I'm already an OCP in 8i, 9i and 10g. I wanna take 1Z0-233 exam.
I cam to know that one who is certified in 9i or 10g can directly write 1Z0-233 exam without attending any Oracle Official training courses for the same.
Please clarify my doubt, as I'm gonna appear 1Z0-233 exam shortly.

I have Oracle education book which is issued after attending 5 day training course. That is good enough
But Still want to have Books that we get for Database track certifications
I think, since this certification is new, it might not be published yet

1Z0-238 and 11i Install, patch and maintain.....

hi,
I took the "11i Install, patch and maintain Oracle Applicaiton" course from oracle university about couple of years ago and now we are already on release 12.0.6. I want to attempt 1Z0-238 which is actually a R12 certificaftion exam. Question is; Can i attemp 1Z0-238 a release 12 exam with a course taken from previous release.
I dont want to be in situation where oracle will say either take the R12 course or re attemp an 11i exam..... :(

R12 - Install, Patch and Maintain. Is It Necessary?

We are planning to go to R12 soon...is this class necessary given the fact that I went to the same class for R11? Are there enough changes to warrant taking this course? Everyone, let me know your thoughts...

I would say save the money and go for another course instead. There are no much changes when it comes to the installation and applying patches between 11i and R12, and you could refer to these links for the topics which are covered by the two courses.

The first time an iPhone is connected to iTunes that is used to sync with another iPhone or iOS device, you are prompted to transfer the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device or to set up the iPhone as a new iPhone.

For the missing App Store issue, if you swiped fro screen to screen to look in other folders and didn't find it, and did a spotlight search to see which folder it is in and had no success with that, Check Settings>General>Restrictions and make sure that you didn't disable it.
You can also reset the home screen layout and the icon will reappear - but the home screen will return to the way that it looked when you first activated your iPad.

Should I re-install photoshop and adobe apps

Hello,
I have Mac pro, and i previously installed leopard on a 2nd hard drive. I re-installed my FCS Pro on it. I was wondering do I need to re install photoshop and all my adobe software on my new drive with leopard? I was able to run my previous version of photoshop. i haven't fully tested it though. will there be problems in the long run. or??

Just because you're doing something doesn't mean Adobe supports it. None of the Leopard related fixes they have released are applicable to anything prior to CS3.
To quote the source:
"While older Adobe applications may install and run on Mac OS X Leopard, they were designed, tested, and released to the public several years before this new operating system became available. You may, therefore, experience a variety of installation, stability, and reliability issues for which there is no resolution. Older versions of our creative software will not be updated to support Mac OS X."

How can I do to install Patch and RDBMS using SILENT mode in a Pentium 4 ?

I was installing the Oracle 8.1.6.0.0 in remote machines using a SILENT mode normally. But now, I`m having a problem with the Pentium 4. I need to apply a patch because of the bug number 1507768. And, after apply the patch, I don't get to install using the same response file (in a SILENT mode). How can I do to install the patch and the RDBMS using a SILENT mode in a Pentium 4?

A Plug_in normally come with an installer or install instructions. Check the documentation for the plug-in you trying to install. It sounds like you don't know what plug-ins you want to install. In that case you don't need to install any. At some point you may read about a plug-in and what it can do and feel you have a need for it. Then you will have a reason to install a plug-in that is not installed by default. There may also be a cost involved most worthwhile plug-ins are not free.
Adobe Optional Plug_ins downloads are Plugins Adobe want to remove from Photoshop and no longer install by default. Also at some point in time these will no longer install into the current Photoshop for Adobe will remove feature or interfaces the use. For example the CS5 optional plugins will install in Windows CS6 perpetual version 13.0.1.3 but not in Subscription version 13.1.2 or perpetual Mac version 13.0.6 fot its 64bit only and the Mac CS5 optional plug-in for Picture package is only a 32bit plug-in.
You will need to keep and maintain old versions of Photoshop if Adobe remove features you use in new versions of Photoshop.

I have read somewhere that you can only put free apps onto an unsupervised device and only paid apps can be put on a supervised device. Does this mean that an ipad cannot have both free and paid apps on it at once?

You can have both free and paid apps on Supervised iPads. Not sure where you read that you couldn't... We have both paid and free apps on all of our 1,000+ iPads in our school district.
