Termination Workbench for PSU

Hi
Can anyone give an example of the termination workbench being used in a PSU scenario where full and final settlement is not done for an employee till months after relieving date (due to certain benefits offered). I understand that termination workbench for an employee cannot run if status is not active(3).
In this case, how do we pay/settle benefits/dues from/to employee some of which are kept on hold or paid in the interim till all dues are closed.

  • Termination Workbench Australia PY- Schema Variant

    Hi,
Would like to know how to assign a variant to a termination workbench for AU PY. I need to assign a custom schema rather than Q000 to the workbench for the execution ?

    Thanks Federico.
I actually could not make much out of this tcode
The code which gets called for report RPCTO2Q0 (Termination Workbench) is PQTO. When this is run, it runs the schema Q000 for the workbench. I also tried changing the variant for Application 'CALC' in table t52ocv, but it didn't work.

  • Termination Workbench how will it work and factors.

    Hi,
Termination Workbench how will it work and what are the factors need to consider at the time of implementation.
    Regards,
    BusinessSuite.

    Hi,
When we are implementing the Termination Workbench we have to consider the following activies.
    Purpose
This component helps in terminating an employee from the payroll.
The Termination Workbench computes the various types of payments due to, or payable by the employee at the time of termination. For example, Gratuity, Superannuation, Leave Encashment or any pending Reimbursable allowances.
The termination of employment may be due to the:
    Resignation of an employee
    Retirement of an employee
Voluntary retirement or premature retirement by an employee
    Integration
1.Contract Elements info type (0016) u2013 Where you maintain the details of the employment contract, between the company and the employee. Termination Workbench determines the notice period for termination using this info type.
2.Date Specifications info type (0041) u2013 Where you maintain the date of Normal Retirement of the employee. Termination Workbench computes the relief on Voluntary Retirement Service benefit for the employee using the data maintained in this info type.
3.Personal IDs info type (0185) u2013 Termination Workbench obtains the Gratuity and Superannuation Trust details for the employee from the info type.
4.Additional Payments info type (0015) u2013 After the transaction is complete, Termination Workbench updates the payment records in the Additional Payments info type (0015). The updated amounts are disbursed to the employee through the payroll run, along with other components of the salary.
5.Actions info type (0000) u2013 When an employee is terminated using the Termination Workbench, the Termination Workbench delimits the employee in the Actions info type (0000).
    Features
The Termination Workbench comprises of the following processes:
Termination transaction (PC00_M40_TERM)- Using this transaction you can specify the details of employee Gratuity, Superannuation, Leave Encashment, Voluntary Retirement Services and Reimbursable Allowances.
The transaction reads the relevant info types and determines the amounts payable to the employee. For example, amounts payable as Gratuity, Superannuation, Notice Pay and Leave Encashment. You can modify these amounts using the transaction. When you execute the transaction, it updates the relevant wage types in the Additional Payments info type (0015). This transaction also creates a batch session for delimiting the info type records.
Batch Input monitoring transaction (SM35) u2013 Using this transaction, you can execute the batch session created by the Termination transaction (PC00_M40_TERM). Upon execution, the batch session delimits the info types configured for delimiting, in the info group.
The batch session also delimits the employee in the Actions info type (0000). You can set the Return Action Type for Termination Workbench feature (40TRM) for the Action Type to be defaulted in Actions info type (0000) when the info type record gets delimited.
Payroll u2013 when you execute the payroll for the period in which the employee was terminated, the payroll processes the amounts payable at the time of termination. For example, Notice Pay, Gratuity, Superannuation and Leave Encashment. The payroll also calculates the applicable exemptions.
    Warm Regards,
    Devi.,

  • Termination workbench(India)

    Folks,
We are on the verge of implementing Termination workbench. It automatically delimits the relevant infotypes, esp. 0000/0001 once the termination is processed. The help document suggests that 0000/0001 should not be delimited at any cost, but why? When the EE quits the company, it's better to delimit the relevant infotypes so that his data is secure and avoids users feeding wrong input some time later.
<b>My question is, is it advisable to use termination workbench to process the F&F after considering the above issues?</b>
<b>The other question is, i have created a WT for notice pay and created the relevant infotypes, esp. 16 and when i execute the transaction, it did not compute/display the notice pay difference amount in payments/deduction section. I doubt that the transaction didn't recognise the dates in IT16, but if  i run the transaction without IT16, the system throws an error "To update IT16".</b>
You are the right guys to suggest me.
    Regards
    KK

  • Termination workbench and its processes

    Hi Gurus,
I would like to know about Termination workbench and its processes.
    Thanks,
    Prabha

    Hi,
The Termination Workbench computes the various types of payments due to, or payable by the employee at the time of termination. For example, Gratuity, Superannuation, Leave Encashment or any pending Reimbursable allowances.
The termination of employment may be due to the:
    u2022     Resignation of an employee
    u2022     Retirement of an employee
u2022     Voluntary retirement or premature retirement by an employee
For information on setting up the Termination Workbench functionality in the SAP R/3 system, refer to the IMG under Payroll India  Termination Workbench.
The Termination Workbench comprises the following processes:
-Termination Transaction (PC00_M40_TERM) - Using this transaction you can specify the details of employee Gratuity, Superannuation, Leave Encashment, Voluntary Retirement Services, and Reimbursable Allowances.
The transaction reads the relevant infotypes and determines the amounts payable to the employee. For example, amounts payable as Gratuity, Superannuation, Notice Pay, and Leave Encashment. You can modify these amounts using the transaction. When you execute the transaction, it updates the relevant wage types in the Additional Payments Infotype (0015). This transaction also creates a batch session for delimiting the infotype records.
For more information, refer to Termination Transaction (PC00_M40_TERM)
-Batch Input Monitoring Transaction (SM35) u2013 Using this transaction, you can execute the batch session created by the Termination Transaction (PC00_M40_TERM). Upon execution, the batch session delimits the infotypes configured for delimiting, in the infogroup. For more information on configuring the infogroup, refer to the IMG under Payroll India -Termination Workbench  Define Infogroups.
The batch session also delimits the employee in the Actions Infotype (0000).
-Payroll u2013 when you execute the payroll for the period in which the employee was terminated, the payroll processes the amounts payable at the time of termination. For example, Notice Pay, Gratuity, Superannuation, and Leave Encashment. The payroll also calculates the applicable exemptions

  • Terminating Event for BUS2017 Custom Method

    Dear Experts,
I have an issue with the Terminating Event of the Workflow for BO : BUS2017. The event is getting triggered but receiver is not being picked.
I have created two events GR_103 and POST_105 in the Custom BO ZBUS2017 by delegating it to BUS2017. GR_103 is the triggering event for my workflow which I have triggered in the POST_DOCUMENT Method of the Implmentation for BADI : MB_MIGO_BADI.
GR_103 is triggered while doing MIGO (Goods Receipt) for Movement Type 103. My Workflow is triggered perfectly and then I have used a Dialog Asynchronous Task in which I have called the MIGO Transaction for Releasing the GR Blokced Stock using the Movement Type 105. I have created a Custom Method POST in the BO ZBUS2017 and I have used the FM: MIGO_DIALOG to call the MIGO. I am trying to raise the POST_105 event in the Method MB_DOCUMENT_BEFORE_UPDATE of the Interface IF_EX_MB_DOCUMENT_BADI.  I have defined the Terminating Event for the asynchronous Task as POST_105.
Now the event POST_105 is triggered, but SWEL says 'No receiver entered'. Even the SWEINST shows the object data as the current Work Item along with Object Key, but still receiver not picked. When I try to trigger the same event in a test report by using call transaction, then the event triggers and work item gets completed without any issues.
    Please advise.
Below is my terminating event code.
READ TABLE xmseg INTO wa_mseg INDEX 1.
      CONCATENATE wa_mseg-mblnr wa_mseg-mjahr INTO l_objkey.
      IF wa_mseg-bwart = '105' .
        CALL FUNCTION 'SWE_EVENT_CREATE'
          EXPORTING
            objtype           = 'BUS2017'
            objkey            = l_objkey
            event             = 'POST_105'
          EXCEPTIONS
            objtype_not_found = 1
            OTHERS            = 2.
      ENDIF.
    Regards,
    Raju.

Have a COMMIT WORK after the function call. (At least test it - I am not sure if it will have some effects in your BADI - at least you will know whether the issue is about missing commit).
And please use SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT instead of the old function you are using.
Also, make sure that the events will look exactly the same in event monitor SWEL when triggered from your code and when using test tool. Maybe there is some minor difference/mistake (object key, etc.) that you haven't noticed.

    Karri

  • Abap workbench for free to download

i m kinda newbie in abap development, now i m working in sap bps what sometimes i need to build some exits using abap, so id like to know if there is some abap workbench for free to download and practice at home, it exists?
    Regards
    Joseph

    Hi Joseph,
if you click to "download" in the menu of this page or just follow link https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/nw-downloads you will find the list of available downloads. There you can download "SAP NetWeaver 7.01 - ABAP Trial Version" (link https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/80fd9a0a-e306-2a10-c896-b84c77c13ed2) depending on your operation system, where you can do your learning.
If you are using Windows Vista, this operating system is not supported. But then it is just enough to download Microsoft Virtual PC, install Win XP on that and use it ...

  • Terminal command for Folder List?

What is the command line for Terminal to print out a list of folders on my HD? It doesn't have to actually send the result to my printer. I would happy with just a list on the screen.

Open Firefox and drag the folder into its open window.  You'll get this type of presentation:
You can print the Firefox window. Much easier than messing with the Terminal (especially for those of us that are terminally challenged )

Can I connect my Mac (Mac OS X) with other machine (Windows OS) on same LAN using telnet in terminal?
For example, telnet <ip address of other machine>
I m a networking student and I have learned to connect 2 machines on Red hat Linux OS on same Ethernet LAN which has same subnet mask. As Mac OS X is also a linux based OS I m trying to connect my Mac with my friends windows based machine using telnet <ip address of his machine>. However, I get a message "unable to connect to remote host".
Can anyone please tell me is this the problem because of different OS or it is something different!
Please reply...it will of great help..

The machine you're trying to connect to needs a Telnet server running on it - telnetd listening on port 23 (usually).
Incidentally, Mac OS X is not a Linux based OS, it is based on BSD Unix.

  • Termination character for RS232 Instrument

I have an instrument that I am trying to communicate with via RS232.  I am having a difficult time figuring out how to write a command to the instrument using the VISA write VI.  I am able to successfully communicate with the instrument using a software program called Terminal (similar to hyperterminal).  A typical command starts and ends with ^m in Terminal.  For example, here is the command ^md01v00,00^m that returns the heat rate.  How do I write this command in the VISA write VI?  Is the ^m an unprintable character in LabVIEW that is represented in some other format?

    Hi SumTumWong,
I'm thrilled to hear that you resolved your serial communication issue.  As for your framing error that occurs, this is a common issue and we have a Knowledge Base article that explains what this error in full and how to resolve it.  The most common reason why this error occurs is that your serial port and device are configured to use a different settings.  The article shows how make sure that the settings of both your serial port and device are configured properly using Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX).  Let us know if you have any more questions.  Have a great day!
