Test Driving OpenOffice for the Cloud

Does anyone know how to test drive OpenOffice for the Cloud. It tried going to http://www.oracle.com/office and there is nothing directing me to the demo site. This is almost as bad as Microsoft Office 365 beta where you can sign up, but they aren't accepting any new beta customers. At least Microsoft Office online with 2010 is working and I can test out Microsoft's offering along with Google Docs. It's hard to make decisions from hype from Oracle when the office is trying to make a decision on how to approach the cloud.

You can not setup a new iCloud account using a PC. You must use an Apple device (Mac or iPhone/iPad) to create the account, then sign into it using your PC.

it obviously doesn't, but then again some people or organisation only care about price when it comes to purchasing their laptops, and it is hard to justify making a special model for a selected few.
Sure everything can be done if there is a market for it, but Lenovo won't know how large the market is before hand, as such they are hedging a bet by not moving with the market (which Lenovo have done on many occasions). I guess the finanical return is not the worth the risk for Lenovo to keep the 4:3 or 16:10 screens.
But this debate has been going back and forth for a long time, so no point bringing it up again and again.

Itunes for the cloud

My devices are pretty full already, if I put my ENTIRE music collection on a 16 gig phone, I wont have much room left over for apps and photos. If I use itunes for the cloud...will my music be stored in the cloud, and then accessed with my ios devices? or is the music actually taking up storage space on my device as well?

If you mean iTunes Match, you can access your iTunes music library from iCloud without storing all of it on your device. You can download music and store it on your device so it is available to play when you don't have a data connection to the internet. Also, as you play songs, they will be downloaded in the background. Because of this, you may want to occasionally delete all your music to conserve space on your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipe across All Music, then tap Delete).

In preparation for the cloud, is there any advice to set the children's devices up with individual account to prevent mail, contact and calendar conflicts? I am not so much worried about the music and app sharing as I am the former, but if individual accounts were to be setup, are we still able to share music and apps? Thank you in advance if you may have a resolution that will suite my possible conflict.

I just signed in for the cloud but I was mistaken and gave the wrong email is it posible to change the email ?

Follow the steps below. After several chat conversations with Adobe, this is what I think has fixed the issue. In the end, it makes sense, specifically the permissions settings. Mine were set to Read-Only (Step 4) which would mean that when I log in, it is not able to save my information to the neccessary files. My CC Account was logging off every day before. After following these steps, it has been 24 hours and I am still logged in. Its worth a try if you are having this issue. Note: this is for windows only.
Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Adobe.
Locate SLStore folder.
Right-click the SLStore folder, and choose Properties.
In the Attributes section, deselect the Read-Only option.
Click Apply, and then click OK to close the Confirm Attribute Changes dialog box
Again, right-click the SLStore folder and choose Properties.
Click the Security tab and set permissions.
•Administrators: Full Control
•Power Users: Everything but Full Control and Special
•System: Full Control
•Users: Read and Special
Click Advanced, and, if asked, accept the User Account Control (UAC) elevation prompt.
Click the Owner tab, select Administrators, and click Edit.
Select Replace Owner on Subcontainers and Objects. Click Apply, and then click OK.
Click the Permissions tab and click Change Permissions.
Select “Replace all Child Object Permissions with Inheritable Permissions from this Object”. Click OK, and then click Yes.
Click OK, and then click OK again in the Windows Security dialog box. Click OK to close the Advanced Security Settings dialog box.
Then navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe.
Locate SLCache folder and delete the complete contents of the SLCache folder.
Hit Window+R to bring up the Run Window, type %appdata% and press enter.
Click on Appdata in the address bar.
Then navigate to Local\Adobe\OOBE folder and delete the OPM.DB file.

Serial Number for the Cloud???

I have bought the creative cloud today but when I want to start a program there is a warning : the test version is over and I have to buy the cloud or enter a serial number . but I bought it already and I have of course no serial number !!! so what should I do??? I need the things on monday

open your adobe application manager or creative cloud desktop application.
log into the app if not already logged in.
see if there's an update for your photoshop. if there is, update it and retry starting photoshop.

I checked your account; it looks like there may have been a hangup with the order processing. Please Contact Customer Care so that an agent can help you get that straightened out. I suspect that may be why you're unable to open Acrobat.

Download for the cloud but I don't have a cloud

I just downloaded Itunes 11 and was messing with it when I noticed the cloud buttons in the corner. I click one, to investigate and it downloaded a song. It was a song that I never owned before. The $29.99/month special offer for the first year is for customers with a registered version of CS3-CS6 (individual product or Suite). The offer does not apply to education or volume license versions.

I pay for the cloud, but the products tell me that I only have a 30 day version

I have been using the cloud for about 2 months now, but yesterday had some hardware issues and had to re-install a few things. Now when I open Acrobat or Photoshop I am told I only have a 30 day version. How can I get it back to the way it was?

Please launch any product and you will get a pop up message showing the trial period.
click on the button 'License this software' on the same pop up window and login with your Adobe Id and password.
It will activate the subscription in your computer.
