You have to import your image to new service(Zservice) like below..
Step: ZSERVICE>Topic99>Create>MIME>import from your desktop or any location, then give a path in your template source code below,
Example. < img name="phone`i`" border=0 src="`mimeURL(~language="", ~name="image/phone.gif")`" alt="`#PhoneMe`" border=0 > (Ref: PZ01 Service)
And to do the Save/Publish.

If you know the tables, you yourself can create the template by downloading the entries from KNA1, KNB1, KNVV, KNVP (for customer master) to an excel sheet.
You can then use the sheet to introduce your new data. After entering the data in excel sheet, you can just copy and paste it in text pad. That serves as the template. You can use that for uploading using LSMW/BDC etc

Opening new excel file from available Template-Urgent

Hi Friends,
I have the functionality like this. I have one excel template. In that i am getting two text files(header and row values) and filling it on the excel file. After that i am doing operation on it. These things i have succeded already. The problem is i am opening the excel file like this
Process pro = Runtime.getRuntime().exec(strExcelPath+" "+"..\\std\\app\\client\\resource\\SkillReport.xlt");
when i am opening like this it is opening the tempalte for editing in stead of getting new instance from it. Can any one help me to get a new instance in stead of opening the template itself.

Web template transport - Urgent

We are unable to save a web template (after making changes)and getting the following errors.
" THE OBJECT CANNOT BE PROCESSED DUE TO A TRANSPORT PROBLEM"
When we click Ok, then the following message is appearing:
"COULD NOT SAVE TEMPLATE"
There is no any other error messages and we are unable to find the solution. Please help urgently.

welcome to SDN ...
you need to create a bex reqeust, rsa1->transport connection-> icon truck with 'bex', assign with package as the web template when you transport.
(it seems you have ever transported the web template).
all your changes may be gone since you need to close WAD and open/login again. to save the changes you have done,
in WAD go to tab 'html' something ('design') and ctrl + A (to copy all the line) html to notepad or somewhere.
when open again the web template, paste back the codes/html.

We have seeded reports in Oracle apps. Lets take an example of a purchase order report. Say the seeded out-of-the-box report has the following information:
PO number, PO details
I can go ahead and use the template builder and create a nice looking report with that information.
Now, lets say that I want to display the supplier name in my purchase order report. Since the seeeded purchase order report does not have the supplier name (it is not there in the xml generated by the standard out-of-the-box report), the only way I can display the supplier name on the report is by querying up the supplier table and getting that information. I know that I can go ahead and modify the existing out-of-the-box report, but I do not want to do that. I do not have control over the XML that is generated since the XML is generated when the report is run. Is there any way to retrieve the extra information (the supplier name in this example) AFTER the xml has been generated and BEFORE the template is applied ?
My Actual requirement is :
I have the same requirement to develop AR Invoice Report in XML publisher, actually it was developed using Optio Layout.my issue is the actual AR Invoice RDF contains 20 records and it showing the 20 recodes when we run that program (concurrent program output) after that while printing this report uisng the OPTIO layout (The Optio system is fetching some more records (10 records)) it printing total 30 records. i mean here the OPTIO is handling some pl/sql code i guess..
so now how we can handle this requirement using XMLP.I am using RTF Templates with 5.6.2 v. Is it possible to do the same manner how the OPTIO was doing. Is this possible with any other Templates ?. or we need to customize the RDF itself ? .but I know that I can go ahead and modify the existing out-of-the-box report, but I do not want to do that. I do not have control over the XML that is generated since the XML is generated when the report is run. URGENT: TRANSPORTING APPRAISAL TEMPLATE

Dear Friends,
I had created an appraisal template in my SandBox development client.
I then downloaded it and then uploaded it in the Golden Masters Client.
I also created a transport request at the time of saving the template in Golden Masters.
In my Testing client, I used SCC1 to transport the template and other appraisal settings from Golden Masters to the testing client.
Now, when I execute Tcode: APPCREATE in my testing client, the systems returns a message "No template found".
What might be the problem?
How can I solve it?
Please help, its urgent!!!

For transporting from one server to another server dont use scc1 use se09,se10 for using transport request and then try yaar definetely you will get i think so you are mirroring from one client to one client you are not transporting.

URGENT - Editing pages made from template

Okay so,
I have created a few pages from a template that I created. To make the pages from template, I went to file > new > page from template > "mycreated"
I need to edit these pages individually with different features and table layouts on each page, but it doesn't let me because the template locks these pages that I created from the template. How can I get around this?

If this were my site, I would make the entire region editable. That way you can apply some re-usable classes, unique IDs or inline styles if desired.

Web Template can not be found in WAD - Urgent please....

I have activated a Web Template from business content. I have also included the same in a role.
I need to make some changes in this. I can not find this in WAD. I can not find the role in WAD. When I search this in Metadata repository, I can see the web template but surprinsingly it doesn't show the underline query name and role..
can anyone please tell me the reason for this. This is urgent please.

2. Is the role assigned to your id?
3. Did you try searching (by using the binoculars) for the web template in WAD open window?

Can't move text in Curriculum Vitae template (Pages 5.0) (urgent)

I know it's not a good idea to use a template for a CV, but I need one right away (Thursday) and I really like the Pages 5.0 template.
The problem is, I'm trying to gain some space moving up the content of the page (and so using all the empty space at the top), but while I don't have problems moving up the table (on the left), I can't find a way to move the text (on the right) accordingly - like if there's an invisible roof. I tried tempering with the settings, but nothing

You haven't said what version of Pages, nor which CV template.
However I suspect, but can't be sure that it is Pages 5.2.2 and I think I know the CV template. It has a floating Textbox for the titles on the left and the regular document margins for the details on the right. A rather unwieldy arrangement.
Change the Margins in Document.

URGENT: Not seeing the variable Pop-up for Button , on web template in WAD

Hi gurus,
In IP I have a standard plan function for 'Copy', which has a few variables defined on the funciton itself (as to be changed):
Version from:
Version to:
Order from:
Order To:
Fiscal year from:
Fiscal year to:
All of the above variable are created with the following parameters:
Variable input: Optional (have also tried madantory)
Ready for input: is flagged.
Variable represents: Single value.
No default entry.
No personalized data.
Now in WAD, I create a button group for this function by selecting the Command, 'Executing Planning Function (simple)', manually entering my plan function technical name next to 'Command specific parameters', and selecting the dataprovider created for the filter I created in IP, and finally flagging the 'Display variable' button.
The problem is, on the web template the variable screen does not appear when I click on the function button. It executes the function in the background without giving me the pop-up for variable selection. And obviously since the variables have no default values, nothing is processesed.
I've tried this with planning sequence instead, and still wont give me the variable pop-up screen..
I've actually explicitlet entered the variables on the 'Parameters for Command screen', the same screen where you enter the filter for databinding and well as the function.
It still wont work (no variable pop-up screen).
Is this issue related to the support pack. We're on SP12 right now?
If not, do any of you gurus have any ideas? Big points will be rewarded for this.

In the parameterization of the command, there is an option 'show variable screen'. I am not sure if you have mentioned this clearly, but have you checked this option?

Urgent: Issue with the size of an xls file generated from a rtf template

Hi all,
I have a template.rtf
In BI, when I get the file in excel format and save it, the size of the report is 32 MB. When I just "save as" the same report, without changing anything, the size of the report is 8 MB.
Do you know how to get directly the report with the size 8 MB or would you have some guidelines to avoid this issue.

Actually I'm not in EBS. I generate the output (xls format) direclty from BIP.
The DB of my application can't be requested directly, then I use HTTP request.
From BIP, I launch the report choosing excel as output - the template is an rtf template.
I have been requested to open or save the xls file that I save (32 MB).
I open the excel file, save it again and the size of the file is now 8 MB.

Check whether any templates defined in your orgn for different types of objects.
For example for ALV reports so and so template and for Scripts something defined.
A template means I feel a std way of displaying data as per the orgn process/standards.
check for that.
Or use the same Std function modules and display the data and enquire further what's the template is?
