Templates will not load

Hi there, I really REALLY need some help!
I'm using DVD Studio 4.2.1 and when importing a template all I get is a progress bar that never finishes. I have to Force Quit the application every time I've tried this.
I have already tried deleting preferences and reinstalling the program as per instructions from apple but the same problem arises. I have installed the update as well.
It's so frustrating that I've been forced to use iDVD which I cannot keep doing! Can someone PLEASE suggest what the problem is here?

Do you mean trying to apply a template to a menu by clicking in the template pallette or are you trying to actually import the template into the asset bin? (Or this some other template you have done in another application?)
On the reinstall did you remove the old receipts first?

Templates will not load in Firefox

I have updated several of our intranet pages using templates.
I really like that I can change the template and change all of the
pages at once. The files load and look great in IE6. However, when
I load the pages in Firefox 3.0.3, I only get the data and none of
the template. I am using Dreamweaver 8 and Windows XP SP2.
Since these are intranet pages, I cannot give you links, but
I am pasting the beginning of each file below.

I have tried taking out the xhtml stuff and putting a direct
link of template="/Templates/Basic.dwt". This worked great in
Firefox, but then the text was all huge in IE6. I guess I don't
understand why Firefox isn't seeing the template file. I have
loaded the Mozilla HTML Validator and the only errors I am getting
are using bordercolor. Any ideas or help would be greatly
appreciated because I have been banging my head against a wall all
day.

DW had DWT files first - the syntax was quite simple. The
format was copied
by both GoLive and FrontPage using that simple format. So -
DWT files
created by DW4 or earlier will work in both GL and FP. With
DMX, the
Template syntax was drastically changed, allowing for things
like nested
templates, editable attributes, repeat regions, optional
regions, template
parameters/expressions, etc. Nobody but DW adopted that
format.
Thus, DW can read and use any GL/FP template (at least as far
as the
Template syntax goes). But no other app can use a DW>4
version Template.

Report template will not load

When I opened Pages report template a slave window opened which appeared to be loading something; however, it never loads, nor stops. the only way to clase the progema is to Froce Quit. Now I cannot work on any Pages document because the report template open whenever I opn another Pages docs. Has anyone els had this problem? If so how can I resolve it? My ssytem is OS 10.8.5, running on a MacBook Pro with a 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Dou Processor.

My site will not load in design view?

I can not figure this out for the life of me but I am hoping someone here can give me a simple solution. I have spent endless hours trying to figure out why my site will not load when attempting to open any of the template or html files of my local site in design view. They open fine in Code view but when I click on design view, I get an hour glass that only goes away if I close dreamweaver using ctrl + alt + delete and use the task manager to close the process. My web address is www.thebluedot.net if that helps...
Any web pages outside of my actual site open fine so I am not sure what is causing the issue with my site itself? I have opened the template and have deleted all the code from it and attempted to view the file in design view and still get the same problem. Is there perhaps something simple that I am overlooking? My site worked fine in design view several days ago and I can not think of any changes that I made that may be causing the problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the entire adobe suite and I am still having the issue.
I am running on Windows Vista and have 4 gigs of ram and a 2.6 Core Duo processor if that helps.
Please help me out here. Really would appreciate any help you can provide!

I am using Dreamweaver CS4 and I tried deleting the config folder. Still no luck...
Eerything opens fine except for files fom my site. I have deleted the site from Manage Sites and recreated it but still am having the same problem.
When I delete the Configuration folder do I have to reset it up some how? Why is dreamweaver rendering all my other files outside of my site folder successfully in desgn view and not giving any other files an issue? I really hope I can get this resolved soon.

Quiz Will Not Load

I wrote a quiz using a template in Captivate 4. It runs fine in Captivate, when I preview it with the F4 key, but when I publish it and try to run the htm or swf file, it will not load and does not run at all.
Any ideas?

I still cannot login to my account after a month, i had some intail contact with sky but then they have taken to ignoring me after i explained the issue so i will assume that they hav,ent got a clue. I really enjoyed playing the app but i have been left frustrated with Skys lack off assistance in getting my issue resolved. On the MBP, in iTunes, switch to Song view and enable the iCloud Status column by pulling down View > View options and selecting the option for "iCloud Status." Close the small window. Look for any tracks that have a status of "waiting." If you see several of them disable iTunes Match while holding down the Option key. Quit iTunes, wait a few seconds, then open it again and turn iTM back on. Let it compelete the scan. Wait until all tracks that are "waiting" have a status of either "matched" or "uploaded."
On the iPad, turn off iTunes Match then launch the Music app and let the contents clear out. Power cycle the iPad for good measure, then re-enable the service once all the tracks in iTunes have been processed.

I have songs that have been purchased and they show up in my I tunes but the are not showing up bold like all other songs in my library, they will not let me download from the cloud and will not load onto my ipod.

I have a handfull of songs in my library that are not showing up bold like the other songs. When I click the icon to download from the cloud nothing happens and they will not load onto my ipod. When I look for them in the purchased area they show up as purchased and downloaded.

Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue.

Drop down menus on iPad, the first selection in the drop down will not load as a selection when using safari, what can I do? I use this for my mobile, on-site auto repair business and not being able to call up repair and diagnostic info and reference for some cars is troublesome for sure. It works fine on the computer and I have installed a remote desktop app as a workaround but it is unreliable because the desktop is not business dedicated and may be off or in use at the time. So is there a known fix for this?
Let me paint a more descriptive picture, visualize 4 drop down selection menus, first one is for year, next one is for make, 3rd one is model and the last one is for engine size/type. If I wanted to choose a 2012 vehicle it wont work because it is the top selection on the list. This can be forced by selecting any other year and then coming back to 2012. Ok fine, but then let's say I wanted to choose Acura as the make, well it won't take it because again it's the top selection. Again you work around it be selecting any other make and coming back to Acura. Ok now select the model, same trend follows. But now since most Acura vehicles come with dedicated engines and no optional engines I have only 1 selection in that final drop down menu and it will not take my selection and therefore never let me proceed to the info I need.
This is also true when ordering parts from my wholesaler's website, they use drop downs and I can only get to that last drop down and then I'm stuck. This is blindingly frustrating, what options do I have. I'm not opposed to any avenue at this point.

Did you ever figure this out? I bought my iPad last week to use in my business as well. I assume you are trying to use alldata? That is where I noticed this same issue. I had problems with identifix working with safari but downloaded a different browser and that works fine. Alldata does not work with either browser. The main difference is that on identifix if there is only one engine selection, it automatically selects the only option and continues to the home page. With alldata you have to make the selection manually even if there is only one option. Honestly if I can't get this to work I am going to return the iPad as it looses a significant amount of usefulness to men

ITunes and Quicktime will not load

Hi, when i try and load my iTunes, it will not load. It has been working fine for months, but has recently stopped!
When i try and load iTunes, i am given the standard Windows "iTunes has encountered a problem" screen with the error message of:

So i "Repaired" iTunes, which didnt fix the problem, i uninstalled it, which also didnt fix it.
Then i decided to try and uninstall Quicktime, due to it being the root of the problem, and i was greeted with this error:

QTInstallCode.QuickTimeUninstallPrc
Any ideas on what is the problem, and how to fix it?! Because i cannot install a new quicktime whilst this one is still on my computer, and i cant get it off!!

Okay... I'm waiting for this answer too!! Exact problem...was working fine now I get the "Itunes has encountered a problem...." I attempted to run Quicktime (it is needed, I understand) but now it will not run. I uninstalled all (could not even find Quicktime) and attempted to reinstall. Itunes apparently reinstalled but Quicktime will not... and now nothing is running.

I have to click the link several time before it will load and sometimes when they do load it does not show the page right. It is like the HTML is messed up or something. I have tried everything I can think of. I started in safe mode, still did it., I removed add-ons, still did it., I reset Firefox and still did it., I completely uninstalled Firefox and re-installed Firefox and it still does it. I have tried Malware Bytes Anti-Malware scans and Avast boot-time scans and found no malware or viruses. I have found that those websites open the first time with no problems on my IE9 and they used to do so in Firefox 26.0. I'm at my wit's end. The website links are in my bookmarks and are used all the time so they are trusted and my avast is set to allow them. They range from news websites to gun websites and everything I have read says that Mozilla does not filter those unless something has changed recently.

.gif files will not load into site

I posted a question earlier about pages not loading and the question was answered, but now my .gif files will not load. Below is the log:

I have them loading into the images folder that is in the htdocs folder.
I stated in my previous question that I am self taught via the adobe DW tutorial. I had a catastrophic computer crash and had to reload everything. I apparently did not tell DW which file to load into before and now that is fixed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was never a big fan of using DW to FTP. There are several FTP programs that you might find work better than DW. For example Filezilla, free and works pretty darn well.

For me, being able to graphically see my local site on one half my screen and the site as it sits on the server on the other half of the screen really helps me quickly spot problems if I upload something and it doesn't display.
Anyway... DW is not the only option for loading files to your server.
