Testing of http2rfc scenario

Hi All,
i am working on http2rfc scenario. i sent the message using http adapter from Runtimeworkbench->Component monitoring>Test Message tab. There message successfully sent, but in SXMB_MONI,  no messages displayed.
Please understand my problem and any body came across this situation, please let me know the solution asap.
Thanks,
Nagarjuna.

Hi Nagarjuna,
Look in transaction SMICM for trace logs that could have gone wrong. Message should be in error somewhere.
Check also if you have set trace level to 3 in integration engine configuration -> sxmb_adm. This allows messages to be monitored in transaction sxmb_adm.
Hope this helps,
Best regards,
Laurent

    Hi,
I am new to SAP world. I am following this blog to /people/community.user/blog/2006/12/12/http-to-rfc--a-starter-kit
to test http2rfc scenario to make a BAPI call in r/3. I am getting following error message:
      <SAP:Code area="INTERNAL">HTTP_RESP_STATUS_CODE_NOT_OK</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1>401</SAP:P1>
      <SAP:P2>Unauthorized</SAP:P2>
(Got this using SXMB_MONI) in XI system)
My congifuration of the scenario is correct as I tested in the configuration tool. Also, the request in SXMB_MONI looks correct.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • How do u test the entire scenario in XI?

How do u test the entire scenario in xi?

    Hi,
If you need to test only the mapping then you can go to Test tab in Message mapping or Test tab in Interface mapping and test it.
If you need to test the entire scenario without adapters you can go to ID and select the menu Test Scenario.
    OR
You can go to Runtime Workbench and when you click on the Integration Server you will find the Test tab in the bottomthere you can test the same.
The above dose'nt include adapter, if you need to tes it with adapters then you need to test like actually realtime execution.

  • How can we testing the MDM Scenario

    Hi
As per in XI we use to test the scenario by using SXI_MONI and other onesu2026Like this is there any process to test the MDM scenario ..
    Thanku
    yuga

    Hi Yugandhar,
As far as I know,MDM has  no such Monitoring Facility within the tool.
There are differnet parameters on basis of which you can monitor or test the performance by considering these factors while building the rep
    - Parameters to be decided while creating the data model by proper selection of  the field properties.
    - Correct Sizing
    - Taking backups
    - Correct setting sin the server ini
    - Configuration settings in the MDM client
    - Proper setting for automation of importing and syndication
If you have XI in your landscape then you can use it for minitoring purposes.
Within MDM you can only Verfify and check your repository from time to time and take backups lin the form of archieve and duplicate repository for maintainence purpose.
You can also use the MDM workflow to control and monitor the flow of Data records and it enrichment.
You can also use Clix to monitor the MDM repository connection and protection using the command line interface
But there is no specified and dedicated testing feature in MDM.
    Hope It Helped,

  • Performence test and dcoument scenarios

    Hi Experts,
i need Performence test and dcoument scenarios of the G/L Entry both ledgers.
any one please send one Performence test and dcoument scenario.( Related  document)

I think as a BW user , you are supposed to do a application level checkout of the systems after BASIS finished the update.
Application level checkout is done to make sure that the connections between source systems, between BI (dev, test, prod) systems.
Application level check usually requires you to confirm to BASIS regarding ALE , TRFC level communications between systems.
A simple test would be to execute a simple known infopackage and verify the data from source systems. This verifies the conncetion between source and BI systems.
A transport between BI systems checks connections between  them. Make sure that u donot transport into  production before testing in CONS.

  • Error while testing sender SOAP scenario from XMLSpy-but can test from RWB

    HI,
I developed one scenario with sender SOAP adapter and Receiver side ABAP proxy.
Now I want to test my scenario.
I tested my scenario  successfully from RWB-->Integration server &#61664;Integration Engine. ( it posted successfully and I can see checked flag in SXMB_MONI)
But when I tried to test the scenario fro XML spy it is throwing HTTP error 500.
When I type my URL in internet explores it is giving “Message Servlet is in Status OK”.
I am not sure what is the difference between there two type of testing.
What does it mean by successful from RWB and fails from XMLSpy?
Why I am getting this error from XMLSpy?

    Dear Ashok,
if RWB showing you successful then message in not in error.
XML Spy giving error HTTP 500 not it is just server error. This might be due to large payload.
here is the description of all error related with 500+
    5xx Server Error
The server failed to fulfill an apparently valid request.
Response status codes beginning with the digit "5" indicate cases in which the server is aware that it has erred or is incapable of performing the request. Except when responding to a HEAD request, the server SHOULD include an entity containing an explanation of the error situation, and whether it is a temporary or permanent condition. User agents SHOULD display any included entity to the user. These response codes are applicable to any request method.

    504 Gateway Timeout
    505 HTTP Version Not Supported
506 Variant Also Negotiates (RFC 2295)
507 Insufficient Storage (WebDAV) (RFC 4918)
    509 Bandwidth Limit Exceeded
This status code, while used by many servers, is not an official HTTP status code.
    510 Not Extended (RFC 2774)
    first ping your server
    Tcode for this is SM49>ping
Then in additional parameter put the server IP and execute it will show you its reachability.
if it is not reachable then contact the server vendor,
Else if it is timeout problemthen
you run Tcode SXMB_ADM>intregration engine configuration
    put category RUNTIME
    then click specific configuration
    Then change/increase HTTP timeout

  • How do I test Sender SOAP scenario?

    Hi
    Soap - IDOC.
The authorizations on the WS to send data is not yet provided to me.
thus, I m trying to send a sample data from Altova XML spy.
For this purpose I have created a WSDL from ID (Tools -> create WS)
in Receiver NS, receiver MI, I have given receiver side details only
but in sender side NS and MI and Sender service, I have given the Sender service that I have created in ID and the XI's local NS and receiver MI
For URL, I have selected on "Propose URL". Now will I be able to send data to the R3 server with this link?
(R3 is production server in my network)
now with that WSDL, I coudlnt validate in XML SPY.
have I provided the correct details?
Please suggest me is there any other way of testing Sender WS to IDOC?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Venkat.

    oops I guess I have confused u
    let me detail it again
    Scenario : SOAP - XI - IDOC
    The scenario is finished.
I dont have authorizations on WS to logon n send the data
Thus, I have created WSDL from ID (in XI)
now I want to send data to XI which inturn will post the data to R3 and create a IDOC
when I try to validate the WSDL created through XI using SPY, it couldnt validate and I couldnt send the request
I want to send the data from outside XI and I want to generate a IDOC with the test data I have specified.
    how do I do it?
Hope I made it clear this time
    Thanks,
    Nikhil.

  • How to test a webservice scenario...

    Hi,
In SAP PI, I need to test a scenario that involves webservice. I can see in Integration directory
that a communication channel has been defined as sender with adapter type as File. So I assume that a file is being picked up
    from the FTP server.
Also There is another comm channel of type receiver, adapter type as SOAP with a target URL.
Now I dont know how to test this ? Any pointers how to check
from where this request to webservice is initiated ? I have not worked
on web service scenario before, so need help to understand to test the end to end.
    thanks

    HI
Your's is a file to  SOAP scenario, to test this follow this steps:
Now I dont know how to test this ? Any pointers how to check
from where this request to webservice is initiated ?
    1. Do you have test data? any file that is archived in sender FTP under archive directory. If not then go to your
mapping progrram->test tab-> fill test data (all mandatory fields)->switch to xml tab- Copy the whole content
->save it in a text pad->see the file name maitained in the sender file adapter->rename the file and place in
the location mentioned in the sender FTP.
    2. Check  in RWB if the channels is active and you can see the  file being picked in the log ,you can see SXMB MONI
also if there is checkerd flag.
    3. To see if the soap posing has happened or not you can see the soap channel monitoring in RWB  and read the log
or you can confirm the posting with the  team which received the data( portal /Webservice).

  • Testing XI SOAP scenario via XMLSpy

    I've completed the following -
    1. Created the scenario SOAP => XI => RFC
    2. Using XI config, generated WSDL specifying the Message Interface which triggers the scenario in XI.
    http://<serverhost>:<port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=<party>:<ServiceName>:<Channel Name>
    3. Transported this WSDL to local directory
    4. Testing WebService by sending a SOAP message using XMLSpy. Option Soap=>Send request to Server.

    Thank you.

    Hi Prasad, thank you.
Niall Guerin wrote me a message in which he explained that some of my XI components are inconsistently patched. I will verify and correct that.
      Thanks again.
      Ivan
    <i>Hi Ivan,
Thanks for the patch level information above. Your components are not
    up to date.
As you can see the following XI AFW components are inconsistently
    patched:
    sap.com SAP-XIAFC 3.0 SP12
    sap.com SAP_XIAF 3.0 SP17
ALL XI components MUST be on the same patch level. This means:
XIAFC, XIAF, and XITOOLS must all be on SP17. The same goes for the
ABAP stack. Basis must be on SP17 and so must your J2EE Engine. With
XI, ALL patch levels must be consistent as a prerequisite. Please
    refer to attached note: 750511.
In addition, it looks like you've got a PCK deployed on the XI host
as well? A PCK cannot co-exist with an XI installation, so please
ensure you did not do this and undeploy it if it was installed on top
    of the XI host.
Please patch the XI Java components correctly and then reproduce the
SOAP Adapter problem after sending a soap request to the adapter.
For more information on the message status in your screenshot, refer
to the weblink below. This is an enhancement with SPS17 for the Runtime

  • Testing of File2File scenario

    Hi All,
i have one problem in my file to file scenario, that is the file is picked by the sender adapter engine and not reached to the Integration engine. In message monitoring it displays "0 messages found". In SXMB_MONI, i got "No messages available for the selection". I tested the configuration in ID, it's working fine and also tested the message mapping and interface mapping all these are OK..
And i am trying to send the message in message monitoring of RWB, there i got the following error.
"Error while sending message: 401 Unauthorized".
What is the error? Anybody came across this situation, please help me.
I am very thankful to you all in advance.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Nagarjuna.

Ok with your unauthorised error it is either insufficient roles, or wrong user or password...
As for the message not arriving in the moni... well if you check the comm hcannel monitoring you will probably see some sort of error...
Off the top of my head...
    Empty File
You have content conversion and one of your parameters are incorrect.
The above are assuming that you have configured everything else correctly in the first place..
But please let me know what the comm channel monitoring says...

  • Testing Lead Time Scenario

    Hi gurus,
I'm after some suggestions as to how to configure the following scenario in our make to stock PP-PI environment.
Our process orders have a standard production rate for production of a batch of pieces.  I.e. 600 pc per hour.  The pieces are recieved into QI stock and then samples are sent to the lab.  The testing lead time is usually 24 hours but for every 10th batch the samples are sent off site and the lead time changes to 2 weeks.  We need to make sure that we schedule the start of the planned/process order to take into account the different post production testing lead time.
    Thanks,
    Ros

    Hi,
In Planned Order and production order, there is facility to change Floats in Schedule Margin Key manually. Even u can chage SMK maually.

  • Oracle ADF - Open Script functional testing - Error Identification scenarios

    Hi All,
We have been exploring OATS - Open script functional testing tool for ADF application regression testing.
We were able to record the transactions and play back those recordings, but we were not able to understand the scenarios where tool will detect as error/ issue.
Based on our understanding, Open script remembers as objects/Xpaths from screens and use them while playing back.
Could you please provide scenarios how tool identifies as errors..ex.component is removed or modified?
    Simple example:
    1) Open page A
    2) Click on image 1 on page A
    3) Click on image 2 on page A
    4) Click button to navigate to Page B.
In this scenario, when we play back without changing it works fine
but if we remove or comment  "image 2 on Page A " it's not throwing as error. it's continuing to next step.
commenting or removing actions/components is not considered as issue.
    Thanks for your suggestions

    Hello Bala
What is your Java version? JInitiator or Sun?
When exactly does this error occur?
    What is your OATS version?
Have you ran a Diagnose Tool (Help Menu in OpenScript)?
    Thx
