Test Design Engineer opening in New Hampshire

Hi all,
I have a 12 month + opening in New Hampshire for a Test Design Engineer.  I'm looking for someone with TestStand and LabWindows experience, with LabView experience considered a plus.  This position DOES require a clearance.  If you are interested, please contact me at [email protected]  Thanks!
Nick

Indumathi, you will not have success in your job search if you cannot read and understand the job posting. Sending your CV to every posting on the forum will not get you a job in this field if you don't pay attention to the details.
In this particular job post it is stated that you must have a US Government Security Clearance to even be considered, not be eligible for one, actually have one. Unless you are a U.S. Citizen it is Highly unlikely that you have one, and even if a U.S. citizen it is unlikely to have a security clearance.
If you want to be considered for a job, PAY Attention to the requirements, don't just send it to every link you see.

  • Is there a way I can click on a link designed to open in a new window/tab and have it replace the current tab instead?

    For example, if I go to [http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20435580 an abstract on PubMed] and click on either of the full text icons, Firefox will open a new tab. I want the full text to replace the tab with the abstract, instead.
    The best thing I can figure out now is to Ctrl-click the icons so they open in the background, then use Ctrl+W to close the current window.

    Hi,
    In your Firefox -> Preferences/Options -> Tabs, you can select the check box "When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately". You would still need to go back and close the original tab, but this would help you with part of the issue.
    Thanks,
    Michelle

  • How can I change my settings so that when I open a new tab, it opens a designated home page instead of a blank 'Untitled' page?

    I want to be able to set my Firefox tabs so that when I open a new tab, it displays my home page. Right now, when I open a new tab, I get a blank page that's just 'Untitled'.

    You can look at one of these extensions:
    * NewTabURL : https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/newtaburl/
    * New Tab Homepage : https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/new-tab-homepage/

  • Links opening in new window, not mainframe even though code is set...

    Hi All,
    Wondering if anyone can help!
    I'm making a website in Dreamweaver CS3 and I have 3 frames. One on the left named 'links', one at the top called 'Scrollingbar' and then the main content window called "contentframe".
    I have created images as links in the left hand frame and wanted them to load in "contentframe" when clicked. I have done this on a website before but for some reason, it isn't working this time. The code all looks fine to me but when clicked, instead of loading in "contentframe", it opens a new page/tab in a browser with the page I want loaded in "contentframe". Here's my code for my links:
    <body>
    <div align="center"><a href="home-main.html" target="contentframe"><img src="Images/Links/Home.jpg" alt="Home" width="170" height="85" border="0" /></a></div>
    <p align="center"><a href="events.html" target="contentframe"><img src="Images/Links/Events.jpg" alt="Events" width="170" height="85" border="0" /></a></p>
    </body>
    </html>
    Any ideas?
    Thanks for any help!
    PS I have uploaded the page to www.ttotmcomedy.com/home.html to test it when live.

    Thanks for your reply. I understand what you are saying but I can only design a basic site in HTML, that's as far as my knowledge goes and the frames layout has worked well for me in the past (see http://www.ttotmcomedy.com/KKBB%20website/). It keeps the links always on the left meaning it's easy to navigate and I can keep event information in the top bar at all times, wherever the user is on the website. I also achieved top 10 ranking in Google. I unfortunately don't have the time to dedicate to learning to code in a different language and neither can I afford to pay somebody to do it...
    The code for the whole frameset is:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Frameset//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-frameset.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
    <title>Untitled Document</title>
    </head>
    <frameset rows="112,310" cols="*" framespacing="2" frameborder="yes" border="2" bordercolor="#999999">
      <frame src="scrollbar.html" id="Scrollbar" />
      <frameset rows="*" cols="190,812" framespacing="2" frameborder="yes" border="2" bordercolor="#999999">
        <frame src="links.html" id="Links" />
        <frame src="home-main.html" id="contentframe" />
      </frameset>
    </frameset>
    <noframes><body>
    </body>
    </noframes></html>
    Thanks again for looking, I do appreciate it.

  • JSP Dynpage iView 'Open in New Window' losses session data

    Hi All,
    I have a JSP Dynpage that displays some position holder information based on a position id passed in by the URL query string.  The problem that I am trying to solve is to allow the user to open the iView in its own window by using the 'Open in New Window' option from the button in the upper right of the iView title bar.  When this happens the URL query string is no longer available so the iView has problems.  My solution is to store the position id in the session object then read from that session object when the query string is not available - when opening in a new window.
    But what is happening is that the position id saved in the session object is no longer there when the new window opens.  I have looked else where on this site but all posts seem to deal with data transfer from JSP Dynpage to the JSP page.  This issue is dealing with a page getting re-opened in a new page (browswer).
    I can't seem to get the session object to work between JSP Dynpages at all, I would think that the data put into the session would stay there untill either cleared or the session ends.  Am I missing some configuration settings?  I have included some of the key code below.
    // GET THE POSITION ID FROM THE URL QUERY STRING
    String PosId;
    PosId = request.getParameter("CKey");
    if (PosId == null)
         myBean.testing = (String) request.getComponentSession().getValue("PosId");
    else
         PosId = PosId.substring(6, 14);
         request.getComponentSession().putValue("PosId", PosId);
         myBean.testing = "POSID:" + PosId;
    Thanks for all ideas and help.

  • Opening a new view in a new window on click of a table row entry.

    Hi Guys,
    How to open a new View of a same application in a new window (just like a pop up) on a click of a Table Row entry?
    I am using NWDS 7.0 version. So please suggest acccorrdingly.

    Hi Nikesh,
    first of all you will have to declare use of onLeadSelect event handler for your table (note that it will only be triggered when a lead selection occurs not a multiselection).
    Also, you can build at design time a View and a Window (for example, PopupWin) in your WebDynpro Component, and embed the view into the window.
    In your code for onLeadSelect function, you can use something like this to pop up the window.
    public void onActionRowSelection(com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.api.IWDCustomEvent wdEvent )
        //@@begin onActionSeleccionTabla(ServerEvent)
        IWDWindowManager windowManager = wdComponentAPI.getWindowManager();
        IWDWindowInfo windowInfo = wdComponentAPI.getComponentInfo().findInWindows("PopupWin");
        IWDWindow window = windowManager.createModalWindow(windowInfo);
        window.setWindowPosition(WDWindowPos.CENTER);
        window.setWindowSize(new WDCssSize(450, WDWindowUnitOfLength.PX) , WDCssSize.UNDEFINED);
        // Store handle ti window in context attribute to able to close it later
        wdContext.currentContextElement().setPopup(window);
        window.show();
        //@@end
    Hope it helps,
    David

  • Create Hyperlinks that open in new tab or window?!

    Hello,
    Ok, so, this has been asked other times for many versions of InDesign and most common response is to do it in Acrobat Pro. WHY?!!!! I couldn't even easily figure out how to do it there and frankly, don't want to. That seems so backwards and tedious to have to do...seriously. How is this not an option in InDesign Hyperlink edit creation/options yet?!! It is SO simple. Please tell me I'm missing something... I love Adobe products and especially CC products that are getting better and more time saving...but this is so dumb, I'm sorry. I'm no smarty software engineer but I know what user friendly is and how things should work for everyone...and it seems like an easy thing to make possible. Many people create PDF's in InDesign for viewing/downloading in a browser and this needs to be an option with-in InDesign CC. Simple as that. When the PDF is opened in Acrobat the links do open in new tab/window but NOT when it is viewed in a browser. This is why I should or maybe shouldn't work for Adobe, I wouldn't let little things like this, that actually makes a big difference in user experience, go unnoticed and unchanged over so many new releases and updates...or ever be taken away. I guess I'll put in an InDesign CC features request...
    Thanks to anyone who agrees and relays...or lets me know I'm missing something.
    Andy

    I would also like a solution to this problem. It seems to have been around for quite a while.

  • DW CS4 Help with jump menu opening a new window.

    First, I can't believe that Adobe left out an easy to use behavior to do this.
    I have some jump menus, and I would like the selection to open up a new window and have the content appear there.  I saw a couple of old topics here that offered some suggestions, but they didn't work for me.  I could get it to open a new window, but the content was not there.  I saw where you need to add a "GO" button, and add a "Open New Window"behavior to it.  That is what opened the new window with new content.  I do not have the "GO" buttons on the jump menus in this code, but did try it and it didn't work.   If anyone can help and tell me how to do it, and where to place the code, I would greatly appreciate it.
    I know this is long, but here is my code for the page.

    I'm confused by your post and code.  Adobe has a function to do this.  In the Insert Toolbar under the Tab "Forms" there is an option to create a jump menu.  The only options that menu gives you is the same window or a frame on the page (a very outdated action looking at it now).  But with basic knowledge of links you insert the menu and you will get code like:
      <select name="jumpMenu" id="jumpMenu" onChange="MM_jumpMenu('parent',this,0)">
    The "parent" denotes that this will open in the same window.  If you change that to "blank" then it will open in a new window.  A "Go" button is optional and also available in the DW GUI when you set up a jump menu.

    I am able to open Firefox. My add-ons worked (ABP, Flashblock, ABP Element Hiding Helper, IETAB2, Downthemall, Greasemonkey, 4chan extension) had no problems. Firefox is set and has been set for the last two years as my default web browser.
    However Since approximately Firefox 10 or so, maybe before that, If I have a Firefox session open, and any other application attempts to open a session in a new window, I get the Firefox is already running, but not responding error."
    I attempted to follow troubleshooting advice already posted (look for parent.lock files left behind [none present], multiple sessionstore.js files [none present], create a new user profile, attempted to clear out the "read-only" permission in windows 7, however as soon as it is cleared, the read only permission returns.)
    As a last resort, I deleted the Firefox folder, the %APPDATA%/Mozilla directory in its entirety, then utilized CCleaner to remove any and all references to Firefox in the windows registry, then did a full re-install, no extensions installed right now.
    I checked preferences and have the option "open new windows in a new tab" checked off. The problem persists regardless if this option is checked on or off. This problem persists in or out of safe mode, even with the brand new install.
    Test Cases:
    All cases:
    Firefox is selected as the default browser for windows 7
    Case 1: Open a firefox session. Utilize any other program that attempts to open a link to their website in a new browser window or new browser session. Experience "Firefox is already running" error
    Case 2: Open a firefox session. Right click on Firefox on the task bar. Select "open in new window". Experience "Firefox is already running" error
    Case 3: Open a firefox session. Select the Firefox Menu > New tab > New Window. A new window will actually open.
    This is the only method of opening a new window in the same browser session or profile that actually works on my system. Attempting to open a browser session from the task bar "open new window dialog" or opening a new window while a current window/session is running will not open firefox in a new window or a new tab in the current session. The "Firefox is already running, but is not responding" error will occur every time.

    Cor-el's suggestion resolved my problem. Apparently the MOZ_NO_REMOTE variable was set to 1 on my system variables. I never made it, and really have no idea how it got there, but deleting this variable and restarting firefox has resolved the issue. Thanks Cor-el!
    Marking case: Solved
    Solution: Verify the MOZ_NO_REMOTE variable is NOT set to 1. This can be achieved by simply deleting this variable.
