Hi,
Here is a good comment in the link below may help you understand the concept easily:

  • Testing Bluetooth connection between iPhone and MaxBook pro

    Hi everyone:
    I'm testing the GKTank sample from the SDK for the purpose of learning how the Bluetooth connection can work between two iPhone/iPad devices. I do not have the second iPhone to test it with so at the moment all I have is my iPhone 4 and a MacBook Pro that runs GKTank app in a simulator.
    But what happens is that when I fire both (the app on iPhone and on the simulator) the simulator always pops up a message that my iPhone was discovered (in the list for the GKPeerPickerController window) but my iPhone never does the same thing and its GKPeerPickerController window simply shows "Looking for other iPads, iPhones, or iPod touches..."
    Can someone tell me why is that and if it is normal?

    I get a similar result. I can initiate the game from the sim side and get an accept/decline on the iPhone4, but as soon as I accept the game ends on the sim side. Frankly, I didn't expect it to get that far.

  • GE 31591 Phone - caught between Skype and GE_conti...

    I bought a GE 31591 Phone with Amazon.  Phone worked perfectly since February 2012.  Contact list simply disappeared from the phone weeks ago.  However, I logged in with my wife account and her contact list was there!  A subscriber called EbuyNow_PRO started to try to solve my problem and afterwards they gave up.
    This message is to Skype.  My phone doesn´t have hardware problem.  My ACCOUNT (not my phone) has a problem with Skype system.  Skype, I want a solution to my problem!

    Dear Readers and utonium01,
    Please accept my apologies.  I am not an autobot, and have been known to err as indeed I am only human.    Copy and paste and switching between various open tabs in my internet browser was the culprit.
    My enquiry, above, still stands -- as I am continuing to diagnose and assist in resolving issues with this phone set.
    Warm regards,
    Elaine

  • Skype and Lync interconnect

    Guys, I have a Skype account from about 2004. It's not linked to Microsoft accounts and in all probability it will never be, as I don't use Microsoft as my primary email provider.
    I was looking into talking with Lync users from work using my Skype id - which is obviously just a user name. Is there a way to do that? It seems I am unable to "send IM". Could this be an issue with how our work Lync is configured or is it something deeper?
    Thanks in advance

    I'm not sure about Skype for Business (Lync), but your Microsoft account email has nothing to do with Microsoft, it can be any email address as long as it's your own (you can acces it for verification and password recovery).
    Customer service could probably help you (or the SFB server admin) sort this out:

  • Testing conversion between reference and local currency...

    Hi,
    I am working on exchange rate configuration. If we define exchange Ref currency in the table for defining exchange rate type, SAP says that if we are using multiple currencies then we need not feed translation rates between each and every
    currency but just between reference currency and foreign currencies.
    I am using 3 foreign currencies (X1,X2,X3) and one local or reference (BMD) currency.
    I have defined the translation rates between (X1 -> BMD, X2 -> BMD, X3 -> BMD). Now I want to test if translation between X1 and X2 takes place
    correctly or not. How can I test this ? How can I prototype this in afunction module ?
    Regards,
    Rajesh.

    Hi,
    Use the FM:
    <b>READ_EXCHANGE_RATE</b> Retrieve exchange rate on a particular date
    Hope this helps.
    Reward if helpful.

  • Cisco VCS/Codian MCU and Lync 2013 integration

    Hi,
    I would like to know if Lync 2013 is supported to work with:
    - Cisco Tandberg VCS version x6.1
    - Cisco Codian 4.1 (comp. 6.16)
    Is it necessary to update both devices to be supported/homologated/qualified?
    Thanks

    Hi, Kent ... From what I'm seeing so far the challenges of integrating Cisco/Tandberg equipment and Lync 2013 are the same as what you may have already encountered with Lync 2010.  Since the Cisco endpoints and MCU cannot register directly to Lync 2010
    or 2013, you will need to leverage the VCS systems as your SIP gateway between them and Lync clients.  In Lync 2010 there were limitations as to the interoperability of the H.263/264 codec used by Cisco gear and the RTV codec that Lync was restricted
    to, and we often experienced frozen video feeds from Lync clients or an inability to connect to individual Cisco endpoints or conferences hosted by the Codian MCU.  Even though Lync 2013 will use H.264 as a codec for the video stream, I anticipate there
    will still be challenges interconnecting through the VCS as well as providing content between Lync and Cisco endpoints.  However, I expect an increase in the video quality since Lync 2013 supports higher resolutions and also uses a non-proprietary codec.
    I expect content to still be unreliable for the Lync participant, even when using a Codian MCU.
    You will still need to setup your VCS with a separate Neighbor zone for the Lync 2013 server just as you did for Lync 2010.  I wouldn't hold my breath for Cisco to update the VCS software to accomodate the specific needs of Lync 2013, but at least the
    VCS will get the correct video codec and connect your call.  I don't know about you but I had to put my Cisco units and MCU into a separate SIP domain from the Lync pool, and then create a static route for the Cisco SIP domain on the Lync 2010 front-end
    server.  I expect to do the same in Lync 2013.
    Ideally, Microsoft and Cisco would agree that SIP is SIP, and whether an endpoint registers with VCS, UCM or Lync shouldn't be relevant.  Alas, it'll be a long, long time before that is true, certainly not as long as Microsoft and Polycom have
    such a tight bond.  I plan on implementing Lync 2013 in the next few months and will gladly post any progress here.  At this point my plan is to simply mirror the static route and configuration I have with Lync 2010.  My VCS and Codian units
    are running software versions just a little ahead of yours and work fine.
    Good luck!

    I have JAVA and ABAP on the same system. I am trying to establish a connection. I have checked all the settings and they looks fine. I have also pinged from other system to this server and the Ping works fine.
    Please do let m eknow where do I need to check for the errros or logs for the above error message.

    Check the relevant services are test are active on the Backend system through SICF trransaction.
    Also make sure that default icm services are running.See note 517484.
    More important the connector test in the portal system should work properly,recheck the WAS path etc are correct.

  • Trouble with Between operator and Order by clausule

    Hello, can somebody help me?
    I have this setup:
    create table test (cod varchar2(10));
    insert into test (cod) values ('1');
    insert into test (cod) values ('2');
    insert into test (cod) values ('3');
    insert into test (cod) values ('4');
    insert into test (cod) values ('5');
    insert into test (cod) values ('49');
    insert into test (cod) values ('CN0047');
    commit
    Then this query:
    SQL> select * from test order by 1;
    COD
    CN0047
    1
    2
    3
    4
    49
    5
    7 filas seleccionadas.
    SQL> select * from test order by 1 desc;
    COD
    5
    49
    4
    3
    2
    1
    CN0047
    7 filas seleccionadas.
    SQL> select * from test where cod between 'CN0047' AND '49';
    no row selected
    SQL> select * from test where cod between '49' AND 'CN0047';
    COD
    5
    49
    CN0047
    Why Between operator works different than Order by?
    This query: select * from test where cod between 'CN0047' AND '49';
    Shouldn't return CN0047, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 49?
    Thanks in advance.

  • The problem about Secure Reliable Messaging between WCF and Weblogic

    I'm doing a project for testing the interoperability between WCF and Weblogic with secure reliable messaging.
    When WCF client talk to Weblogic service with Secure Reliable feature enabled.We got error when CreateSequence, the error message is below:
    The incoming message was signed with a token which was different from what used to encrypt the body. This was not expected.
    The remote endpoint requested an address for acknowledgements that is not the same as the address for application messages. The channel could not be opened because this is not supported. Ensure the endpoint address used to create the channel is identical to the one the remote endpoint was set up with.
    My understanding is that the client accepted the RSTR from weblogic (so both sides now share the secure conversation token) and moved on to CreateSequence (and failed due to config mismatches). But I don't how the error happen and how to get it fixed.
    -- below is the wsdl you are using --
    Any ideas about it?

    Hi Michael,
    The short answer, at this time, OOTB, WS-RM interop with an unknown

    Thank you Bruce. I will look at these docs.

    Hello,
    We have developed an application that is running on the WebLogic AppServer v8.1
    sp1.
    Recently we have received a request/query on providing reliable SOAPmessaging
    from our application to 3rd party.
    I have read the documentation on Reliable messaging support and havenoted that
    it is only supported between two WebLogic Application servers.
    My questions are, since we do not have control of the 3rd party's application,
    and it may not be based on a WebLogic App Server:
    1. Will this work?
    2. Does anyone have any idea of the type of issues that may be experienced?
    3. How close is the implementation to the WS Reliable Messaging specification?
    So, if the other party was based on an IBM or Microsoft implementationis this
    likely to work?
    It goes without saying that any work done would need to be very throughlytested
    and qualified.
    I have looked through the WebLogic Documentation on WebServices aswell as searching
    this newgroup for other posts on this topic, hopefully I have not missedanything
    (If so, my apologies.)

  • Privacy in linked Skype and Hotmail/Messenger/Outl...

    An ex boyfriend managed to get access to my Hotmail account and he has seen  my skype conversations, but I do not know how far back in history he could access.
    There was no option to delete skype history within the Hotmail account I had tried many times to get rid of them in the Hotmail reading pane.
    I have now managed to unlink the two which has removed it.  I have also been into skype and removed the link.
    Within the skype platform,it was set it to never save history and to be doubly safe I always  manually deleted history.  However it kept appearing in hotmail messenger reading pane.
    I have two questions that I hope someone can help me with:
    1. If he got access to my hotmail again can he switch on the link between skype and messenger and therfore gain access into my skype history
    2.  Please could someone out there check their own linked account in hotmail/outlook  and tell me how long the skype history goes back for.  is it months or years?  I unlinked them in haste and now I cant tell the extent of the situation
    Many thanks I look forward to hearing from you

    Hello,
    Sorry to hear that - such type of situations are not nice.
    I have linked my accounts; but the chat history is all the time only with skype - meaning - it is not enabled in Outlook - http://community.skype.com/t5/Live-Messenger/How-to-access-chat-history/td-p/1358453
    Just to make sure - I would suggest to really and check your other accounts and ensure that you change your password (and choose a good password) - the whole idea is that access to your information should be accessible to you AND only you
    Cheers

  • Difference between Testing Message in Integarion Engine and Adapter Engine

    Hi Experts,
    in project, we always test message in runtime workbench>component monitoring>integration engine-->Test Messge
    however, i also find that in  runtime workbench>component monitoring>adapter engine also exists a Test Message tab.
    we don't have access to test messages in this tab, so can anyone tell that what is the difference between testing message in integration engine and adapter engine?
    thanks in advance.

    The usual flow of messages in scenarios which use adapters at both sender and receiver end is as follows
    Sender system -> Adapter Engine -> Integration Engine -> Adapter Engine -> Receiver system
    When you use the testing option in IE, then you are basically posting the message directly to the Integration Engine.
    When you use the testing option in AE, then you are trying to post the message to the adapter engine, which will then forward the message to the Integration Engine. IN this testing, you are also testing the sender adapter also.

  • How to test the connection between DSD backend and DSD connector

    Dear all,
    I am configuring the MDSD scenario .. and i want to insure that my customization is correct
    How to test the connection between DSD Backend and DSD connector ??

    Hi Viren,
    The problem is:
    We have a new BW system. The basis people asked me to check the connection between this BW system and the R/3. There is only one client for now(100). I have logged into 100 and tried executing RSA1 to check the connection, but it gave a message box saying "You can only work in Client 000". Then I have treid logging into 000(just to make sure) and tried executing RSA1. Even here I got a message saying "The SAP BW system must not be operated in client 000". Now, I am not sure of what is wrong in clien 100. I am not sure if I have to do some settings before I access RSA1 or any other BW transaction. Could you please help me in this.
    Also, I just checked the RFC destinations in BW. There is a destination created for our R/3 and I have noticed that they have given a remote UserID and password for remote login. I tried to check the Remote UserID in SU01 but there is no userID with that name. Could this be a problem?
    Thanks,
    RPK.

  • DataSource / Structures mismatched between Dev and Test Systems. ..!!

    Hi,
    We are doing a scenario. Where XI will update the data into PSA through ABAP proxy.
    Scenario worked perfectly in development system.
    We transported the objects from Dev to test. The Strucures are mismatched in SE11 between development and Test systems as below.
    Data sources (ZDS_RECIHDR and ZDS_RECTPALL) looks ok. But when I saw the structures in SE11 they are not correct, they got mismatched.

  • Codec for HDV to share between apple and pc??

    our boss got us 2 G5s and a PC workstation, we can now only share movie files in uncompressed format between different platforms which costs a lot of disk space
    is there a CODEC which can be used in both APPLE and PC that encodes HDV in relatively smaller file?
    G5 Dual 2.7GHz   Mac OS X (10.4.7)   FCP 5.04

    i'm sure there's codec that use RLE could be
    lossless: ]
    but this is not what i want.
    i just need the codec that could be shared between
    mac and windows and keep most of the quality of HDV
    and compression ratio is close to HDV codec itself,
    When analog signals are converted into HDV digital data inside the HDV camera, your video is no longer lossless. It's not lossless because HDV is based on MPEG-2, which is not lossless. So, I don't mean to insult you, but your comment is self-contradictory.
    or may i ask is there a HDV codec which could be use
    both in mac and windows?
    HDV is a codec, so the answer is HDV. Or... As I said before, H.264 may be used to further recompress high-definition video.
