Terrible noise appears when it wants and as long as it wants

<hi @ all,
I have a Creative x-fi music running on Win7. ?
Normally i have an amazing good sound, but sometimes just out of a sudden it gets terrible (a terrible noise comes to the foreground and the normal sound gets "deeper"). This just appears whenever it wants to.
Sometimes right after PC start for like 2secs, sometimes when i have the PC running for like 0hs without problems.
It suddenly comes and suddenly goes. There is no "program" i started before etc.
And it lasts as long as it wants to, sometimes secs, sometimes minutes (till i restart the pc).
Like:
I start the PC, close all programms running?<span class="lia-user-name UserName" ?<span class="lia-user-name UserName" in background and start VLC to watch a movie.
The movie runs for 2hs without any problems. Suddenly the noise appeary without me even touching the mouse.
2mins later the noise is gone.
I already tried different drivers. The onBoard soundcard (which is deactivated when im running the creative card) has no problems.
Anyone know what this could be or even better how to fix this? Ive really no idea.
Or anyone experienced <span class="lia-user-name UserName" this problem before?

I keep encountering same once in every 2-3 days.
Restarting windows audio service solves the problem
(My) Computer->Manage->Services->Windows Audio->Restart

Strange noise appears when printing

I am running into some issues when trying to print a post card I designed for a client. I created the card in photoshop cs5 with a resolution of 300. After creating it as a psd I exported it as a pdf and then printed it through acroabt x on a xerox 700 digital press using creo rip software. The print looks ok-ish until I look at it under loop. Through the loop I can see alot of digital noise around the text. I printed it again directly from photoshop and removed a background image that was behind the text and that cleaned up some of the noise. Although the text still a little noise. Can any one think of why that might be?

Peter, I'll try your suggestions. As you see, everything looks fine on screen with the PDF. These little 'boxes' appear only when I print.

Ken, as you may remember from my previous posts, I'm new at this so forgive my lack of knowledge. Does 'banding in the gradient' mean you are seeing horizontal lines down the image? I don't get these on my prints but the text box holding the "Cello/Celli! A Celebration of the Cello" prints with the background of the box visible against the gradient behind it. I also get a similar effects below the blue box holding the 'time & place' info. both of these elements have a drop shadow applied.
BTW, my PDF does show faint lines oulining the 'CC' logo text boxes. These don't seem to print but I want to be sure. The logo was created by grouping two text boxes and applying a transarency to them. Hey, now that I look at my print problem it seems as if these 'logo' text boxes might also be having 'compatibility' issues with the backgroung gradient?

Quicktime doesnt appear when i try and open it

there is either something wrong with my computer or there is something wrong with quicktime. when ever i try to open it, it wont appear. i opened up the task maneger and it shows that it is running but it doesnt show. and i think this is the reason my itunes isnt working. before i thought there was something wrong with itunes, but now i think its with quicktime. when ever i try and open itunes, there is a message that says...
"The procedure point QTCF_CFHTTPMessageSetHeaderFieldValue could not be located in the dynamic link library QTCF.dll"
i then press ok and the same message appears. then i press ok on that box, then a meassage comes up that says...
"QuickTime was not found. Quicktime is required to run iTunes. Please unistall iTunes, then install iTunes again."
-i have uninstalled itunes and reinstalled it multiple times and the same message appears.
-i have restored both applications to an earlier date and the same thing happens.
-i have deleted the QTCF.dll file and the same thing happens.
-i put an "x" in the file name so it read "QTCFx.dll" and the same thing happened.
-i have uninstalled both itunes and quicktime, turned off my computer and then reinstalled them, and the same message came up.
what else can i try and to do to fix this very annoying problem??

Could you do a search on QTCF.dll and let us know how many copies of it you find, P4, and their locations, please? (On occasion if other programs install an older copy of a file in a nonstandard location on the PC, QuickTime will see that 9instead of the correct version, and we'll get this sort of thing occurring.

How do I get rid of the software update notification that keeps popping up top right of screen? I want to manage what and when I update and I just don't want some updates. I find this really annoying as all I can do to get rid of it is remind me tomorrow.

Upon sending mail I always get a pop up box saying unable to contact server so I have to click okay.
Often I think an email has gone - only to find it stuck in drafts days later. This is extremely annoying ... mostly I have to wait around and after maybe 5 minutes check my sent box just to be sure it actually went. Even though I heard the whoosh ... doesn't seem to mean it really did go.
Some of my photos in Iphoto just have a big exclamation mark when I try to open them up - any ideas how to fix this one.

I loaded the new version of Outlook and when I get an email with a link attached, when I click to open.. I get a screen to install Chrome.. How do I get rid of that and let Firefox open the link.

I think I'm missing some information here. Is this on your email site using the regular address book? The specifics of how it works and what might have changed in Firefox probably depends on which site it is (e.g., Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail).
If you think the problem might be that Firefox is automatically filling in the form in a way that the site doesn't connect to your address book, you can remove saved form entries or completely disable that feature. Can't delete app. No "X" appears when I tap and hold to delete an app. iOS 7.

I am trying to delete an app. I know the process. Apps wiggle but no "X" appears that will app low me to delete. Why? Any suggestions?

Make sure the App you are tying to delete is not a preinstalled Apple App, as those cannot be removed.
If you are sure its not a default Apple app, make sure that "Deleting Apps" is not restricted in Settings->General Restrictions.

Facetime 'quits unexpectedly' when I try and open it?

This is what appears when I try and access FaceTime, does anyone have any answers as to how I can fix this. I was told by some working at Apple that I should delete the plist file and then restart my computer however it made no difference so I 'put back' the file from my trash but it still won't work. Restart the computer in safe mode. Certain caches maintained by the system will be rebuilt.
Safe mode is much slower to start up than normal. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.

There is no solution. You have to provide the ID and password. There is no way around it. If the person you bought it from can't provide it, return it and get your money back.

While using a drop-down menu i.e. File, edit, image, or even when saving as and choosing the file type; the list appears and I am able to highlight what i want but cannot click on anything.

This is becoming incredibly frustrating. It happens at random time and a restart of the computer is all that helps, then with out any notice it starts to do this again. Mac Book Pro i7 2.2 16 GB 1333 Ram, (2) 450GB SSD both internal to machine. At this point I am losing file because I am unable to save in the file type I need. Does anyone out there know how to solve this issue?

I haven't been unify photoshop much in the past month, but I did try your suggestion and it seemed to work for a while. Today when i went to save a document the same thing happened: click on file>save at this point I can not click on save even though it is highlighted. Tryed to use command s that brings up the save dialogue box, but when I try to change file type I again cannot select it from the drop down menu.

To resolve your issue, you would need to change the Apple ID back to what you had originally, sign out and then change it back. Check out the article below for more information.

Sounds like it is time to take it to an Apple Store or AASP to be serviced. You can also try troubleshooting using Apple's Gray screen appears during startup instructions.

Probably. my macbok pro 13" is 6 months old and makes some very small noises when starting up. For example the optical drive makes a small noise on startup, but it is very brief.
