Test the gpu / other reasons for display anomalities?

Hello. I use an ATI Radeon HD 4870, and it seems to be not working correctly anymore (slow performance, front application windows behind the panels of one in the back etc.). Is there a way to test it (like Disk Utility is testing hard drives)? And might there be other reasons (on a Mac that has just been installed all from scratch on a blank disk)?

Focus on your hard drive and system. My recommend has always been:
Clone your system, use Alsoft Disk Warrior to repair, run off your clone and test performance first. Don't rely on Disk Utility's Apple First Aid repair process.
FRESH INSTALL? from scratch?
One item: ANYMORE so what changed? when and what?
Something else is happening.
Try unplugging everything but kb and mouse.
Run Apple Hardware Test
Did you install any hardware or drivers or applications?
Did you by chance also migrate from another Mac?
Totally clean install, huh?
Nothing stands out to me
10.6.4 has had some graphic glitches and one or two patches (CS5, CUDA).
(2009 uses 1066 DDR3 so no need to mention but might mention any other hardware in the .sig)

How does the field ABGRU-Reason for Rejection get populated in routines(VOFM)?
BELNR,KPOSN,etc...fields are populated through KOMK and KOMP structures, similar way what structure is used for ABGRU?
by the time the control from VA01 comes to routine the values of VBAK and VBAP are cleared, so these structures like KOMP and KOMK are used.

You need to add rejection reason field ABGRU as a new field to pricing field catalog (KOMG structure) through APPEND structure KOMPAZ. KOMG inherits new fields from KOMKAZ (for header level fields) or KOMPAZ (for item level fields) structures and it is not directly modified but through KOMKAZ and KOMPAZ structures
Since VBAP-ABGRU can vary from item to item, add it to item pricing communication structure KOMPAZ in SE11. Once KOMPAZ is added with new ABGRU field and activated it will automatically appear in pricing field catalog (KOMG)
Afterwards the ABGRU field will then start to appear in the field catalog where you can create condition table (V/03) including the ABGRU as a field. Once done the rest is assigning the condition table to access sequence which is in turn assigned to the relevant condition type that you want to price based on partner function (all under IMG -> SD -> Basic functions -> Pricing -> Pricing control)
In the pricing user exit userexit_pricing_prepare_tkomp in include MV45AFZZ, you will need a few lines of coding to fetch VBAP-ABGRU for the item and pass it to tkomp-abrug field. This will then be used by system to read the new condition table that you created.
tkomp-abgru= xvbap-abgru
So if you populate special pricing based on ABGRU (with possibly other conditions) in the condition table then that condition record will be read for the corresponding condition type.
You would of course need a developer to modify KOMPAZ structure and code the user exit for moving the rejection reason to tkomp
That is in short how you can achieve this

When you open multiple documents, what's the rhyme and reason for the order the tabs are arranged?

Hi, a student had a question and I honestly never thought about this: when you open multiple documents in Photoshop CS4, what's the rhyme and reason behind the order they're arranged in (left to right?). Sometimes they're in one order and sometimes they're in another, and it doesn't always correspond with the filenames or the order in which they were selected.

if we Inclue Address in Address Node, System reads address data directly from the data base tables.
Inserting addresses:
One can use the address node to insert an address into the form. This guarantees that the address is formatted according to the postal rules of the sender country.
1) To create an address node , call the context menu for that node in the tree structure that one wants to contain the text and choose create->text
2) Enter a name for the node and a description
3) Determine the address type on the general attributes tab
4) For organizational addresses one has to specify the address number, for any other one has to specify the person number and the address number
5) In the box additional addresses one can maintain other attributes to specify how to display the address
Addresses are printed using the ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM function module.
To enable the ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM function module to call existing versions of an address for print output, the application program has to transfer the address number for address type 1, or the address number and person number for address types 2 and 3, to the function module or to SAPscript/SAP Smart Forms.
If SAPscript/SAP Smart Forms are used for printing, the address number (or address number and person number) is to be specified here as a parameter. The ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM function module then controls internally which version of an address is printed:
In the standard system, printing of address versions is only supported for Japan. Besides the default version, the versions Kanji (K) or International (I) can also be printed.

How to configure the ST03N and ST06 for displaying the correct data?

Hello guys,
I have just finished a internal project installation following the installation guide.
Our R/3 System can run correctly. However, when I type st03n, it displays some strange data instead of the real server information. and also in st06, I cannot get the real OS information.
The OS collector said that saposcol is not running because of no process id found.
But in the OS level, I've checked the server and saposcol -s said that the saposcol is running correctly.
I searched some notes and modify the processor of the SAPOSCOl service, too. But nothing changes.
I think the ST06 issue is the root cause of the ST03N.
I just wonder that how I could configure the system to make the ST03N or the ST06 display the correct statistics?

I got the answer myself.
I didn't know there were some standard jobs that are required to scheduled for a live R/3 System.
In SM36, find the standard jobs and input 'bc' in sap components and select the jobs scheduling job and set it as periodly run jobs(hourly).
then release the schedule.
And note 16083 has all the information.

try to execute the following command from the shell prompt
tracert -d <Ip address for the internal server>
try to note down the IP address where the packets are not transferring to other hops
ask your network person to resolve the IP to pass the packet to next hop
if your tracert session has been ended with all resolved IPs
then try to telnet <IP address for the Internal server> 36<nr>
if not, then Firewall has been blocking you, or Portal not yet configured proper.

New to this feature, so I would like to know what people are using it for. Presumably the XML is exported from another application. I need to get some idea of which applications people are generally exporting from, and why. Brief examples of workflows would be appreciated.

All databases support today export to XML.
For InDesign the items have to be transformed in a special order.
Upon import InDesign can attach a XML element to a specific style or element in the document.
This helps to import a huge amount of informative content in formatted styles. Such methods are used for example for exhibition guides where information comes often very late, but the structure is foreknown or for special medicine the package will be produced automatically upon the content.
XML makes sense when the structure is given but the content may vary. Think about it with catalogues, receipts, phone and address books or similar. Less for literature.
Other methods to get the same result might be InDesign tagged text, which could also be exported from data bases.
Or if someone is exporting IDML it is a package of XML files bundled together, zip compressed with the extension IDML. Here you can research a little bit how XML works with InDesign.

Restriction of Selecting Reason for movement based on the movement type

HI,
Defined Reason for movements for the movement types and made the field as " mandatory" in the control reason for the movement type.
So, during the Goods movement transaction it becomes mandatory to enter the reason for movement code.
But during the Goods movement transaction, it is possible to enter any reason for movement for any movement type. It needs to restricted with subject to the movement type.
Example:
Defined the Reason for movements 0001 & 0002 for the movement type 561.
Defined the Reason for movements 0003 & 0004 for the movement type 563.
During MB1C, now it is possible to select 0003 or 0004 for 561 as well as , it is possible to select 0001 or 0002 for 563.
it needs to be controlled w.r.to the movement type.
that is, if the movement type 561 is entered, then system should only allow the reason for movement either 0003 or 0004.
Is it possible to control, the selection of "reason for movement" based on the movement type ?

Check the transaction OMBS.Here you can make the entry of reason for movement mandatory check:controls and in reasons for movements you can maintain the allowed reasons for movement for the perticulatr movement type.

I am working on a project at the Ruhr-University, where i have to determine the calculation speed of ActionScript, e.g. in calculating MD5 Hash values.
Is it possible to use the GPU for the calculation? It would be the best, when i can use the GPU and the CPU for the calculations.
I already know that ActionScript is running on the CPU und the GPU is used for video rendering.
Is there a chance to use specifically the GPU for the calculation?

The Sales order is created and the PR is generated and Based on PR, purchase order is created. The Inbound delivery and GR is done and the stocks is in Sales order Stock.
By Mistake User puts a Reason for Rejection for the Line item and system accepts it without showing any error message.
This needs to be corrected

This is std system behaviour to allow the Reason for rejection. But system issues warning message before you set the reason for rejection. Have tested the same & system triggered below message in sequence.
Message no. V1036
Message no. V1775
Message no. V1544
Message no. V1579, Then able to save the document with reason for rejection ( code:00)
in VA02,- when i was trying to remove the reason for rejection,system didnt allow to do so & issued below error message
Message no. V1597.
This is because,
Eg: MTO- scenario, flow is like
MTO - PR - PO - IBD- MIGO, then stock in inventory against SO.
In this stage, if customer cancels the Order, you cant cancel the delivery, you have only option to set the delivery / billing block. but still system shows this order in "Incomplete order list" To avoid this,
you set the reason for rejection & status will get updated as "Complete".
If you dont want to do so, you have to fine tune system or Dont give option to the user to view this tab or field.
