced to other devices.

Task fails on server but not on my development PC

I have this annoying error on my server but not in my PC,
When I run the task from VisualStudio2010 it works perfectly. Then I deploy the package to my SqlServer2012 "Intgegration Services Catalogs" and run the deployed package from the SqlManagementConsole I got the error.
The source is an oracle DB and the query wich calculate the field "MONJTO_HRSEXTR" do it with this "sum(nvl(h.monto,0)) monto_hrsext" on the select statement.
I guess the problem is SSIS thinks that the column MONTO_HRSEXTR is "Unicode string[DT_WSTR]" with "lenght=38" and when the conversion process try to cast to Decimal(12,2) it fails. There are 2 big questions here
1.Why it works on my development PC and not in the server when deployed?
2.why the "Data Conversion Transtormation Editor" thinks the field is a Unicode string[DT_WSTR] if that field is a sum result from numerics fields in the oracle table

No one from Apple here - we're just users like you. All I can tell you is that electronic fail and with MacBook Pros (and most notebooks) the components are so integrated as to make a repair to the logic board practically impossible, hence the high prices charged for repairs.
Only you can decide if you want to have your computer repaired or put the money towards the purchase of a new computer. If you do decide to purchase a new unit I would suggest that you also purchase the AppleCare Protection Plan which increases your warranty from one year to three years.

IOS5 on iPad1, iPad2 and iPhone4S all with iCloud on. Lion 10.7.2 installed on my MacBookPro and iCloud set up/on. Any new iCal entry on either iPad or on the iPhone ends up via iCloud on both iPads and iPhone. BUT NOT ON THE MacBookPro. And iCal entry on the MacBookPro does NOT GET SENT to iCloud.com or to either iPad or the iPhone. This is a huge problem for me because I do all my office scheduling on the iPad or iPhone but rely on the MakeBookPro to print out daily client lists. Hi Tiri2014,
There are some differences between Remote PowerShell and Exchange Management Shell. You cannot use the pipeline when you run some cmdlets by using Remote PowerShell.

Not a lot that you can do about it - except returning the CS6 update, and getting the full version. Do remember that Fireworks is no longer developed by Adobe, and is effectively a "dead" application. You may want to invest your money in alternative software.
Alternatively, try to seek out a legit copy of CS5, and update that one. You might be successful on ebay - but there are a lot of illegal versions on sale on ebay, unfortunately.
