Temporary Error - PRX4

Hi All,
For months our Exchange servers (2013 - 1 x CAS - 2 x MBX (Disparate Datacenters), have sat there chundering away, happily working nothing wrong, patching when patched.
Two days ago we started getting a PRX4 Error - rebooting hasnt cleared it to down and it still exists, its currently affecting only one site, the other (DR) site isnt affected and can process email happily.
Does anyone have any ideas? My google fu appears to be letting me down at the moment.

Please check the following things .
1.Please check did you have an enough space on the disk where exchange queue database is residing .
2.More over these kind of errors will happpen due to some misconfigurations on the network card dns settings in the exchange server and also make sure dns server in your environment is capable of resolving the internal and external dns queries.
Same time if you have more than one network adapters please set the first preference to the network adapter which holds the exchange server ip address and dns server settings .You can set the preference via advanced settings option .
3.Please check the send connector settings in the exchange server 2013 there will be two options on that
1.internal dns lookup - On this settings just check whether you have choosen the right adapter in exchange server 2013 which has the capability to resolve internal dns queries .
2.external dns lookup - On this settings just check whether you have choosen the right adapter in exchange server 2013 which has the capability to resolve external dns queries .

I keep getting the message below, fair enough but I am waiting for an important email regarding the completion date for a house sale. I have contacted BT "Help" who's answer was it should be sorted by next week. Great the house sale could fall to bits by then.

But if it happens regularly it must be more than a random failure, unless the email system is falling to bits in which case it should be fixed.

Repeats for work items with temporary errors for background WI

Hi!
I have a task that generates a temporary error method in order to activate the Repeats for work items with temporary errors. It currently has 5 repeats at intervals of 2 min. After running above the WI-status is 'Error'. When Restart by SWPR runs only once and sends the message 'Work item set to error following 05 failed attempts'.
Please can tell me any way that when run again relaunch fixed repetitions.

Please show me since it is the design of the workflow. It is probable that you are inside a repetitive sequence that send several work items.

Temporary Error Using CX_BO_TEMPORARY

I am creating a workflow using classes rather than BO's for the first time. I want to use a temporary error and see that the suggested way to do this is to raise exception CX_BO_TEMPORARY. I'm not having any luck getting this to work.
I have created a class with a method that does nothing but raise the exception with the simple syntax "RAISE EXCEPTION TYPE CX_BO_TEMPORARY.", this is the only line of code in the method. I then created a task in my workflow to call this method and set it up to handle temporary errors on the Misc tab.
The workflow goes into error rather than temporary error. It has a message "An exception with the type CX_BO_TEMPORARY occurred, but was neither handled locally, no declar....".
I also tried adding CX_BO_TEMPORARY to the exception tab on the method itself and raising it using it using the same syntax. I did not model this outcome in the workflow. The workitem remains in "in process" status and does not go into temporary error. I try running RSWWERRE 3 or 4 times and the workitem never goes into error status.
Any suggestions on what I am missing here?

Figured out what was happening here. Simple problem, I accidentally missed activating one of the methods from the IF_WORKFLOW interface. Short dumps were getting generated causing the workitem to stay "in process".

Unable to open delivery reports in Exchange 2013 SP1. Gives warning "The status for the recipient can't be determined because of a temporary error. Please try again later."

This seems to be occurring with all users (have tested a few, all display the same exact error message).
When I click on "Message Delivery Report" in Outlook 2010 or 2013, it points me to the ECP and displays this message "Warning The status for the recipient can't be determined because of a temporary error. Please try again later." I'm
not sure which log files to look at. The last time I remember it worked was before I applied SP1, I think CU3.
Our environment is two servers running Exchange Server 2013 Std. SP1 (847.32) in a DAG.

From the error description, I would like to clarify the following thing:
Delivery Reports is a message tracking tool that you can use to search for delivery status on email messages sent to or from users in your organization's address book, with a certain subject. In Exchange 2013, you can track messages for up to 14 days after
they were sent or received. Please make sure the message you are tracking isn't older than 14 days.

Temporary Error Message 14

I keep getting this message when trying to open my email. It's been happening for several days. I've tried, but it still keeps happening. Help!
Temporary Error: We’re sorry, but Verizon Yahoo Mail can't load due to a temporary error. You can try back again shortly, or visit our help pages for ways to troubleshoot the issue.

This is a common error message found with Yahoo! server emails. The troubleshooting tips will ask you to change the browser or update it. Trust me, it doesn't work.
Try getting an email client (Outlook, Windows Live Mail, Thunderbird) and set it up to get your emails on the computer. If you have a smartphone, set up your emails on it.
Until Yahoo! decides to admit there is an issue with their server, this is the only solution to get all your emails. You know all emails aren't shown as long as you keep receiving temporary error 14. Try an email client and I will bet you will find extra emails that you never saw online.

Safari - Facebook: "There was a temporary error, please try again. Click to send again."

I have a macbook 15 (Late 2008) with 10.6.8 running + Safari 5.1.10 and I have experienced two problems with the Facebook chat:
1. Often (but I would say almost always) the chat window is cut below and I cannot visualize the box where to type my messages.
2. Today I have installed the FacebookVideoCalling_v1.6 to perform video calling, and what I am not able to send messages, but I always got the error: "There was a temporary error, please try again. Click to send again." Nevertheless, by following the suggestion to try later, does not solve the situation.
Does anyone experienced the same problem?
If it can be useful, I have some additional info. This the Java version I have:
java version "1.6.0_65"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_65-b14-462-10M4609)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.65-b04-462, mixed mode)
And here is what I got under the menu "Developers" (the screenshot is in italian, but I guess it is easy to understand it. Some translation: Svluppo = Develop, Mostra = Show, Abilita = Enable, Disabilita = Disable)

Temporary errors automatically deletes the work item.

Hi,
I have a background workflow task which calls a ABAP class & method. The method raises the temporary exception, cx_bo_action_cancelled when an error occurs. However, when the workflow catches this exception, the corresponding work item (belonging to this task) is marked "logically deleted" and the workflow completes without error. May I know what is wrong, how do I trap this temporary error/exception and not let the workflow completes with the errornous workitem automatically deleted ? Thank you.

I think because you are capturing the error has exception so its logically deleting. In the task were you are using this method activate other branch ie another outcome. So when ever this error occurs you divert the path in other branch of the task and build your logic.

ME returned a temporary error

I've been receiving the "ME returned a temporary error" message after I have been using my iPad for a few mins.
What is causing this error and how can I fix it.

For anyone still following this thread, I just spoke at length with a Telus tech who seems to know what he's taking about (unlike other techs who are merely script readers). The error that we are receiving happens when The iPad attempts to connect to the Internet. The micro-SIM sends a message to the Telus servers indicating that a connection is required for a particular iPad. The responding message is what we get. He said that we should ACCEPT the message and proceed normally. It does not adversely affect the performance of the iPad. Telus does not really support iPad functionality but merely provides the means necessary to connect to the Internet. E tech I spoke with did seem to think that the addition of voice and text to the micro-SIM may be a part of the problem but unfortunately, there is no way to remove these two functions. He also said that if asked, the text portion could be disabled but would not guarantee that the iPad would connect if done. I guess I'm chicken because I said, no, don't worry about it, I'll live with the displayed connection error. Besides, it's not like we turn our iPads on and off repeatedly, only when its necessary to clear the memory cache or when a RESTORE is required, or when some tech thinks it might be necessary when troubleshooting. Otherwise, we tend to just let the iPad go to "sleep".

YAHOO MAIL SHOWS TEMPORARY ERROR 14 IN FIREFOX?

Been receiving "Temporary Error 14" for days now??? I followed the "Workaround" by Signing out of Yahoo Mail, clearing cache and cookie, restarting my web browser and signing back into my Yahoo Mail several times with no success??? Other Family Members are able to log into their Yahoo Mail using the same computer with no problem??? I'm using Firefox 28.0! I'm able to sign-in on a friends computer with chrome???

How does one contact Yahoo Mail because all I receive is a canned reply that tells me to do the steps I have already done???

Hi,
I have had this message now for the past week, as i am unable to retrieve any e-mails i phoned BT for help !
The guy on the other end of the phone asked me if it was OK to do a 'screen sharing session' i was a bit dubious at first but allowed him to continue, an hour later and back to square one, i asked him if i can revert back from the new 'Faster email' to the old 'classic' mail, he didn't seem to know, in the end he told me that because i am getting this error message it was down to 'site maintenance'.
Well i have herd some excuses but that takes the biscuit, site maintenance doesn't last for a week, any way he didn't really know what to suggest, then after speaking to him i get a customer satisfaction call from BT, is this a joke ! Asking me if i was satisfied with the outcome, NO i said as he wasn't anymore knowledgeable than myself.
Well thanks BT for 'reeling me in' on an 18 month contract.
My old isp whom i was with for over 15 years, was expensive, but at least i could get email.

Welcome the the forum. Are you using Yahoo/VZ mail or standard Verizon webmail https://mail.verizon.com/webmail/driver?nimlet=showmessages&view=emails
In either case please try a different browser such as firebox in place of Internet explorer (or vice versa)

BT Yahoo email 'Temporary' error 8 - anyone else h...

For about 6 days now I have kept getting a 'temporary error 8' message when I try to load my emails. I tried the suggested troubleshooting tips but got nowhere and although the message states engineers are working on the issue, I'm starting to wonder as it has been nearly a week now. Is there anything else I can do to fix this? Getting increasingly frustrated now as I have about 600 emails which I cannot access!

I keep getting a "Temporary Error (404) Numeric Code: 7" when I attempt to open pictures on my gmail account. They open in other web browsers, but not this one. Anyone know what the issue is? It's been doing it for months. I can download a picture, just not view it. Please help!

Temporary Error

I bought a new Seagate 320 GB hard drive to use time machine on, as my old external hard drive is now too small for my back ups.
I formatted the hard drive according to Seagate's suggestions, and also tried reformatting the hard drive following the suggestions in the time machine trouble shooting document that is available on the discussion forums.
I keep getting the same error message ""Backup was not performed, The problem may be temporary. Try again later to back up. If the problem persists, use Disk Utility to repair your backup disk."
No matter how many different ways I try formatting/partitioning the drive I keep getting this same error message during my initial time machine back up. I contacted Seagate and they said I had to contact apple for help.
I honestly have no idea what is wrong. The back up fails at different points each time (so I don't think it is one file causing the problem). But it never makes it to the end.
Would love help or suggestions.
