Testversion photoshop CS6

Hi, when I make a seleccion only I can fill in black, white and grey, does the tesverion normaly work with all the collers?
And also I can´t apply differnet layer modi, like p.e. multiply
I there something to do?

What is the image’s Color Mode (Image > Mode > …)?
If it is RGB are all three Channels selected (see the Channels Panel)?

Testversion photoshop cs6 extended

Hi
How can i get back to my licensed version of photoshop cs6?
Since a couple of days adobe somehow installed cs6 photoshop extended on my computer.
A dialog says that this is a testversion, and that i can buy it.
To begin with, i don't remember having asked for this testversion and i am perfectly happy with photoshop cs6.

Ja wie oben schon steht kann ich denn Grafikprozessor nicht für Photoshop verwenden.
Ich hab eine nVidia geforce gt 240m und als ich mir die Testversion von Photoshop CS6 geholt hab hatte ich anfangs das selbe Problem,
ich hab mir für die Grafikkarte dann ein Update runtergeladen und es hat funktioniert.
Jetzt hab ich die Vollversion und die Frage ist warum geht es jetzt nicht mehr?

Die Antwort lautet Farbmanagement (oder Fehlen des selben). Die Farben werden anhand von Farbprofilen umgerechnet. Das Problem tritt in GIMP nur nicht auf, weil es standardmäßig kein CM hat und damit dein RGB 1:1 auftaucht und maximal durch dein Monitorprofil/ Monitor- und Grafikkarteneinstellung verbogen wird, was aber keiner merkt, wenn alle Farben falsch verbogen werden. Wo nun der Fehler in deinem Fall ist, kann man aus der Ferne nicht sagen. Vielleicht sind die Bilder mit einem falschen Profil gespeichert oder wurden auf einem gemanagtem Monitor bearbeitet und dein Monitor eben nicht oder weiß der Geier. Ohne mal zu dem Thema nachzulesen und dein System entsprechend zu kalibrieren und einzurichten kommst du damit sowieso zu keinem schlüssigen Ergebnis. Und Hex-Codes sind bloss eine andere Form der 8bit Farbdarstellung, aber das spielt hier wirklich nicht die entscheidende Rolle. Selbst ein Browser stellt CSS/ HTML basierte Hex-Farben anders dar, als die theoretisch gleichen Farben in einem Bild mit einem bestimmten eingebetteten Farbprofil - wenn denn Farmanagement im Spiel ist. Zu dem Thema gibt es keine einfachen Antworten. Selbst wenn du alles auf sRGB zurücksetzt oder Farbprofile global ausknipst ist das noch lange keine Garantie...

Photoshop CS6 stopped working while exporting images via imageprocessor! [PC]

As the title says, my Photoshop cs6 64bit allways stops working and freezes when i attempt to export several opened documents via the imageprocessor.
I try to export them as JPEG, qualitiy 12.
My system Information:

so it looks like there was a porblem with MSVCR100.dll ... What is it?

Thanks for your responce, i will try that but i think nvidia is on newest driver..
It would be intresting to know what this MSVCR100.dll is doing, i have seen problems in Games like Battlefield and Fallout..
I will now try to disable the GPU acceleration in PHS..

Photoshop cs6 nur Datenträger PC (DVD)

ich habe eine Frage.
Bei Ebay fand ich Adobe Photoshop cs6 eingestellt nur als Datenträger.
Leider konnte der Verkäufer mir nicht erklären, was das genau bedeutet und verwies mich direkt an den Hersteller.
Heißt das, dass ich Photoshop cs6 mit diesem Datenträger installieren kann und es dann als Testversion verwenden?

Nur Datenträger heißt, keine Seriennummer. Keine Seriennummer heißt nur Testversion. Testversion heißt Nutzung nur maximal 30 Tage, wenn zuvor keine Testversion installiert war. Es heißt auch, in dieser Zeit darf niemals die Uhr von Deinem Rechner verstellt werden.
Genaugenommen ist der Vertrieb von Software von nicht von Adobe autorisierten Quellen illegal. Ich würde diesen Datenträger NICHT kaufen, nicht nehmen und wenn es geschehen ist nicht verwenden. Zu CS6 gibt es immer noch auf Adobe's Seite die Testversionen kostenlos zum Runterladen. Nimm die, da weist Du, dass Du keine virenverseuchte oder gefälschte Kopie kriegst, die Deinem Rechner massiv Schaden antun kann. Zudem ersparst Du Dir Geld.
Vielleicht solltest Du dieses Angebot bei Adobe melden, es grenzt an Betrug.

However, if I view the plug-in, it says that Camera Raw is only version 7.1. I can not find a direct download for Camera Raw 7.3, only the DNG converter, NOT CAMERA RAW! Please Help!

Is there a way I can edit the registry so that in Adobe Bridge, under edit, preferences, file type associations, the jpg extension is forced to use the 32-bit version of Photoshop? I can do it manually, but is there a registry key i can export to apply it to multiple computers?

Yes, in theory, but it is generally not recommended. But that location would depend on what OS you are on. Canon 1DX support was added to ACR in version 6.7, 7.1. An updated CS6 should be at level ACR 8.6. If your ACR is not at level 8.6 try using CS6 menu Help>Updates. If that does not install ACR 8.6 try downloading the ACR and DNG 8.6 converter and see if ACR 8.6 will install into your CS6.

I can no longer use 3D commands in Photoshop CS6 Extended

I have Photoshop CS6 Extended (Ver 13.0.1x64). My desktop is Windows 7 64 Home premium; and Video card is: AMD Radeon HD 5570. The drivers and operating system is updated.
I have been using simple 3D functions like "New 3D extrusion from..." from time to time without any problems until recently. For unknown reasons now when I try to invoke any 3D command, I get the following message: " Could not complete the "New 3D extrusion from selected layer command because of a program error." This ,message gets repeated for any 3D command.
I checked out 3D functionality in Photoshop CS6 32 bit; and Photoshop CS5.5 Extended. Same problem. However, I can access and use all 3D functions in Illustrator CS6. Clearly, therefore, the video card is not the problem. It looks like one of the recent software updates from Adobe must have caused this problem.

If it's the same machine (same CPU) there should not be any need to activate. The actiovation is tied to your CPU.

Photoshop CS6 - Spot channels are not saved correctly in the psd files.

Hi,
I'm using Photoshop CS6 and something happent a few days ago....some Windows or Adobe update messed up everything...I don't know...
Here's how things are.
If I add to an image a couple of new spot channels (any Pantone color) and remove the informations from the CMYK channels (or not-the problem it's there anyway), I should have an image with 6 color plates (CMYK and the 2 Pantone). It doesn't happened anymore...
I'm using Corel to print the files and the previous saved files are fine, I have all the Spot colors there. Now, If I edit any file I've worked on before, and save it again, the spot colors dissapear when I'm importing the psd file in my Corel document. And if there is no information on the CMYK channels, I'm getting a blank image...
I hope someone will give me some ideas because I don't know what to do anymore...

Right. It's not reading these new saved files correctly. The old ones are fine.
I forgot to mention one thing. I've got this CS6 as an upgrade and I still have the CS5 one running on the same computer. The CS5 version does the same thing...
Today I tryed again to open a PSD (CS6) with another CS5 version from another computer and came with an error message "Could not complete your request because the specified color book cannot be found". And the file didn't opened....
Who messed up my color book and how can I fix it?

Adobe Photoshop CS6 Very Slow On Rendering Type

I have a notebook with specification as mentioned below :
Lenovo Ideapad Y470P
2nd generation Intel Core i7-2670QM Processor( 2.2GHz 1333MHz 6MB)
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
AMD Radeon HD 7690 2GB
8.0GB PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM 1333 MHz
750GB 5400
I'm using Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit) for doing my job.
Right now, i have a task to create a banner with dimension 800 x 900 Centimeters with Resolution 300 DPI and Color Mode RGB 16 Bit.
The file size when blank is about 56.1 GB.
The problem is, when i add some text with Horizontal Type Tool and click on the Move Tool, the Rendering Type screen show up and take a very very long time to finished.
I have made some configurations to my Photoshop that i found on Adobe Forum, but the problem still persisted.
Some configurations that i've made is :
- Turn off the Automatically Save Recovery Information
- Set Maximize PSD and PSB File Compatibility to Ask
- Set the Memory Usage to 95%
- Set the Cache Levels to 8 and Cache Tile Size to 1024K
- Set the Graphics Advanced Settings to Drawing Mode Advanced, and Check the option Use Graphics Processor To Accelerate Computation, and Uncheck the option Anti-Alias and 30 Bit Display
- Set the Scratch Disk to another partition ( C:System D:PageFile E:Data F:Scratch Disk)
And after all of that configuration, my Photoshop still slow when Rendering Type.
Could you give me some tips to solve my problem?

300 ppi for a banner that size is categorically not normal. Guaranteed.
Get specific instructions from the shop that is going to print it.
You keep confusing ppi with dpi. The resolution of an image file really is expressed in ppi, pixels per inch, not "dpi" which is dots per inch. The precise terminology is as follows:
DPI = Dots per inch = units used to measure the resolution of a printer
LPI = Lines per inch = The offset printing 'lines' or dots per inch in a halftone or line screen.
PPI = Pixels per inch = the number of pixels per inch in screen/scanner file terms.

"Presumably, for a banner 3m x 5m, you'd be standing at a minimum of, say, 10 feet. (Just eyeballing the wall here.) So, by this table, you'll need 50 LPI minimum. That would mean your raster graphics should be about 100 PPI, or 75 PPI at 12-14 feet. Considering that and the fact that 2x LPI is pretty conservative for reproducing fidelity (often 1.5xLPI is "enough"), this agrees with [the given] advice of 75 PPI being acceptable."
Talk to your printer. I suspect they will want a file at under 75 ppi, or even much less. Follow the printer's advice/request.

Photoshop CS6 PDFs will not open in Adobe Acrobat

I've been using Photoshop to create reduced size PDFs. I've never had a problem with CS6 until the passed week. When I click to save for PDF no "error" dialogue box appears. However, when I try to open the new file in Adobe Acrobat reader a dialogue box says "Out of memory". Also, in my windows explorer, the file shows up as just a white box in the "Preview" side panel.
What am I not doing correctly all of a sudden? I've been sticking with the same preferences and Save settings since I first started using Photoshop CS5.

Have you updated Acrobat/ Adobe Reader recently? If so, this update may have introduced a compatibility issue in the globally shared Adobe PDF libraries. Either that or the update never went through properly and now you have a botched Acrobat. Do otehr PDFs from different sources open? If not, that would be a strong hint that you may need to reinstall/ repair Acrobat. It's also possible that you may have enabled sandboxing in the Acrobat Security prefs (or an update did) and thus Acrobat refuses to open certain files, if it can't determine their origins. One more thing that comes to mind: Have you tried saving the file twice in a row under the same name? Sometimes this stuff happens too fast (on SSD drives and such) and Windows doesn't update file security info in time (or your virus scanner can't keep up) and the resulting file is useless. Overwriting it with the same file would then yield correct results.

Where I can find SN in an already packaged Photoshop CS6?

Hi guys,
my problem sounds like this: I'm a software packager and I must package Photoshop CS6. I've received from someone an already packaged application - it was packaged using Adobe's tools.
I've asked for the original source files and serial number and he said they don't have them any more - they are using what they gave me and they thought they don't need other files.
The idea is that I need to see what serial number was used to package the application (to see when it is expiring, what kind of license is, etc.).
Does anyone knows where it can be found? Or if there is a file containing the serial number?
