I am trying to temporarily disable the "Maintain synchronization information" option from the Remote Info category of the advanced view of the Site Definition dialog box. Where is that option located in DW CS6?

Thank you for your response. Where do I find remote servers in the Manage Sites? When I click on Site > Manage Sites > this is the screen that appears:
If I click at on the Edit “pencil” on the lower left – this is the screen that appears and the options under advanced settings:
There are is no remote server option, no options under “Server”, and no server options under “Advanced Settings.”
Please tell me where to find this in Dreamweaver CS6. Thank you!!

UI dialogs are an application setting, not a file property. Selectively suppressing them on a per-file basis is not possible, but you can of course create an action and suppress the dialogs...

How to temporarily disable the mouse on a Mac?

Over the last year I've gotten really big into using keyboard shortcuts and I'm amazed at how much more quickly I can fly around the computer now. I also learned how to use Quicksilver on a Mac and love that for quickly switching between apps without having to go for the mouse.
What I'm wondering is whether anything exists that temporarily disables the mouse to basically force you to learn keyboard shortcuts and other ways to navigate "mouse-lessly". Ideally something where the mouse would be disabled and you'd have do something to actually re-enable it anytime you want to use the mouse. After having something like that going for a few days my guess is that you'd have learned most of the remaining shortcuts?
Please let me know if any of you have ever come across something like this. Thanks!!

My K & M pane has all the mouse stuff, but none of the trackpad stuff, of course.
The trackpad thing has this really nice video that goes with the gestures configurations.
But no "ignore trackpad input" thingy. And no "accidental input" thingy either.
I have suspected that on the new MBPs with the new gesture trackpad, that some items have been eliminated. For example when using gestures, one cannot "Ignore accidental trackpad input" when it may be that several fingers on the pad are not accidental at all.
My MBP is late 2007.
As a side issue, the newest MBPs do not have firewire, and I don't want one w/o FW.

Just found out off the owner that the DVD drive doesn't work..
SO! The DVD drive doesn't work and it seems like the only way to install Win7. I have a feeling that this model doesn't do USB very well....
will an external DVD drive work for this? or some I find someone with a toshiba that has the same model dvd drive inside and swap them for an hour while I do it...

As for how to find your product and numbers, on my HP TouchSmart 320-1030, for example, I found both numbers on a sticker on the back of my PC, near the bottom, just under the inputs (USB, power, etc.). I also found that information in roughly the same area on my friend's HP ENVY TouchSmart 23-d034. A really easy way to find out is to press the CTRL, ALT, and S keys. The HP Support Information box will open, showing your model number, product number, serial number, and other important information. I used Snipping Tool to take a screen capture of this information on my screen, and then I printed it and emailed it to myself. It's good information to have on hand if you're getting support, making warranty inquiries, or for your insurance files, if your PC were, say, damaged in a fire, tornado, etc. Once you obtain that information, go to the Drivers and Download page. Click the Support and Drivers button, and enter your product number. Check for new drivers for your product. You can also get support and warranty information at the above link.

Cannot see the "get CD information" option

I have a 5310 and when I ripped my first few CD's onto the phone using Nokia PC Suite the "CD information" from Gracenote came up without a problem. On the next occasion when using Nokia Music Manager v2.0, I noted that the CD information was not coming up after inserting the CD into the drive and so I tried to initiate this by looking under Options for "get CD information" but this option does not exist for me to select (even when trying the same CD's as before, for which the info came up OK). AS a result, I am finding I need to type all the CD details and I know that this should not be necessary. Any ideas what has gone wrong?

Recently firefox has started loading the plugin checker in a new tab everytime it starts. This is annoying and turning off the automatic check for addon updates doesn't stop it.
