Test mode error

Hi, I dropped my phone today (6230), and it worked fine for about an hour, then it told me I needed to enter a code to validate it. I turned it off, worked fine when I turned it back on. Then it did the same, I turned it off and on again, and since then it is displaying 'test mode'. I have got a new phone but would like to get all of the messages off my old phone so need it to work! If anyone can advise on either how to fix it, or how to retrieve the messages otherwise, it would be much appreciated!

I believe "TEST MODE" and "FIELD TEST" are only for the field engineers or somebody from NOKIA that tests the devices somewhere out there...
You need to call the customer service and tell them that your phone suddenly displayed this message.
They will replace your device, and i think even if its out of warranty, they will replace it...

Well.. those don't look like errors to me... depending on what copy profile you use SAP chooses what tables to copy and what tables to delete... so basically is just letting you know which tables are not to be copied across...

Performance issue: Calling a BAPI PO create in test mode to get error msgs

Hi,
We have an ALV report in which we display purchase orders that got created in SAP, but either got blocked due to not meeting PO Release strategy tolerances or have failed output messages. we are displaying the failed messages even.
We are looping the internal table of eban(PR) & calling bapi po create in test mode to get failed messages.
Now we are facing performance issue in production. What can be the alternate efficient way to get the error msgs with efficiency

so you need to reduce the number of PO-simulations.
- Likely you checked already, that all EBAN-entries should already be converted into POs. If there would be a large number of "new" EBAN-entries, they don't need to be simulated.
- If it's a temporary problem: give aid to correct the problems (maintain prices or whatever the error-reasons are) Then the amount of not-converted purchase requisitions (PR) should drop, too
- If it's likely, that your volume of open PR will stay high: create a Z-Table with key of EBAN and a counter, simulate (once a day) PO conversions and store the results in the Z-table. In your report you can use the results... if they are "new enough". From time to time new simulations should be done, missing master data might be available.
Maybe users should be allowed to start this 2nd report manually (in background), too -> then they can update the messages after some data corrections themself, without waiting for the result (just check later in online report and do something different in between).
And you might need to explain, PO simulation takes as long as PO creation... there is no easy or fast way around this.

Model 2310 error message"test mode"

I bought a 2310 model in march2007 today I tried to switch it on in the morning and the message on the screen is "test mode" and later "local mode" what can be the problem?

I'm sorry but this is the most likely explanation for your problem, liquid ingress or water damage is the most common cause of local mode. The corrosion build up from liquid changes the phone's ability to "read" the battery correctly hence "local mode" comes up!

Call transaction in test mode

Dear Folks!
Is there a way to do something like a call transaction in test mode?
What I need is to check the data of the file and return a log of the errors that this file would give if executed in call transaction, before executing it for real in the production environment.

Yes, it is possible to run transaction in test mode using eCATT.
Here is the procedure for transaction ME21N (please note that this transaction has a "CHECK" button to validate the input data):
- First I created an eCATT testscript and chose pattern TCD (Record) with transaction ME21N.
- Within the recorded transaction I only entered the vendor and then pushed the CHECK button (-> popup appears with all messages)
- Next I cancelled the transaction without saving the purchase order and saved the recording within the testscript
- Then I surrounded the TCD recording with a MESSAGE...ENDMESSAGE block:
MESSAGE ( MSG_1 ).
TCD ( ME21N , ME21N_1 ).
ENDMESSAGE ( E_MSG_1 ).
Now if you run the testscript you will see all the messages collected thus far within the recorded transaction in the eCATT log.
I admit that this approach will not work for all transactions. However, it may be useful for testing many transactions.

JDeveloper IDE: Developer Mode Error

Hi All,
I am facing an issue after launcing JDEV through /jdevbin/NT/1223_db2dbg_17007206 (JDeveloper IDE for Release 12.2.3 Dev Build 2).
I am getting developer mode error after launcing my application. For the error to perish, we need to disable the same by :
Go Project Properties -> Oracle Applications -> Run Options and remove OADeveloperMode from the selected list.
However the OADeveloperMode option is not visible at project properties. Any idea on how to disable the option through any other means or any workarounds.
The profile “FND:Developer Mode” is already set to No in site level in environment. I am still seeing the Developer Mode error in jdev.

(This developer mode error is thrown instead of being registered due to the lack of the page context object.) The OA passivation framework coding standard has been violated. Web bean properties cannot be modified in the controller processFormData or processFormRequest method. Web bean properties should be modified in the processRequest method only. This error part of the file (oracle.apps.ozf.oa.claim.webui.ClaimUpdateCO) present in the error message is an already existing code.
Now the problem with solving this issues may end up solving many other issues. I am also not sure that my solving one part will fix it or not.
If you can please help me with suppressing the option how we used to do that earlier via jdev, then I can move ahead with my changes and test them.

for ur requirement, put the option in test mode in selection screen, in this mode flat file data check with master data (flat file validations

Building to Devices in Debug mode, Error.

Hi All,
We are having an issue building my app in Debug mode to my physical devices, the error is posted below.
The device is dev unlocked and was working, but stopped with no warning. We can still work on the emulator and build in release mode to the device.
We have tried:
Reassociating it with the Windows Phone store.
Cleaning the solution.
Deleting obj and bin folders.
Rebuilding solutions
Running VS in admin mode.
Restarting the system.
Does anyone please have advice on how to resolve this issue as it is hurting our beta testing.

OAF: Error:Developer Mode Error: Cannot Display Page

Hi Everyone,
When i click on button it shows me the below error:
"You cannot complete this task due to a loss of page data.
Cause:
This error has been encountered because the SESSION_TIMEOUT_RECOVERY_ENABLED profile option value was set to "No" when the page was run with OAPassivationTestMode value, "1."
Action:
Use a combination of responsibility and application that has the SESSION_TIMEOUT_RECOVERY_ENABLED profile option value set to "Yes." For the application level value, the application associated with the page definition will be used for this profile, not the application associated with the responsibility. Or set OAPassivationTestMode value to "2" to bypass this error. Setting the passivation test mode to "2" has the effect of setting the SESSION_TIMEOUT_RECOVERY_ENABLED value to Yes and the application module retention level value to MANAGE_STATE."

Running a file in test mode

hi iam doing a bdc recording in which there is an option to runthe file in test mode i.e if that button is checked then only will the validations will be done and the program should stop executingand save the succesful records at the end of it and should not post even if it doesnot contain ny error.and for the validations display a log file containing the no. of records and details.
some of the validations are like komg-hland and country of origin of article komg-herkl has to be checked from T005 TABLE.
The rate unit(currency or percentage)konp-konwa has to be checked from TCURC TABLE.THE CONDITION UNIT KONP-KMEIN HAS TO BE CHECKED FROM T006 TABLE.

Erroneous GP successfully run in test mode.

Hi,
We have some GP's which are in erroneous status. The same erroneous GP's gets processed when re-run in the test mode.
1)Could you please let us know the steps to re-run GP's in the test mode
2)Is this something related to framework

Hello Saket,
If a GP process instance goes into error, it is not poissible to rerun it. You must initiate the process again. Please see the following Knowledge Based Article on this:
