Temporarily turning off all the calculations within a sheets

I am new to numbers and have just transferred a reasonably large spreadsheet from Excel. Having now reworked the analysis sheet is it almost unusable because every time I insert a figure in the input table numbers recalculates everything. Is there a way to stop the automatic recalculation and choose when you want to recaclculate as you can in Excel?

But I guess that what would be more useful is a serious revision allowing the application to be more responsive.
Even on a recent machine running 10.6.4, the wheel of death appears too often when I run Numbers.

It should have said: "How do I turn off the 'Ken Burns' effect of all the photos without..."etc.
Having read another comment on this forum, I think I have the answer.
By going to File>Project Properties, and then turning off the Ken Burns effect.
Don't know how you feel about iMovie 11, but I think its pretty awesome don't you think?

Hi, thank you very much for your reply. No my phone was never been jailbreak-ed. Never been dropped in water or in any wet surface. Dropped on the floor while texting yes, but it was just a one time incident, last year august i can clearly remember, but after that no more (phone still works fine even after.) restored the phone again earlier, but problem still occured. Will try to go to Apple also to ask and have it checked. Just worried because my phone is already out of warranty. Will keep you posted. Again, thanks. If you have any more advice just let me know. It would mean a lot.

Is there a way to go back to previous version of software as I don't like vers 1.1. Restoring it does not work and it turns off all the time after around 10 secs

Is there any way to go back to prvious version of software befoe 1.1 on ipod nano 6th generation. After update it switches off all the time after about 10 secs and I preferred it when I could listen to songs when in sleep mode without using too much battery power

That was the problem. They were there, just not properly linked. I used the one I completed in CS6 trial version (after preflight). When I exported that one and opened it in CS5 all was good. I think I will make the upgrade as soon as I can afford it, but at least now I can make the system work for my needs. Thank you for your help!

My Lenovo ThinkStation D20 turn off all the sudden

I have a ThinkStation D20 which used to work for a quiet few months until it starts to power off all the sudden and now I am unable to use it b/c it happens frequently I do re installing windows cleaning each fans swiping one of the fan and still the problem is happening. Please any ideas?

I also have same case recently, power-off suddenly when I using the D20 (around power-on 4 hrs then power-cut suddenly).
I have called the support center locally, that stated which may be the power supply problem, mother board problem or memory problem ?
I would like to learn from here that IF "memory problem" will cause power-off suddenly or will be blue screen ??
Or we should say that case by case ?

Samsung Reality Turns Off All the Time!

I've had the samsung reality for a while now. Occasionally, it would randomly turn off & turn back on. Recently it started doing it allllll the time. When I tried to send or save messages it will just turn off. How can I fix this?!?!

We want to thank you for the feedback. As previously stated, if you are having any resetting issues, please make sure your software is up to date. The latest software is u820.DK17. To check the software:
From the main screen, press Menu.
Press Settings & Tools.
Press Phone Info.
Press SW/HW Version.
If the software is current, a factory reset would be the next option. Please make sure you backup your content before resetting the phone.
Reset:
·          From the main screen, press Menu.
·          Press Settings & Tools.
·          Press Phone Settings.
·          Press Security.
·          Enter Enter Phone Lock Code ???? displays.
·          Enter the 4 digit lock code, press Done (default: last 4 digits of phone number).
·          Press Restore Phone
·          Display: Permanently erase all user data & reset settings to factory defaults? Press Yes.
·          Device will power cycle Off and on. Device will need to be reprogrammed by doing *228

I'm wanting to temporarily turn off all my mac keyboard shortcuts

So I have an Wacom Intuos tablet and am trying to set one of the express keys to: command,shift,option,esc which automatically force quits the application you are in. However when I attempt to set this up in the tablet it automatically force quits the Intuos and I never get the keys to become an express key. So I'm thinking if I could temporarily turn of the keyboard shortcuts from taking effect on my mac I could then put the shortcut into my Intuos and then come back and turn keyboard shortcuts back on. Make sense? I'm not wanting to just put in the command Q option which asks if I'm sure, etc.

Using ios 5.0.1 in an iPhone 4. Can't get the gps to turn off in the Reminder app even though I do not have a location reminder set. Battery life suffers because of it. What can I do other than keep the app turned off all the time in settings?

Installed ios 5 and created a location reminder to see how it worked. The gps icon came on and I expected it would because how else would the phone know where I'm at.
After I was reminded and marked it as complete I also deleted the reminder from the app. The gps never went off and the only way I can get it to turn off is by switching the app off in the location settings.
Installed ios 5.0.1 and the same thing. I turned on the app in the location settings to see what would happen and I was again reminded by location to the same reminder. It said in the alert that the reminded was 28 days old. Like I said I deleted the reminder from the app. Somehow it's still in the apps memory and I have no idea how to get rid of it for good.

Launch System Preference. Click General.
Go to the section "Number of recent items".
Uncheck the box preceding
"Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps".
Restart.

Yes. Reset network settings. Head to Settings -> General -> Reset and tap Reset Network Settings.
