Test Framework in 8.51 not opening IE correctly

When the PTF attempts to open IE in order to start recording a test script two windows open.... one is IE (iexplore.exe) the other is regular windows explorer.exe. Neither windows work with the PTF and no clicks get recorded.
Anyone come across this before? I've rebuilt my whole workstation from o/s up in an attempt to fix it but without success. Running client on XP sp3 with IE7.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.

SCCM Client Report Tool not opening up correct URL to Report Server

I recently install the SCCM 2012 right click tools and within the downloaded zip file there is SCCMClientToolsSetup2012.exe which adds a whole bunch of additional features when right clicking devices in the console. The problem is no matter what I put as

I have changed the report server virtual directory to match ReportServer from the default, but it still does not open the reports... Any idea what could I might be wrong?
I have the console and right click tools installed on my Windows 7 workstation. the Server is Windows 2012 Datacenter with SQL 2012 and SCCM 2012 R2.

Yes, it appears to work directly from the console and via web... But it does show Report.aspx vs. ReportViewer.aspx.

CD/ Blu-ray Drive Will Not Open/ Function Correctly

My CD/ Blu-ray drive will not open. I can force it open with a paper clip and put in a disk that way but it does not activate and read the disk. The drive also does not appear as a file selection under my hard disk drives section of my computer.
With this I am assuming my optical drive is broken so I tried looking for a replacement. I searched for the name of the optical drive in the HP PartSurfer and it says it is called SPS-DRV DVD SATA BD Combo 12.7. Just to be sure, is that the correct part I am looking for? If so, and say I were to go ahead and order this part, how do I go about removing the optical drive in my labtop and replacing it with the new drive?

Deleted addressbook.framework, now itunes will not open, suggestions?

after deleting address book for the space, i looked for related items, and found the addressbook.framework, as well as an address book widget. i deleted both, but the addressbook.framework needed a forced deletion because it was in use, although i thought it was through some interaction with the widget. it turns out that it was neccesary for itunes to open, which it will not do now. what should i do?

Testing model using UI does not open in the UI

I created a UI for a model and when trying to test it (using Test Model > Start a new configuration > Model UI (select the UI) > Finish), it does not bring up the UI, instead it shows the Configuration Summary page. I have checked the UI and it has the page flow defined properly. What is the reason for this and what is the solution. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Pankaj, the page flow mentioned in the UI was wrong. I modified it to the correct one. But, now when I test, an error page is displayed. This model has only one UI page.

I have this issue with another model also for which there are 4 UI pages, while testing the first 3 display properly while the above error occurs on the last page.
Based on the above, it seems the error is thrown on the last page of the UI. Is there anything else I can check to resolve this issue? Thanks.

Opening file in Illustrator prompts "Text Import Options" and does not open file correctly.

I've been dealing with this issue for quite a while and I am thoroughly stumped. A co-worker has emailed me .ai files in the past without issue. In the last couple months, however, her attached .ai files no longer open properly.
This is the first screen I get when trying to open the files:
Regardless of what checkboxes are marked or options changed, the outcome is always the same:
If you can't read that, the error code is as follows:

Putting this line of code into Google returns exactly "0" finds.
Nobody else in the company seems to have an issue with opening the same file when this co-worker forwards it to them. I did notice, however, that the file is 141 kb within her email, but when I download it, it shrinks to 344 bytes. I don't know if for whatever reason my computer is just not downloading all of the information or what might be going on.
To reiterate, these are the facts that I know:
1. She is on a mac and I am on a PC.
2. We are both using Illustrator CS6.
3. Other co-workers on PCs do not have this problem when she emails it to them.
4. The file shrinks from 141 kb to 344 bytes when I try to download it from her email.
Edit: I just had her send the email to my personal gmail account and the file opened perfectly, so this appears to be an issue with office365.com which is where my business email is located. Everyone else here uses the same email service, however, so this is still an isolated issue with my account.
Any help or ideas would be very much appreciated.

Safari does not open pages correctly.

This problem occurs only on one account on my mac. When I try to open a webpage created in iweb the menu bar which contains all links was disappeared from that page. Instead there was a black dot. There is also a google search box on that page. Even that search box doesn't work. I tried to open the page from other user accounts but it opened correctly.
Firstly I thought the problem is with iweb sites. But later I discovered that it comes on other pages as well. A few days back all text on digg.com was looking all mixed up.

I don't usually use the AutoFill function, but as I understand it, AutoFill does not automatically populate the form fields when the page loads. You either need to start typing in a field, select Edit menu > AutoFill form (or use the Command-Shift-A keyboard shortcut), or add an AutoFill button to your toolbar (View menu > Customize Toolbar and drag it there) then click it after the page loads.

Adobe Acrobat X not opening PDF correctly

We created a 50+ page document in InDesign CS5 on a mac then exported that to a pdf file using the export feature in InDesign. 100s of people have downloaded this document and able to open and print with no problems. However we have a person that is persistent that the document is not working for them and we are unsure what is going on. She is downloading it from our website, she uses Adobe Acrobat X and says it is a recent version. When she opens it she says as she scrolls to the 4th page she gets a popup stating there is an error and it may not display properly. Some of the pages are showing up incomplete, and some of the pages are missing content we have on the right column. What would be causing these issues? And why has no one else had these problems?

Why do prepopulated forms not open up correctly to be read and printed using Adobe Reader?

We are creating forms that we send to clients. Generally the clients are using Adobe Reader to open the pdf's. Why can they not see prepopulated data on the forms. They need to click the area where the data is to see it. When they attempt to print it, it comes out blank.

Quick Menu not opening up correctly

Whenever I try to open up Quick menu the program will load and show up in the system tray but overlay with all the buttons will not come up at all. It had worked fine before restarting the computer but now nothing.
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall it from the website with the latest version and also with the disc.
I am using a Pixma MX922 and the computer is running Windows Vista 64-bit SP2.

BuddyAPI baGetFilename not opening in correct location in OSX Mavericks

I have an application built in Director 11.5 using BuddyAPI xtra file selection dialogue baGetFilename. In OSX Mavericks (10.9.4) the dialogue doesn't seem to open in the specified path any more. It seems to default to the path last accessed in the previous file open dialogue. This has worked reliably in previous versions so I assume something has been changed in 10.9 that is confusing it.
Has anyone else come across this issue? Can anyone suggest a workaround or alternative for the file selection dialogue. I basically need to specify the path for the file selection dialogue so I can open the appropriate folder for the type of file rather than relying on the end user to successfully navigate to the location every time. I also need to filter the dialogue to particular file types. Is there an alternative to the BuddyAPI xtra that is compatible with Director 11.5 and Mavericks? Is there a workaround to get BuddyAPI to work correctly?

External editor (PS CS3) not opening to correct size

I up-rezzed a 70mb photo in Genuine Fractals to about 120 mb, saved it, but now when I send it to the external editor, PS CS3, it keeps opening it to 70mb despite being sure I have the correct 120mb version selected. Any suggestions?

it was imported as a cr2, however the version i'm trying to open is a master. the only two options for file format are psd and tiff, and i'm opening to a tiff, but i don't see what difference that would make.
HOWEVER i just figured it out... i had entered 360 dpi, the resolution that the high rez file is set at, which is also the native resolution my printer (and epson 3800) uses. I cancelled that and left it blank and now it opens at the correct file size. I have no idea why it would do that.

Firefox does not open links from third party applications correctly

I have problem with my Firefox Developer Edition. The browser does not open links correctly. If I click on some link e.g. in Thunderbird Firefox open only blank (default) window. No target of given link. Has anyone an idea how to solve this issue?

Have a look and see if SPDY is enabled. Enter about:config in the address window and spdy in the search window. If "network.http.spdy.enabled" is true, double click on the entry to disable it.

I have a standard Ant build script for signing a jar file. I import it into my master Ant build files with

and then in my master Ant script I setup the name of the jar file e.g.
<property name="jar-file" value="${fun}/FunApplet.jar"/>
and then invoke a target
<target name="sign-jar" depends="jar, sign">
</target>
Since this target (sign-jar) depends on target 'jar' and target 'sign' it executes the 'jar' target and then the 'sign' target that is contained in Sign.xml.

ORARRP Web Page test did not open printer dialog

Set-Up
I have downloaded ORARRP onto the client (in WINNT).
I modified the INI to use "choose_printer=no".
I have updated the httpd.conf under the Apache directory path on our linux server and restarted the listener as per the orarrp instructions.
Client Test
If I use IE to open test.rrpa on the client (as file:///c:/test.rrpa), the file is printed.
Server Test/Problem
I renamed a pdf file on the server to test.rrpa and created an html page with a link to it. When I goto this test html page in IE on my client and click the link, it opens the rrpa file in Acrobat. But nothing prints.
Note: The default printer on my client is a local printer (on LPT1).
What have I missed?
Any help will be greatly apprciated. Thanks.
