  • Error in compiling java source code in a package

    hi all...
    am having a problem in compiling a java source code:
    i have a class named 'Test' in the package 'packone'....
    i have another class named 'getTest' in the same package....
    in the class getTest i am taking a reference to Test class...
    on compiling i am getting the following error....
    cannot resolve symbol
    symbol : class Test
    The source code for the two classes are :
    package packone;
    public class Test{
    and
    package packone;
    public class getTest{
    public void me(){
         Test t = new Test();
    i have included the directory path in the classpath....
    still its not compiling .....
    please help
    thanks....

    Assume the current directory structure:
    C:\
    C:\packone...and that your classes are named Test & GetTest.
    My guess is that you're compiling within the directory C:\packone using the command "javac GetTest.java", which is wrong; You must use a path corresponding to the package-name.
    Move your command-line cursor to C:\ and type "javac packone\GetTest.java" and you'll be fine...

  • Source code has syntax error in SAP PI7.1 Mapping Test

    HI All,
    IN SAP P7.1  created simple two data types, message types and Message Mapping with only 2 fields. While testing the mapping in Message Mapping it is giving the error as
    Source text of object Message Mapping: MM_Source_to_Target | http://abc.com has syntax errors:
    Source code has syntax error:
    I am able to activate the Datatypes and Message Types but not able to activate the Messge mapping.
    Please if any body faced the same problem please give the solution.
    One more thing is I am able to test the Message Mapping available in BASIS 7.1 Software Component objects. It is executing successfully...
    but otherthan this SWC it not working success fully.....

    Hi David,
    please check the default trace. It may contain the entry:
    Error in compiling : java.io.IOException: Not enough space
    If that's the case, maybe there's too little space for the swap file/device.
    You should ensure that at least 2X (preferably 3X) of Heap (-Xmx) is configured as real swap
    Hope that helps.

  • Is there any differnce between the Numeric Limit Test source code from TestStand 3.0 to TestStand 3.1? How to get the source code for the Numric Limit Test for both the versions?

    I need to know the differnece between the Numeric Limit Test between the TestStand version 3.0 to 3.1. If there is any differnec in the source code how to find it out? If somebody has the code can you share it?
    Thanks,
    Jeyan

    Hi,
    I don't believe there are any differences between the two versions. But you can check the source code for the Numeric Limit Test in TestStand\Components\NI\StepTypes\CommonSubsteps. But the main part of the step is the Code Module and this bit the users supplies this.
    What has prompted this question?

  • Can you share the source code for Customer ToughDay stress test tool?

    Hello,
    I would like to try Customer ToughDay tool (http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/testing/tough-day.html) for load testing of our author instances of CQ5. While I am able to execute the application, the logging with log4j seems to be configured incorrectly.
    Can you share the source code for toughday-5.5.jar?  I think it can be a very good starting point for those of us who are new to CQ5 and need to load test it.
    Thank you!

  • I see the license agreement as HTML source code

    Hello,
    I downloaded a trial version of Adobe Acrobat 9.0,
    but after I had installed it and start it, it wants me to agree on the license agreement.
    but my problem is that I can't click on Agree nor Disagree because I see only HTML source code
    see the printscreen I added below.
    does anyone know what is wrong, or wat I have to install to 'use' these HTML pages whitin Adobe Acrobat?
    I also downloaded the software again and installed it again and it happens also with trial versions of photoshop,
    I have not tested other software so far.
    Thanks in advance

  • How to Upload Program Source Code

    Hello,
    i have a program which downloads the source code into text files.
    I need to create all these into another server.
    so i need a program to upload these programs.
    Any idea how to it? Thanks in advance.

    Report: ZKBPROGS             *
    Function   : Up/Download ABAP reports complete with texts            *
            - this program does not update TRDIR with the                *
              TRDIR entries that are in the program uploaded.  Instead,  *
              current users stats are used.          *
            - this program allows selection of reports from a list or    *
              a single report can be tuped in and uploaded               *
            - this program also updates TADIR so that a development class*
              is assigned to the program             *
            - this program checks to see if the program already has a    *
              TRDIR entry, and if it does, warns the user                *
            - this program will save/restore the program documenation too*

  • How to compile the source code?

    Hello,
    I have got the source code and want to custom my nosql db.
    how can I compile the source code?
    thank you!

    You will have to apply some workarounds to achieve your goal, but they are not too bad.
    One problem is that the sources for the Admin Console web application are missing from the distribution. You can build a kvstore.jar that lacks the web application but is functional in every other way. If you need to have the web application in your build, we can discuss that separately.
    You will need to download the hadoop core jar file from http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/hadoop/hadoop-core/0.20.2/hadoop-core-0.20.2.jar .
    Place it in the lib directory of the distribution.
    I've appended to this message a context-style diff to show the changes that are needed in build.xml. You can apply these changes by hand, or use a diff-applying program such as "patch". The diff is small -- only three lines are changed.
    With these changes in place, issue the command "ant jar", which should produce the file dist/lib/kvstore.jar. This jar file has dependencies such that it will not work correctly unless it resides in the same directory as the other jars in the distribution. Therefore you should move dist/lib/kvstore.jar to lib/kvstore.jar before you try to run with it.
    This is certainly harder than it needs to be. We'll consider making this easier to do in a future release.
    Let me know how it goes!

  • How to remove blank spaces in the source code of my page?

    I created a page with the following code for testing:
    <dsp:page>
    <dsp:importbean bean="/atg/commerce/catalog/ProductLookup"/>
         <dsp:droplet name="ProductLookup">
              <dsp:param name="id" value="xprod2046" />
              <dsp:param name="elementName" value="product" />
              <dsp:oparam name="output">
                   <dsp:valueof param="product.DisplayName"/>
              </dsp:oparam>
         </dsp:droplet>
    </dsp:page>
    It only shows the product name in the browser. But if I look at the source code of my page he created 61 lines in response to this code, where a line is the product name and the other 60 have nothing.
    I know how to remove these lines that the ATG creates no content because my project is full of these empty lines.
    Anyone ever had this problem and could help me?
    Thanks

    Hi ,
    Yup this is a problem ,
    you can use following ways :
    1- use jsp comments eg :
    <dsp:page>
    <dsp:importbean bean="/atg/commerce/catalog/ProductLookup"/><%--
         ----%><dsp:droplet name="ProductLookup"><%--
              ----%><dsp:param name="id" value="xprod2046" /><%--
              ----%><dsp:param name="elementName" value="product" /><%--
              ----%><dsp:oparam name="output"><%--
                   ----%><dsp:valueof param="product.DisplayName"/><%--
              ----%></dsp:oparam><%--
         ----%></dsp:droplet><%--
    ----%></dsp:page>
    2- End tags at next line :
    e g :
    * <dsp:page
    * ><dsp:droplet name=”xyz”
    * ><dsp:oparam name=”output”
    * >Name: <dsp:valueof param=”abc”
    * /></dsp:oparam
    * ></dsp:droplet
    * ></dsp:page>
    3- Always use TAB instead of using SPACEBAR whie writing source code.
    4 - From JSP 2.1 onwards we have a page directive trimwhitespaces ( see if that works , i was not able to ), google for it for more info
    5 - You can modify your build scripts to remove white spaces from jsps while building EAR.(complex though, as you may not want to trim all white space.)
    6 - modifying the deployment descriptor.
    <init-param>
    <param-name>trimSpaces</param-name>
    <param-value>true</param-value>
    </init-param>

  • Coldfusion - Source Code Deployment

    Hi All,
    I've been into development of an application, that makes use
    of Coldfusion and uses Oracle as the backend. My predominant
    expertise is in Oracle, although i have worked on Coldfusion, since
    joining this project. I had a few queries regarding the
    implementation of CFM files.
    The platform details are:- Coldfusion MX 6.1, Oracle 8i, IIS
    6.0
    The process, that i have followed is that :
    1) Verify if the default client store, and the database
    source name are all valid.
    2) Deploy the modified files in the root directory of the Web
    Server (In this case, IIS)
    3) If there are no other changes to other configurations,
    then restart the Coldfusion Application Server.
    4) An IIS reset, would be needed in the Web server.
    5) Logon to the configured, URL and verify the changes you
    deployed/ expected are reflected.
    This was the process i followed in my development. However on
    the TEST environment, the logic is quite fuzzy. I have noticed the
    source code content is duplicated in the Coldfusion's root
    directory (WWW) as well as in the Web server's root directory.
    However, changes made to the Web server are not reflected, when i
    have reset the IIS and have re - started, the Coldfusion Server.
    Am i missing something? Is there some means by which
    Coldfusion, reads the content in its own Web Server, before
    checking external, web servers. (I understand, that it may all be
    due to configuration issues. My question is, i want to know, if
    there is any log Coldfusion maintains to check, where its reading
    the source code from? i.e. If its reading from a Web Server like
    IIS or from its own in built Web server.)
    It would be helpful, if you all could throw some light on the
    same.
    Regards,
    J

    There is a little know gotcha in CFML code deployment that
    most of us
    ignore by just making sure all CFML source files are in one
    location.
    But there are TWO roots that ColdFusion will check for CFML
    files. The
    first one is in the JRUN server. This path can vary somewhat
    depending
    on exactly which flavor of CF is installed. On my Multi-home,
    Enterprise, Development machine it is here:
    C:\JRun4\servers\{cfInstanceName}\cfusion-ear\cfusion-war.
    Then if the
    CFML file is not there, ColdFusion will check the web server
    root directory.
    I can't imagine how something would be mixing these
    directories up. But
    if a CFML file ends up in both, there could definitely be
    confusion.
    Also be aware of the CF configuration options that tell
    ColdFusion to
    NOT check for updates to CFML files. This is done for
    performance
    reasons but could have the same effect as you are describing.

  • Database Source Code Synchronization with PVCS

    Hello All,
    I would really appreciate your ideas/suggestions on developing, implementing the following requirement.
    I am in the process of developing a mechanism to validate the database procedure source code in the application PVCS library, that matches the source code used for QA and PRD environments. The objective is to assure that production version of stored procedure code is the correct / matching version with PVCS, QA and PRD.
    Database: Oracle 9i
    Source Control System: PVCS
    Database Objects: Stored Procedures
    Other Questions:
    - Do you know any PVCS API's to read the files?
    Thanks, Madhavi

    Hello All,
    I would really appreciate your ideas/suggestions on
    developing, implementing the following requirement.
    I am in the process of developing a mechanism to
    validate the database procedure source code in the
    application PVCS library, that matches the source code
    used for QA and PRD environments. The objective is to
    assure that production version of stored procedure
    code is the correct / matching version with PVCS, QA
    and PRD.This is going to take a lot of work and I am not even sure that is is deterministic. And it is easily handled by the correct process control as well.
    The following process control steps allow this.
    - Developement ONLY delivers scripts for database changes. Thus table changes, data changes, new procs, old procs, what ever are delivered as scripts and are checked into version control.
    - QA does NOT use anything that is not in the version control system. No disks, memory sticks, emails, etc (and in particular QA does NOT use developement database servers for testing.)
    - QA are the ONLY ones allowed to install anything to production. This includes all the DBAs and it includes "emergency" fixes (which usually greatly diminsh if the above is followed and QA is actually testing stuff.)
    The last step can be enforced either by simply disallowing change access to production machines except for QA and non-developement (MUST be non-developement) admin.
    But if you insist, people have been interfacing programmitically with Oracle and PVCS for years. You can search the net for thousands of these. I suspect that you will find that Perl is used a lot in this (but that could be my own bias.)

  • JDev Source Code Versioning Support

    Does JDeveloper2.0 provide support for source code versioning?
    This would be useful at the project level. If there isn't built
    in support, are there any NT-based source code management
    applications that can be tied into JDev2.0? Thanks.

    HI,
    Can I use the Generic version control system with CVS on a unix
    system. When I tried, I was getting some odd problems. JDeveloper
    was hanging without responding.

  • How to download ABAP(report,module pool...etc) source code to client PC?

    hi guys,
    please advise how can i download/export ABAP(report,module pool...etc) source code to client PC?
    thanks.

    hi
    this report is to export to another server...
    PROGRAM ZDOWNLOAD_SAP
    LINE-SIZE 132
    LINE-COUNT 62
    NO STANDARD PAGE HEADING.
    This program up / downloads from / to a local dataset
    all the components of an ABAP - i.e TEXTS, the entire CUA
    including statuses and menus, DYNPROS and source code.
    Program documentation and variants are not handled.
    INCLUDED programs are automatically handled both on upload
    or download. INCLUDE selection can be excluded or generic
    e.g only handle INCLUDES starting with ZIN*
    INCLUDES within INCLUDES alos handled.
    The only restriction is on UPLOAD the INCLUDED programs must come
    from the same directory as the main program.
    On Download of course the ABAP must exist in the library.
    Note for LINUX and BATCH users
    This program was originally designed as a one off tool for
    getting ABAPS etc from a SAP R2 (IBM MVS mainframe system) into
    an R3 test system minimising the need for a large amount of
    mainframe sysprogs (anybody remember what they were !!) time
    and support to say nothing of access problems from TSO /JES2 /
    SAP R2. At that time network connections were patchy and the
    transport systems largely incompatable and not very reliable.
    This program was originally designed as a one off tool for
    Must run on Windows front end ---- If you are running SAP with
    LINUX on your work station you will have to change the WS_UPLOAD
    and WS_DOWNLOAD functions to reflect the Linux file system. The
    contents of the data sets themseleves do not need to be changed
    Program can easily be modified to run in batch and store
    the data on a UNIX host. Change the WS_UPLOAD and WS_DOWNLOAD
    to read from and write to UNIX data sets (OPEN FILE etc).
    You will also need to modify the parts of the program that get
    the DOS directory and display the Windows file paths.
    The actual abap data sets do not need to be changed.
    Rel 4.0 names can now be up to 40 bytes long
    Dynpros and CUA have changed from rel 3.1
    Tabstrips now loaded and unloaded in dynpros
    Please note restriction on 4.6 systems for users who
    have ABAP names which include '/'s in their names.
    Rel 4.6b, 4.6c Abap names can include the '/' in their names
    e.g /CUST1/CUST2/ORDER
    This causes problems when storing to a local file.
    a solution is to change the name to %CUST1%CUST2%ORDER i.e / will
    be changed to %. On upload the % should be changed back to /
    again. This change still needs to be implemented.
    If you don't use the / in the abap name then this is not a problem.
    If file to be uploaded is in rel 3 format then names are only 8
    bytes long.
    program uses 3 datasets per abap
    1) abapname.eee source, dynpr logic, texts, CUA stuff
    2) abapname.hhh dynpr header
    3) abapname.fff dynpro fields.
    because of varying lengths and contents 3 data sets are used. The
    complexity of combining all these to 1 data set would make the
    program far too complex.
    NOTE: This version of the program can only be used on
    release 4.0 or higher. Once an ABAP has been converted
    to rel 4.0 it cannot be converted back to rel 3.0
    on a release 3/3.1 system. Release 4 CUA tables
    are different. Use release 3 version of this program
    for releases 3.0 and 3.1. Available on SAPFANS website.
    Note that data to be uploaded must have been previously downloaded
    by this program (any version since rel 2.0) - except for Initial
    Load -- see end of these comments.
    Dynpros and CUA statuses have changed since rel 3.1
    This program will handle rel 3.1 format on upload but will
    download in rel 4.0 format. To upload 3.1 format specify an 'X'
    in the rel3 parameter.
    If you have downloaded components in rel 4.0 format and you
    want to re-load to a 3.1 system you will have to load
    the source via standard upload and re-create dynpros and the CUA
    manually.
    As names can now be longer than 8 characters you can only
    use this program if the SAP front end (SAPGUI) supports
    long file names (WIN 95/98 or WIN NT). Windows 3.x will not
    work as the underlying DOS system cannot handle long file names.
    UPLOAD function and DOS directory.
    When an ABAP is selected for UPLOAD then the DOS
    directory is read into a table. A file called ABAP.BAT is created,
    and down loaded to the 'C' drive and executed.
    This file executes a DOS DIR command and pipes the output
    into a dataset which is then uploaded into an internal
    table on SAP.
    Note on running DOS commands from ABAP
    The first time this procedure is executed you will see a DOS window
    which you will have to close manually. To get round this
    use windows explorer to select the file ABAP.BAT and then
    right mouse click on the file name. Select the
    properties window. From this click the CLOSE on EXIT box. This
    will then automatically close the DOS function after it has
    executed. (Windows restriction).
    The DOS function has not been tested using Windows 2000 so
    it might not work. OK on W95,W98,WME and Windows NT (No Thanks)
    If INCLUDE programs are wanted on UPLOAD only the specified
    directory is searched.
    Instead of entering path name manually you can click on
    the path parameter. Because of Windows restriction you will
    have to select ANY file in the relevant directory.
    The path will then be copied on to the selection screen.
    To do still : Merge 3 files to one and compress output to .ZIP file
    fix 4.5 4.6 problem of abaps containing '/' in the name
    possibility to automatically up / download referenced
    function modules with selection criteria like INCLUDES
    To load the ist time into a system.
    Create program with ABAP editor and Upload the .EEE file.
    Delete ist line (????SRCE) in the ABAP EDITOR --NOT THE DISK FILE
    Delete all the source from the line that starts ????TEXT (towards
    the end file) till the end so the last line in your source is ENDFORM.
    DO NOT ALTER THE DISK FILE. DO THESE CHANGES IN THE ABAP EDITOR.
    Save file and execute
    Use following parameters (Note the ist time you won't get proper
    text on the selection screen).
    Function U
    Path full dos path containing source e.g c:\abaps\
    NOTE YOU MUST ENTER THE FINAL \ as above.
    REPID the program name. e.g ZZJIMHXX
    note that on the DISK you will see 3 files
    ZZJIMHXX.EEE, ZZJIMHXX.FFF, ZZJIMHXX.HHH
    just use the name before the dos qualifier - the
    program will do the rest
    ignore other parameters
    The program will then load itself with all the texts etc.
    It should now be ready for use.

    For download INCLUDE handling can be resolved via function
    module call.
    All Includes within Includes are also resolved by the function
    module call.
    Note that this method does not work if program itself is of type
    I (it's an include)
    In this case we can still search the source.

    We need to check now for INCLUDES on DOWNLOAD when the INCLUDE
    program itself is of type I. In this case the function call
    will not return the INCLUDES. For example we could be
    downloading ZTESTTOP (an Include itself) which as an include
    ZTEST01.
    The process fortunately is the same as the UPLOAD function
    except of course we need to read the library instead of the
    DOS directory
    process INCLUDE modules for Upload
    On upload the procedure is more complex as Includes within
    Includes can only be resolved by scanning the code and
    searching if the program exists in the directory.
    To get all INCLUDES within INCLUDES entries in table I_INCL
    that do not exist in I_INCLUDE are copied to table I_INCLUDE
    after each entire pass of table i_INCLUDE and table is then
    re-looped through. Programs in table I_INCLUDE that have already
    been processed have a "Y" indicator set in I_INCLUDE-AVAIL.

  • Build blazeDS source code

    After I set the dev-environment, I started build the source code.
    >> ant main
    BUILD FAILED
    F:\tmp\blazeds_src_3-0-0-544\build.xml:68: The following error occurred while executing this line:
    F:\tmp\blazeds_src_3-0-0-544\modules\common\build.xml:100: Unable to rename old file (F:\tmp\blazeds_src_3-0-0-544\lib\flex-messaging-common.jar) to temporary file
    But it successed when I built the code in other way.
    >> ant clean
    >> ant sdk
    >> ant common
    >> ant common
    What's wrong?

    The problem is not with Ant, but with Windows, which is more strict in allowing files to be deleted that Unix.  Seems that the build script isn't being tested very thoroughly in Windows.  Something is still accessing that jar (possibly ant itself) while ant is trying to rename the jar.
    My workaround was to break the build process up into 3 steps, to allow whatever is holding the jar up to let go of it.  I added these targets to the main build file, and removed the dependency on the jar target from the postbuilds target in both common and core build files.  Then you have to manually call ant main1, ant main2, ant main3 and seems to work fine.

  • I am running 10.6.8 and using iweb for my web site. After several SEO analysis they all indicate I need H1-6 header tags. After looking at the source code I see there are none in iweb. Is it necessary to add? If so, how do I add H Tags to iweb.

    I am running 10.6.8 and using iweb for my web site. After several SEO analysis they all indicate I need H1-6 header tags. After looking at the source code I see there are none in iweb. Are they necessary to add?  Why would one add these tags and how do I add H Tags to iweb? And are there examples to look at? I am slowly learning about simple web design and assumed that iweb was stand alone without having to write code. Is this one of the reasons iweb is no longer supported? Thanks for looking at this!

    A simple text page like this:
    Heading
        sub heading
              text paragraph ....
    Is traditionally represented by html tags like:
    <h1>Heading</h1>
         <h2>sub heading</h2>
              <p>text paragraph ... </p>
    I would guess that the use of h1-h6 tags helps search engines to understand the structure of a page as the tags imply a certain structure.
    This can be compared to more generic tags like <div> that could represent any kind of content - and may be what iWeb uses (you'll have to check yourself).
    I would generally recommend that you use some kind of up to date blog/site building tool, perhaps Wordpress or Squarespace (I haven't used either one myself) that support current web technologies - this should reduce your SEO issues and make it easier to properly support mobile/tablet users.
