Terrible sound when pausing video

Whenever i pause a video, spacebar or button, the audio, if any is playing, will not stop, but will repeat very quickly like when a video game locks up. Any one know about this???
Thanks

I was not getting any sound at all. I just recorded video on my friends iphone and I could totally hear the audio. I did a full restore back to factory settings and it is working now. I'll have to see how it goes.

Can you use midi sounds when recording videos on Photobooth?
Basically, i like to record videos of me singing and playing guitar or keyboard, but to get a good sound for the keyboard I'd like to be able to record the audio using MIDI sounds...
Ive got Logic, I've got M-Audio Fast Track Pro, into which i have my mic, guitar, and keyboard midi plaugged into. I can use it to record the mic and guitar on photobooth as they are audio inputs, however i can't use the midi sounds on the keyboard :/ I have tried having logic open with the desired MIDI sound selected whilst recording but it doesnt work...
Is there ANY way this is possible?

  • No sound when recording videos with iphone 4s - ios7

Since I have downloaded ios7 to my iphone 4s I am no longer getting any sounds when recording videos. When looking back at past videos I have recorded, they still have sound in the playback. I have tried resetting my phone and reseting it to factory settings. Any recommendations?

    Hey Bryan3939!
If I'm reading this correctly, it sounds like you might be experiencing an issue with your microphone recording during videos. I have an article for you that can help you troubleshoot this issue:

  • Why don't I have sound when viewing videos on Facebook or you tube?

Why don't. I have sound when viewing videos on Facebook or you tube?

Quicktime or Quicktime Pro (which iTunes uses) don't convert "muxed" ( muxed means multiplexed where the audio and video are stored on the same track) video files properly. It only plays the video and not the audio.
See:iPod plays video but not audio.
You need a 3rd party converter to convert the file with both audio and video.
See this for help: Guide to converting video for iPod (Mac/Windows).

    Adobe Flash Player plug-in
    https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/108086
Adobe Flash Player is directly integrated with Google Chrome and enabled by default. Available updates for Adobe Flash Player are automatically included in Chrome system updates.
If you want to use Adobe Flash Player in other browsers, you’ll need to separately download the Adobe Flash Playerfor those browsers.Enable or disable Adobe Flash Player
These instructions apply to Google Chrome on Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome OS.
Type chromelugins in the address bar to open the Plug-ins page.
On the Plug-ins page that appears, find the "Flash" listing.
To enable Adobe Flash Player, click the Enable link under its name.
To disable Adobe Flash Player completely, click the Disable link under its name.
Note: If you've previously installed Adobe Flash Player separately, you'll see two files listed for the plug-in. If both are listed as enabled, the version bundled with Chrome will be used. To enable a specific version of Adobe Flash Player, clickDetails in the upper-right corner of the page. Then click the Enable link for the version of Adobe Flash Player you want to enable. The table below shows the filename for the version that is integrated with Google Chrome. more at the link above .....

  • I have no sound when watching videos or live streams which works fine with IE or Linux on the same system

I have no sound when watching videos on you tube or live streaming. If I switch to Linux everything is fine in firefox on this system but nothing with firefox in windows. If I use internet explorer everything is fine again, which seems to me to say that the problem lies within firefox 36. Can anyone help with this problem?

Tried that with the same result. I can't understand why it works with Linux (Ubuntu) and not Windows. IE works as well but I prefer to use Firefox, so I guess I'll just have to switch browsers when playing videos - weird.

  • Can I get sound when filming video on Mini iPad?

When I am shooting video with my mini iPad, can I get sound and if so how?

    Hi Nitekitty,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
Yes, you can get sound when shooting video with your iPad mini. Take a look at the section "Take photos and videos" section of the iPad Users Guide. See page 85 in the following link:

  • No sound when recording videos iphone4

    Hello,
When i record videos with my Iphone 4 there is no sound when i read them and, when i try to use the speaker during calls my correspondants don't hear me.
    Any clue about this ?
    Thanks

    Hello Kboum,
It sounds like the microphone on your phone is not functioning correctly in either the Camera app or the Phone app. I recommend the troubleshooting for it in the article named:
    iPhone: Microphone issues
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts5183
Make sure nothing is plugged in to the jack connector.
Make sure nothing is blocking any of the microphones (see the pictures below to locate the microphones on your device)
Make sure none of the microphones is obstructed by dirt or debris.
Turn the iPhone off and then on.
Make sure that the latest version of iOS is installed.
If necessary, find general iPhone hardware troubleshooting suggestions.

  • NO SOUND WHEN MOVING VIDEOS INTO iMOVIE!! something about Mpeg muxed?!?!

I recorded my videos with my sony cybershot camera - no problems. I can rip them onto my Macbook Pro and watch them in quicktime and hear the sound just fine - no problems. But, when I pull the videos into iMovie HD to edit and try to watch the play back, I see video but no sound!! I looked in the help tab and it said that if my videos are Mpeg 1 "muxed" (or something like that) then I won't be able to hear any sound. Well how do I convert my videos to something that will allow me to hear the sound when I'm editing them in iMovie HD???
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!
    Thanks!
Macbook Pro   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    Welcome to discussions, designerman.
iMovie can't import MPEG1 or MPEG 2 files, and that's waht you are trying to do.

  • No sound when importing video CS3

    Hi Guys
Here's my situations. I am a media technician in a school and have a PC running windows 7 and Premier Pro CS3 installed. We have just got some new Lenovo G700 laptops (Windows 8) and I have installed Premiere CS3 on these using the original instal disks.
When I import a video on the laptops I am not getting any sound, when i drag the video onto the timeline there is no audio track. If i use the same video on my PC it works ok! I have had the settings side by side an the ONLY difference I Can see is under the info tab when clicking a video in the project is says 'VIDEO' on the laptops and on my PC it says 'MOVIE' other than that everything is the same!
    Any ideas?
One other thng, the videos play using WMP on my PC with no problems, however on the laptops they freeze and only play the audio, so I was thinking maybe a codec issue? but I have never gone out my way to instal a codec on the PC it's just always worked

    Ryan,
    Welcome to the forum.
A MOD will likely Move this post to the Premiere CS4 & Earlier sub-forum, but your link, and any e-mail subscriptions will follow.
One of the main causes of no Audio, or truncated Audio, on Import is the failure of Audio Conforming not completeing 100%. This article goes into more detail, and offers tips: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3892177#3892177
The Conforming of the Audio is for Premiere, so being able to PLAY the muxed file in WMP is not a good test, other than to insure that the file does contain an Audio Stream.
Good luck, and please let us know if this is an Audio Conforming issue.

  • No sound when watching videos, you tube, etc.  mute button seems to be off, volume up high.  ideas? solutions? thanks

My macbook pro doesn't make any sound when I'm watching you tube or some other videos.  The mute button seems off, volume up at the maximum level.  Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks

lf you have only one mini conector, look in and see if there a red light on, if so take toothpick and insert it in the hole and GENTLY wiggle it around, there is a normalling switch tnat converts the signal from analog to digital

  • Clicking sound when recording Video

When I record video, a clicking/whirring noise made by the camera is recorded on the video. I'm thinking it's the autofocus, or zoom (although it seems to make the noise even if I am not using the zoom.)Any ideas on what is causing this or how to get rid of it?Thanks!

I guess I needed to post that I have an SX50 (I thought for some reason this was an SX50 forum)..and there are no error messages, everything seems to be working fine. It seems the "mechanics" of the camera are being recorded on any video I take.I was hoping to post a video, but I don't seem to be able to do that. Thanks! If I understand you correctly, you maybe picking up auto focus/IS noise from your internal mic every time you record a video.  I had a Canon SX50 before I got my Canon SX60 and I was annoyed by that clicking sound in my video's, if that's what it is.  The SX50 does'nt have an external mic jack to solve this issue.  That's why I sold mine and got my Canon SX60.  It has an external mic jack that I use to connect an external mic to (among other upgrades)  You can attach an external mic onto the hotshoe plate on the SX60.   There maybe a workaround for an external mic for your SX50, but you'll have to ask around here on site, or goggle it. BTW...this is a Canon Site for all Canon Cameras and gear.  But does'nt have a catogory just for the SX50.  But you're in the right place, powershot posts.
